Been using these guys for 25 years. I absolutely love them. For regular maintenance, they will pick and drop off in the local area. When I got a problem, they are always straight with me on my options and we can have an on the level no pressure conversation on how to proceed. That kind of relationship is priceless. These guys are one of a kind, a group of great business operators you don’t see much anymore. Im actually not from Stafford, but we purchased a car from this area that was impeccably serviced by Colony One, and I sought them out to ask questions about the vehicle that we were purchasing, and I ended up speaking with Chris Hutchinson, who spoke with me like an old friend and kindly answered all my questions, even though we weren’t actually paying them for any service at all! He still took plenty of time to help me out, knowing I was two states away. It was a great feeling. Go with these guys they will take care of you!

I went in for the inspection for both of my cars. The staff were very professional and courteous. I didnt have to wait very long. The customer service was amazing.

They were extremely professional and were able to see me in minutes after arrival, fixed my truck at a fair cost (much cheaper tan the dealership) and get it back to me in less time than they anticipated. I drove from downtown out to work with them, and it was worth the drive.

Been a regular customer. I drive a 98 Mustang and diagnosis and repairs have been very good with one exception. Staff is friendly and make vehicle drop off easy. The free shuttle to and from home are a very good perk. Driver is on time and friendly. Waiting are is clean. Other places might charge less but I don want repeated trips to get repair right. I like this place.

I came here for a car inspection. They did the job good enough. The reason I rated this place 1 star is the gentleman that greeted me seemed like he had an attitude before anything came out of my mouth. I felt like he didnt want me there....I dont know what his issue was and cant say I care. All I know is if you are going to be the first person someone comes in contact with at a business, the least you can do is smile and act like you care. He didnt even ask me for any of my information, just my insurance card. This was my mothers car, so I guess he assumed what was on the insurance was my information, again I dont know and dont care. However, I do care enough to write this review. They have no worries of me ever coming back to that place, only thing I left with was a sour taste in my mouth from his lack of customer service and simply being nice.

Got a pre-purchase inspection here and they found serious engine damage. The inspection cost me $160 and saved me from buying a $9000 lemon! I think I found my new repair shop! Service was great, price was reasonable, even driving me to/from home while the repair happened. Had my radiator replaced because of a crack in it and have had no issues since. Couldnt be happier with my experience here.

This is a honest shop that does an outstanding job. I have trusted them for over three years now and have a fleet of 16 trucks (and growing)and won’t take them anywhere else for repairs or general servicing. They were nice professional and the price wasnt bad at all seeing I hit with $950-$1200 and it was on the day it broke down me and my baby. They had it up and running the next day I was shocked and gave us a ride to the house. Im definitely saving there number for the next time something or someone need help. My check engine light came on as I was running errands to get ready for our trip the next day. I took my car to Colony One just before they closed. They asked what time I needed to leave the next day and told me they would do their best to have my car ready. Kevin called at 7:55 the next morning with and update and estimate. My car was ready right when I planned to leave. They did everything to make sure I was able to keep my plans and have a great holiday despite my car trouble. The staff care about their customers and treat you like family!I have 6 vehicles that are serviced at Colony One. Service is always prompt and prices are fair. Whether it is an oil change or a major repair, you can always expect good, quick, and reliable service from the front desk to the mechanic staff. Thank you Colony One!

Go somewhere else. Dulles has many auto repair places. I have lived in the area for over 35 years. I went in with the complaint of the AC not blowing and not working. Then there was a wheel alignment problem. They said the wheel bearings needed to be replaced in the front. They replaced the blower and wheel bearings in the front. They charged me 2,084.00 parts/labor. Obviously, no one bothered to drive the car to check it to see if the A/C worked before I was called to pick it up. It never really blew cold air or heat. I needed my car. They do not supply loner cars; so I just had to wait until I had enough money to get a rental car (that I pay for). Here is what they charged: Blower resistor 158.23, New blower MTR W/WHL 179.86, Wheel Hub Repair Kit 500.00. Labor was 1,172.00, Parts were 838.31. Then an extra supplies charge (WHICH WAS NOT FREON obviously) at 20.17. I called them back immediately when I realized that the air was not working. They said yes just bring it by. However, I could not afford to drop it off because I needed my car. I could not afford a rental at the time; so I had to wait. In the meantime, I had another auto shop look at the car. They said that the COMPRESSOR needs to be replaced. Who knows if the blower actually ever needed to be replaced. How could an experienced mechanic miss this? First off, to release the car to the owner without the air conditioning being fixed. Then, not acknowledging that the compressor needs to be replaced. That would have been 995.00 dollars plus labor. It is a 2014 Mitsubishi. I told the guy when I dropped it off that it was not worth more than 3500.00. I also told him that I have very little money but cannot stand to drive it any more without air conditioning. THIS PLACE PROBABLY CHARGES AROUND A 300% MARK UP IN PARTS AND LABOR. The pandemic has left a lot of people broke, unemployed, and in dire need. Although this area has not suffered as much as some, a shift needs to take place. No one can keep pretending that we are still helping people when we do things like this. It is antiquated ideology to continue to do business like this. Every day counts. Every customer counts. If nothing else, the effects of Covid should have shown people not to take life, people, jobs and relationships for granted. I asked for my money back. Not a chance. He offered to do more work on the car! So, I am still driving around in a car without air conditioning. I cant afford a new compressor now after forking over 2084.00 dollars.

