I contacted DON just to get a quote on replacing my catalytic converters and he completely refused to give me a quote unless I bring it into the shop. He then proceeded to say he cant help me and hung up the phone call. Worst customer experience phone call Ive ever had, youre better off going to another mechanic shop that will actually help you and not waste your time.

Great job with custom exhaust and tips installed, very fair price. Only suggestion would be better scheduling as we got bumped due to they were busy and backed up. Worth the wait!

Read the reviews and thought I would try this place, but Please DO NOT go here unless its your last resort! And even then, i would advise you to spend a $ more and take your car to a reputable place. Dropped the car off at 11am for wheel alignment, added another service while there. The guy said it would take 3 to 4 hours, so i left, called back at 5pm and they said that they hadnt even touched the car as another car before me needed parts which they didnt have! When i questioned them as to why they wouldnt even call me and inform if i wanted to take my car back, the guy had the audacity to say, we never call, thats not our job,no mechanic does! WT heck??? Another veteran sitting there waitied from 8am to 5pm when i walked in to take my car back. What a wasted day, time and energy to go back and forth, for such lousy service, rude attitude and unprofessional behavior. I am not annoyed that they didnt do the service, thats fine, but have the decency to inform your customer at least!!! Fair warning, if u have the time to wait around for 4 to 5 hrs easy, for just a wheel alignment, then go ahead. If not i would never encourage anyone to go to this place.

This was my second time coming here and I’ve never had such a terrible experience. They told me the car would be ready by a couple of hours which I understood but what broke the camel’s back was Don’s attitude. The first time I went which was earlier last year Don showed excellent service. Fast forward to now, his attitude was totally unacceptable, unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. So I took mybusiness elsewhere. This place will never receive my business again. Oh yeah and a message for Don, screw you!!

Got my exhaust system here back in 08. Went in wanting flowmaster came out with magnaflow and don’t regret it.More recently went in thinking I need new brakes turned out I didn’t needed other things done and they told exactly me what needed to be done and the price to do it. With out me saying anything about what was wrong they told me exactly what I was experiencing.While it wasn’t exactly cheap, it was quality work and well worth it. They gave me my truck back and by that I mean my truck is riding like it used to, like it’s supposed to.

I have been putting off my state inspection for a while now. I found this place near my work. People are friendly and there was a short wait. I was very satisfied up until he drove my car around and put a dent by hitting another vehicle bumper. I didnt wanted to make a big deal because he didnt realized he actually hit another vehicle. The parking lot is very tight.

Came here for an oil change for the first time. I was told by Tony that its for $27 but when they finished the oil change, Don tried to scam me and said my total was $47. Thankfully Tony was there and I told him so he was able to reduce the cost, however it was still more than the said $27. Quality of work was good. Tony is a good person, however I did not like Dons attitude and his attempt to scam me put me off even more.

My car was working just fine, but had extra cash so I decided Spent $800 plus to fix my catalytic converter For my inspection. They cut my oxygen sensors then tried to charge me to fix them when they did it, after getting my vehicle (same day) alternator stop working, had to tow and push my car off freeway. Brought it back and was told things just happen... month later my car still does not run the same.... everything they touch got broke or stop working and Now I needed to pay to fix their error after they touch my vehicle.... I really don’t like you guys!

Be aware. I went in for an oil change with a $19.99 coupon from their website. When I got my bill it was $28.06. Tax was $1.21, Environmental fee $.200 and a miscellaneous shop supply fee $4.95. When I asked what the shop supplies were, I was told it was for topping off my fluids. I did not ask for my fluids to be topped off because it wasnt needed except for windshield wiper fluid, which I have at home. When I got home and checked my windshield wiper fluid, it was empty, so they didnt top off anything. So if you are charged for this, make sure to check your fluids before you leave or tell them ahead of time not to top off your fluids.

Look no one is perfect.I say this because some people left bad reviews.I do my own brakes but when it comes to exhaust, this place is respectable. They have worked on a few of my vehicles and did good work for the price.

