Do not go here under any circumstance. I took my truck in several weeks back to have my ac recharged. I was informed that they were unable to recharge my system as I had a leak in the back of the ac compressor and it would cost 1200 dollars as they wanted to replace the compressor and other components of the system. When I asked about the price I found out that they wanted to charge me 600 dollars for just the compressor when every auto parts store sells them for 200 dollars. When I asked about this I was told, We can look up part prices all day but we only use this part When I asked what the part was I wasnt told and instead the technician said, We have great reviews and in order for the warranty to work it has to be the compressor we have Ended up taking my truck to another shop for a second opinion which I am grateful I did. The only issue I had was a leak in the high side valve and they were generally confused why it was recommended to replace all of the other ac components. 123 dollars after everything and ac runs perfectly even a couple weeks later. This shop either has incompetent staff that cant diagnose a system correctly or willfully seeks to overcharge and abuse their customers. If I could give 0 stars I would, stay away.

Tried quoting me $494.00 for 1 wheel bearing on a 4 door chrysler! what a joke. Dont be took advantage of people.Really surprised the reviews are so high.People let me inform you that a wheel bearing cost less than $100 usually and the labor usually takes 45min to 1hr at the most !

This place is honestly the best. Theyve gotten a bit busy as of late but that shows as a testament to the quality of work and follow that they perform. My wife and I bring both vehicles here and dont we would look elsewhere.

I took my 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac in for repair needed a tune up,oil change,and a fuel filter. Staff were friendly, patient, informative, professional. Service was fast fast amazing amazing!!!! It was my first experience with an auto repair shop here in Spokane, and I’ve found my spot. Great customer service, 100% honest and transparency and great work. If you’re looking for a spot where you can have peace of mind, affordable rates and friendly service, then you’ve found your new auto repair team as well.

They try to Up-Sell like crazy. I think they did a good job on what I knew I needed done, but their prices are expensive, probably to pay for all their advertising. They also slipped in a shop-fee on top of the already expensive service. Wont be going back. If I have to, it wont be without a coupon.

DO NOT trust them! The worst experience ever going here. I made an appointment for a basic tune-up but ended up with no tune up and 2 hours later I got an inspection list worth $1200-$1,300 and they wanted to keep my car for up to two or three weeks, within 24 hours I had a leak in my water hose and needed a new water pump thanks to whatever they did with in the 2 hours of inspecting my car which I never asked for. I was told by multiple technicians that they definitely scammed me and did this on purpose!

Took my truck in to have them extract a bolt that snapped in my pinion yoke. They had my truck for a few hours, then called me saying that it couldnt be done and it would just trash the yoke so they needed to replace it. All for over $500.00. I told them no thanks, bought an extractor kit and did it myself in 10 minutes. All without an ounce of damage to the yoke. Lying SOBs. They were also incredibly rude to my girlfriend when she dropped off the key for it.

Took my SUV to Tune Tech for an oil change and they had made suggestions of other services that my vehicle will need soon. I appreciate the fact that they informed me about what my vehicle would need. They could have easily just done the oil change and leave it at that. I will definitely be taking all of our vehicles to this location for all of our vehicle service needs. Thank you to everyone at Tune Tech for good, honest work. -Jake

Best mechanic in spokane! They do high quality work (no corner cutting!). I think the cost of their oil change is less than or the same as it would take for me to do it myself, and every time they change the oil they do a full check of the car. Also, they have an awesome shuttle service and they take me to work when I bring my car in!! Love this place.

I have met and interacted with multiple people on the Tune Tech team, including the owner Denis. All of them have been very helpful and a pleasure to speak with.Tune Tech is short drive, so for me that is a bonus to have them close to home. And if needed, a ride has been offered to get me back home after dropping off my vehicle. This is kind of big deal and I have only found a few mechanics over the years that offer it. I am sure there are limitations on the distance, but its still nice when it is offered.Tune Tech worked on my wifes Jaguar a while back. We got into Tune Tech a lot quicker than we would have at the Jag service department and they completed the work for less $ than Jag quoted me. The products were OEM and work looks solid.I liked their service enough I took my pickup in for some work to be done this week.

Really great place. They actually charged me a couple hundred than their over the phone estimate for some additional front end work discovered while up on the rack. They worked with me, knowing I had a tight budget, but they did it right, knowing I was going on a cross country driving trip the next day. I will return. Paul is a great guy!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered (even worse than perfection tire). The old guy with the beard had the most sour attitude towards me for no apparent reason, treated me like a monkey because I didn’t know as much about cars as he did. They tried charging almost $1,000 for something I had replaced for $290. Highly recommend going literally anywhere else than this place, I promise it’s in your best interest.

I had a very expensive fix on my trailblazer and these guys really helped me out. They gave me a ride home while they worked on my car so I could relieve my babysitter and they did a great job with my vehicle. It ended up being very spendy but it was bound to be expensive anywhere I went. The customer service is amazing and their estimate was reflective of the actual price I ended up paying. It’s worth the expense.

