One of the absolute best used car purchasing experiences you can ask for. Joe Was up front, honest, and extremely helpful though the whole purchasing experience. He even made added a few extras for me with out my asking due to the minor inconvenience of the weather and him not being able to clean the car. I could not be happier! Outside of the excellent customer service they offer reasonable warranties on their used vechicles that add great piece of mind to the use car buying experience!

I bought a Nissan Juke from Joe at The Auto Connection and had a wonderful experience. He has a no hassle policy. He treated me with respect, like he wanted me to buy any future vehicle from him. I love the car, it had everything I needed in a car. I did have a problem with the car cutting out on me.Joe had ordered a piece for the door lock as it was broken. When it came in he let us know so we could bring the car to him so his guys could put it on, free of charge. I happeded to mention having problems with the car and he told me to bring it in so they could figure it out. He didnt have to do this nor did I expect him to because I bought the car as is. He ordered the part and Ill have my car back in a few days.Joe is my car/truck guy from now on.Thanks Joe for all you do to keep this customer HappyCindy Street

Joe here actually cares about the quality of his cars. His detailers are meticulous and very good. His prices are firm, true, but very fair. I just bought a Toyota 4Runner in excellent condition from Joe and I couldnt believe he was charging such a fair price on an old truck in such great condition. I drove 2 hours to see him and I wasnt disappointed. 10/10 would buy another truck from Joe. Joe isnt like any used car salesman Ive met. Hes got a very blunt and to-the-point way of telling you how it is. I respect that, personally. Other people might be turned off, and thats their loss. Great guy.

This was the first car I have ever purchased. I feel as if I got taken advantage of. Honestly this one star is just because I have a running car.Online ad said there was NOTHING wrong with this car, that it ran great and had no issues whatsoever. While it looked great on the inside, the outside was the issue. He claimed the car had been in a minor accident with some scratches to show for it in the back of the car. Not a big deal to me since they are not that noticeable. He also claimed that he had paperwork on the car from where it had been worked on recently. He showed me the paperwork and it had said there was recent work on the vehicle not even a work beforehand. This paperwork all had the same handwriting from different mechanics and overall didnt look right. He kept saying the car was a great car and he hadnt had any issues out of it. We took it for a test drive and sure enough, there is a horrible screeching noise when I braked. He said he had never heard that sound before and it was probably just the brakes. I trusted his word. He said he would have the car looked at and I could get it another day but I wasnt able to drive that far again. So he knocked off a measly $200 to pay for what was wrong with it.Sure enough, the sound gets worse on my way home but I try to keep a hopeful attitude about it.A week later, the noise is so bad that it is not from the brakes anymore, it happens whenever I even turn the steering wheel.I take it to a mechanic and sure enough, it was not the brakes, it was the wheel bearing. The wheel bearing was so bad that it was basically gone and it was welded to the axle. I had to buy a brand new axle and wheel bearing. The mechanic said that this couldnt have happened in the time that I had it and had to have been making noises before I even got it. He said he was shocked that the dealer didnt even fix this or notify us of this issue. Also, we found out that the rotors are warped and that the front passenger side tire was so bad that it could have blown on me at any point. After close inspection on the tire, you can see it is warped and bulging out on the inside where you cant see unless you were under the car and looking for it.It took Joe almost 10 days just to send my title and other important car documents to me. I had to email him multiple times, reminding him.My father (who used to work at a dealership and knows how this all works) and I had called Joe to ask him why he didnt tell us about the issues on the car since he clearly should have known. Joe got overly defensive and said we were calling him a liar and a scammer and that he didnt appreciate that. He said he took good car of the car and that him and his wife drove the car around. I find this highly unlikely.Overall, happy that I have a car, but to go through all of this was ridiculous. I was hoping that maybe I wouldnt have gotten scammed this one time by a dealership but I feel as if I did.Make sure to check the cars and take them to a trusted mechanic. Dont rely on just his word and the paperwork. Very disappointed. I hope to not find anymore problems with this car.EDIT:He just responded to my feedback. He admits to doing nothing wrong when that is NOT the case. He told me he didnt know what was wrong with the car. I trusted him when I really shouldnt have. Ive had to replace a good bit on this car now. Dont trust this guy. Just go somewhere else. As they say, you get what you pay for, but I paid more for what I got.

