I just got a unit here September 2019 ago from writing this. So far so good, Cindy helped find me a unit that works great for me. I brought my own lock, however I had to come back with a slightly smaller one because the unit only accompanies certain locks. The lock I ended up bringing is still more than sufficient and I could always add a second one as there are two holes for locks. It’s a good idea to take a close look at the unit if you plan on bringing your own lock.The unit looks clean and the light works. The foot handle at the bottom of my door is missing, but Cindy said they should be able to replace that. I can still open and close the unit with ease. I noticed they have some cameras, which is good, maybe one was offline when I glanced at the monitor. I haven’t visited at night yet so I don’t know how the lighting is for nighttime. They do appear to have vermin traps so hopefully no mice or other critters make their way into my unit.Thanks again Cindy.I will update this review should anything need to be changed.

Jodie was amazing! Having problems with my lock and she went above and beyond to help me. She was very personable and pleasant.

I have been renting from Public Storage for a few years now. Jodie has been there from the begining and has been awsome to deal with. She has always answered questions, concerns and helps with any problems I may have. If PS had more employees like her, the company itself would be better.

Two days ago, I rented a storage unit from this location, and the process was really smooth with the help of the clerk, Jodie who did show a professionalism and assistance in explaining all the details and did show me the unit and offer other options available at that time. Smooth rental experience and friendly staff. The prices are competitive as well. There was a discount when I did my initial registration online. So far I feel pretty good about the security and the overall cleanliness and easy access. They have a gate that requires an access code provided at time of rental.~ JTC ~

Last week I stopped in to pay my rent and about a hour later I got a phone call from Jodie that I over payed and that two hundred dollar bills had stuck together. what a wonderful person she is to call me and return it.Thank you Jodie so much.

I needed a storage unit quick and fast and was short on funds. Jodie and Dee were quite helpful. Jodie took the time to explain the products in lobby too. I found extra boxes which I needed at a very low cost. I appreciate Public Storage. I will be back.

Jodie was so helpful to me even giving me a refund when a mistake had been made if I’m ever going to need a storage unit again I would want Jodie taking care of it.

Andy was super friendly and very accommodating. I had a huge moving truck so he made sure I had easy access to a unit. Andy was also fast and explained everything in great detail so that I wasn’t confused about anything. The prices are always reasonable and the customer service is outstanding.

I have been and public storage for now for six months at the Sterling Heights location and Everytime I go in to make my payment Jodie is always smiling and happy to greet me. I feel my belongings are safe and secure and I’m very comfortable with their staff!

When you decide to do a home improvement project, you have to figure out what to do with all the stuff you have that gets in the way. So in looking for a solution I discovered Public Storage. Their month to month rental as well as the pro rated fees was a big plus. Nina and Nate were the reasons I chose this particular Public Storage location. Nina called me before and after my move in date to see if I had any questions. My specific request was met with a no problem we can do that. When I got to the facility on move in day, Nina took me to the unit I was renting while Nate, bless his heart, took care of all the paperwork. This made the process go smoothly and quickly. I feel comfortable my belonging are safe and dry and when this project is finished, I will definitely use this Public Storage location again for the next project.Updated: 9-24-15With our home improvement project completed it was time to pull our stuff from storage. I called a couple days before I arrived to notify them. When I arrived Nina (bless her heart) recognized me from my move in and was ready with all the paperwork to close out the storage unit. She was friendly and made sure I was happy with my stay at this facility. We had such confidence in the safety of our stuff we actually stayed 3 months longer than we needed to. For anyone looking to rent a storage unit whether it be for a short term project or a long term solution, this is the place to go and Nina will take good care of you.

Came in today to get some pricing on different sized units, Jodie took me out to see each I asked about and told me all about the property I am very pleased to say Jodie has made me feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable- she even showed me which supplies I’ll be needing during my move. Went to rent a unit from Cindy. She was amazing and told broke down the price for us. Very helpful!

Though store manager had messed up my reservation, Cindy and Quaza have been helpful to let make another reservation right away. Ended up paying $6 more each month because of the mess up. Apart from that, its a clean and good amount of space to serve my purpose.

I travel a lot, so I make payments wherever I happen to be at. I went to this store to make my payment for next month and Nina was just so pleasant. She was very nice and made my day! Thanks Nina for doing such a great job! If I am ever in this area again and need to make a payment, I will be coming here for sure!

It’s a great place!

I was in on December 30th to rent a storage unit and spent time talking to Jodie. She is very good at her job and went over everything with me. She suggested many items for purchase, but at end of the year the purse strings are tight! Overall all great experience and thank you again Jodie for all your help.

My wife and I got this unit to store our basement while we were building a new house. Everything was fine. Then she passed away, I had her bank card canceled and the auto payment did not go through one month. After 15 days they took my lock off and installed their own. They were going to put it up for auction after only 15 days late. I never got a call about being late and have never missed a payment in 12 months.I can not get into the unit because my name is not on it, hers is. I gave them the death certificate but that is not enough, I continue to pay because it has personal items in there that are my wives, but I am unable to get to them.They have the worst customer service then any place I have been to before, Taco Bell is better then this company. All the way to the manager are bad. Will never deal with this company again once I move out.

Rented at this location today and Brenda was such a great help. I had my 3year old daughter with me and Brenda was such a big help with her. She loved the golf cart ride. So thankful it was such a great experience.
