Friday May 21st, we were heading to the mountains camping. I was pulling my 5th wheel camper and had a tire blow out on the camper 30 miles from home. Placed the spare on the continued on to our camp site in the mountains. We made a pit stop just out of Spartanburg and was checking things out and found yet another tire beginning to seperate on us and NO SPARE! Frantically we began searching for a tire place along our route. At least a dozen places said they had no tires for our camper. Then we made a call to Dixie Tire and Automobile and they had what we needed. It was just a short distance off our route and we made a B line toward them. Once we got there within a few minutes they were assisting us with a tire replacement. Less than an hour were we back on the road to our destination. Made it there safe and back home on Sunday. THESE GUYS WERE AMAZING, FRIENDLY, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. KUDOS TO YALL! Thanks for being there for us.

Professional and timely. Chose this business for tires because they’re open on Saturdays and also do oil changes in addition. I like one stop for both and Saturdays since I work M-F.

Definitely going back! The mechanics were honest with me about what services I needed on my car, and the price was reasonable. They also honored my appointment time, and even put two mechanics on my car to help get my car finished more quickly.

Im a bit embarassed to admit how much i neglected maintenance on my car. So much so that i was ready to trade it in and take on a car payment. But the dealership screwed up so i faced the music and went to see Dixie Tires based on Google reviews. You guys didnt lead me wrong. Wesley was great. Professional, helpful, and most important (LOL) not judgmental (seriously, i really did neglect the car). I left a key with him Monday afternoon and dropped it off early Tues before they opened. By the end of the day I had 4 new tires, new brakes, new calipers, and an alignment. It drives almost like new again. Theres one more small thing to do and Ill definitely be going back to have them do it.

My family was traveling home from Hilton Head Island to Northern Ohio. While passing through Spartanburg, we started experiencing an unknown problem with our front, passenger side tire of our Audi. The front of the car was wobbling. We stopped by Dixie Tire to have it looked at, after being told by A major tire company down the road, that they wouldnt even be able to look at our car for about four hours. The associate at Dixie Tire said it could be an hour wait, but since we had our family with us, and we were passing through, he took our car back immediately. They took the tire off and found a huge egg shaped defect in the tire, and the tire was separating from the rim. He did not have our tire in stock, so he put one of the good rear tires on the front and put our spare tire on the back, as it is safer to drive with the spare on the back. He balanced the tires and told us we should be safe to drive to a destination that did have our tire. He was so kind and helpful. He charged us a very nominal fee, and we were on the road to the Audi dealership 25 miles away. I would definitely recommend Dixie Tire & Automotive, as they were fast, honest and very reasonable.

My Wife and I, took our 1986 Subaru Brat in for a tune up and brake job. We ended up having to have the carburetor replaced. It took almost a month for them to find one that would work in the Brat. They went way out of there way to locate, ship and install the new carburetor. We got it back today and it runs fantastic. We couldnt be happier with the service we received. Im sure 90% of the other places would have given up and quit on us but they never did. Thanks for a job well done. You dont know how much it means to us. The Brat was my wives Fathers, and has a lot of sentimental value. Thanks again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff firstly, but I came in for a tire puncture from a nail and found that the price of great service is a little high, try about $29 to get the repair/ although it was a patch and not a plug repair I found myself in need of the repair and the location was very convenient. I also felt a little more educated on the subject but As a consumer who has had this repair before I thought the price was high. I will be watching the road a little better not to have the issue again. Again great service but a little costly.

I would highly recommend this shop for your vehicle repair and service needs. We live in Iowa and have a daughter and future son-in-law both attend UpState South Carolina University in Spartanburg. Their 2007 Lincoln MKZ started making some rumbling type noise in the front end of the vehicle . To make a long story short Wes and the staff at Dixie Tire and Auto Repair took a look at it and did an assessment for repairing the problem. They did an excellent job with communicating with us and keeping us updated on progress with the vehicle. They not only had it done when they said they would but also came in just under what they had estimated for repairing Lexi’s car. These guys are awesome. Any parents with children attending college at any of the nearby Colleges or Universities should seriously consider these folks for vehicle maintenance and repair for your son or daughter’s vehicle. They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of!!!! We won’t be going anywhere else in the future but here for her vehicle mechanical needs. Thanks again for your help Wes and Crew!

