Mercedes S550 needed repairs to air suspension and passenger side front axle and other maintenance. Chris’s crew did a thorough inspection and we went over each item in detail before any repairs were made. End results no surprises. Work was completed as quoted. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Vehicle drives and rides like new. The shop at Heads Up is very clean and organized which tells me the repairman waste no time. I am very happy with results and would recommend Heads Up with no hesitation.

I dont know Chris, the owner, very well. I do know in the few times I have interacted with him, he may just be one of the nicest guys I will ever meet. My car was routinely serviced at his shop, meticulously maintained, and backed up by his fantastic warranty. Unfortunately I did have an issue with an expensive oil leak that Heads Up had fixed approximately a year ago, which resurfaced. My issue is that I now have the car clear across the country in its new home! After communicating to Chris I learned of a Nationwide warranty service he has just for this reason. He took the time to assist me with getting this repair warrantied, and stood by his work. I couldnt be more pleased! No more oil leak in my beautiful old BMW! I may never be a customer of his again as I am not in the area, but I would take my car back to Heads Up in a heartbeat. He took care of me and stood behind his work. He was professional and genuine. Chris and his staff are fantastic. I purchased my car used from out of state, and based on reviews here on Google I decided to have Heads Up perform a post purchase inspection to get an overview of the vehicle. The report I received was way more than I expected. It was extremely detailed with lots of photos and information. The level of professionalism and excellent communication they provide are top notch. I decided to have more work performed as my Mini needed a thermostat change and oil service. They provide an warranty on the work they perform so there is a peace of mind that comes along with having services provided. I actually had first hand experience with that process as my car had a small coolant leak after the thermostat change was performed. I contacted Chris and he had me bring the car back in immediately. After a few inspections it was not apparent where the leak was coming from so he had the thermostat and crossover pipe replaced a second time. During the second install it was determined that there was a small defect in the plastic molding of the crossover pipe which was allowing the coolant to seep out over time. Thanks to Chris and his willingness to make sure it was done right the issue was resolved. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I have had with Heads Up, so to summarize, they definitely have a lifelong customer with me.

Heads-Up has serviced our two cars routinely over the last 2 years. We wouldnt go anywhere else. Chris and his team have a communication process with their customers that is bar none. In addition to getting superb car maintenance, we have also had the occasion to have a difficult to diagnose problem. All experiences at Heads-Up have been incredible. Diagnostics were performed on my Mercedes ML 350. They determined that an ignition coil was not performing properly. The diagnostics were explained and my option to get the coil replaced or have them reset the check engine light that was displayed. This option was presented because the check engine light was intermittently displaying a problem and I was passing through on a 600 mile road trip. I chose to have Heads Up perform the repair because they were up front and honest about the repair. It was a good decision; because the repair was performed and my Mercedes ML 350 is running great! I was back on the road in a couple of hours. The price was much less than I anticipated. Thanks Heads Up.

It’s a rare find in today’s world to have a individual care more about my money than I do. To explain I purchased a Older model BMW which needed some work. Little did I know just how vast that word some would quickly become. First trip was to BMW of course, pretty normal there. Get a second mortgage and blah blah. I got in touch with Chis from a recommendation. From the first phone call Chris took the time to help me understand the reality of my car’s situation and the depth of repairs needed. Over several conversations he made it clear that he cared about the money I was looking to spend and value he could offer for my money spend. Basically at the end of things it was in my best interest to trade said vehicle in. He could have just as easily got me for several thousand dollars in repairs. Basically he helped me understand that value for my money would be better spent on a new car as to repairs to my current vehicle.

THIS REPAIR SHOP IS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!!!We’d just made a 9 hour trip on our way to a dying relative and our check engine light came on. I Googled to find a Mercedes-Benz repair shop and I happened up on Heads Up Auto.We usually always use a dealership for repairs but the car was missing very badly and Heads Up Automotive indicated that they repaired Mercedes-Benz. I called and got the most KIND, THOUGHTFUL, PROFESSIONAL employee named Alli! She told us to bring the car in.From the moment we arrived the customer service was OUTSTANDING! They said we would have to wait 30 minutes for the diagnostic. Within 5 minutes they pulled the car around to the back. Within 20 minutes Alli told my husband that the repair required resetting a coil. Not only had they run the diagnostic but they’d completed the repair!!!Only a seasoned and EXPERT repair person could have done all of that so quickly. A gentleman named Art completed the repairs AND took the car out and drove it to make sure the check engine light remained off!!!AND THAT’S NOT ALL!!!When we asked how much the repair cost, Alli told us that we owed $0.00! Chris and the team at Heads Up are the most honest auto repair business I have ever dealt with. I already knew that after 10 years Of them servicing my car, but just had an experience that should proved it to all. I drive a Saab convertible. Yes, they will still service it, that can’t be said for most businesses due to the shortage of parts but I digress. I took my car to them This time because the AC was not blowing cold air. They could have “diagnosed” multiple issues at enormous prices but they did not. They repaired it for the cost of a fuse, which i don’t have to tell you is way less costly than any of the other possible issues by several hundred dollars. Keeping it simple, the team at Heads Up, lead by Chris, is absolutely hands down the most honest repair shop I have ever dealt with in my 40 + years of owning a car. Give them a try, you will be happy you did.