I love this place! Ive been coming here for the past 3-4 oil changes. The prices are reasonable, and possibly the only place that doesnt charge me $60-$70 bucks for an oil change because of the model of my car. The guys are nice here and very helpful. WiFi here. Military discounts here as well. Oh and dont forget to look on their website for coupons... you dont have to print them out, just tell them which discount you want and they will apply it your total. No appointments- first come, first serve. The earlier you get here the better. Going later usually results in 2+ hour wait time, as they stay pretty busy.

Awesome shop! No its not fancy, but who cares...theyve always done what they said they would. Been bringing our family cars here for the last 13 years, for everything from state safety inspection, oil changes, diagnostics, brakes, and other repairs. Honest people, Tony is a really great person, and the prices are reasonable. When they give an estimate, it is pretty spot on, never had any issues with the cost varying much from the estimate. If you go early enough in the day, you can generally be seen. Yes, you might have to wait because they do get busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, but knowing that I get no BS it is worth it. Hope Tony never retires!

Well I went in for a $480.00 job and it ended up being $1250.00. They said bring it in at 8am and it was only take a few hours. It took all day and it was my birthday. So I found out that I was not the only one. Plus they do guaranteed a work 02 25000 mile are two year warranty. I just couldnt believe it

I love this Place! Gives me peace of mind knowing I can get a free estimate from a kind, hardworking honest team. I was given a Mercedes as a gift and the brakes needed to be changed a d instead of taking my money they advised a cheaper option. Honest and great customer service.***Update***So a year ago I got my breaks changed here. Paid $300. My breaks squealed HORRIBLY. Took it back and they said the breaks they gave me were defected. They did replace my breaks but they had my car the whole day. When a customer has to return because the store screwed up, they should never make a returning customer wait. Then to make matters worse my break still squealed. They still do to this day a year later. Second, they charged me $100 for a synthetic Oil change. After price comparing, I realize Ive been played. Never going back and havent been since my breaks.

I have the brakes of all my cars serviced at this shop for a long time. This is a very honest place and for brake I only go here. Many times they said I dont need new brake, just adjustment, even when I left my car there to be checked. Most of the staff have been working there for a long time. The owner is there early in the morning and shakes hands of everyone in the waiting room. Sometime the wait is long because they have many customer. It is best to leave the car there.

The store opened 20 minutes early; I was let in. Later I was greeted by the owner, and treated courteously by everyone. It took a little while, but the garage was full at the beginning of business. I did had a muffler installed and a state inspection performed. I brought my own muffler, and they had no issue with that.

Great place and great workers. They work fast and they do it right. This is definitely my shop of choice. Highly recommend this place.

Nice professional service

They have good prices but poor welding skills. I had a O2 bung welded on an exhaust and the welds were obviously too cold. It has hairline cracks where the weld joins the metal and makes cracking sounds if I put pressure on it. I told them about it and they tried again and still the same. So I just left, no point of trying anymore. I will need to find a better welder to fix it. They look like a decent shop for simple bolt on works. But I do not recommend getting anything welded here.

Very quick and honest service. My Mazda 6 had a rusted muffler and had been making noise for a while, and I took it here to fix it. Took 5 minutes (though I waited 30 minutes but that was because it was a busy day) for Tony to cut the rusted part and replaced it and cost me only $20! Last time I did this to my other car somewhere else, it cost me $100, which I was sure I was being ripped off. Anyway, I strongly recommend this place for its honesty.

Very honest car shop, hard to find in Houston. My car went over a bump and my muffler got stuck as a result my car started rattling. Tony was able to pull the muffler back to its place. They did not charge me anything since he said it was not much work at all. I decided to tip them voluntarily for their honesty.

Ive been a frequent customer since about 2008 and cant say enough good stuff about these guys. I always trust Tony to give me honest assessments of necessary repair work and keep my vehicles in good shape. Even when I have a problem that Tony and crew cant fix, I always take it there first to get a referral I can trust.

Went there a few months back to get my resonators deleted off my 2013 Mustang GT, I made sure Tony the guy running the front desk that I wanted the resonators deleted. So u wanted an hour or 2, I expected it to be done right since it was simple so I made my way home and noticed horrible drone inside my cabin so I stopped to take a look and they completely chopped my $800 Borla axle back mufflers, completely different from resonators went back and they offered to weld them back on which was still terrible, now there ruined for good. Never again. Definitely dont recommend especially is you have high quality parts on your vehicle.

