In the past few months service has really gone downhill. I have had several issues with getting refills on time, even when I call ahead of time and warn them that my medication is time sensitive. Now when I call, the main pharmacy person is very rude and not helpful. I had a prescription that was set to auto refill and instead of offering to fill it, she told me I hadnt called in, said it wasnt on auto refill and then when I tried to ask her about setting it back up for auto refill, she just told me it would be ready today and hung up on me. Im definitely going to be switching to another pharmacy.
I have been waiting over 2 weeks for their truck to be unloaded so I could get my lash princess mascara, today I went in and an associate named Cindy went above and beyond to dig out the product I wanted. She made my day!! Thank you Cindy!!!
For over a year now I have stayed with cvs because it’s close to home and easy for me to get to. Over this year it has always taken days to get my perceptions. This one now has drawn the line for me. It’s been over 6 days and it’s still not ready. When you call they are rude and half the time they hang up on you. I have never seen such poor service in my life. They don’t deserve the 1 star I had to give them.
The pharmacy staff are terrible. They treat you like you are stupid and have an attitude with people first thing in the morning. The information is misleading for vaccinations since they say walk-ins. However, they do NOT do walk-ins. You have to make an appointment and can only make an appointment by going online apparently. They will not allow you to make an appointment in the store. Very disappointed and not a great start to the day.
Go to a different pharmacy if you can. I hate CVS. I thought it was just one store that had poor customer service in the pharmacy but it’s every single one I’ve been to. Don’t ever believe what they say to you. Especially with dates and times medication will be ready. They always give the wrong information. Especially with this location. I’ve made numerous pointless drives because they give the wrong date. I genuinely think they will hire anyone. I’m having to stand here for an hour AGAIN because they gave me the wrong time.Thank you pharmacy staff for being so consistent in making things more inconvenient than necessary and for always having such poor customer service skills. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love the staff! Always friendly, have built a great rapport, and they’re helpful. If you work the app and coupons you can get good deals! Pharmacy always busy, but come on! Let the people do their job and be polite, they’re human.Nice neighborhood store
No matter what prescription you are picking up, never expect it to be ready when they tell you that its ready and to come get it because it will not be ready, they will make you wait for another half an hour to an hour if not longer while they rush to put it together because of whatever excuse they decide to come up with on the spot. It doesnt matter if the prescriptions been sitting here for a day, A week, or a month, it will never ever ever be ready when you get there to pick it up.
I came to the Churchville Avenue CVS in great pain to pickup an emergency prescription for shingles. We had confirmed that the Rx was filled and ready because the pharmacy is a 45 minute drive from our home.We arrived at the drive-through several minutes before closing. The pharmacist and two technicians had closed early and explained that they close according to the wall clock. This in spite of the fact that we all had cell phones showing the correct time. The pharmacist in particular was rude and made it abundantly clear that my pain and the actual time made no difference to her. Both techs knew they had closed early, but took no responsibility, saying only that it was up to the pharmacist.
This evening I was patiently waiting in the pharmacy drive-through line of CVS on Churchville Avenue in Staunton when the car in front of me pulled away. As I was pulling up to the window the technician looked right at me and closed the grate to lock the window. It was right at 8 o’clock when the car in front of me pulled off despite me having waited in line for nearly 10 minutes. I understand the pharmacy closes at eight but I never received a call to tell me that my daughter’s prescription was ready (the doctor just called it in this evening close to five when we left his office). My daughter needed this antibiotic for her surgery taking place tomorrow. I pulled around and went in the main entrance where I spoke with a pharmacy technician who told me there was nothing she could do because the system automatically shut off at 8 o’clock. This response was completely unbelievable due to the fact that systems don’t just shut down unless they’re queued to do so by the person operating them. I tried to speak with the store manager and told him that I needed to get an antibiotic for my daughter’s surgery from the pharmacy but was told they couldn’t help me. He did not even respond with a single word but simply just shrugged his shoulders and stared at me. Completely unprofessional. I pray that my daughter doesn’t become more ill without this antibiotic that she was supposed to get prior to surgery.
This CVS needs corporate intervention. Literally every month there is an issue with my prescriptions being filled. Whether its being alerted that the prescription is ready for pick up (and its not), or the staff not knowing how to utilize the same co-pay assistance card, it is always something. Please take your prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy needs new staff and/or management.
