This pilot is the best! I love the 2 cats that they take care of!!! Great people, it really brighten up my day, thanks!!!!

The staff is friendly, the store is clean, the Arbys is good food. The lot is clean but small. This Pilot has a relaxing atmosphere, especially the walkway to the store . The cats are a plus, corporate, please get rid of the cats!! They are an asset to your truck stop!! I want to come back to this truck stop to see them.

This use to be a good place to stop. I’d rather go to loves now. No food. Restaurant is closed. Not clean. Staff ignores you. It’s not worth stopping here anymore.

One star is way to much. No food at 5am. Just some sandwiches for $5+. It was disgusting and not worth it. Next time I will stop at loves bc they have some hot dogs, burritos and a McDonalds the whole night long. No working internet. Not even the prime. Driver appreciation month? Yeah they care 🤣

I reserve shower at the Night Shift and there’s two cashiers and No one cleaning The shower and I’m a pilot member and they was having a conversation together and there’s no one at the store and the lady her name Deborah or zebra I don’t know she kick me out the store and asked me to leave because I asked them to clean one of they showers because I reserve it from the mobile app and they put a sign on the door it says no showers maintenance problem whatever it says I don’t recommend to go there and they treat you like you’re a dirty trucker person

If bobtail skip this one unless you are an inconsiderate person who takes up full size spaces. They dont allow bobtail in the automotive area despite the space available.

You know if you are not gonna have food available, you got to warn people some how, I dont drive 10 hours a day to come to a place where you espect to get something to eat and not have anything at all, let people know some how, I could have gone somewhere else

Great trucks stop. Small parking lot like all pilots but seems clean. Walk way thats covered from truck fuel island area to the store. Im not lazy so thats not a problem other drivers may complain. Nice little walk actually. They have ferrell cats at the end of the walk way and pilot gives them food. The cats were awesome to just see after a long drive. Great to see they care about the cats. Inside is clean and friendly staff. Arbys, ehh, not too impressed customer service seems poor.

Thankfully the staff was outside emptying garbage or I would not have found the entrance to get a fuel receipt. Wishing they had signs posted on where to go inside at because once you fuel it gets confusing. Its behind the fuel island down the pathway

Truckers love pilot

Ive been to Pilot on many road trips. Unfortunately this Pilot had nasty restrooms, personal and family members experience this time. I purchased a Dunkin Donuts Hot Chocolate. Once we got back on the road, I found that my hot chocolate was nothing more than chocolate colored hot water. Needless to say Ill drive further for a pitstop next time.

Smol and poor truck stop, except cat scale and 9 diesel pumps. Construction going on, showers are down, plumbing issue. Dont count on parking after 6-7pm.

If you look in Google Maps they tell you this place is a truck stop but is not. They dont have any place big enugh for a truck to park. Theres just place for cars. So, is a Gas Station.

If you reserve a parking spot early in the day like we did and pull in after dark, dont bother complaining to the employees. Theyll tell you theyre sorry, but all they can do is refund your money. Apparently, after dark, Pilot employees are not allowed to tell people to move out of the reserved parking after dark because its too dangerous. Good way to lose a lot of customers who actually pay for their parking spot to have a guaranteed place to park at the end of their day. Never coming back to this location. Well stick to the Petro in Raphine.

There are several factors that make a business and or operation stand out among the rest especially in a day and age when most businesses such as Pilot are all the same and strive to keep it that way. The fact that the employees are completing their work with a smile and maintaining their work area is one of those factors. The second is that if an owner is taking an active approach in not only accepting the good comments, but addressing issues that are brought to light and responding to them too is commendable. Well done Pilot staff!

Our stay was great, nice, quiet parking lot. Shower was awesome, ate at Arbys. Food was hot and fresh. Great cup of coffee in the morning, Friendly staff. Nice restrooms. A lot of people complained in their reviews about walking so far. For me, after being in a semi for hours and not stopping, It felt good to take a bit of a walk. The only thing they could make it better. Is to clean the awning over the walkway. It could use a good power washing, and clean the lights.