I drove off the lot and had a maybe 15 minute test drive with the vehicle. I drove all the way from Lawrenceville Georgia roughly around 2 hours. I purchased this dealership. Please stay away from here. The guy is a high-pressure salesman with a attitude of a rattlesnake. He said I will be extremely happy with the vehicle and there is noting wrong with it, that was not the case. I bought a 2007 Honda Odyssey which seems to be in great condition. When I got back to Atlanta after driving it on the highway for 2 hours I noticed when I hit the brakes there was severe shaking. I had my mechanic to check it out he said you had warp rotors. Front and rear were replaced at the cost of $400. When I gas up not too far from the dealership I kept smelling burning oil. He stated it was from the oil change they performed on the vehicle. When I got back to Georgia I continued to smell the burning oil and later mechanic check it out and there was an issue with the oil solenoid. The part alone from the dealer is $650. Next I woke up this morning thinking that it was a battery issue I had AAA to come out to run Diagnostics. It turned out to be the alternator. The cheapest part I can go without remanufacturing was $485 for a alternator. Keep in mind I only had the van a few weeks. I called him to explain he got very defensive very angry yelling and screaming. Ive already paid cash for the van $5300. I didnt get my title yet he keeps saying that he is going to send it I had to call him twice still no title. However my mechanic said that he was very disappointed about some of the problems that van were having. I was concerned that I have children in the van could have broken down putting my family in jeopardy. The dealer thinks Im making this up but I pictures to show it. When he was telling me the van he stated that this is a great van you will love this van easy sales pitch but when I presented the problems I had after the vehicle for week he said oh its a used van. I was pulled over twice by the police regarding this temporary tag in Georgia. I live in Gwinnett County we have one of the toughest police jurisdiction in the state. I work for Gwinnett County and I had to tell two officers I just purchased miss van. there wasnt any problem I still had to present my paperwork if I had the title like he promised I would have had my tags by now. On 10/30/2018, received an altered titled with an affidavit. I dont even know it is transferable now because of the mistakes he made on it. Its not signed transferring it to me. The van was listed as respossed which was disclosed to me. The van wont pass emissions due to the catalytic converter.

Joe has gone above & beyond to help me! I was looking at a truck that sold to someone else, he told me he would find something else for me, but how many times do dealers say that? So I kept looking...but he called! He found what seemed to be a great deal...at another dealership!!! He took me with him and we went to look at it! He bought it that day until I could get financing secured!By the way, when my bank wouldnt finance me, he suggested a credit union and they approved me the same day! When my insurance company was way too high, he suggested his personal agent that saved me almost HALF what I was paying before, even adding a new vehicle! He also ordered running boards and new tires that we are waiting to arrive and will have installed when they come in. I expect that I will be as satisfied with the service on those as I have been with everything else so far.Did I mention that he has gone above & beyond to help? He is very direct, matter of fact, and straight, some may not like that, but I appreciate it!Thanks Joe!

I drove out to meet with Joe, who was very accommodating as to the meeting time. The car was in excellent condition and drove very well. I hadnt even noticed there were a few cracks in the dash near the defrost vents, due to time and normal wear from sun exposure and heat, and Joe pointed them out to me. I found his demeanor to be refreshing and friendly. I did have a slight issue with the title, but that was not the dealers issue, and Joe handled it quickly and efficiently. This car was for my son to share, and I wouldnt have purchased it if I didnt feel safe to allow him to drive it and this car was just great! I already know where I am going when it comes time to get my daughter a car when she gets her license. I had been searching for a Mini Cooper Convertible with very specific criteria (low miles, heated seats, color) for a couple of months. This one came up an Carolina Auto and we talked to the owner about the condition of the vehicle and bought it sight unseen! After spending hours trying to get a shipping company to ship it half-way across the country, I ended up flying out last minute from Colorado with my husband to pick it up and drive it home. They were very accommodating, they had to re-do all the paper work as they had mailed it to us. They even had it cleaned again and everything double checked for the long drive. The car drove perfectly and we are very happy with our purchase and the customer service we received. Joe even called to see that we made it home safely after our 24 hour drive!