I just called CVS on Churchville Ave. Staunton, Va. to check on the status of a prescription that was ordered a week ago and the employee that answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. There is lack of communication from this pharmacy on prescription status as well as a very slow turntable on actually receiving your medication. When you arrive to pickup a prescription that was “ready” is not actually ready. I would highly recommend going to a different pharmacy!
I typically love this pharmacy. I have a few favorite people that wait on me. Here lately I’m not sure what is going on, but a prescription that is called in on Sunday and still isn’t ready Thursday, that is a problem. Every time I call it will be “ ready in 20 mi utes”.
Called my prescription in the other day and my husband went to pick it up for me the next afternoon at 4 pm and the pharmacy said it wouldnt be ready for another hour! Today, again, I called in a prescription at ten am and told the girl I would pick it up at 5 pm. I went to pick it up at 6:40 and it wasnt ready again! The girl said give it another hour! I am switching to Rite Aid and will never be back!!!
This used to be one of the best CVS pharmacies. Within the last few months it has become the worst I have ever been to! Prescriptions are never on time when they are supposed to be. We generally call in our refills and set the time earlier than we plan to pick them up and that doesnt work either. Its always the same were still working on it answer followed by 45 minutes. If I go back in 45 minutes it still wont be ready!CVS you have a problem! Fix it!
I have the same complaint as others. Have been told many times we are one week behind. Seems like poor management at this CVS. I am thinking of switching pharmacy.
I literally called this place to ask a question about one of my medicines and they hung up on me lol. i heard the phone click down too.
I have had a horrible time at this CVS location in particular. I dont recommend doing business with them at all. I had a valid prescription and the pharmacist told me that the dose I was prescribed was not made anywhere. I then had to go back to my doctor and get a lower dose. I did just that and looked up the dosage and there it was under Lortab. They then told me that I must wait an hour for it to be typed up. I waited in the next parking lot as others were filled as they waited. I guess you must know them to be helped.
A nice drug store with very friendly staff. They accept most insurance and drug plans. The selection of merchantdise is pretty good in most areas and the prices are OK.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with theyre going to keep on running this way until someone dies because they couldnt get their prescription.
The pharmacy is horrible always rude, always a wait, (most of the time days) always a excuse... we are short handed, the computers are down, the pharmacist just got back blah blah blah
Worst cvs ever! The manager doesnt care about the customers. Waited in the drive-thru for 40 minutes, the second lane which is almost out of service any other day was open but no one knew. The cars were wrapped around the store waiting. I called and talked to the store manager and he acted like he didnt care .Walgreen here i come!
I live in Houston, TX. My daughter was up there visiting with family. She needed a prescription filled. I chose this pharmacy as it was listed as a participating provider on the website for my insurance. The person on the phone was extremely rude and told me that the numbers werent right. I read the numbers from the card to her and know the card is valid as I just used it for her. She was extremely rude to the point that I would not recommend anyone going there as I am not sure they would even be able to explain anything to anyone about their medications. She said i have to see the card. I said maam i live in houston tx that is not an option. How much is the prescription without insurance. She says 11 dollars. Why would you not just tell my mother that and let her just pay cash for it. No need to be so rude. I have never encountered someone so rude in a pharmacy
Ive honestly never had a good experience at this location in the last four months. Pharmacy staff has always been moderately unfriendly, and filling my prescriptions is often an exercise in futility. Today was my final straw when they couldnt seem to find the script for my daughters antibiotics two hours after it was submitted. I called her doc to have the script resubmitted to the Rite-Aid/Walgreens in Verona (where it was received immediately and will be ready for pickup in just a few minutes).Go elsewhere, if you can. I hear better things about the CVS on Barterbrook, near the Goodwill.
Usually alright. Pharmacists are snobs. Dont try using the consultation counter, theyll sneer at you if you dont know quite as much as them when you ask a question.
Instead of advertising free flu shots everywhere, maybe they could make it clear that they only have the shot for seniors.
While the store is very clean and convenient, some of the pharmacy staff can be impolite and demeaning to the elderly. That said, the cashiers in the store are very helpful and polite.
Decent general store and the pharmacy is neat
Like every other CVS. Ok prices, but convenient.
Bad customer service Ill be going to Walgreens
Love the staff here
This place always fills me up with Doritos and Reeces peanut butter cups
Ive been picking up here for almost 2 years and have yet to have a good experience. Such poor service.
Clean but pricey
New CVS
Prescriptions are never ready and to top it off, the pharmacy change plan. I used to have them at Walmart but never had a problem, I prefer Walmart a thousand times than CVS ...
