Buyer beware! This seller calls themselves unlimitedbooks123 on Amazon. Ordered a book, it was delivered to the wrong state. Seller blamed the USPS. I asked for them to send another copy and provide the tracking number. Right after that, I read the Amazon reviews and went to the wrong state is a common theme with this seller. The USPS doesnt deliver to the wrong state if you have it addressed correctly! So I messaged two more times requesting tracking info. No response. It wasnt until I launched an investigation with Amazon that my book was actually shipped (two days after seller told me they had already mailed it) and a tracking number was sent. Also, one time I was done messing with the seller and asked for them to refund me and was told it was too late. I assume this is how they scam everyone out of money. Never buy from these people!
Are they serious? Talk about the worst customer service of all time. Ordered a book, never heard anything after 2 weeks. Called to check on order and they said they would call back with update, never did. Called about a week later and they said they cancelled my order. These low reviews are 100% accurate for this place.
STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WALK IN THE STORE TO BUY A BOOK. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE THROUGH ANY LEGITIMATE WEBSITE OR FROM ANY LEGITIMATE STORE THAT HAS THEM AS A VENDOR.Ordered a book through this store via Barnes and Noble. I had assumed since it was through Barnes and Noble it was legitimate. I had to contact Nataraj Books multiple times to try and get shipping information, I did not receive an email back until I contacted Barnes and Noble. The seller claimed they sent it and it got lost in the mail, but again refused to provide shipping info to prove they shipped it. They asked if I wanted it re-shipped, or if I wanted a refund. I asked for a refund and received no response, I emailed them again asking when it would be processed, they got back to me a day or so later saying they accidentally re-shipped the book by mistake. The funny thing here is my email saying refund was received days before they shipped it, and post office records show it was shipped AFTER they claimed they had accidentally shipped it. Again, no tracking information was provided despite asking. I had to contact Barnes and Noble again asking when I could receive a refund, Barnes and Noble contacted them AGAIN, and they finally provided shipping information. I was told I could send the book back and get a refund, but based on numerous reviews on other sites I suspect, the cost of shipping it back out to them would be deducted from my refund, even though I paid extra money for expedited shipping.I gave two stars because I did get the book and it wasnt months later like many other reviews mentioned.
We had a great experience when we were looking for a bookstore to buy a present for a family member and stopped by at Nataraj Books in Springfield VA. The place is more of a warehouse than a store, with several employees busy putting orders together to ship out to customers, but they happily let us browse all their isles, which was quite a fun adventure. There were many amazing looking titles, from esoteric to cooking to historic to childrens books. And the prices are extremely low. Their focus is on South Asian books, but their offerings are much wider than that. Highly recommend a visit if youre in the area.
I placed a $210 order August 14th. Received an order confirmation on the website. Then heard nothing. Contacted them through their website in early September. They never responded.I then called them, around 9/14 got someone on the phone, was told I would receive a phone call back. Never did.I then called back on 9/21, got the same gentleman, asked again. I was told that my order had been cancelled as the product was not available! Yet I never received notification of this, FOR OVER 1 MONTH. I would have ordered from another vendor if I had been told, but here I am over a month later, having to source the product again.Incredibly poor customer service! They didnt even seem to see the problem in not communicating that the order had been cancelled.And if the product isnt available, TAKE IT OFF OF THE WEBSITE!!!!!
I ordered two books through Amazon from a company listed as unlimitedbooks123. My books arrived very late (a month), and they were the most poorly packaged books that I have ever received. When I opened the envelope-like packaging, the books were curved from being stuffed inside the small enclosure, and some pages were creased as well as a result. The company listed on the paper inside says Nataraj Books. Under unlimitedbooks123 at Amazon, they have very poor ratings in their most recent reviews. Now that I see the Google reviews under their Nataraj Books name, I am not surprised that they are also very negative. I will be very careful on Amazon to never order any books from this company again, and I would advise others to avoid them as well.
