Daniel/Donna McMillan—We had been customers of Eyes Nouveaux for years. Since My Eye Doctor took over we feel there has been a deterioration in product and service. Early on they charged our vision insurance for eye exams we never had, which took numerous phone calls to correct. The company requires 100% up front as opposed to the previous 50% down. We even gave them a second chance recently,but we are “done”. We consistently felt the staff was apathetic, the excuses were endless, the final products by outward appearance do not appear to compare to the quality we were used to. Recently there was one new staff member named Richard who demonstrated ownership and follow through for which we were grateful.

Mike is gone. Rick is gone. Nadine is gone. Ditas are almost gone. When they go, I guess I will, too. Edgy selection and fun team were what made Eyes Nouveau the best optical shop in town. Now that theyve been bought by My Eye Dr., all is soon to become just another boring eye-yawn.

We have used the Southlake location for several years and always been pleased with the service and the selection of frames. That has changed. The staff has changed, the selection of designer frames that set Eyes Nouveau apart from other optical shops has deteriorated significantly. They are becoming just another optical shop with no edge over the competition. But our biggest issue is that my husband’s frames broke while under warranty. The wrong frame came in and had to be reordered. He has been without a current pair for over 3 months. We were told weeks ago the replacement frames are held in Customs and they will call when they arrive. They came in today and they forgot the transition coating! This is so dang frustrating!

This place used to be a great option to get glasses. I have bought my entire family’s eye wear from them for many years. Something has changed.Of the greatest concern is COVID-19 risk. I noticed that aside from taking your temperature when you walk in, not much else is done. After looking at multiple pairs of frames with no assistance at all, I walked over to the front and asked if the frames had been sanitized. They let me know that they are advising people to set aside the frames after trying them on, so they can be sanitized.This had not been told to us, and would not have been told to us had we not asked.We had been there for over 20 minutes. They had 1 other customer in the store, so they were not too busy to go over COVID-19 instructions.I also had a very difficult time a while back when they got my prescription wrong. I had to go back to the doctor to learn that they had the wrong lenses, which cost me more money for a mistake that eyes nouveau did not pay to correct.Should you decide to go to this place, expect to apply extra effort to get your glasses and risk frustration in the process.

I had a great experience at Eyes Nouveau. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. I started wearing contacts when I was 13. My glasses were so thick and bulky I never wore them in public again... until now. I am 48 years old. I have a petite face and have never been able to find an office that carries small frames. Well I just found very petite glasses and they fit so well. The lenses are very thin. I now wear my glasses out in public all the time. I am so happy with them. For me to wear my glasses out of the house is a huge deal. Thank you Eyes Nouveau!

Run from this place.. I called them after buying 2 pairs of glasses to let them know that the first pair glassess.. the len keeps popping out and the second pair the prescription was not correct because another eye doctor confirm it was too strong making it hard for me to see. The manager Travis didnt care to look up my account or replace my lens with correct prescription. Total cost spent for prescriptions, exams and glasses over $1200 in less than 15 months

Ive been going to both Fort Worth and Southlake Eyes Nouveau locations for many years and had always felt like I was in good hands, however my most recent eye exam was a very different experience.I found that the equipment was not being cleaned between patients. This was especially alarming because staff should be taking extra care for Covid spread mitigation, but I was asked to put my face into a machine that clearly had makeup left on it from a prior patient. I recall always seeing the equipment cleaned in front of me at prior visits, but this time the employee stated that she had already cleaned the equipment. When I pointed out there was makeup, she cleaned it, but it still left me feeling very uneasy. It meant that 1) a prior patient was mask-less in the equipment and 2) it wasnt being cleaned between patients. When we got into the exam room, I was given what I can only call an eye spatula. It was greasy looking. Again, it wasnt cleaned in front of me, or after me. It was simply put back into a cup on the desk.I had always been given lens options previously. This time was very different. I assume its because Eyes Nouveau is part of myeyedr, but I was extremely put off. They also tried to tack on unnecessary warranty on lenses and frames.I really like Dr. McComb, and would prefer to keep her was my optometrist, but I dont think Ill go back to the Southlake location again.

