I needed a notary last minute... my bank of many years (Wells Fargo) couldnt provide for me but instead wasted a lot of my time. The UPS store verified who I was, my documents and conducted business very quickly and professionally. Thank you i will highly recommend this store at 5 mile.

This place is terrible. Ive now had two awful experiences and I wont be going back.1 - I ordered something from Best Buy online and they had a free shipping option to deliver to this pickup location. When I went to pick it up, the UPS charged me $5 and wouldnt release the package unless I paid. There wasnt even anything official, someone just wrote $5 charge on my box in sharpie. I called Best Buy, and they arent supposed to be charging. I called the corporate UPS and they gave me the runaround, and said that these stores are franchised and can basically do whatever they want, including holding your package hostage for a $5 fee if they feel like it.2 - I needed to return an item through Amazon, and this was the location that Amazon gave as an option to return for free. There were two people ahead of me, also returning Amazon packages. Neither of them were charged. When it was my turn, they tried to tell me that it would be an $8 charge for the box. Uh, no. Amazon always says to bring the item by itself, not in a box. I asked them why this was the first time Ive ever had that happen (Ive returned to this location before with no problem), and their response was its different every time. So, no real answer. I called Amazon and they confirmed that I absolutely should not be getting charged to return the item. I walked out of the UPS and will return this elsewhere.

Told clerk I needed item to arrive quickly to destination. Talks me into USPS Priority Mail. Said it would even be quicker than UPS. Item sat in UPS store a day and a half before being sent to USPS. Save your time and just go to the post office.

The Lady there knows nothing about her job, tries to kick you out and continues to offer coming back at a different time. Wall in requests are deterred by her frantic asking of if you sont have an appointment go make one and come back attitude...accompanied w me watching her do improper notary services, and offer deterrents before solutions. She did not even realize UPS and who their business partner dealings are with

I ordered stuff off Amazon. They shipped with ups. Wasnt happy since Ive had issues in the past but whatever. So the package was suppose to be delivered Friday. They didnt leave it and I was at work. I try to call ups to see if they can redeliver Saturday while Im home and couldnt get a live person. Im really annoyed at this point. Call this ups store and they say it should be there Saturday. Saturday I go to the store around 1 and the truck hasnt delivered. Go there today since they didnt answer the phone and still no package. This experience has confirmed that I wont do business with them and I need to ensure everything I order is shipped USPS or FedEx.Edit- I changed the rating of the store because this was not on them. Not only were the packages late but one got delivered to my home while the other ended up at the store after I was promised they would both be delivered today to my home. Anyways they scanned the package at the store and it said send back. Knowing I was already upset Rhonda called me, asked if that was correct and what I would like her to do. Rhonda worked so hard to remedy the horrible experience I had with ups since they clearly dont care.

I paid $80 to package and ship a product back to the manufacturer for service. An empty broken box showed up at the manufacturer and was immediately signed for and confirmed by the driver and the employee that it was an empty box, the goods I mailed were not anywhere to be found.Serval months of phone calls and emails and I was left with a check for $172.55. The minimum amount to replace this item is $1400 plus tax an shipping. Pure BS and I have been ripped off and taken to the cleaners.Avoid this business at all costs.

My wife and I shipped packages twice separately thru this UPS Store at Five Mile and both times the employees were very rude and unfriendly- especially the young female employee Leslie, and I did not appreciate my wife, who is a long time registered nurse, being treated the way Leslie treated her. The store was not at all busy when we went there and there wasnt any reason for the attitudes and unprofessionalism- we will start taking our shipping needs elsewhere after this experience.

I will never use ups again for any shipment that I originate.I shipped a package with their recommendations, in their packaging and it was completely destroyed.Their response was the package was not rated for your item. When they sold it to me and suggested it with my parameters.Damage claim denied due to the packaging THAT THEY SOLD ME......When I went to the UPS Store( Francis Ave Spokane WA) location to follow up since they were the location that suggested/sold me the box they told me they cant do anything due to being independently owned.Absolutely horrible customer service.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I dont usually write reviews buy my goodness, Im fed up.I like to receive packages to my door, but when Im not there to sign for the package it gets sent to the Francis location.Thats totally fine with me, but when I get there to pick it up I always have issues. Usually its,The driver is late dropping off my package to the store. ...So Im not able to pick up my package until the following day. This has happened twice. My package had a rental inside both times, so I was out over $100 for this incompetence.Another time, the app said my package had been delivered to the store, but when I arrived it was no where to be found. Unsure how the package was processed into their stores system but not actually in the store.UPS is the only delivery option with the company I rent from, so I started to automatically send the package to the store so there wasnt a chance of ... its not here OR its still on the truck BS.Low and behold, today, the app says its at the store but I still get a its not here. The app says it was delivered to their address, Im looking right at it on my phone.. I start to say, I always have some issue with my packages... the guy says well you should have a delivery slip from your door. First thing that I explained when I walked in was that it was shipped directly to the store...so I of course dont have a slip... apparently, Im the incompetent one. Then, miraculously, he spots my package on the shelf. Makes some excuse like... You dont have a mail box here so the box doesnt say your last name in big letters, it only says PKG on it. Cool, if you have a bunch of packages that say PKG, you might look a little more closely at the small text that says the names below it next time.Im now convinced that every time Ive been turned away, my package was just sitting on their shelf. Of course the man was rude when I left.... SO SO done with this UPS store. Your employees need to be trained in using the computer system and in their customer service skills.

My packages are usually “tossed” onto my porch and I see the drivers delivering packages in my neighborhood, maybe if they slowed the F down and used some etiquette while driving most of my deliveries would come intact. Seriously I understand time sensitivity but be real and use some common sense. It’s not that serious.

Incredibly rude! the employees are always rude to me and today when i got there at 4:58pm, they yelled at me to leave through a closed door because they closed at 5:00pm. i would not recommend!!

UPS on Francis ❤. Fast, friendly and so helpful. I now feel comfortable to do shipping. Wish Id gotten the young ladys name. She was more than wonderful. My package was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. Sincerely thank you.My last experience was with the post office 😟 I was uncomfortable and felt incompetent.

Nice, friendly guy on the counter. I got two calls from UPS helping to coordinate a delivery while I was not home (one from Angle). VERY helpful. I dont know if the calls originated from this particular store, but UPS should get kudos anyway.

The people who work here are friendly and helpful. I go to the Francis store several times a week for my business and they not only are quick with what I need done there, they are also almost always multi-tasking in a prompt manner with other customers there. Good job!

Cant get a signature notarized here to save my soul. Posters all over the inside of this place saying WE DO NOTARY SERVICES. Today was the second time I visited in the afternoon and was told the notary already left. This was at 4 p.m. I asked when a notary would be working. Salesgirl replied, Not tomorrow. I repeated that I wanted to know when the notary WOULD be there, not when the notary wasnt. Two days from today was her answer, adding all day long. After 4 oclock? I asked. Oh no, salesgirl says. Shell be leaving at 4. I guess thats the kind of help the prevailing minimum wage will get you. The kind that loses you a customer for life. Sayonara, 5 Mile UPS Store!
