Mark went to Juds. Mark was told the work had a 6 month warranty.Marks exhaust failed in month 5. Juds wouldnt honor warranty without a receipt. Mark went to Midas. Midas fixed it right. Midas has a 1 year warranty. Midas doesnt require a receipt as Midas has things called computers. Dont be like Mark! Go to Midas first!

Went by over the weekend to get an oil change and a tapping sound under my hood fixed but was also informed that my belt was in bad shape. Like most car repair shops they always tell you all these things wrong with your car for more money but Ed took me back to actually show me the problem with the tapping noise and showed me the condition of the belt and informed me its best if it gets taken care of now since I was already there. His service was excellent, very professional and nice. He even fixed the motion of my windshield wipers, as I did not realize something was wrong in the first place.I definitely recommend this place specifically.I can always reply on the Midas company to take care of my car!

I went there for an oil change and 1 service member told me he would also be checking out my vehicle for any other issues. A few minutes later, I was told I needed new wipers, my front left bearings were loose and he could shimmy the wheel with his hands & front right link was broken. I knew that what he said was suspicious and incorrect as first- I didnt need new wipers as my brother just replaced them a week before! Also my vehicle rides smoothly with no issues of wobbling or suspicious behavior. Iwill never obtain service from any Midas shop in the future. *Stay aware if you dont want to pay for more services you dont need!

My day went faster than I thought and I showed up 2 hours earlier than my scheduled appt. Ed (the manager) was very understanding and they took my car right away. 15 minutes later and my oil change was done....and they rotated the tires. I could not be happier....oh wait...Ed then told me there was a coupon I missed and he took it off the price anyhow. Saved me $35!!! This place was GREAT! (now if they would only get a car wash..lol)

Just moved in the area and was searching for a good shop that could I trust. At 9am on a Saturday other places said they were busy but midas was able to get me in. The manager was awesome, professional, new what he was talking about and actually helped save me some money after we originally agreed to a number. Very honest. Great customer service.

These guys are awesome! Especially Ed the General Manager. I called up there today at noon about an exhaust issue. When I got there he put the car on the lift and brought me out, showed me what was wrong, and explained how they could fix it. They thought outside the box and fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Any time I need any work done on my car Im coming here. The general manager Ed is the most helpful and honest mechanic Ive ever talked to. My car suddenly died while I was driving one day. I got it towed to Midas and I talked Ed. I explained what happened and he gave me a run down of the possibilities. At first he thought it was my alternator and battery because the battery was completely dead. Which is makes a lot of sense. They changed out both and unfortunately it didnt work. He called and let me know what they did and the outcome. He also told me he was gonna try some other things. He also had them put back in my original alternator and battery, and didnt try to charge me for new ones or even any labor. Well it turns out my engine went. I stopped up because I was skeptical at first. He was able to get the engine to turn over and it was making a bunch of noises an engine shouldnt be making. I also did research and everything that happened to my car prior to getting it there were signs of a seized engine. We were discussing options for a new one and he gave me a run down of places to check. I chose a place that Ed said hes worked with before. They quoted me $3192 for the engine and an extra $410 for a core fee which would be refunded when I brought the old engine back to them. Ed called them and not only did he get me the engine at the price they would charge him, which was around $400 less, he also had them deliver the new one and pick up the old one so I didnt have to pay the core fee. After all the prior work they did to diagnose what was wrong the only thing I paid was the labor for the engine. Ed went above and WAY beyond to take care of me and not try to screw me over or make me pay for a bunch of work and parts I didnt need. Again, if you ever need any type of work done on your vehicle I highly recommend taking it here.

I can’t be more happy with the service I was provided !!! I had gone to the dealership and they quoted me over 1200 worth of repairs for things I didn’t even need. I called and Ed stated he could do my repair that same day. I went in and left with all the repairs done for less than half the price my dealer had quoted!!! He explained everything to me and showed me what needed to be done on my car. He did not overcharged me and even suggested some other things that would make things easier if I ever had a flat tire. Overall great experience I don’t think I’m ever going anywhere else to get my car repair. He also does oil changes!!! Which I’ve been paying $69+ when he can do them for 19.99. Tire rotation is included with an oil change, except they dont do it. I had a smalle piece of metal stuck in the treads of one of my tires and it was in the same tire after they were done.