Just picked up my new glasses today. Wow is all I can say. Progressive lenses done perfectly with clip on sunglasses. Absolute quality and perfect fit. Excellent service, very satisfied.

Let me tell you, this place is great!! I came in not knowing what I wanted, but Mike walked me around the store picking absolutely everything that looked great on me. Only problem was I ONLY HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY 1 SET. I ended up getting the perfect first pair. We went around to all the employees and got thoughts on every pair. Eyes Nouveau is a fantastic place they were great!!

It’s now 11:10. My appointment was at 10:30. Had pre exam with assistant but she called me by the wrong name and it turns out she had the wrong patient file.Not inspiring a great deal of confidence.Have been coming here for years, but it’s time to find a new eye doc

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the lady sitting behind the desk. She came over and told us the brands they carry and how there were more frames in the drawers. I came here to let my 13 year old daughter “look” at some Gucci frames. They didn’t have the Gucci line, but we decided to look around. Nobody hovered over us, which I’m glad. My daughter found a pair of Dita frames that she liked. We were bringing the frames to the desk and was again immediately helped by another lady. She told us it’d be between 7-10 days before we’d get the glasses back. I told her I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute to get the prescription because we were leaving for NYC on Friday, it was Monday, and needed them before then. She said give me a minute, and I’ll checked to see if we have this prescription in house.They ended up have her prescription! We then waited to speak to the optometrist. He was so friendly and explained that the frames were actually better than Gucci frames. It made me feel good about my purchase. I again explained about our trip to NYC and he said, “Give me 30 minutes.” After about 30 minutes or so, he came back out with my daughter’s completed frames! I am so grateful and appreciative of the outstanding customer service here! My daughter will now be able to read the supertitles at Sailor Moon Live. I drove all the way from Grand Prairie based on their reviews, and I am sure glad I did! To all the staff at Eyes Nouveau, y’all are amazing! Thank you so much!

I’ve been ignored when inquiring about my package, lied to and stolen from.March 20th I ordered 1 year supply of contact lenses and a new pair of glasses. The payment for $395.00 was processed that day, and I was asked if I would prefer the order delivered to my house or to the store. I chose my home due to the incoming pandemic, but the sales associate told me to deliver it to the store because “it would get here faster” and I was assured EyesNoveau is a medical facility that was considered “essential personnel”.The store closed less than a week after the transaction. Ive called several times a week trying to get in contact with the office via phone/email because I needed new contacts in March when I put in the order. I just wanted the package rerouted to my house. It’s now almost June. Ive emailed the EyesNoveau email and called the phone number, both of which were provided on business cards and confirmed by google with no response; The only time I was contacted was Friday, May 8th. I was texted by Eyes Noveau Southlake, which was claiming to be open for business and instructed me to call the store. When I called, “the store was closed due to pandemic closings.” I went to the store in person on the 9th, and I saw it was still closed.Every other business on the block was open for business in one way or another, and none of them having any medical ties. Even the restaurants were at least open for take out. Now the voicemail has been changed and says “no associates are available to take your call.”I’ve called your office (which is allegedly open) numerous times, I left voicemails asking when I can pick up my order (with no response) and I’ve emailed 4 times (with no response). I have a hard time believing that no one is at least managing the emails from home or contacting those who rely on your business for a pending medical order. I just wanted to reroute the order to the address I put on file March 20th.You’ve taken my money and not acknowledged me whatsoever. You are a medical facility, and you are not accessible to me.Your store “reopened” almost 3 months ago, but there’s no one in the store to help. I should be 1/4 through the contact lenses I ordered. I’ve called, no one has answered. I’ve given you money and placed an order, and you have processed the payment without providing me the service. Thus you have stolen from me, and unless I get either the service, a refund or a simple acknowledgement from a representative then you will be hearing from my attorney.