Brendan (the manager) is awesome! Came here after loading up in Mt Crawford. I had reserved a spot earlier in the day because I knew I was being loaded late and came in and all the reserved spots were taken (someone parked there without paying) and this man walked the lot for like 15 minutes trying to find me a make a spot. After we couldnt find anything he just told me to park behind the store. Thankfully there was just enough room for me to get back there. I wish every Pilot had this great of customer service. Pilot, give this man a raise, hes an asset.

Stopped for gas and restroom break. Well lit, maintained and clean. There was a friendly well fed cat sitting next our pump which was unique.

Great clean place to stop the staff is top notch. Sad to see so many kittens abandoned. Kudos to pilot and the staff for making sure they are cared for. To all you drivers that dump your pets shame on you. Be responsible or dont bother to endanger another life.

If you are a truck driver and you come here at nite after you reserved a spot which means you are guaranteed to have a spot when you arrive well not at this one they will not make trucks move due to one of there employees for shot at for making a truck move out of reserved so if it that dangerous here why dont. You have security working and the thing is I had to fight for my refund back they said I had to call corporate to get my refund

Lots of pumps and decent parking for Virginia. Main store is behind the pumps via a small walkway. Three stars due to other drivers parking along the drive making entry and exit rough.

Actually saw management checking the rest rooms and making sure all is well. Good to see people doing there job. Best Pilot ever.

Getting into the place is interesting in a semi, but once you snake your way back in, its a decent place. Has an Arbys inside. A covered path from truck parking to the shop is nice.

I regularly book reserved parking using the app but recently needed to book three spaces for two oversize loads so they obviously needed to be together. Called the store and spoke with Melissa who was absolutely amazing. Although she wasn’t going to be there when we arrived she assured me they would cone off three spaces and if needed would move people around. When we arrived at dusk one of her colleagues was waiting in the lot for us and removed the cones so we could back in without delay at an always busy location! She also wouldn’t take any payment until we arrived so there was no fuss with that either. Thank you to all of the team at Staunton for accommodating us and making an initially stressful day end on such a high note!!

Heres An Earlier Pilot Travel Center In Staunton, VA, Their Gas Station Has Some Great Service Like Loves Travel Stop, Their Restrooms Look Very Clean And They Have Arbys Connected To Their Building.

It was good. Hot shower. Arbys. PJ fresh Foods. Nice driver lounge. Fast service at fuel desk. Nice little pathway for small walk to stretch legs. Pleasant area. Lots of parking. Kind and professional staff.

As far as truck stops go this one was a clean one staff is friendly and courteous coffee was fresh they had hey coffee attendant that kept the area clean and stocked it was busy but it was also the morning hour it was a good place to stop relax for a little bit and as busy as it was the restrooms were kept clean as well

I like this pilot truck stop because there arent to many signs on the highway to bring you here, so theres always 1 or 2 spaces to park your truck, take a shower and eat, they have fresh good coffee and a very friendly and polite people working at this place. ..

Nice travel center with fast food restaurant, convenience store that sells food and clothing. I wish the tops had price tags on them because I was interested in buying one or two but I did not feel like asking the cashier and my husband was ready to go.

Pilot stations always have a variety of fresh hot coffee.They have a large selection of cold drinks too. You can get hot or cold food here as well.They carry travel needs such as toiletries, cold medicine and fever reducers.I will make it a point to find a Pilot station because they have clean restrooms and most have showers too.You can also find souvenirs, hats, clothing and jewelry.If you are in need of walkie-talkies, they can be found here too.The staff is always friendly and helpful.I give them a thumbs up for service and variety.

Great place to stay the night if you have to sleep in your car, very safe. Also they have great coffee and snack options.

The fueling and parking for tractor trailers seems a little odd. It is disconnected from the main store, the only way to get to the store is by a walkway that is covered by an old aluminum awning that is great for spiders! Suggestion, if the awning is there for safety in keeping drivers from falling into the cesspools on either side, keep it in that area, remove it so we are not confined all the way to the door. Also, coffee supply was critically low (two thirds were empty) at 7am. Womens restroom was filthy (piss on seats) the night before and the morning after.