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!!! I should have read these other reviews!!! The owner Joe is one of the most disrespectful and dishonest people I have ever dealt with. I purchased a 2006 Range Rover Sport which was advertised to be in excellent condition. It wasnt... not even close. I showed up to find all the rims were damaged, the radio had broken buttons that were glued back on, the woodgrain was cracked, the key was broken, the rear cover was broken, and a host of other issues/imperfections. I purchased the car anyway due to the maintenance records, but it turns out those were doctored to make it look like the vehicle had been well maintained. Two weeks later, I am spending $3300 in repairs. Yes, you read that right... $3300!! I called Joe to discuss the issues I was having and he screamed at me on the phone, told me I was an idiot for fixing anything on the car, and then slammed the phone down. This is the first of many reviews. Going forward, I plan to devote a significant amount of time to educating people about how crooked this dealership and its owner, Joe, is!!!

My car broke down within 20 mins of leaving the lot! The said they would fix it, came up with some excuse as to what happened, assured me that it was fixed, it then broke down 2 more times! And they refused to take the car back. A year later I have pored more than 1000 bucks into the car that they claim was mechanically sound. This place is a straight up joke. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Nothing but lemons!

Bought a 2008 Cevy Equinox from this place on 3/16/17 I understood the car was being sold as is. But after driving away with the vehicle that day the check engine light came on. I took it to my mechanic and I was told it was a error for needing to replace the timing chain. I then had it taken to Chevy of Spartanburg where they checked the vehicle and saw that it had an error code eraser a month earlier. But since SC laws dont protect the customer I am stuck with the vehicle and an additional $2000 repair job. The owner did say he could get the vehicle repaired cheaper than my mechanic but cheaper does not always mean done correctly. So my advice is beware of this seller

At the end of May, at no fault of my own, I was in a fender bender. My transportation for 3 jobs was gone and it’s was a highly stressful situation. I started looking for a car immediately. I needed a 4 door and drive ready car for the mountains. I commute weekends, and reability was key! I found an 04 Mazda on CAC’s website. I called and made an appt to come see the car. Joe took me and my boyfriend on a fantastic test drive. While driving, he told me all about the features and history of the car, and recent maintenance. When we got back from the test drive he also showed me a bunch of extra “tune up” parts/supplies that the original owners had left with the car.At the time I did not have insurance affairs settled, but I asked that he keep me in mind if anyone was interested in the car, to please let me know. I could try and figure SOMETHING out to get this car! It was too good to pass up!A few days pass, and all is settled. I call the dealership and Tina arranged a time for paperwork. While she patiently went over each document with me, my car was taken and washed up shiny!I was also given all of the extra supply parts! When I was about to leave, Joe noticed the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. He called up to O’Reillys to let them know I was coming and would need help. In my way home, I went by and he had charged the wipers to his account! Such a nice surprise! This buying experience was the least stressful part of this whole ordeal. I highly recommend Carolina Auto connection! Thanks Joe and Tina!

First off, lets start with Joe, the owner who handles every purchase. The first thing Joe will do like any other car salesman will do is shake your hand when you first approach them about one of their vehicles. You get into conversation about one of the vehicles you are interested in and then tells you its a great running vehicle and all the goods about it. Like 90% or higher of used car salesman, they will not tell you whats wrong with it unless you can just tell for yourself. I am mechanically inclined by the way. And when you point anything out, thats when they really show you their true self. Hence, this is all after I signed the papers and gave him $4,057 and traded in my personal 2007 Dodge Caliber with absolutely no mechanical issues except the normal wear and tear things. So, onto the vehicle. I purchased a $6000 2007 Dodge Nitro as of 1/3/18. 139k miles, very nice cosmetically (and mostly mechanical), and aftermarket wheels with new tires. On 1/4/18, I go to crank up my newly owned vehicle at 4:45 am to get ready to go to work, turn on the heater to get it warm and ready to drive off. So, 10 minutes later, I get in and barely any heat. I thought to myself, ok maybe it just needs a little more time to heat up by driving it. I live 17 miles from my job and immediately get on an interstate a mile away from home. So about 10 miles down the road, the heat just wasnt getting any warmer. So that afternoon after work, I call Joe and tell him the heat is not working. He says bring it by. I bring it by, he says hell have his mechanic look at it and I left it there. He said hell call me when its fixed.1/5/18 : I start work and waited for a phone call.....No phone call. So, we were able to leave work early at 2. I call Joe and ask him if it was fixed and he said it was fixed, but I could also tell he was being rude the way he was using his words. So when I get there, I walk into his office, he hands me the key and says, Dont come back very rudely. I say thank you even though he just disrespected me. I get into my Nitro, drove for several miles only to realize that the heat was indeed not fixed. It was ever so slightly warmer, maybe 3° warmer, still not enough to defrost a window. This is winter and when heat is very much needed.Needless to say, this person only cares about money and once you sign those papers, he doesnt care from that point on. Please take this review very seriously before considering thinking about doing business with Joe.Also, I will and have no problem admitting if I was wrong, but I have absolutely no reason to lie about the way this man handled what was suppose to be The Little Dealer, with the Big Heart business. If my review has helped you make the decision to stay away from this dealer, please hit the button that says did this review help you or whatever it is so I know at least people are listening to it and saving you big problems and your money. Thanks for taking the time reading my review and good luck with your car purchase elsewhere.

