Best cakes ever. I met Charity when we were getting married. She made the most beautiful wedding cakes for me. I had pictures and a vision and she just made it come to life. We also had a Mehendi party before the wedding that she made gorgeous henna designed cake and cupcakes that fit perfectly with our party. I could not have asked for anything more beautiful. Since then we continue to order all of our birthday and party cakes from Charity for over 2 years now. She always has the most beautiful cakes and the best cake flavors. Everyone always asks where I get my cakes because of how great they are!

Charity has made all of our birthday cakes for our kids for the past three years. My kids are absolutely star struck by her and her amazing talent. Many cakes are pretty to look at (none compare to charity’s in my opinion) but they don’t always taste amazing but charity’s cakes are literally the best I’ve had in my life. This cake speaks for itself. I had an idea, and Charity Fent brought it to life. It was even better than I couldve imagined! It is September 22nd . I just came in into the store in Brentwood shopping center right across from the battlefield mall to inquire about wedding cakes options shapes flavors textures and they automatically send me to a website the store has samples of cakes square round two three tears and I wanted to see what were the options for myself to order one and all I got was pushbacks poor customer service block me out immediately the moment that I inquired for help which they are just opening for business I think that’s not the best way to impress your clients or any clientele in Springfield. She Immediately blocked me out because of the close date for the wedding and not willing to help at all I am extremely extremely disappointed with charity Fent cake design. I strongly recommend you not to get a cake here.

They even offered a “test tray” to pick what type of cake and filling I wanted, and believe me they were all delicious. The day was perfect and Charity has a role to play in that. Let me just start by saying that I am not a fan of wedding cake. Actually, it was my mom who made me get a cake and I am so happy she did. I wanted something different than the traditional white cake so I took a photo in from Martha Stewarts Instagram. Within minutes of showing Charity the photo she was drawing the design on a piece of paper. Then, we had our cake tasting. I knew that I would like the white cake with triple berry frosting but I did not expect to LOVE it and the chocolate with caramel frosting! Therefore, we did a cake with both flavors. Not only did the cake taste wonderful but it was so beautiful that I didnt want to cut into it. Thank you Charity for making the first wedding cake that I actually enjoyed eating!

CF Cake Design was recommended to me by our wedding photographer. I was told that if I wanted a beautiful and delicious cake, that she is the best. My (now) husband and I met Charity at a wedding expo for our cake tasting – we decided to go with a white cake, triple berry filling, and buttercream frosting. I wanted a clean and classic look for our three-tiered cake with champagne and white colored gum paste flowers for the top. A month or so after our tasting it was time to decide on the flowers for the top of the cake. My (now) husband and I had recently visited Charleston and fell in love with Magnolia Plantation while we were there, so we knew we wanted at least one of the flowers to be a beautiful magnolia blossom. My absolute favorite flowers are peonies, so I requested that as our other flower – I wanted them to be a beautiful champagne color to match our wedding colors. Charity suggested that I also pick a filler flower to fill in any spaces that would be left on the top of the cake, so I chose hydrangeas. Several times I made it clear that I wanted both the magnolia and peonies to be the main flowers on the top of the cake, so if the cake size needed increased to accommodate both, that would be fine. I was reassured that the current cake tier sizes would be sufficient, so the flowers and cake remainder were paid for and we waited anxiously for our wedding day to arrive. Our wedding day arrived and our ceremony was beautiful. We had hired a wedding coordinator to set-up our reception venue, as we didn’t want a family member to stress over such details. When we arrived at the reception venue, our wedding coordinator met my husband and I outside and informed us that everything was set-up and beautiful, but there was an issue with the cake. We were told that Charity had informed our coordinator that both the magnolias and the peonies were too large for our top tier of the cake, so Charity had made the decision to use only the magnolia and hydrangea flowers – and both were plain white. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed, but I tried to not let it ruin our day. What’s upsetting is the fact that we still had to pay for all of the gum paste flowers that were used, even though none of my beloved peonies were used on the cake. I will note that the cake was very moist and delicious. It’s too bad it did not have the aesthetic appeal that we had requested for our special day.About a month after our wedding, I found out that I was expecting. We knew we wanted to have a Gender Reveal Party and debated on who should make the cake or cupcakes for such an event. We decided to give Charity another shot since her cake was delicious. I contacted her and requested four-dozen cupcakes – half white, half dark chocolate, all with yellow buttercream frosting to resemble bee hives (our theme was “What Will it Bee?”), and half of them with a bee decoration on top. We paid the $120 for the cupcakes and again, anxiously awaited not only our party, but also the gender reveal of our first child. When my husband picked up the cupcakes for the party and brought them to me I assumed there would be four large boxes. Instead, he had one box. I opened the box to find extremely small cupcakes – smaller than a “normal” household muffin/cupcake pan one would use. I was livid, but again the show must go on. I remember my mother looking at the cupcakes displayed on our huge cupcake stand saying, “You paid how much for these? These are smaller than the cupcakes you can make at home.” The only redeeming quality would be if the cupcakes were delicious, like our wedding cake. I expected to bite into a cupcake and get that same dense, moist cake like our wedding cake. What we received tasted like an airy box-mix cake I could have made at home.I see all of these 5-star reviews and have wrestled with the idea of leaving a completely honest review for several months; but I think it is only fair that I be able to voice my honest opinion of the service my husband and I received.

Our experience with Charity Fent was phenomenal. Besides the amazing flavors (my husband doesn’t even like cake and LOVED hers), her communication, professionalism, and creativity are amazing. Our wedding cakes were the talk of our wedding! We went to Charity Fent with this idea of a very large, modern wedding cake and she did not disappoint! She went above and beyond to make sure our four tiered cake looked like it came straight out of a magazine. BUT that wasn’t the best part, my husbands cake was an exact replica of his Nissan GTR! She took the time to make it to scale and didn’t leave out a single detail! Everyone loved it! Thank you for making our special day a little more special!

Best cake I have ever had, Amazing, and Wow are just a few different ways to describe the cake I received. Design and details were top notch. Our cake flavor was white w/ strawberry filling. Honestly the best decision Ive made when ordering a cake. It may not be the cheapest cake, but I promise that you will not be disappointed!! I was able to attend an event where Charity Fent Cake Design was hosting a wedding cake tasting, they had the smartest setup I had ever seen. The cake was not frosted but on your plate you had a sampling of different frosting, fondant and fillings. This made it so simple to decide what you liked.
