The customer service at this company is poor as they promise delivery dates to get a sale then do not communicate to you when they are going to be missed. We have experienced this twice already as the Boston Interior Rep has not communicated extensive delays on 2 different occasions, we had to call ourselves to get a status. In each case we are given a myriad of excuses, however the reality is there is no excuse for poor communicating especially since we were very clear on our need for a specific time period.I would suggest to be very careful with this company as the appear to do a bait and switch sales process that hurts customers.

I bought a sofa from the warehouse for a little over 1k for the formal living room. I didnt notice the defect (sagging and creaking) until the pandemic as I never sat on it much to notice. Thankfully, I bought the 5 years warranty, which the sales person talked me into at the time of the purchase and I thought it was a good idea. Sadly, Guardsman is the company I bought the warranty with. Of course, when I called Boston Interiors about this issue I was told its not their problem to solve, which is understandable. Guardsman is even worse to deal with! The process for filing a claim is difficult and must be done manually (print the claim form, fill it out, and SNAIL mail it). ITS 2021! I think the intent is to keep the process old school and painfully to deter people from filing service claims and continue to make them RICH.

I am a big fan of Boston Interiors and have purchased many pieces of furniture over the years that we love there--the pieces that you just dont ever want to part with--really beautiful and high quality. Our most recent experience was very different, though, as we were furnishing an entire room. We worked with Cassondra, store manager and designer in the Stoughton store. She has such fantastic intuition and style, and was able to help us come up with a layout based on the furniture that we liked, and creatively brainstorm alternatives, fabric choices, shapes, flow, you name it. We are so grateful to her for helping us through this process. I should add that we are kinda picky, and she was able to thoughtfully respond to our needs, special requests, etc with ease. We have always depended on Boston Interiors for individual pieces, but they really excel at helping you scope out and design an entire living space.

I have been a loyal Boston Interiors customer and have furnished most of my home with their furniture, but am incredibly disappointed in the way this issue has been handled. I reached out to Boston Interior for help with a rusted headboard (this is in a guest room and I clearly had not looked closely in a while and was STUNNED to see the rust!). I received an email from Amanda that let me know that the manufacturer warranty had expired long ago and that this has never been an issue for others. That was not helpful or supportive. For the record, my friend bought a nearly identical headboard from JC Penney a year before me for much less and hers looks great! I reached out to Amanda again asking for guidance on how to remove the rust (you can see I made an attempt in one pick but the rust began to bleed onto the fabric!). No response. I had even let her know I was in the market for a new living room set and desk, but that this experience gave me great pause. Amandas lack of interest in helping me has soured me on Boston Interiors. Heading to Bassett, Circle Furniture, and Jordans this weekend to look for new furniture.

The sales experience was fabulous with Sara Thompson! She was courteous, very helpful, knowledgeable but gave us space without being pushy or hovering yet when we needed her, as busy as it was, she made herself available. She handled it all in stride! Then, the delivery experience was above expectation! Courteous, neat, respectful and patient! And, they spoke English! The young men were also neat in appearance and dress which is unusual today! I especially liked the red shirt with matching red shoes, very stylish young man and a great personality! Way to go, Boston Interiors! You are welcome in my home anytime👍

We had a great experience at the warehouse sale. The one rug we hoped to find was marked, “sold”. Fortunately as we were checking out, Sharon checked to see if there were other rugs in stock. Lo and behold two in the back! We bought both. Sharon made our experience so successful.

Bought a large dining table which we love at reasonable price. Got a great deal on a set of dining chairs in the clearance section, but that was lucky. Have returned to the clearance section since without the same success. Shipping can add quite a bit to the cost if you dont have a truck to pick it up yourself. We usually start our search here when looking for new furniture.

We recently purchased a sectional couch with Amy in the Stoughton store. She was WONDERFUL!! So helpful and patient working with us to find the perfect couch to compliment our room. We did end up having a minor issue and Amy along with Cathy solved the problem immediately. We could not be happier with the outcome. We have purchased a good number of items from Boston Interiors and they are always our first choice when buying furniture! The showroom is beautiful and again, Amy is the best!!

I did a special order for a sectional sofa 6 weeks ago. They said it would be ready and received in 4-6 weeks. The sofa is finished and ready in a warehouse but they are not delivering it till a week and a half more because they said there is no truck coming to my area before. I paid for delivery, IT IS NOT FREE! And they are telling me that I will have to wait almost two more weeks because of their convenience. Really bad customer service.