So this is not a regular book store, if you want Barnes and Nobles and your Starbucks within do that, this is less pretentious and much less expensive.It is basically a wholesale fulfillment center, there will likely be no other retail customers in there while you are there (which is nice if you want to shop alone).There are lots of books, almost all of which are on the order of half price. There is one big hitch, books are sorted by publisher, which means these is a browse around type of experience.They have lots of different types of books, especially mystical and eastern texts. Certainly books you have never seen before and are not in Barnes and Nobles. Friendly staff.I have no experience ordering online with these folk. Clearly they have had trouble in this area in the past.
After ordering a book through alibris that was supposed to come from Extremely Reliable book store, which they are NOT I received a copy from Nataraj Books. Thank you Nataraj Books, you saved the day. I surely appreciate it.
Never do business with these people. Ordered an item from them off of Amazon. They shipped my book 20 DAYS after I placed the order. I ordered the book for a project i was going to be working on. Finally realized that the book had not come in a few days before I needed to start my work. They ignored my messages requesting a refund. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
Same as every one else, dont pay for expedited shipping because it wont come when its suppose to come. Ridiculous! Will update when book arrives. Edit: Book came fine, but when I asked for my refund fort he difference of the shipping they kept ignoring my emails. Barnes and Noble should re-evaluate their relationship with this seller.
Same story as ever else......never got.my shipment after emailing twice I received a cc refund.....wasted 1 month waiting for my book....now Ill head to b&n and purchase it! Shame on Ebay for allowing them to operate.
Ordered a book for my sons class. Got a tracking notice from Barnes & Noble with no info in it. After not receiving it a few days later I contacted them. They never sent it. Once they did it came the day after we flew out of town. Had to pay $32 to have the book overnighted. Never do business with these people!
A very poor experience! They indicated that the book was shipped on Dec. 31, 2014, but it never made it to me.Other reviews indicate similar problems by others, so I am not alone! Ill file a complaint with Barnes & Noble, and that may resolve it.
My experience is strikingly similar to the gentleman who provided a review here. It also was through Barnes and Noble. Didnt know my order wasnt going to from B&N themselves. Order was placed on 12/28, confirmation showed that it was supposed to ship on 12/31. So far, NOTHING, not even a shipping confirmation with tracking information! Emailed them about this on 1/8, saying Ive not received anything. Got a response, asking to confirm the shipping information. Did that, and asked for information on carrier (who), when the book was shipped. Got response saying tracking information ..is not yet available as your order is likely (likely????) being transferred to a warehouse closer to you...dont hesitate to contact me again in several days and I will be happy to provide the tracking number to you - total crap! That is stonewalling. My debit card has been charged for this as of 12/31. B&N marketplace is no help whatsoever, because they turned the order over to these losers.As the other reviewer said, B&N shouldve checked their history. F rating with BBB. I guess unless youre ordering stuff about/from India - which apparently is what their main business is - youre stuck with lousy customer service and questionable business practices.Hell will freeze over at least a couple of times before I order anything online with B&N again. If theyre willing to partner with a company as unreliable as this, it explains why B&N is sucking wind. Ive been told[by B&N] to wait until at LEAST 1/19 before I can contact them about getting a refund if the order hasnt been received by then.The book I ordered is out of stock on a number of other websites - suspect that this place cant get the book, either and are hoping to snag a copy within the timeframe of 4-14 business days (from when???).
Ordered a book on AbeBooks, where theyre selling under the name mediautlet123456 or something similar, and they uploaded fake tracking, blamed the post office, and issued a refund. Then I reordered because they had by far the best price. More fake tracking, unresponsive for a week, then randomly a new UPS tracking number. Shipment arrived more than 10days after they said it would, even after the fake tracking was sorted. Never buy anything from this company

It took almost three weeks for the wedding planner that I purchased to arrive, and then when it did? It was beat up and torn. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM unless you want your item to look used, and abused, and you feel like waiting an extra month for it to arrive.
Ordered a book and paid for it via PayPal. They sent me a tracking number for the book and it never arrived. Called back, they said they were shipping it again. they provided a tracking number and its no good either. Now Im going to have to contact PayPal to get a refund. Horrible customer service and their warehouse obviously is horrible as well. Do not do business with this store.
