Pricey but nice
Extremely poor customer service. I have been attending the university for four years and have continued to have issues every year.
When I went to go visit it was closed even though the time said it should have been open that was unfortunate . I feel bad for those students who might have needed it
Customer service is poor. The manager initially refused to provide a receipt with prices when returning rented books. I needed a receipt for a tuition reimbursement program which was clearly stated upon request. She choose to assess my feelings which was inaccurate as I simply wanted a receipt and was contemplating going over her head to obtain the much needed documentation. For an overpriced bookstore, the customer service should be better. Cheg here I come.
Open and can get all supplies there
The college bookstore has become quite the racket these days. Support libraries! Most of this is due to sweetheart contracts given to outfits like efollet. And of course textbook companies themselves know that they have students over a barrel so they can exist despite their egregious business habits. The publishers make it so you cant sell books back at a reasonable return, renting is often just as expensive and the ebooks that should be way cheaper are usually the same price too or only slightly cheaper. Dont even get me started with online content codes, evil scammy money grubbing thieves thought that one up. Then there is the exclusive merchandise that only the bookstore is allowed to sell. I could go on but this is long enough. If you can at all avoid spending money at the official college bookstore do so, your wallet and hopefully future students will thank you. And again support your library systems. If we lose those the scammers at the bookstore will really own intellectual print on campus.
This bookstore no longer accepts MAP or PELL grants because they are not actually affiliated with the school. The staff is decent, but Follets monopoly on campus bookstores is a real problem if you really on grants.
Books are little bit costlierr than Chegg. But if you are in real hurry, exams are coming up and you dont have a time to wait, then this place is good. Customer service is good. Cloths are expensive compared to UI book store at UIUC.I bought wireless mouse for much affordable cost. So, electronic items are chipper sometimes.
Nice people. Always overpriced tho.
Over priced by a ridiculous amount. You can get books and supplies cheaper basically anywhere else.
Great selection for UIS Gear.
How are students supposed to afford $60 sweatshirts
Its a bookstore for The University of Illinois Springfield campus. (UIS).
Was very busy. Prices were close to average.
They can buy your books 📚
Way too expensive