I took my 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche to Tune Tech as I was having a cold start and idle issue. I was told that the throttle body was bad because the end of a standard screwdriver could fit in the gap when closed. The throttle body was a week old at the time but I replaced it again as it was under warranty and was told it was faulty. The throttle body should never close completely shut as it needs some air at all times in order to fire the cylinders, after all you do need fuel, spark and AIR TO MAKE AN ENGINE RUN. I was also told the MAF sensor was bad so I replaced this at the same time. I did the work on my own as it can be done in under 15 minutes and the parts were under $400. They quoted me just under $700 to do this 15 minute job. Your telling me this is worth $300?! Come to find out both of these parts were just fine and never needed replaced as it did nothing for the issues I was having. I then took my truck to a mechanic who was willing to perform an actual diagnostic rather than just guess at what could be going wrong. Come to find out the truck was dumping way to much fuel on start up and flooding out thus needing more air on start up to fire. The problem ended up being the composition sensor for the flex fuel system. I could have had this replaced for the cost I wasted on parts due to misinformation.*****I also asked them to plug in their scan tool and reset the idle as I thought this may be the problem due to a new throttle body being installed. They told me this does not need done and just to touch the positive and negative battery cables together for a minute or so and reconnect. This did nothing even after driving 100’s of miles and I told them I already did this. Come to find out this is not the best practice for resetting your computer as it could cause the computer to fry from electric shock. (Not common but does happen). The mechanic who figured out the issue with my truck plugged in his scan tool and reset the idle and just like that one problem down and one to go in just under 1 minute of taking it into him. I would never take my vehicle back to Tune Tech as I could have guessed the problem with my truck just as easy as they did without spending $150 or more, Which I did previously (hence the already new throttle body). I thought it would be best to take it to a professional so I didn’t just keep wasting money on parts and labor, which I did exactly that at Tune Tech.***I then look up reviews as I was asked to submit a review via email.Much to my surprise (or lack of rather) almost every bad review has an excuse backing it saying it is the customers fault or blaming someone else rather than owning up to guessing and throwing parts at it instead of figuring the problem out. Then they say on one review that they felt the part needed replaced as a bolt could not be extracted rather then say the part needed replaced after being unsuccessful at doing so. I will not bring my vehicle back to Tune Tech as I feel anyone with a little knowledge can guess at what is wrong with a vehicle without having to fork out money to have someone guess just as you have.

Denis and Paul always take amazing care of both my family vehicles! They do a great job at the maintaining of my truck, but more than that they have helped me out whenever I have had an emergency. The most recent thing was my alternator going out on my truck as I was driving home. I called Denis and he stayed on the phone with me until I was just about home, which for me was AWESOME! I had it over to his shop first thing in the morning and he had it ready for me (including a few maintenance issues taken care of) by that afternoon! Thank you Denis for always looking out for the safety of my family in our vehicles!!

Tune tech just quoting me $225 to install 25 ohm resistor and I left went to car toys and got the same job done for $49The said part was under a dollar and I would be paying for half hour of labor.I don’t like when people try to steal my money like that.Tune tech in the valley quoted me 60$.I called back to tell them they were ripping me off and he was mad about the review I left 5 minutes previously to that conversation.... like how you gunna get mad at me for sticking up for myself.If you don’t like honest reviews maybe you should change how you do business when the owner is not around.I’ve been reading other reviews, and the same grizzly Adams lookin bearded jerk is the one who tried to rip me off.

These guys quoted me over 500 dollars for a new window regulator and motor with labor for my passenger side window. Looked it up on Amazon and the most expensive one I found was 64 dollars. Is there not an honest repair shop in spokane? So I brought it over to northwest tire and automotive and they only quoted me 240 dollars. Still way to expensive for such a simple repair but I dont have a lot of options Im only in town for a few days a month.

To anyone who is complaining about prices at tune tech must not be very well informed that certified auto technicians arent cheap. And to be getting the top teir treatment on your vehicle with out paying extra is insane. The two things in your life you invest most in is your home, and your car. So why not pay the extra for extra care. Cheap work isnt good. And good work isnt cheap.

These guys didnt even diagnose my transmission.I explained that it was slipping and requested a rebuild. 3900$ For a tranny?????? Really? 1996 Ram tranny is 4K Rip offs just like most mechanics are. Tune tech sucks bring your vehicles somewhere else.Divines quoted 1600$ for the same request!!!!! I was forced to rate at 1 star so I could post this. ZERO STARS FOR THE ZEROS AT TUNE TECH

These other folks that left reviews are eithier cheap or under educated when it comes to automotive repair and service. The tune tech on north division at the Y are great. I have seen them in there rebuilding peoples motors on cars, etc. Motor rebuilds require a lot of parts and service and sure the price will be a little higher for good certified techinians to perform this kind of work. I have been using this tune tech and this tune tech only for about 7 years. I have two older vechiles that I own and do not pay a monthly payement for. I do a lot of work myself on these two rigs (car and truck). But time to time I take them to an auto shop. When I do I take them to this tune tech on Division. I have had all sorts of work done to these rigs from exhaust to front end rebuilds. These guys are great and do a great job. The manager whom often answer the phone couldnt be a nicer guy. The manager does a great job: very knowledgable, nice and has excellent customer service as do the techinicians in the shop. This store even has a free shuttle that will take you home while they work on your car. WHO DOES THAT!. And pick you up. I have never had to take a vechile back after they have work on it. Plain and simple if you dont know the shop you are taking it to, take it here. I drive around town and I see shops called honest auto and bullshit. I dont know about you but you wont see me in one of those shops. I recently bought a motorhome. Before I bought it I realized I knew nothing about motorhomes and quickly called these guys up. Next day and before buying the RV I had the owner drive the coach over there and I payed over the phone. Later recieved my inspection on the entire motorhome. They had found a few issues that I would have not seen.. This save me thousands while bargaining with the owner of the motorhome. I now have this list of Items to fix before it is in top shape. Who knows I will probably tear into it and get in over my head and bring this coach up to tune tech to finish what I couldnt. Just for the record Im 32 years of age and I am very frugal when it comes to money. But I will not substitute cheap prices/poor service for quality work.