Similar experience to the others. Terrible. Supposedly shipped 12/23/14. Shipping to same zip code and it arrived 1/12/2015. Supplied bogus tracking number that never worked. Sent me the same cut and paste email responses. Package arrived damaged. Listed as new, but the binding and cover were torn.
Received book in mail, only a few days after the larger amazon warehouse order that i placed. Not bad.
They are also known as Mediaoutletdeal (followed by certain numbers) in various online stores such as Biblio, abebooks, Barnes & Noble, etc.Nataraj Books is among the worst online sellers I have ever come across. They lie about when an order is shipped, need to be threatened to respond to a customer complaint, and will take nearly a month to get anything delivered (assuming it arrives at all). How they are still in business is beyond me and I can only hope these fraudsters are dealt with some day.
Ordered 50 Hikes in Tuscany. Received 50 Hikes in Alaska. Shipping label says they packed 50 Hikes in Tuscany. Tried to call several times, never answered their phone. I just blew off the $11 loss...cheaper than hassling with A loser companY. DONT USE.

Ordered a book through barnes and noble. Never got a tracking number and never recieved a shipment. Gave me bogus tracking number. I am filing for the charge with my bank for fraud! they said if the transaction as done with in 60 days I can dispute the charge and get my money back. Do not buy from her or barnes and noble market place.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. Received first package with no books inside asked them to re-send which they claim they did but they refuse to provide tracking for new package. Called their supervisor/manager very rude and disrespectful man has no clue of costumer service.

Do not do business with this company! I ordered a book for my sons girlfriend for Christmas through Barnes and Noble on December 11th. Barnes and Noble uses this company as one of their sellers. When I purchased the book I was given a delivery date of December 22nd. I received an email on December 14th that my order had shipped but no tracking number was provided by the seller. My order did not arrive until the day after Christmas, December 26th. On the package the shipping label showed 2 day priority mail. Really how can that be that my order shipped on December 14th with 2 day priority shipping but did not arrive until December 26th??? I live in South Carolina and the stores address is in Virginia. I contacted Barnes and Noble by email and was told to contact the seller directly for shipping information. The email provided to me by Barnes and Noble was not a valid email when I tried to email them. Moral of the story poor business practices by both companies. I will be going to my bank to dispute the transaction.
I wish I had read the Google reviews before ordering books through them via Amazon. I order a four volume set of the Mahabharata. I received only one. Their email responses were slow, unhelpful, and frankly insulting. They refused to return my money until I sent the one volume back, I did, following their instructions which did not tell me I need to pay for a tracking number. I foolishly did not, and consequently am out a hundred dollars. This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had and I have not even mentioned how the book arrived rather late and partially damaged. Atrocious in every respect.
Order a book through Barnes and Nobels marketplace and your company. It has been the worst experience I have had with an online purchase. I waited over 2 weeks on delivery to an address 15 mins away from their store, no book, which was supposedly sent on 12/10/2014. I emailed you and filed a dispute with PayPal and was sent a bogus UPS number on 12/24. TWO WEEKS for UPS delivery to an address 20 miles away! The item I ordered was a xmas gift for my retired mother and had to make other arrangements at great expense. DO I BACKGROUND CHECK - they have an F with the BBB for similar tactics. Read other reviews on the internet - Bad business!
Bought a book for my daughter from Abes Book which was fullfilled by Natara J Books. Book was suppose to ship next day, I paid for expedited shipping. Didnt ship until 5 days later and the item shipped email didnt have a tracking number. I tried calling the book store but the girl who answered apparently couldnt speak without using the word like every other word said; we dont have that information because its done through a warehouse. Awful service, I still dont have the book and my daughter goes back to school today. Abes Books should evaluate who they allow to fullfill the order purchased on their website.....AWFUL EXPERIENCE WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN
I was not pleased with the service. I ordered a book, I was sent and invalid tracking number, they couldnt provide a valid tracking #, I decided to pick-up the book in person due to time constraints and then they refused to reimburse my shipping fee (for the book that was never shipped). I will never order from them again.....
