Hate to leave this review but feel I want to ensure what happened to me doesnt happen to another consumer. I got this storage in the summer of 2017 when my now husband and I moved in together. We started off paying 90.00 a month and when I closed the storage last month it was up to 183.00 dollars a month. The main reason we knew it was time to close it was we had gone there to remove some items and noticed clearly part of the unit had water damage. It was dry by the time we saw it so no way to know when it happened. Went to office and was given insurance paperwork to call then directly. No knowledge of water leak at any time from the last time we where there(late April /early May) by them. Waited a few weeks to make sure there was no further damage to our things as we prepared to move out of unit. Once we were clear there was no more damage (No more than 2 weeks) I initiated the claim. A claims adjuster NEVER called back and then I get a letter in the mail denying the claim. Called the facility today and was told that we didnt take out their insurance so they have no liability. We will go through our homeowners at this point but we will now possibly have higher premiums all because of something that happen at this location!! Its upsetting that we lost most of our pictures and artwork and they either didnt know or didnt care to call us if/when they were aware of water damage issues.. My suggestion to you is to make sure you ask if the damage is the cause of/by them will you have to use your coverage or will they be a stand up business and cover it. Bare minimum tell you you are responsible for any and all damage if you dont take their insurance UP FRONT!!

The gentleman that handled my account was very nice. I searched multiple storage facilities and Metro had the best price. They were also running a 50% off for 3 months. You do have to buy a lock from them and that runs about $15

I have only had positive experiences with Metro storage and each representative that I received excellent service from. They have all been extremely professional each time, before and during this pandemic. Courtesy, professionalism and yes some have went above and beyond if and situation was brought to their attention. The place is quite clean, easy accessible and well lit location, and again with high customer service experiences. I have had a lease for over a year especially the because of the reasonable prices and promotions.Your courtesy during this time is sincerely appreciated.

Front desk is friendly. They went up on fees with no acknowledgement, in the middle of this awful pandemic. They need to be more compassionate for their customers, especially those who have been there for years and referrals.

I Had A Really Good Positive and learning experience at the springfield nj location. I Had no experience in this situation but that didnt stop me from being able to get what I needed thru the customer service of Raul Llerena. I have the flexibility to change if needed & Everything is detailed so the information is easy to understand. I Recommend them especially if Raul is working.

Good experience on my first storage unit. Minor hiccup when my autopay stopped and on 1/1/20 for reasons unknown. Maybe a system change? Staff are great though and accommodating. Would rent from them again.

Staff was very helpful in selecting a unit. Explained the policy and operations with ease. Took us on a tour To show us all the Available sizes. Storage facilities are very clean and well maintained not to mention entire housing is climate controlled.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The had a leak 2 times, and got a lot of my items soaking wet, only reason I found out was cause I stopped by within 2-3 days from when the leak had happened. No one ever called me. Tried putting insurance claim and never even got an email back.Taking my stuff out of here and never coming back.

I have been a customer for three years. Customer service is great. I never had a problem. 24hr access.

Very clean. Everything is new and sparkling clean and neat. Excellent pricing. Friendly staff.. convenient and safe access. The loading dock is shielded from the elements. What more can I ask. I brought my stuff here where our movers recommended an affordable place within an hour from the city for long term affordable storage and it cost half the price per area of my previous spot that was about 10 mins from the Lincoln tunnel.

I highly recommend this location!!! I had my items stored with a different company but from the minute I called Metro and spoke with Sandra I knew I was going to move my stuff to Metro Storage in Springfield NJ. The place is brand new, very nice, clean and secure.The price is good (even got a great 1st month deal) but overall my decision was based on the amazing customer service I received. I was promised a call back with 2 different price quotes and received within the time promised. I asked for a special unit that was being used by the contractor that is working on that site and they accommodated me as I requested. It made sense to go through the trouble of moving from the other company which has me furious because of the constant RATE change. I am so happy with my decision and I am looking forward to do business for a long time with Metro Storage.

Great place to store your items fairly priced nice and clean and its all climate controlled have big elevators to move items upstairs and have carts at the ready

Been customer 2 years in December I stop by too check on condition of stored items many collectable furniture pieces over 200 years old. I discovered massive amounts of rodent droppings and urine stains on drop sheet covers. I reported immediately to desk man who said I would have to comeback on the weekend when the manager would be in. I returned that Saturday and we all took a walk over to my unit where the manager and desk person confirmed my statement and took pictures. At that time the personal said they would call exterminator and that a week from Thursday they would call me to come by with the keys. That day came and went with no call. I stopped by the following Wednesday where I spoke with the desk person and asked what happened to the exterminator he shouted he did not show up so I asked in a fi=rm tone why he would not call me at that point desk man jumps out of his seat shouting for me to get the F--- out of there or he would call the cops. I will be moving out and doing everything in my power to let all storage renters the conditions and the total lack of professionalism. Pictures for your view