Run away from this place! These guys are dishonest crooks. Sold us a car with a repossessed title and did not disclose dispite having asked. We found out the car was repossessed two weeks later when we got the title in the mail. It didnt show up on a title check because they never transferred the title to their own name. They straight up lied about it, said they got the car from a dealer.

I read the reviews before visiting the lot. I also did lots of shopping on the internet before deciding to visit despite the reviews. I am SO GLAD I didnt listen to a few disgruntled idiots.1st, I was looking for USED car, not new. I certainly understand the difference. Fact is Joe apparently does his research and prices is vehicles BELOW most of the competition in that market. I came down from NC and was met with nothing but cordiality. For anyone to claim unprofessionalism...well, maybe they need to look at their own disposition.I had a great buying experience, very little paperwork (nothing unnecessary), and I now have a perfect used car! that gives me NO trouble.I dont know what issues those reviewers showed up with, but I found Joe to be upfront about my vehicle, his role in putting me in it, and that it was sold AS IS after a thorough 60 some-odd point inspection. I guess only complain when things dont go their way...but I am writing this to let all you prospective drivers NOT to be discouraged by a few dummies. I was 100% happy with my experience!

Do not buy a car from this place!!!! it is a joke! i drove all the way over here from Greenville to look at a Nissian 4 door pickup truck, was told it was in perfect running condition. Joe thinks it was kept in a garage, then he claims his mechanic just finished going over it. Joe starts the car and nothing, he says i told him to check the battery cable it was loose. NO it was not loose it was dead, but okay he jumps the car we wait a few to test drive it. AS WE ARE SITTING THERE THE TRUCK RUNS OUT OF GAS!!! My wife says thank you very much and have a nice day. If your thinking of buying something keep going right past it and wave bye bye. If this is how there mechanic is looking at things I have some swamp land i will sell you!

Rippppppped us offfff! total us they were adding on the amount we were going to have to pay for our title tax in GA. the lady said she called and asked the dmv how much it was and that they told her the sales tax was 4%. welllllll allll lies!!!!!!! GA has not had a SALES TAX since 2013 and have had a TAVT of 7% since. So this lady googles her information from 2013 not 2017 and lied to us about it. When I called to see if they would somehow try to fix the mistake they said they did nothing wrong and our business was done. also to tie into another one of these reviews by JM they also sent us a reopsession title that was never in their name to begin with!

There are some really bad reviews and really great reviews on here for CAC. one of the 5 star reviews is from the salesman who sold me my truck. the truth is in the middle. i drove an hour to get a truck i really wanted. i knew exactly what i was getting. they didnt tell me that they just had it painted and the ad said nothing about it. the paint job is mediocre. they sold it to me with 2 empty gas tanks. and i mean empty. the transmission already needs a rebuild. i knew this but they said nothing about it. its an older truck so these things are to be expected. the title didnt come till a day before the dealership registration expired. overall im giving 3 stars because they were nice and easy to deal with. to get 5 stars they need to be more detailed, upfront, and put some gas in the vehicle.****** Its been almost a year now and my truck is still running great!!!! Ive upped my review to 4 stars.