Fast, courteous and professional 1st time visit. Got state inspection.

I have a car with over 100K miles so I figured I was in store for a pretty expensive brake job. They called back within an hour and said my brakes were fine, no repairs needed. They didnt charge me for the inspection, they fixed a loose skidplate (no charge) and shuttled me to my dentist appt (no charge). I even tried to give the dude $5 and he wouldnt take it. I recommend this place to EVERYONE.

I won’t go anywhere else for an oil change, batteries, maintenance and repairs to my car. When my passenger window fell inside the door, I thought I’d have to take it to my dealership. Thankfully Colony One took care of it. With them I know they will never ever try to find other things that need to be fixed like my dealership does. Excellent customer service, too!

As you know currently we are dealing with covid. The mechanic had a mask and gloves on and you can tell he was uncomfortable but he got through it .. they were so kind and patient and professional. I am a woman and usually without my husband the mechanic tells me about sooo much work that needs to be done .. but this shop straight forward and honest .. they have a perm customer for life .. prices are reasonable .. hours are great .. give them a try .. you will not be disappointed. Oh one more thing I got an inspection and oil change I was done in an hour .. also you know they do quality work because while I was waiting they had 3 other customers they knew by name .. and one mentioned she moved to Katy .. but she still drove all the way to stafford .. I love these guys

Ive owned the car since 2013 and have had it in the Classic Chevrolet shop since Ive owned it for a variety of issues, none of which they seemed to be able to address not to mention repair. My greatest complaint was that there was no graduated acceleration. It was either slow or petal to the metal to get moving. The car would barely move with the A/C on. Neither of these issues existed this morning.Again, many thanks and appreciation. My husband was having some troubles with his car earlier last year and after calling around to several auto shops there were some very sketchy places that didnt make us feel very confident in the service and the prices were incredibly outrageous! Then my hubby found Colony One and they were different! The staff were informative, provided education on the car issue, and gave a very fair quote. After one conversation we were put at ease and they gained our trust! Weve been using them for all of our car related issues ever since. Colony is fast, efficient, and all of their staff are professional. Weve only been in this area for a year but were customers for life!

Not your typical Colony One experience.We have been going to Colony One for close to 20 years. This is the first time we have ever had an issue with their work and customer service performance.In the end they seem to have fixed the issue but It took 5 times taking it in to get it right and each time it ran worse than when we brought it in.On top of that I had to continually reach out to them for status about what was wrong with the car and when the car would be ready. They provided little if any follow up. As I said we have been going there for years and are in their system, pluss we verified 3 different phone numbers when we took the car in originally. Yet somehow they didnt have the correct phone number to contact us?They also initially messed up on the price quoted for the valve cover and wanted to charge me $600 for a $180 part. They corrected it in the end but I was a bit surprised when they gave me the total initially and it was almost double what I was expecting.Bottom line we will use them again out of loyalty, they are honest and will make it right - but this time they missed the mark on both customer service and fixing the issue.Had this been my first time using them I would have given them 1 star, but because of past experiences I have no doubt they will do better next time.

Great service, this will now be my “go to” place when I need car repairs. I needed a few minor things replaced on my car and the dealer told me they’d have to keep it for a couple days. I called Colony One and they told me to bring it in the next morning. I brought it in at 8am and it was done by noon. They didn’t try to sell me anything else or BS me into spending more more money, the price was very reasonable and I’m sure a lot less than the dealer. The front desk employee was very respectful (and cute!) and the office was clean. They were very busy but I was still able to get in and out in a few hours. Now I know why their reviews are so good, rightfully so! It’s difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, but I would definitely suggest Colony One if you’re looking for an honest mechanic!

These guys are the best of the best! I have had 2 separate issues with a used truck that I bought, a 2010 RAM 2500 6.7L turbo diesel SLT. I bought this truck to pull my very large and heavy gooseneck horse trailer with. The guys at Colony One talked me through the problems, the solution options, then did what they said theyd do, and delivered when they said they would...One repair was done in a day and the other, more difficult repair took two days. And, the cost didnt break the bank either.Javier, and the crew at Colony One Auto Center are the BOMB!