Given a request to match a discontinued fabric& chair style with my current family room furniture previously purchased at Boston Interiors, all sales staff and particularly store manager in Stoughton were very helpful and efficient, assisting me in securing the very best price for the chair I needed to complete my room. Ordered a table and chairs and was very excited (Marietta). Delivery was made during renovation so I did not have much time to really inspect the table. BIG MISTAKE! I couldnt help noticing at first that the distressed white legs looked dirty and smudged, not distressed. I actually tried to clean them up. No luck. I then noticed that the distressed top was extremely distressed with very little finish. Also there were huge knots that were about 1/2 inch deep. If liquid gets in I will never be able to get it clean, it would puddle.The ultimate deciding factor was when I ran my hand across the top and got a huge splinter. Someone could get really hurt not to mention ruining clothing.I called the store in Stoughton and was told there would be a pick up charge unless we brought it back ourselves, we had already paid a delivery charge. The ultimate insult was when I was told we could not get our money back and would be issued a store credit. They sold us a defective product and get around it by saying that tops vary, however the floor model was beautiful. The clerk actually said they had to replace it to make it more presentable.We are to receive a $150.00 rewards credit, a July promo, which I am still waiting for and it has been eight weeks since the purchase.Luckily we found another dining set that we really liked. However, it was back ordered until mid September. We got a call that it was in early two weeks ago but we could not get it until September 4 because they only come to our area once every two weeks and their truck was full on that Friday. There is an additional delivery charge of $99.00.Well I am cautiously excited and hope our new set is satisfactory, I will inspect it closely.Boston Interiors is a beautiful store, however, we feel that we were treated unfairly. Really inspect your delivery before the drivers leave. Reject any item you are not pleased with and send it back. A store credit will be issued if you accept it. A issue we did not fully understand.We will probably never return and have been treated far better elsewhere.

A one star is actually too high a rating!!!!I have always bought furniture from Boston Interiors and been happy with the company. My recent order, however, has been a disaster! The coffee table came gauged, they said it was just distressed but they replaced it. The one they replaced it with was gauged too, again after calls with them stating these were not distress marks but human made, they replace the coffee table again and assured me they would look at it before they delivered the 3rd table. They did not look at it and actually sent me the 1st table again with the gauged filled in with brown....it looked worse patched then the original gauge. BI insisted it was a different table but the gauge marks were so distinctive, and I had pictures to prove it, they finally replaced it. The 4th table they did inspect and it was fine.Additionally I ordered extra sunbrella fabric for couch and the material that arrived was NOT sunbrella and was the wrong fabric. They argued with me that it was the correct fabric until they looked at an enlarged picture of the 2 fabrics and admitted it was not even close. They reordered the fabric and it just arrived and while it is sunbrella, it is the wrong color! This has been such a horrible experience with this organization that I cannot imagine EVER ordering anything else from them!

Staff was great.We had bought a night table, color not in stock, so special order. Came in quickly (4 wks vs predicted 6-7) and color looked awful in the room after we picked it up. Lovely salesperson at Natick, who agreed to order the lighter gold oak one that I thought it came in. It was in stock at the warehouse, so we went to return the original and get the gold oak one.They have the one we returned in stock (“we stock this one”), and the new one was the exact same color as the one we were returning (my husband was smart enough to open the box). Turns out there isn’t a gold color at all. And the one we bought was in stock.We picked out another one. We just want to be done w this.I have bought a lot over the years at BI, great staff.I think you are fudging things- nothing is in stock, almost everything is a special order (more expensive, and we give up money when we return). And no service recovery.My fault I picked out the wrong color, but person who ordered the replacement clearly misguided me (and ordered the SAME one as a replacement).And no service recovery.I am happily surprised that you have a survey. A little more modern and stylish furniture than the local competitors, seemingly runs a warehouse sale of floor samples once a month. Delivery fees can be high, but unless youre willing to rent a box truck youre stuck.

Had a terrible and worst experience. I have purchased a dining table little over a month ago. Now, my dining table has a lot of tearing off. It was $2300. I called customer service several times and they said it’s water damage and they could not do anything for my dining table. Can you imagine what water demages are with a dining table? They said It’s wood veneers and I needed to be careful. BUT, when I purchased the dining table, NOBODY TELLS ME I NEED TO BE CAREFUL BECASUE IT’S WOOD VENEERS. They were hurried up to sell the table and I was not told by sales person anything about caring the table. Finally, what they offer me exchange to floor sample model and I just saw the dining. It has a lot of scratch all over the table. I am so disapponted at their service. I have all my Boston interiors bedroom furnitures and I regret to back to there. I am not going to back to there again. I can’t take it I waste $2300 dining table for just using a month.
