Pat is the real deal. A great guy whos not going to try and sell you anything you really dont need just to line his own pockets like other mechanics.I had some brake problems with my car and I called him asking his opinion on the matter. Basically told me I should get new rotors, calipers, and pads on the front of my car, a costly job. As moneys tight right now, I asked him if thats the kind of job I could do with the help of a mechanically-savvy friend and some basic tools. He told me that it absolutely is. He didnt try to scare me and increase his own business profits, he simply told me yeah, its really not a hard or complicated job if you have someone who knows some general stuff about cars. He also gave me a thorough explanation of why my car needed the new parts, which was easy to understand and concise.Bottom line, Pat is a great guy who is not only knowledgeable about cars, but open and honest with you about what you might need, even if it doesnt mean maximum profits for him, and THAT is the kind of man you should give your business too.

Ok here it goes a long due review. I should’ve done this review long time ago. First thing first, trustworthy, you can sleep at night knowing your vehicle is in safe hands and your not being robbed with the price of the job being done to your vehicle. Pat is a true gentleman, always receive you with a big smile in the reception area. I wanted to do some outlandish upgrades to my truck to haul my Travel trailer which he could’ve take advantage and made a lot of money but he didn’t. I told him what was for and he traced a plan of what I truly needed and we only did what was really needed to get my truck ready for that task. Very professional job and they don’t cut corners. Thank you Pat and team!!!

My car was fine before I took it in for a tune-up then i pick it up and i has 2500 dollars in damage. This people are crooks and perhaps the AG should be contacted so they conduct an investigation on these crooks. I give them a 1 since 0 is not an option

Pat is probably the most reliable, trustworthy and genuine mechanic I know. I recently moved to the Spokane area, found Pat at the 509 Garage and immediately saw that he is not out there to screw customers over for a few bucks. I got some great advice and he was willing and able to work with me as my budget was pretty tight. I would recommend Pat and the 509 Garage to anyone and everyone who needs some work done.I have a 76 Ford F150, so for those in the classic truck gig I highly recommend this garage. For everyone else, I would still highly recommend this garage because, for me, genuine and trustworthy people are the people I want to support.

Pat has worked on 2 of my vehicles, a Mariner and a GMC 1 ton. Each time when I picked up the vehicles they were in great working order and still are. Pat has taken the time to explained to me what has caused the problem and what it takes to repair/replace the part. So the rear brakes on Jeepy-Jeep (my kid named it) started making that ol rivets on metal sound a couple days ago. Day before yesterday I took her in to our neighborhood garage, and told Pat, the owner/mechanic, I think its time for brakes, man. Id like to get away with just one axle, but this is a keep my family safe thing, so whatever it needs. Just call me first so Ill know which credit card to bring. I just bought this Jeep a couple months ago. Its 12 yrs old so, thinking worse case scenario, I told Pretty Wife to expect 500 to 700 bucks, maybe more if its calipers and disks and drums and everything on all four. Pat called me yesterday and says Hey Mr Hunt, everything looks pretty good. Shoes and pads look nearly new. One rear wheel cylinder is leaking a little, so Id like to replace both of those, but thats it! I told him Let her rip, tater chip! When I went to pick her up Pat says Once I had the drums off I realized they needed machining, so I did that, too. I didnt tell you when i called you, so no charge for that. I checked all the suspension and steering stuff out and its all good. Clutch feels good too. Youve got a real solid Jeep here! So look, Pat could have made $500 more dollars doing stuff that wasnt needed, and set me up for more unnecessary stuff in the future. Instead he did what was needed for a very reasonable price and gave me an honest review of all the stuff that typically goes bad on an older used vehicle! Total financial damage: $200. Honest, dependable mechanic? Priceless!
