The staff is very helpful. They are always walking around and ask if they can help. I have never had a bad experience here.

Always a pleasant consistent air of professionalism that brings me back for more business with Ace. Theyre not over friendly which Im not looking for. I want the items Im looking for and the people who know how to either get them for me or direct me to them. This is what I get from Ace and its good for me.

Unprofessional manager who bleats cryptic comments. Loves to keep you waiting. We used the truck rental aspect of this ACE outlet. Stores sales motivation sheet lying around which mentions trying to sell Stihl product. I need a pro-grade chainsaw, weedeater and the accessories. If the manager had gotten the handcart ready BEFORE we arrived and not kept it a mystery why he had to go out back for some delay or other then I would have purchased product. Didnt feel motivated....left feeling mildly annoyed.

The store is closing, prices were too high I would assume the big box stores are faster more convenient for todays needs!

I came in to get 2 gallons of paint today. The store was really busy and all employees were running around to make sure they were getting everything done. A very nice man came over and told me he would be right with me. I asked him if he could help me for a quick second. And he did. Showed me were the paint samples were. When he got back with me. Less then i would say 3 minutes. He put all his attention to me. Made me felt like i was in the right place and he really cared. This mans name was Chad Miller. Gave me a paper to do this review and said they needed some good ones but they were happy even if they were bad. So they could see were they could improve. For being so short staffed today. They were on it and Im glad to call this place my home hardware. Keep up the good work.

We walked in at 5 oclock on a Saturday only to be told by a grumpy manager that the store was closed. On Google the hours posted said that they closed at 6 oclock.

Needed a chainsaw. I don’t know much about them, but my research directed me to a Stihl model. It’s a homeowner’s grade, so it’s not made for big commercial type jobs, but it suits my needs perfectly..I was greeted the very moment I walked into the store and was asked what I was in need of. I was directed to Ed in less than 15 seconds after entering.Ed was very helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his assistance!I highly recommend and will definitely be back for my hardware and home care needs.

Only place in town you can get battery acid. If your battery is not available local and you order online. It will be dry shipped.

The cashiers were rude and followed us around asking over and over if we were finding everything ok. We bought what we came for, but wont be back.

I found what I wanted with the help of a very knowledgeable young man. Javelin Hardware is lucky to have him as an employee.

They moved hurt my feelings a tiny bit.

I am sad to hear the store is closing at the end of June.

I went in 4 times for paint and I’m still without most of my paint. The first time for swatches. They told me to bring in a sample and they could match. The next time they told me I needed a bigger sample. The third time they didn’t have the right paint to mix it in and could match to Benjamin Moore as I needed. They also joked they’d think I would go to Sherwin Williams instead after the second time. They won’t have it fixed till Feb. they said to come in first thing the next morning and they’d have my paint ready for me. I clarified and they said they would have it at opening at 9. I got there at 10 the next day and it wasn’t ready. Not only that, but they didn’t know which of my samples they’d done the day before, so I couldn’t get the paint. I’m not impressed with the professionalism and follow through here and will be going elsewhere.

The guy cut my glass wrong and we waited 45 minutes in the store for help

Better service than the big box stores. If its on sale or you have a coupon, prices arent bad. Some items have been there long enough to have dust on them.

Went in to get a key copied for my ford pinto and they told me they wouldnt copy keys that werent sold at their store. since i dont like paying twice as much as menards for pipe fittings i dont see any reason anyone would shop here.

This is one of my favorite stores. The staff here is the best of any hardware/home store. My husband has sent me in for items that I dont know a thing about, and their staff ALWAYS makes sure I leave with the right items. I have even gone in with project ideas in mind and the staff has helped me make decisions and get all the parts necessary. For a smaller store, they seem to always have everything I need. Highly recommend!

Was impressed a bit i think all the sales staff asked if i needed help even though i was just looking i looked the whole store over i wanted a drink and saw some candy bars i picked a few thats when i noticed the cashier had a girl in training it was taking a few minutes so i chose one more candy to realize i got hair and lint on my hand from some wear near the candy not wanting to make a big deal over it i offered to by my drink only and put the candy on the counter after i payed the cashier asked what am i doing with the candy i left on the counter and i said i was going to buy it but found hair and dust on it and walked out the door.( i believe your store is pretty good just a few house keeping issues and a grumpy cashier maybe because she was training )

Okay, so someone stole my license plate. Worse, they stole the screws holding it on too! Police told me to check at Ace. Man there very helpful to this old lady. They actually have drawers with screws for license plates. Such a relief! Very affordable too. Overall, a very pleasant experience. And I learned so much! Had to share some!

The store manager is awesome!! He helped me find a less expensive item instead of the one I was going to purchase. With the money I saved on the one item I was able to buy other items I needed. The store is clean and merchandise is easy to find.

I am greeted when I walk through the door, and they have free popcorn! they have great service too. last time I was there, I had a couple of keys made. in and out in 5 mins.

Had to get multiple keys cut and the man that cut them did a great job and the young lady that ran the register was just as polite and pleasant as she could be. It made my visit there a great experience.

Great replacement electronic chip auto keys. Much cheaper than you can get from the dealer. They cut and program them in the store. Guaranteed to work.

I visited this location after checking Menards and Lowes for a replacement part for a toilet and being disappointed. I figured Ace Kabelin would have it because they have helpful employees and stock all the parts the big box stores dont. Not any more. After walking in I saw four employees while there but no one offered assistance. I spent about ten minutes walking around looking for the part I need. No one offered assistance. I tried getting an employees attention. Nope. (I am 6 4 and 220lbs so not exactly easy to miss) At that point I walked out and ordered the part online. This has happened the last three times I have visited this store. This is exactly why local retailers are closing their doors.

They are so nice and helpful here. Very personable and will go above and beyond to help you.

I never have to spend more than 15 minutes in this store thanks to the helpful and knowledgeable staff who are always quick to offer assistance and advice. And I always find everything I need!

I went to Ace to copy a key and the service was excellent everyone very friendly and helpful

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The managers always go above and beyond. We like to support the small stores like these versus the bigger box stores because we get better service and this store does not disappoint.

Way helpful however paid 10.50 for a lb of screws that were 5 at Menards. So Im never going there again except emergency or trade my broken craftsman tools😱

Couldnt get customer service needed chains for a chainsaw and they have them locked up waited for 15 mins for somebody to come unlock rack to get me chains nobody showed I left

Went for furnace filters and found great deals. My are 25$ to 30$ and they had a generic for 8$. I love this place.

Generally poor experience here twice in the last few weeks. Customer service hit or miss, but mostly a miss. Employees do not seemed pleased about being there and perhaps even less happy about customers being there.

Got good help on the phone but not much help in the store. First employee was a very young girl and not interested in pointing me in the right direction, just wanted to wait for nonexistent customers to come to her register. And the young boy that helped me in the battery department tried, but didnt know what I was looking for even though it was a simple battery. Found it myself and checked out. But atleast he tried.