If you purchase a whole set of new tires, please purchase the road hazard insurance. Otherwise regardless of what happens when the tires are brand new, nothing will be done. I am not a happy camper, and that is unfortunate as I thought I had found a place that I could use for most of the work on my car. I guess I will have to look elsewhere. 😥

Have 26,000 miles on a set of tires that I bought there, which have a 50, 000 mile warranty.Tires worn out. Took the car in this morning.Said there was NO adjustment they could make!!Only got 26,500 miles out of a set of tires that cost $528.58!!!!

Blew a tire on my car on route to Atlanta, and Dixie tire on Main Street took care of me. I had VIP service including a ride from the owner to Enterprise car rental. They even opened up their shop on a Sunday for me to retrieve my vehicle on the way back from Atlanta. Simply stellar, concierge service with integrity.

This place has some idiot who lives out back in the gated parking lot who continuously blares music all hours of the night after they close and then all day and night on the weekends. Ive put up with it for a urar now, but im going to start calling the cops every day until the idiot stops. Im tired of being woke up at 2am, 4 am etc.

This place ripped my daughter off who went to college in Spartanburg. Be very careful with them. She had her tire slashed. They were asked to replace it with the exact tire. When I saw it they had ordered the wrong tire, destroyed her wheel trying to get off the wheel lock because they didnt have a key. Then charge for a key they somehow managed to get later. So in the end we paid $320.00 for a tire she cant use, a wheel that needs to be replaced and a tow bill because they didnt know how to change the tire at the school parking lot. Now I have to buy another tire, repair or replace the wheel as well. What a bunch of clowns. Greg

Cant imagine a worse tire shop. I had four asymmetrical tires mounted there and all four were backwards. It clearly said OUTSIDE on one side of the tire, but they apparently ignored that. In addition, one tire had THIRTY wheel weights on it, most positioned 180 degrees from each other. When I went to get them to fix it, they did, but only after the owner made a complete ass of himself. Hes an extremely rude and bitter old man, and will preach to you about how Ive been in the tire business 40 years, if you dont like how I do my job, you can buy the damn business. It really is a shame, because I do what I can to support local businesses, but the owner seemed to be going out of his way to be rude and inconsiderate. I suppose it was because I wasnt dressed nicely and was driving my work truck, so he felt like he could push me around. Youd be better off going anywhere but here. When I left I was almost in shock that a business could be so poorly run by such a pitiful man.

Flying on the on I85 highway, something pierced one of my tires between Duncan and Spartanburg. Flashy lights blinking on the dash, no air in the rear left tire, and neither spare nor emergency repair kit on hand. I wend off the highway into Spartanburg and found Dixie Tire and Automotive - the rubber of my flat already hot. They took care of me / my car even though they had a full schedule. It took 30 min. and I was back on the road. Friendly, great service and fair price. Thanks again!!!

Got tires swapped out. They didnt seal one of the tires properly and said they would fix it for a price. I alreay paid 120 to do it in the first place. They wonT admit they were wrong and waive the charge. Never again will I go there for anything.

The balding man behind the counter was extremely condescending and rude asking unnecessary question then I asked not to have my tires rotated rotated they did anyways then when I pulled out my car pulled terribly to the left went back ask them ask them to put my tires back the way they were acted like it was a problem then insisted that I had impact damage on my tire that was causing it and my car has never done that before suggested I get a new tire and after the oil change that I went in for in the first place my car sounds like it runs harder now than I did when I brought it to them I dont know if its a tactic to get repeat customers but its unnecessary and I will not be returning if you want to go to a good place you can go to the Reidville Road garage at least they treat you honestly

Needed four tires for my Tundra and checked three places around town. All were close in price and I chose Dixie Tire because it was closer to my workplace. I dropped the truck off around 11am and they had it ready to go around 2pm.
