Friendly folks, but buyer beware, the diagnostic cost is not included in your repairs so youre out of pocket $100 if you dont know whats wrong with your car but otherwise really nice folks. Would recommend if money isnt tight.

Had a rattle in my front end for almost a year now. I live in Minnesota and every place there wanted to charge me $100 to look at it. One place kept it for 2 days and couldnt diagnose it. I was coming home to visit family and we have taken our cars to Stewarts for decades because they are honest, professional, and dang good at fixing cars, so I sat up an appointment. They identified and fixed the culprit within 15 minutes and I was out the door for $20. If you live in Springfield there is no place I would trust my vehicle with more than Stewarts.

Its officially the end of a great era for Stewarts automotive in springfield. The customer service used to be the best around now it seems non existent. Mr. Norm Stewart always respected the value of a dollar . Not so much for himself but for his customers. His prices were competitive but more than that he respected more than puttingooverpriced parts into vehicles thats blue book value was less than half of what needs to be fixed. And he was always sure to call prior and explain. We miss you Norm but I for one will never return.

They charged double the price of other shops for the same job, your car can sit in their shop for two weeks for a task that takes 2 days. I received my car in worse condition then when i brought it in and they nickle and dimed me. I will never bring any of my cars to their shop again. I believe their mechanics are incompetent. Maybe they had good mechanics at one time but not anymore.

I have a 99 dodge Dakota i have been taking to them for over 10 years and anytime something make a little noise i call Stewarts. They take it and fix it most of the time in the same day to take it in. the BEST thing they stand behind what they do and they let you know if something is an upcoming problem. they are the FRIENDLY people to work with. I WOULD RECOMMEND STEWARTS AUTO REPAIR FIRST

Maybe I just dont agree with companies that quote a repair by adding 100% to the retail cost of a part, quoting ~$100 an hour for the work and estimating the work to take 25% longer then expected. Im all for a company making money but theres no need to make a $500+ gross profit on a under $200 part and maybe 4 hours of labor.

Pretty good mechanics... Alittle bit shady. Dont try to do side deals. They like to pretend to know whats worth what until you laugh and walk away then take it to a professional. Seems like they like to try to rip off females.

Stewart Auto is the best. I live on the far south side of town but will limp or tow my vehicle in as needed, passing several other shops along the way. Stewart’s auto is extremely friendly, and I have been very pleased with their prices and service. I always feel confident they are being honest. New to the area. A friend suggested Stewarts to get my brakes replaced. Called and got an appointment for the next day. Work was completed the day of the appointment and the price was less than the estimate. Persons in the office and shop area were very pleasant and efficient. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend Stewarts Auto Services to anyone.

People were really polite and helpful which is the first thing one expects. Very satisfied with the service provided, I had a little disappointment with the pricey bill and the cars ac on my first visit as they said they couldnt duplicate the issue but still they charged me $36 for diagnosing a complaint which I already explained them from head to tail, but they changed their impression by very next visit by giving so much information about whats faulty with the ac and they did it for free. They got me, Im heading their for all my car troubles henceforth.

I have used Stewart Auto for approx. 6 years and have been very pleased with their prices and service. Even one time when I didnt want to spend a lot of money on a major repair, they didnt make me feel bad and they just put it back together and didnt charge me. Good people!

Dont take anything too complicated to them. Oil changed and brakes and tires. Everything else is outside their scope. Ended up having to re-do the work that they did.

We have trusted all our vehicles to Stewart Auto Service for years and will continue to do so. Once you find an honest mechanic you can trust, no sense in going elsewhere. We drive from Nixa, well worth the peace of mind.

Good job, good quotes, friendly good people. Not sleazy like some places. They havent charged me over their free estimate yet, and one time, they charged me like $20 less than their original estimate! The building is run down, and the news isnt always good, but if youre more concerned about price, quality and honesty than appearances, try it out.

Amazing and fast service! Within an hour or less of our vehicle being towed there, they called me with the estimate on engine repairs. They even had it fixed before lunch the next day. I am so impressed!!!

They have done two Pre Purchase Inspections for me. Did a very thorough job. Uncovered problems and saved me a lots of money. Well worth the $70 charged. Very friendly and helpful people.

Stewart Auto has been our familys vehicle maintenance choice for several years. They are honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Their work is always top quality. They will not sell you something you dont need. We wouldnt take our vehicles anywhere else. We trust them.

I towed my recently non-starting Grand Prix in to figure out what the problem was and they looked at it and diagnosed the problem the very next morning. They answered any question I had about the diagnosis in a very friendly way, unlike some shops. They replaced the starter motor, charged me exactly what they said, and had the job done on the same day. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here for future repairs.

I went here to get steering pump replaced and after we had a heated debate they cut my high pressure line and I know this for sure cause before I decided to change the pump me and another mechanic checked the the hose before diagnosing the pump.

Charged me $70 bucks and couldnt even tell me what was wrong with my car. And when I came to pick it up to take it to a mechanic that could actually fix it, they had killed my brand new battery!! I had to wait for them to charge it, and because of them was late to class. Never coming back here.
