We spent the last two weeks there and loved our stay. The owners are the nicest people and give great suggestions of places to visit in the area. The campground is clean and quiet with large sites. Trees between sites allow for some privacy too. Theres a lot of land with tons of trails to walk. Definitely recommend a stay at Tree Farm Campground! Well be back next season π
We stayed here 8/13-8/15. We used it as a place to stay while visiting our son. Beautiful campground! We loved all the trees and the state park feel. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Would definitely come back when we visit our son. The owners are very nice. I also loved all the flowers.
Wife and I stayed here for the weekend. Its a very nice, quiet, small rustic campground. Its not flashy but its got lots of charm and has a nice woodsy feel. The owners were very friendly. The sourounding area is nice. Many things to do and see within a 30 min drive or less.. We had a very enjoyable weekend all around.
We had a very nice time here, the Owners were very nice. Loved the wooded sites and the smallness of the campground. My only negative was the site we were given was very tight getting into and had to navigate an S Curve and then almost a full tight circle to get into our site. Just barely squeaked around the corner with my 28 TT. When I got home I found that I clipped a tree on my blindside getting out :(. Site 29 should be for smaller rigs? Will ask to pick a better site next time :).
This campground is such a gem! We stayed from a Wednesday- Sunday late August and found Tree Farm to be incredibly peaceful and quiet. Lots of charming hiking trails right from the campground and nice touches like a dog park. Elizabeth and Ben are wonderful, friendly hosts who have stuck the perfect balance between creating a community (with events like a chili cook-off and baked goods Sunday morning!) and relaxing seclusion in the woods.
There is nothing better than visiting the great state of Vermont.....and during FALL YALL! We discovered a small hidden gem in the woods called Tree Farm Campground.Located in Springfield Vermont, this family run campground is everything you would ever need to enjoy the local sights. Sitting in a heavily wooded forest we pulled in late in the afternoon to be greeted by the owners Elizabeth and Ben. We were guided to our site which was spacious, private, and well kept. Full hookups included 30amp service, sewer, cable, and water with decent pressure. The camp store/office is stocked with some refreshing snacks and souvenirs. Due to Covid restrictions at the time of our visit the bathrooms were not in service. The owners are are incredibly friendly and outgoing placing their campers comfort paramount. In one instance Ben delivered a crate of firewood to our campsite later in the evening which, in our opinion is going above and beyond. On the morning that we departed we were welcomed to hot coffee and freshly baked apple cinnamon bread which made the first 3 hours of our long drive home so much better.All-in-all Tree Farm Campground is absolute aces in our book.
What a perfect campground! Tucked up in the woods and family owned, doesnt get better than this! Our site and it seemed like all sites are really wooded and private. It is so quiet and peaceful I feel like you could hear a pin drop. This is by far our new favorite campground in new england!
Camped from 08/06 to 08/10. By far the best camping experience weve ever had in Vermont. Ben escorted us to our site. He saw that we might have an issue with the length of our electric and water. Provided us an extension for both.Grounds are kept clean and have tons of flower gardens. Saw so many hummingbirds here.Sites are large and private. Very reasonable rate.Every night we were so amazed at how quiet it was. The secret it out - this is the place to come to for relaxation. Were already talking about returning next year.
Beautiful, quiet family owned campground. The owner greeted us when we arrived and left us with a phone number we could call or text at any time. Well maintained grounds and very nice people.
My fiance and I lived here for three months while working travel nursing assignments in the area and we could not be more pleased with our selection! Liz and Ben are WONDERFUL hosts, always helpful and quick with a smile. The campground is quiet and calm - even with it is completely full you hardly hear a peep, this coming from people who sleep during the day. Large campsites with lots of trees all around the aesthetic is a woodland wonderland. The campground is surrounded by trails and boarders the newest Vermont State Park that is still in the development stages, but which you have access to hike around. Close proximity to Springfield downtown (we often road our bikes) where the Copper Fox and Flying Crow Coffee Co await you. We love, love, love it here, if youre considering staying in the area this place is a dream. Thank you Ben and Liz for a wonderful summer!!
We just happened to stumbled upon this little gem. Beautiful people. Ben and Elizabeth were amazing and very helpful. With maps and things going on in the state of Vermont. They had a little continental breakfast. Made made Activities and Everyone is extremely friendly. What a warm and comfortable place. Clean indoor restrooms with showers. Great getaway from the busy world of working schedules and everyday life.. Love this place will be my new camp ground.
This campground is the best family campground around. I grew up camping here and will now be camping with my own family as much as we can. Its beautiful, peaceful, and theres plenty to do. My eldest loved playing badminton and tether ball. My youngest enjoyed blueberry picking and discovering all the hidden art along the trails. The owners are the nicest people and everyone is very friendly and laid back. Theres donuts and coffee on Sunday mornings (we got lucky with some homemade zucchini bread too!). I cant say enough about Tree Farm. Its is one of my favorite places on earth!
