The employee who helped us was great! She figured out the issue with the battery terminals and found the part we needed, cleaned the corrosion off thoroughly and installed the new hardware. Gave us advice. She was very helpful. Thank you so much!

We went to have a tail light changed and the employee was very knowledgeable and friendly. He changed the tail light but also showed us how to do it just in case we needed to do it again. Overall I recommend this place.

Very helpful! I went to Walmart to get a rear wiper for my Jeep and the wiper blade, the what I call magic book of wiper blades, said would fit did not. I returned the other blade to Walmart and went to AutoZone where they actually let me go out and put the wiper blade on my Jeep before buying it so that I didnt have to buy something that didnt fit my vehicle. Excellent customer service. And their magic book was accurate so that always helps too!

I typically try to go to AutoZone vs advance, but on Wednesday my wife went to pick a battery up for her jeep, I told her exactly what battery she needed and had the link of it on autozones website, well she got there and the guy (bigger guy with piercings) sold her the wrong battery and told her it was the same battery, she needed and agm battery and was sold a efb battery, so I ended up going in to return battery and get the correct one which was out of stock, he continued to argue with me about the batteries claiming they were same, Stuarts draft had the battery in stock, long story short I ended up taking battery to draft to exchange it for the right one, come on AutoZone train your guys better to atleast know the difference between a agm and efb battery, and to not sell something to someone just because what they want is out of stock

Duralast parts are top notch an offer great warranties but some items like oil are a bit over priced.

I went to AutoZone in Staunton do you have my battery checked. I was a first time customer at this particular store but I was treated like I was a regular. The folks were very kind and efficient and my battery was tested and replaced as needed very quickly.

I had a great buying experience in Staunton store. Passenger headlight needed replaced. It was dark and didnt want to drive without it. Have a Prius and on the passenger side was minimal space to work. I googled how to and video required removing parts. I figured since there was a good amount of time I would need to work I would wait till morning when there was light. Well Ben the store manager had other idea. To my surprise, he replace the bulbs in a few minutes. Thank you Ben and autozone staff for your sevice, much appreciated.

The store manager Ryan was really outstanding today. I needed to get a new battery for my Ford Escape. After watching a YouTube video on how to change it, I knew that this was not within my own capabilities. We went to Auto zone and bought our new battery which Ryan installed for us in record time. I myself am a store manager so I understand the challenges of running a store. Ryan took the time to wait on us and give us excellent customer service while still running the business. Ryan, you were great! Thank you for your kindness today. We will be returning to you for all our automotive needs.

This store has come a long way in a short time! The new manager has more energy than the Energizer Bunny himself to keep the store humming like a Singer, but Ive been in there 3 times over the past 2 months and the customer service was over the top superior every time! This last time... I went in for high beams. The manager intercepted the bulbs from the package on the clerks way back up to the counter and had them replaced and was cleaning the oxidization off my headlights when I returned to my car (and nobody was in line in front of me). Keep up the good work!

All of our lights went out in our car. So we went to Advance 1st and they wouldnt even come out of the store. So we went over to AutoZone and Ryan help us. He check all the lights and even changed a few and then he check the fuses and replaced 1 and fixed the car. Ryan is an amazing company man and went above to help get our car fixed. I will make sure to go back to him again. Great customer service.

As far as getting the parts you need, theyre standard and have just about anything - especially as one of the only options available in Staunton. But expect a long wait, because theres only ever one person at a register. Ive seen two every now and then, but if thats the case, one will be working on something else. The employees there do their absolute best, but it seems like corporate doesnt pay enough attention.

Good selection

First I have been in there and I had a hard time finding what I needed on the shelf and I asked where it would be at instead of showing me they just stood there. And when I went to go pay for my stuff and I had the right part the person decided to take a upon himself to go get other one with out letting me know what he was doing and then come to find out it was the wrong part. So now I have to go back in there and get my money back.

Stopped in for new wiper blades today for wiper blades for a 1975 Lincoln.Ryan the store manager spent at least a half hour working with me to find blades to accommodate this old car. All the employees I dealt with in the store were very friendly and helpful as well. I will now use this store as my main source for my automotive needs because of this experience.

I went in and this guy had a positive energy when working that was contagious to other employees and to customers. He bent over backwards to help others, made sure customers were happy, and when my turn helped me change out front and rear bulbs, going way beyond any service Ive had in 35 years as car owner buying parts. Turned out it was store manager, Ryan. Hes my part guy for all of my vehicles!!

Ive been to many Autozone locations all over the country. I have never been to a bad one, but this Autozone in Staunton is a cut above. The staff in professional and knowledgeable, and they always are helpful in finding exactly what I need to get my car fixed right the first time!

Autozone has the most professional, helpful people of any auto parts store I know.This morning I needed to someone to check my fluids because I wasnt quite sure the levels. A tech there by the name of Ben was super cool! He came right out to help me even showed me the lines and notches where the levels should be. I was so pleased with Larry at the Richmond Rd location for Auto zone. I was in and out in under 15 minutes with a new battery in my 2009 Ford Ranger. Larry was kind, polite and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend seeing Larry at the Staunton Auto Zone.

I went in to get a headlight to attempt the change myself. The woman at the counter was incredibly helpful and offered help but understood I wanted to try on my own. She was absolutely FANTASTIC.The main issue I had was with Ryan, the store manager. He was the one who ended up helping me. I am not over exaggerating when I say the man called me “sweetheart” about 4 times, as well as “hun”. This condescension is exactly what keeps women from fixing their cars themselves. He whined about how hard of a fix it was when it took him 2 minutes flat. I will not be returning to this location because of Ryan and Ryan alone. Learn some 2019 manners.

Went to Autozone to order a new battery for our Nissan Versa Note. When it came in we needed to borrow a tool to reach one of the more out of the way screws. I believe the mans name was John, just came out and replaced the whole battery for us. Ben (who helped us with our order) and John were both great. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