Service like this is rare. When I lost a screw for my expensive sunglasses, I searched high and low on the Internet to find a replacement. When I couldnt, I went to Eyes Nouveau, in Southlake Town Square, and asked if they could help. John searched their stock, but found no screw to fit my glasses. He said hed order it and call me when it came in. About a week later - sure enough - John called and said the screw was in. I went it, he fixed my glasses and did not charge me! I didnt even buy the glasses there! (Although I have purchased other sunglasses and quite a few readers from this store.) And its not just me they were kind to. While I was waiting for my glasses to be repaired, I watched as a lady came in who said that she had lost her glasses case in when she left it in a cab. It was a specific kind she was looking for. An optician different from the one helping me found her case, and gave it to her. They did not charge her, either! Obviously, Eyes Nouveau knows how to take care of its customers! They deserve our business!

I received a nice pair of Ray Bans as a gift and they didn’t fit quite right so I went in to the store to see if I could exchange them. The manager Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and ordered me a pair of Maui Jim’s that I saw online which sadly didn’t fit like I would have liked either so Mike actually called the Maui Jim rep to bring in a some glasses that they didn’t carry in store to ensure I got the perfect fit and style. This level of customer service and knowledge is beyond what I could have asked for so if you’re going to spend good money on a nice pair of glasses this should always be your first stop. Thanks Mike and team for all your help.

I used their online scheduling service but my appointment was not sent to the office. They were able to squeeze me in but they were not quick to apologize and asked me if I was even at the correct branch. The doctor was nice but he wouldnt increase my prescription even though I told him I couldnt see. I left the office after paying $100 with the same prescription I came in with and I cant see any better. I will never come here again.

I had an eye exam and got new glasses and sunglasses a few weeks ago from Eyes Nouveau and had an excellent experience.One of the biggest differences is that their eye exam was much more accurate than the last optometrist I went to. I didnt know it until I received my new glasses but because of the lack of quality of the last eye exam, my glasses prescription was slightly off and my vision wasnt near what It could be. My new glasses are a huge improvement and they were able to explain what happened along the way to avoid it again.They were also very helpful in choosing my new glasses and making sure they fit correctly. Im definitely going back and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Tech and Dr were both nice and thorough. However even with double insurance coverage they managed to charge me $100 for my eye appointment, did not order my contacts (I had to call a month later to see what the delay was) and they finally ordered them. THEN they wanted to charge me $650 for glasses and frames above what my insurance policies covered. They didn’t run my insurance like I told them I wanted and managed to screw me out of more money. Be very wary. I’ve been going there for years and I’ll never go back.

Seriously the best place in town for many reasons. First of all, Nadine, Caitlin and Rick helped me choose just the right sunglasses for my face. They were patient and attentive as I found my pair. THEN, on the way out, I wasnt looking and fell over the lump curb outside the store and slammed my whole face into the concrete. They ran out, there was blood everywhere, they helped me up, cleaned me up and made sure that I was okay. They went above and beyond careing about me. It was very traumatic and lucky after x-rays I hadnt broken my nose. They were so concerned and loving... If I could give 10 stars I would... Love this place and the people that they hire... PS. The city should remove that curb, it is unecessary and they told me that several people have faceplanted there in the last weeks !