Charged me $40 to tell me there were a bunch of things wrong with my truck that really werent and totally failed to notice the broken belt in my tire that was causing all the problems. Do not recommend and wont go back. You asked me to contact you to discuss this and the link you provided was bogus.

Never, I repeat never service your car anywhere but Midas Strongsville! From the moment I called the Manager Ed to when I walked out the door, I received professional, friendly, efficient and personalized service from Ed, Kelvin and Damian. The Other Service Place told me my muffler needed repaired. When I visited Midas, Ed provided a complimentary Courtesy Inspection. Wow. Just wow. Not only did a need a pipe replaced, but my spark plugs had never been replaced, oil filter was filthy among other things. I am so happy to have discovered Midas! Thanks for everything, Guys. And GO STEELERS!

Been taking my cars for several years. Anytime there is something wrong Ed always shows me the issue so I can see it for myself. Always seem to do a great job.

I used to take my car to this rinky-dink operation for oil changes and car repairs. Being that I used to be very naive and at the time knew very little about cars, it was very easy for them to take advantage of me. Every time I would take my car for an oil change or a repair, another problem would happen with my car in less than two weeks after I took it to them. I would chalk it up as a coincidence until the it happened a third time. If there really wasnt something else wrong, you mean that they couldnt find the problem during their inspection for the repairs that I needed done. I guess they didnt scam me enough for one trip, so they decided to make sure I would be back for a second time in as many weeks. I would leave my car with them, and take off to the mall or grab a bit... BIG MISTAKE! This place will scam the hell out of you, and I can tell most of the reviews are fake as hell. The owner probably wrote many of the reviews and probably had a few friends write some as well. And no, my car doesnt normally just have problem after problem with it. Only when I took it to this shop for minor repairs would other things mysteriously go wrong with it. Stay Away!

I had a great experience with this car repair shop. Not only did they diagnose my problem immediately and fixed it quickly but I also paid half (if not less) of what I would normally pay at the dealer. On top of this, they did a complimentary car inspection and found a few issues that the dealers mechanics failed to notice in my last several trips there. If you want a fast, knowledgeable, no nonsense service, I would highly recommend this shop. You will not be disappointed.

I brought my own oil so they can change it for me. The manager there says its going to be $25 plus disposal fee, I said wow thats a lot. He then responds with If you dont like it, you can go do it yourself. Then he goes on and says Do you know what it takes to run a business like this.... Question to him, Does he know what it takes to earn customer loyalty? Cause i am sure he has no absolute experience in that. What a terrible customer service. It definitely cost the shop a customer.Note: this was actually my second time returning to the shop! No more though.

I can verify that Ed makes up false repairs on vehicles. Every time Ive been in there, he always picks 2 wear and tear items to say are worn out and need replaced. They will perform work on the vehicle and do a good job but I feel like hes making up repairs to try and get an extra buck or save the location. I mean. The guy told me I needed 4 tires, an alignment and wiper blades and all I went in for was an oil change. Mind you my tires have a tread depth of 5mm still... Im always happy with the work performed but the lying has to stop ed. Its unethical.

Ed has taken care of my family’s cars ever since I was able to drive (9 Years). He’s very thorough, and has always done a fantastic job with our vehicles. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to fix my car.

I dont trust them at all. They always tell you the brakes are bad and need to be changed. Last time, I found that the brakes were changed by them for the previous owner a year ago. Beware of their inspection and have someone else check what they say. Or even better, dont go there at all.

Stopped in shortly after they had closed. The employees gladly stayed late for an emergency repair on my vehicle. I am very grateful they stayed and were willing to help!

I ended up going to Midas to get my oil changed by a bit of an accident. I meant to go next door to the 5-minute oil change service, but I wasnt paying attention and turned into Midas parking lot. I decided to give them a try, and its a good thing I did. Unlike the drive through oil-change places I had been going to for quite a while, Midas lifted the car up and inspected the tires and everything underneath. They brought me into the garage and showed me that my tires were completely bare, my shocks were rusted and leaking fluid, and there was a major issue with one of the back brakes. I would have been totally oblivious to those issues if I went to the 5-minute oil change, and it could have resulted in something pretty disastrous. Ed provided me a quote for all of the parts, service, and oil change, and he was very helpful in answering my questions. Within 2 hours the guys at Midas were able to fix everything that was wrong for a reasonable price. Ill definitely be back again for my future oil change and other car needs.