A very interesting truck stop. Youve got a small lot for the overnight parking of trucks, but literally none for the truckers needing to take their 30 min break. This explains why the pump area looked like a bad big rig rodeo. Service inside both the Arbys and Pilot itself were very slow. Unfortunately, this causes more issues in your lot above.One cashier stood behind the desk and just stared at the line of customers wanting to check out. Slow as molasses in January. Hoping the Loves opens soon next door, because if pilot is my only option, Ill wait until the next truck stop the next trip.

Like all other truck stops, its heads above your typical gas station. The staff was top notch. Curteous, attentive, and quick.Thought about deducting one star because several stalls on the mens room were stopped up and they didnt seem to be aware of it. However, as soon as I told them, they were on it.So 5 stars for promptness! Also a reminder to customers, the staff can only help if you let them know! Dont just assume they know and dont care.

Multiple items you may need or want are available for sale - almost like a small grocery store. And the restroom was pretty clean too.

A few times My wife and I stopped in on our trucking to Chesapeake Bay area, picked up some snacks and saw the cats she loves cats we have several with all the people and the natural hunting areas they will be well fed she gave them some of her pizza she said next she come she is bringing some cat food I stop here a lot too. it is a safe area and clean

Nice place,tho store not busy there was no fresh coffee, the hot dog stand was about empty.the mens restroom lacked paper towels. The service was good tho. Cashier very friendly.

Typical Pilot. Nice exercise for truck drivers. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Well lit covered walkway from truck parking. There is the typical Pilot/Flying J hot food deli as well as an Arbys. As of July 25, 2017 there is construction along the entrance road and trucks were parked on both sides of the road making it impossible for two trucks to pass side by side. Thats the reason for 4 out of 5 *s.

Busy center. Better prices on gas with Good Sams discount, but watch out for $$$ on premium. Center has reasonable selection of fast foods, drinks, groceries, car and truck accessories. Clean restrooms with showers. Friendly staff.

Pilot center is always clean, prepared for your every need, employees very friendly, and they are great about constantly rewarding their customers who sign up for a reward card (its free to sign up) with daily free give aways such as 20oz sodas and more.

Just wanted to say I wanted a whole pizza and there was a guy that was bringing food up named James he helped me get a whole pizza to go and he did it fast and was kind and had manors Unlike a few others that was behind the register watching me look without asking if I needed anything and the pizza was great!!

I dont live far from Pilot but today I accidentally locked the key to my vehicle inside. I went in and asked if they had a something to unlock a car. Another customer directed me right towards the kit and explained how to use it before he had to leave but then an employee went past me and my sister and said he was going to check if they had one in the back- they didnt but thats fine. We purchased the kit and the employee(Red) came out and spent almost 20 minutes to open the door. He was very very helpful and very nice!! I dont go to pilot often but the customer service there is amazing!

Everyone is friendly, they have a cool coffee machine that grinds the beans as it makes you a cup of coffee.

The staff was friendly. The gas pumps were a bit slow due to cold, but thats to be expected. The restrooms were clean and well-kept. They have a good selection of snacks including vegan ones for those with dietary restrictions.

Stopped to get fuel as quick as possible due to my hours running low, needed a receipt........yeah there went the quick as possible. They have the trucker section stashed away out back. The lot is on the smaller side, trucks just park everywhere and it gets rather difficult to get to the fuel islands.

I stop here because my daughters loved the stream and the local kittens, when they rode with me years ago. If it werent for my memories, this place wouldnt see my truck.Today is typical - I order a combo at Arbys, and the cashier has to be reminded to give up the cup. The Pilot fountain is completely barren of all cups, except the 1/2 gallon cup that needs a jigsaw and duct tape to fit in my cup holder. The shower was clean, and water was hot.A bit over half of the employees seem to care. The rest really should find another line of work. It would be one of the better Pilots if they could fix that.

The parking for semis is a little different, but the gentleman cleaning the showers made this place worth coming to. He had a fantastic attitude and offered an extra towel to me. I tipped him, I like to tip all people that go above and beyond