The people here are amazing and so sweet, I get so overwhelmed with choices but Mike is so amazing he only had to show me ONE pair and had me sold (of course I did look at others but nothing came close to the first pair) he knew exactly the style I liked and what would look good on my face! he even picked out the perfect pair for my dad in 2.5 seconds. And everyone was in on helping us find glasses and goofing around and trying silly ones on too. Seriously the best place to find glasses is with this team.Update 2 10/29/2020: shortly after my last update they did make things right and not only got my glasses with the right prescription but they also gave me a voucher for new ones. They went out of their way to make it right and it’s only fair I update this review to reflect that. I will be returning to the store.UPDATE 7/9/2020: since I’ve written this, things with this company has changed. They were bought out. Mike is no longer there with the company and they’ve added awful team members. In March I ordered a pair of glasses and when they finally arrived (I had to call about my glasses) they were the wrong prescription. So they had to be sent back, that night their stores closed due to the pandemic. It’s now July and their store has been opened for at least 3 months and I’ve been calling about 2 times a week for the last 2 months about my glasses. I’ve left numerous voicemails and I even called their sister location in Fort Worth who also ignored my calls. It wasn’t until my mother finally got through to them that they told her my glasses were ready and to come in on Saturday. They were rude to my mother and couldn’t even tell her if the glasses were ever sent back to get the correct prescription. I’ve been customer/patient there for years since at least 2010.

Just horrible, we had a groupon for this place, we ended up spending more than the average person who comes in here.they were not able to get my final prescription done.every time i came in they would add a little more and more, and never got it right.until one day they decided to final quite on me and said id have to pay for a doctors visit even though they never got it done right...just be careful when you walk in this place.they ladies upfront seem like they are really nice, but trust me they will snap at you.

Outstanding service more businesses should emulate! Their customer service and professionalism surpassed my expectations. I took a pair of glasses needing an arm replaced, which had to be shipped to Germany for the repair. Initially, the glasses to be repaired were thought to be misplaced in transit and Eyes N offered to completely replace the glasses at no cost to me. Eventually, the repaired glasses showed up, and Mike @ Eyes N delivered them at no cost due to the confusion and inconvienience. Certainly not expected, but appreciated. Theyve earned my loyalty as a customer.

Dr. Bass and the staff were very knowledgeable, kind and efficient; especially regarding my complicated case regarding contact fitting for keratoconus and ongoing GPC. Dr. Bass listened to my concerns and molded his treatment plan with my priorities and concerns in mind. I will most definitely recommend them to friends and family and plan to continue with them for my eye care needs. Excellence was very evident and I thank them for it!

Best Eye Doctor ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have a really high prescription and its always hard to find a doctor that knows what is best for my eyes but Dr.Bass its amazing he answered all my questions.He didnt rush me and the best of all i didnt have to wait hours for him to see me but in this case waiting would have been a delight the ladies at the front desk are super incredibly amazing. MAYBRY was awesome she followed up with me after i got my contacts and everything was very personalize for me. Im glad i found them

Picked up my wifes new glasses and custom clip on sunglasses at Eyes Nouveau Southlake today. She was treated like royalty, they further customized it with smaller nose pads at no charge. I gave them my glasses from 2012 to be cleaned and they also came back with fresh nose pads, screws tightened, no charge. They also fully accept VSP high plan vision coverage, and the staff at both locations has won my praise many times in the past 10 years.Their doctors also stay at the leading edge of technology offering hd retina imaging that replaces both dialating drops and the dreaded airpuff tests, which Ill gladly pay the extra fee for. Top class group all around!

I bought my Lindberg glasses in CO then moved to TX 11 months ago. When the nose pad fell out I ended up at Eyes Nouveau. Having learned the hard way that DFW is replete with businesses that over charge and even swindle, and having just left from an optician that fed my paranoia, I awaited the bill for a plastic piece smaller than a drop of water. Noticing that both pads were replaced, I had to ask how much I owed. No charge! Thats how I treated my customers in CO every chance I got and I didnt have to advertise. My customers did it for me, as I will do for Eyes Nouveau.Thank you.

After having an awful experience at VisionWorks Grapevine, I went to Eyes Nouveau in Southlake and could not have enjoyed my experience any more. I wish I went here first! I had the pleasure of working with Mike who was fantastic in getting my perscription from my eye doctor, assisting me in picking out my frames which would accomodate my high prescription and assisting with me picking out the right lenses so I could get them as thin as possible. Eyes Nouveau is a little more expensive, but WELL worth it.