This was our first camping experience and in our new camper. From reservations to check-in to on site, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The camp ground is clean and the sites are nice and level. We had no problem with our site. Very quite too. The kids liked d the playground and our dog loved the dog park. We will be back!
My new favorite campground. After exploring every other place in Vermont this is by far the best! It starts with breathtaking views and only gets better from there. Spacious sites. Beautiful gardens. Spotless bathroom. The hosts are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. I have already made my 2016 Summer reservations and I am sure I will be a regular for years after. I have been camping since I was a child and this place brings back many fond memories. The scent of fresh pine trees is magical. I can not say enough good about this place. Give The Tree Farm a try. You will not be sorry! I even miss the little white dog who greeted me! My new home away from home!
Tree Farm campground is by far the best place to stay. The campground is surrounded by beautiful tall pines and a nice safe family place to stay. The sites are spacious and give you plenty of room from the big rigs to a great tenting area. They also offer a nice lodge with books to read, wifi and clean showers. The family is wonderful and will help you out with anything. Cant say enough about this place! If youre looking for a perfect retreat this is the place!
There arent enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay here! If your looking to have a relaxing and quiet stay, then Tree farm is the place. As the name says, there are beautiful tall tress everywhere. Just very peaceful, as you walk along the pine needle covered roads. The restrooms and showers were nice with lots of hot water! And finally, what can you say about Ben and Liz! Two very nice people who really care about your stay and will help you in every way. We will be back in the future!Bernie, Michele, Max and Precious
We loved the campsites they give you plenty of space. The playground is also nice. We have 5 children ranging from 17yrs-20mos, and there was something for each one of them to do. This campground is very family friendly. So much so that when my husbands brother came to visit he decided to come with us next time!!!
Clean campground. Would recommend.
Spacious wooded sites. Super helpful hosts really know the area. Loved walking into Muckross State Park from the campground. Great hiking & close to more tourist destinations as well. We will return!
The sites are large and fairly private and the staff take you right to it when you check in. They are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean with fresh flowers adding a nice touch. I highly recommend it and will return myself.
Had a great time hear. Everyone who works here is super friendly. Even all the people in neighboring campsites were super friendly. Seems like a lot of people know each other.
This is an actual campground with trees, wooded sites, picnic tables fire rings etc. itβs great that the showers are included in the prices and the hosts are the nicest people. We travel full time in our Sprinter van and have seen lots of places claiming to be a campground that really isnβt. This is the real deal!
Lovely hosts! They organized a Halloween party and offered muffins and coffee for free on Sunday. Campground is very nice and equipped with sewer, water, electricity. Clean and good showers (2 for each gender and for free) and toilets. Wifi did not work very well. No laundry room.
Wonderful campground! I stayed in September, when there were few people there. Beautiful, rustic, clean. Easy hookups, and a FABULOUS network of trails where I hiked with my dogs. showers and restrooms open all night. Wish all campgrounds were like this one. I was in a 24 RV, just one night.
Campground is beautiful. Way too much rain to enjoy it properly. Very nice owners!
Clean up weekend. Nice to see old friends again. Cant wait for the season to start!! Love this place!!
Great place if you love pines, quiet and caring caretakers. The air clean and fragrant and great amenities.
Just got home Saturday from Columbus day week trip, it was our first time there very nice & the owners are very nice. We will be backππ
The campground was clean the owners were absolutely wonderful.. We will be back
Beautiful campground. Beautiful countryside. The folks here were friendly as frog fur. And they were one of the few places open this late in October.
Walk down by the river and hang out on the rocks to cool off! Great for all ages.
We camped here Labor Day weekend and it couldnt have been any better. Check in is a breeze; the staff is a pleasure to deal with and are very friendly. Ben escorted us to our site and made sure we were good before taking off. TFCG has that old-timey feel from when my parents would take us up to the camper. The grounds are kept beautiful and clean and the dog park adds something special for your furbabies. We were excited to find a family run campground that isnt the new resort style RV parks. We will definitely be coming back here! Thanks again for a great weekend!
We camped here growing up and came back to camp with kids of our own. Love it here!
Absolutely love it!! Great sites and friendly, helpful people.
Quiet and out of the way. Not much for kids to do but its nice overall.
Absolutely an incredible time, great facility and awesome people and the staff was GREAT!!!
This place is great! Youre greeted at the tree-lined entrance with a custom painted sign with owls. Elizabeth and Ben were right there with cheerful smiles and able assistance for maps, shopping and restaurants. They provided a tour of the camp to approve the site they selected for us. The whole wooded area is flat and wide open ample spaces for RVs and vehicles. The area is a partially shaded, leafy canopy of beautiful, old hardwoods. There are ferns everywhere, red blooming Bee Balm, fat, purple blooming Hostas and pretty yellow flowers I cannot identify. There is fast, free wi-fi and free cable. There are trails to walk and many birds and squirrels to enjoy. Very quiet all day and night. Our kind of family owned (two generations) place! Stayed here in a 34 fifth wheel.
Its been my home away from home for years and years.
Awesome campground!!! Nice and quiet!!
Nice large sites, the best hosts ever