We were just passing through Spartanburg and my brake, ABS, traction control, and check engine warning lights all came on. We still had another 3 hours on our drive, but luckily we found Heads Up Auomotive. They were kind and professional on the phone and we were able to walk in and be seen immediately, on Christmas Eve no less! They ran a diagnostic test and were able to determine it was just a sensor glitch and reset my warnings. 2008 BMW X5 115k miles-took it in for a check engine light issue. Techs did a complete inspection of the cars condition. Was please they went the extra effort to tell me want I need done and gave me options if I wanted the extra stuff done. They replaced the O2 sensor and said the issue was fix. Took the car home and didnt even make it 5 miles from the shop before the engine light came back on. Took the car back the next day and keep the car all day to resolve issue. Said it was a program error with the computer not learning the new sensor. Pick the car up the next day and said it was fix. Car didnt even last a day and the engine light was back on again and still remains on. Now I am out $1200 for something that should have been an easy fix. Dont know Ill be back. I am very busy and dont have time or the inconvenience of leaving my car a whole day just to find out its not fix. Other than that, the shop is very nice. Very professional.

I took my 2014 x5 35i xdrive in about 2 weeks ago. Had transmission fluid change done .front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid done. Very fair pricing and awesome customer service . Even though my x5 has only a little less than 50,000 miles and was still very smooth it’s feels even smoother now after the trans fluid change . I recently purchase a 325ci and the window switches were broken. I took it to heads up, And they were able to repair it the same day. They even give me a complimentary inspection from bumper to bumper . Great people, I was real impressed.

Up until maybe a year ago I had always taken my 2013 X5 to the BMW dealer for service. After yet another awful experience where I was treated less than favorable I vowed to never step foot in that establishment again. I worried about where I would take my car to be serviced but after a little research I decided to give Heads Up Automotive a try. That was the best decision I could have made! As a woman who knows nothing about cars it’s nice to have a mechanic explain everything to you in terms you can understand. Never in my life have I took my car to be serviced because I thought I needed brakes because my car alerted me I had reached a certain amount of miles so it needed to be done only to have the mechanic tell me that the service wasn’t needed because I had plenty of life left on my brakes. Every time I need something whether it’s a simple oil change or something a little more complicated and pricey I have been treated like my business was valued and they never let you leave until you are satisfied with the work done. I can’t imagine taking my vehicle anywhere else!

Ive taken my Audi A6 to Heads Up for over 5 years. They have performed the maintenance, a few needed repairs and most recently replaced the radiator. Ill admit that Im pretty particular about my car. Chris and his crew have always done excellent work at a more than fair price. Car has always been ready when promised. Once during an oil change, their mechanic took the time to secure part of molding under air dam that he discovered was loose. I was watching him from outside the shop. He spent quite a while securing it - for no charge! These guys know their stuff. It is nice having a place like Heads Up when needed-No dealers for me!!

This review is long overdue. I cant say enough about the folks at Heads Up. As an owner of a European vehicle, maintenance and repairs could cause one to have to sell an organ. The honesty, fairness, and incredible kindness are just a few of the reasons that I will always take my vehicle to them. Their prices are more than fair. They wont try and up-sell like a stealership and Im always confident that the job is done correctly. In fact, the very first time I took my car to Heads Up, they had worked on an issue that was causing my check engine light to come on. About an hour after having my car, I was told by Chris that it could be a couple things that werent detrimental to the driveability of the car. He told me he was going to do some research, and contact me when he was able to narrow it down. When I pulled out my wallet to pay for the hour of labor, Chris said, I havent fixed anything, you dont owe me a thing I was floored. Ive NEVER had any auto repair person say that to me, From that point on, I knew I could trust what they are telling me and know that Im being treated more than fairly.Five stars arent enough to describe the folks at Heads Up.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Heads Up since 2015, and Ive been extremely pleased with their work. Ive had some major work done with them (replaced an engine in a Jeep) as well as a number of smaller things.They are very transparent, honest and up front about what work needs to be done and why. I do not feel as if they have ever tried to sell me services I didnt need.Also, they know I like to work on my own cars when possible, and several times they told me which things they think I can handle on my own to save me some money.I have highly recommended Heads Up to people and will continue to do so.

Hands down the best service of any auto shop I have ever used- Chris went above and beyond to make sure I had adequate transportation while my vehicle was being worked on, and he completed the work in a timely manner with no surprises on cost! LOVE Chris and his crew! I drive 30 minutes one way to have my daughters Mini Cooper serviced. Chris is very honest and always takes time to meet with me and answer any questions I may have (even drawing a picture to make sure I understand). He is caring, extremely knowledgeable, and makes you feel valued as a customer. We recently brought another car to him for a pre-purchase inspection, and I felt like he completely had our best interest at heart, as he took the time to inspect the vehicle and explain everything as if he were in our shoes. Hes a gem and a rare find in todays business/automotive world.