This used to be my go to repair shop. But the last time I brought my son’s car here they not only made it worse, but they left parts that were unbolted loose and I had to take it back and then when I got home I had to redo it again. Not quite something you expect.The owner is a great guy but I don’t think the quality is there anymore.

Recently stopped going to my normal shop because they recently tried to rip me off on my state inspection by telling me to replace my tail lights because of a small scratch, and my rotors and brake pads because my brake fluid was low. I topped off the fluid and brought it here, and lo and behold, it passed just fine. I appreciate a shop that is honest with their customers and doesnt try to rip them off on every small thing, and will likely be going here in the future for any other car problems I might have.

We have used Colony One for over 20 years. On three recent occasions we have taken our 2009 Toyota 4Runner in for a simple oil change and left not knowing what kind of oil was used. We have always used synthetic oil in this vehicle and at every oil change, we specifically told the service advisor we wanted full synthetic oil. However, when we received the invoices, they indicated “conventional oil”. Each time we questioned the service advisor about the type of oil used and we were assured synthetic was used. Well why does the invoice indicate conventional? I will add I have never been charged for synthetic oil when the invoice indicated conventional. I’m not sure if the problem is with the service advisor or the technician but it’s very frustrating. Maybe it’s because attention to detail is important to me. Seems like such a simple thing to get right and they didn’t on three different occasions.Update: Oil drops have been found on the garage floor since we had the oil changed last week. Looks like old oil so not sure if the technician did a sloppy job and didn’t clean up residual or what. Wasn’t leaking when we took it in.Update: Colony One asked us to bring the car back. They changed the oil with full synthetic and cleaned up the residual oil at no additional cost. I’ve changed my rating from two stars to four.

Overpriced and the rep. misquoted the repair bill. Told me $1600 one day and the $2600 the very next day. Looked up the prices on the parts on the invoice. Struts were quoted for several hundred dollars more than what I could order online. Not including labor. Tried to charge me $100 for one replacement center cap. I told them to remove the center cap and overpriced struts. Repair bill was still high, but we wont be coming back. They get two stars for being nice and quick with the repair. But I do not recommend for someone looking for an honest mechanic. Might as well get ram rodded by the dealership down the road.

First-time patron since my former auto shop changed hands. Arrived early and explained what was needed - a 30,000 mile maintenance. They said it would be no problem. Got a call later stating that a wheel alignment was needed but otherwise all was okay. Vehicle was ready when promised, work appeared to be as called for per manufacturers maintenance schedule, and wife was very impressed since the management likes to schmooze with the clientele. Cost was within expectation. Will definitely be returning as we need future service.

We brought in our SUV to get the air conditioner fixed. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly and promptly greeted by Dustin and he got us checked in right away. We were able to leave our truck as we thought it would take take a few days to find the source of the problem and get it fixed. We were pleasantly surprised when I had called and spoke with Chris that they had already diagnosed and would fix our truck and it would be ready the next day. We picked our truck up with no issues. Chris took care of us and our trucks ac is blowing COLD air! Just in time for the warmer weather! Thank you to an awesome company! There are so many good automobile service places in the Stafford/Sugar Land area, and I know because at one time or another I have brought my vehicle to many of them. However, after my first visit to Colony One Auto Center on Dulles Avenue in Stafford, Texas, I chose this as the place I wanted to bring my vehicle(s) to from then on. The staff has always been kind and courteous. Normally, I have been given step-by-step of what needs service and an estimate of the cost, and the service has been done to my satisfaction or beyond. Colony One offers a free shuttle service, and so if you cant wait for the work to be done, they will take you to your home or business. How about getting an estimate and then paying less? This probably doesnt happen often, but one one of my trips, it did. They thought they would have to replace something, but it turns out they didnt and when they told me that I would be paying considerably less, I was floored. They were honest and hadnt taken advantage of me.

Open honest and no nonsense.Helpful and easy to work with.Had a 1995 truck safety inspection done after a couple years with no problems.Used them again for an oil change and a brake inspection.Again quick reasonable and easy.My now go to for auto work.

This is the kind of company that makes me more than willing to give then my money. I have some more work to be done and I do see them being my number one choice.

I actually stumbled on Colony One Auto Center by accident but I’m glad I did. I stopped in for an state inspection. I was greet as soon as I came in. The staff was friendly and the office was clean. This is the part that I appreciate it and it may seem small to others but as a woman it was big in my eyes. When I received my keys back from the guy he put them in my hands not on the counter, my car was parked And not just thrown in a parking spot. My paperwork was put in my hand not on the counter. So those little things in my eyes would make me come back there. because I feel as though I was treated with respect and they actually appreciate it my business. I have been to a lot of businesses that I do not care to mention but I was not treated with respect. But not here and in my eyes that speaks volumes on their character, integrity and how they feel about their customers.