I went in for a brake job. They left my caliper hanging, dangling by the brake line. I took two pictures an hour apart with it flopping around, so it was not just for a second. shortly after having the brakes changed I have that annoying squeaking noise which I just thought the brakes needed a little time to break in. Finally I checked and it was the old pads that they put right back on my car after charging me for new ones. Because I trusted that they put new pads on there, I let it go squeaking for a while and now the rotors have damage. Shady.Edit: I cannot locate the picture, but it was since school started in August. In two months I probably have driven a thousand miles. 2000 at the most. Theres no way those were new brakes.

My VW EOS was recently taken by Garage Guys in Rosenberg for service at this company to remove the lug nut bolts. This service was required after a tire company over torched the locks during the installation of new tires. When the time came for rotation, the tires could not be removed. SW Muffler and Brake was recommended by the manager at Garage Guys and I was warned that during this procedure of that the wheels would likely be damaged. My car was there for several days longer than anticipated. When I inquired why this was taking so long, I found out that the serviceman, Tony, recognized how expensive the wheels were on this car and went above and beyond to remove the lug nut bolts without damaging the wheels. I have not met him but want to thank him for taking the extra time for this repair! I hope that the management of this company who reads this will share this heartfelt thank you with him.A grateful new customer!

Great place. i went to another place and wasted 2 days and 4 hours and they couldnt get my alignment done and these guys figured out why and had it done the same day and at a great price.

Best quality work and parts used. Never had to go anywhere else. Quality service and awesome managment had me in and out as agreed and did not try to leave me pennyless. A true mechanic shop at the best.

Did good job but dont trust their time frame, if you have any appointment somewhere dont drop your car to them at the same day. I drop my car at 8am and they told me that my car will be ready after lunch. I called and they said will be ready by 3pm. I called again at 3pm and they told me will be done in 45 minutes. When I get there at 3.45pm, still not ready. I miss my appointment because I trust them, now not anymore

Excellent customer service . I pretty much sat there and watched while they installed my new exhaust asking, whats this, what does it do, whats the pros vs cons of this, and not one time did the mechanic seem annoyed . Matter of fact they where very eager to share there knowledge and teach me what every part does. They even preformed brake fluid flush and fixed the brake travel problems i was asking about free of charge . I highly recommend this place . This is my new shop. And for the lady that gave 1 star on the account of waiting a few minutes before u where helped .note that 1: obviously its a good place if they are busy . 2: did u look for help or just sit there . Nobody was at the desk when i arrived as well . But after asking a mechanic in the garage to have somebody talk to me about my car, help was there in less than 5 minutes .The prices are half u would pay at a big name shops. To the woman with the bad review, i think you would be happier at pep boys where they have a dedicated desk guy, but i guarantee you would pay double for the same work to have a dedicated desk guy luxury . Brought in a piece of exhaust tubing that i needed custom bent. Tony took it himself right away and completed it perfectly per my instructions. Couldnt be happier.

I went there to get my shorty headers installed, when I got my truck they told me they broke 3 bolts,also they told me my new headers were possibly bad.therefore I had an exhaust leak. I paid full price. Then he told me come back with a new exhaust gasket set, he was going to charge me more for him to fix the exhaust leak which they created. So I took my truck somewhere else to get a 2nd opinion. The headers were good, they replace the broken bolts. I left their shop with no leaks. I ask for a refund from southwest muffler, they did give me some back.

Helpful and caring, not expensive either

Brought my 2011 Kia Sportage in for a oil leak, was told it was the valve cover gasket. Drove the car for a couple of days and I smelled oil fumes coming from the engine area. Checked the oil levels and it was low with a noticeable leak on the passenger area. I took the car back in the following week for them to look at, and was told they were unsure where it was leaking and to probably have the oil pan gasket changed.... Really...SMH

Got my 1999 Honda Civic inspected and 4 wheel alignment done. Tony and his team did a great job.

The shop gives it to you straight. They dont oversell you. They tell you what needs to be fixed, what should be fixed soon, and what you need to check soon.