Midas & Ed are trusted advisors for my family. We know we will always have good options for our vehicle repairs and regular maintenance. We will continue to send our friends & family to Ed for their car repairs. We highly recommend this Midas location.

The check engine light was on, so Midas charges enough just to hook up the scanner that I could have bought my own scanner. There really shouldnt be a charge for that, only for the actual repairs that are needed. From now on, Ill be going someplace like AutoZone to find out why the check engine light is on (it came back only a month later). On the plus side, Midas did find a few unrelated issues that needed fixed.

I have been taking our cars to Ed for at least 10 years- Ed is honest, friendly, and always has time to fit us in. Customer service is excellent at his shop. I won’t go anywhere else.

This place is a rip off!!! The person that runs the place, Ed, will come up with stories about things needing to be fixed every time you go in for a simple oil change even though nothing is wrong with your car. You will never leave the place without Ed telling you to get five other things fixed. He once recommended to get something changed on my SUV and when I checked with a car dealership about it at a later time they said that the car would not need it AT ALL during its lifetime.Once he strongly recommended wheel alignment as one of the tires was getting destroyed due to misalignment. I didnt trust him and drove straight to North gateway tire in Medina and they did not see an urgent need for wheel alignment at all and they did not see any evidence of any of the tires getting destroyed. On the same visit, I dropped my SUV off and went to the Southpark mall and that turned out to be a mistake. He called me on my cell and recommended four things to fix in addition to a nail in the tire. When I refused the four fixes he charged me $25 for removing the nail in the tire EVEN THOUGH I HAD BOUGHT THOSE TIRES FROM HIM ON A PREVIOUS VISIT. When I asked him as to why he charged me $25 for nail removal when Costco and Walmart provided those services for free on tires purchased from them he got defensive and murmured something which didnt make sense at all. By the way, I did not even have a flat tire when I brought the vehicle in. Looking back, I feel there was no nail in the tire to begin with and he made it up simply because I was at the mall. If I had agreed to those four fixes he recommended he would not have charged me for the fictitious nail and when I refused to get the fixes done he charged me $25 for the fictitious nail. Charging $25 for nail removal on a tire purchased from him, even if it was real, is UNACCEPTABLE.The people who wrote good reviews are either paid artists or friends of Ed who are trying to help him stay in business as he simply doesnt have returning customers because he is a scammer.Also, whenever my wife went in to get an oil change done he would come up with more things needed to be fixed than when I went in. On one of her visits, he recommended changing cars battery and she called me when I was busy at work. When I told her that it wasnt needed he made her call me again insisting that battery needed to be changed and just to prevent more phone calls I okayed it. Now, I feel that probably want needed either.I feel he takes advantage of you if you drop your car off and leave the place or if a woman goes in with her car.The best thing to do is to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE as Ed will try to make the most out of every visit of yours by stealing your money. He doesnt know how to build customer loyalty. If he was honest with me I would have taken my two cars to him for the next 20 years as I bought a house in the area. Now, I will neither take my cars to this place and will not recommend this place to anyone.I hope Midas wakes up to this as this is clearly tarnishing their reputation and I dont think I will ever take my car to any Midas in the country due to concern for being scammed.

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Midas in strongsville for years now.Ed and his guys know my name they are respectful and great group. I go in get my car done fast and right and have never had an issue.I used to work near this store which is why I now always use it. It was in the evening I had just got off work and my car would not start .I walked over there and Ed was JUST closing up. He had worked all day but took his OWN time to take me back over to my car got it started and got two VERY HAPPY customers for life.

Manager, Ed Geovich, was rude and arrogant when I presented a valid Midas coupon. He would not honor it; said his dad owns that shop and its a franchise so theres no corporate number I can call to complain. The coupon was for a free oil change with any service. He told me Im not getting something for nothing at his shop.
