Love this store!! Always get help with any questions I may have. Shop here monthly. Have also shopped online and had delivery to my work place. Keep up the good work!!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! First time I went in with the most vague description of a type of paper I needed (but didn’t know the name of) and one of the guys walked back there with me and showed me all the options. Then I went to the printing service and the girl there was absolutely amazing! She was multitasking with several customers and helped me with what I was needing. She was such a perfectionist! The next time I went in to the print service, the girl with blue/green hair was the sweetest!!! She did soooo much for me and even complimented on what I was printing. She even gave me small business advice that Staples provides that I had no idea about! These print girls really do so much all at once. Seeing them run around even makes me tired but they do with with a smile on their face. Always coming to Smyrna Staples for my printing needs.
Talk about amazing customer service, Mandy in the copy center delivered just that! I was having an issue with the self service machine and she came over and decided to help me with the bigger printers in the back! She was VERY sweet and helpful! I’m not sure if anyone will see this but I’ll be back to staples for all my printing needs due to Mandy!
The customer service was superb, Kevin went out of his way to come over and ask if I needed assistance then he told me and walked with me to find each item!!!!!! I highly recommend this location :)
They are very nice and quickly helped me find exactly what i was looking for
I wouldnt purchase anything at this store ! The professional lady with Bright green hair has zero customer service skills at all. Office Depot or Amazon will be my next stop.
Terrible 👎 place. Employee let me wait long time than refused to serve. I dont go there Never ever anymore. After that I went to Murfreesboro staples. There are wonderful people and they do their business
The weekend manager would not honor their own price match. Monitor prices were miss labeled typical bait and switch. Employee lied straight face to manger when asked about honoring the model monitor they didn’t have in stock. Be ware. Wasted about 2 hours while they searched through their inventory looking for the original monitor I had pulled in their add. I used Amazon got what I needed and no hassle and idiots to deal with.
Michael the manager and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and made the shopping experience extremely pleasant!!! This is my new store to go to!!! Thank You!!!
Great choice to buy your electronic staff . good customer service for Ashley, she make my day.thanks for your help.
I have used staples in Smyrna for multiple printing jobs over the last few years. They consistently provide poor customer service via poor communication. They don’t honor dates provided for completion of task, and over all interaction is severely lacking. I would suggest using other means to have your printing needs met.
Wonderful attention. Laura is a great person. Very friendly and helpful with all customers. I will give her 5 stars.
I went in to get something printed. Two people were behind the counter, both of whom looked straight at me, but just turned back around and went on about working on whatever projects they were working on. Finally after 4-5 minutes (Im on my lunch break by the way, so I dont have much time), one finally asks if I need help, but with all the machines going on and as low as her voice was, I couldnt understand a word she said. She eventually made her way over to me (like she should have done in the FIRST PLACE), but not before stopping one more time to look at a computer or something else she was working on. They were not working fast paced like they REALLY had to get something done, she just leisurely walked on over and seemed totally put out that she had to assist me. I asked how much it would cost to have it printed, so she entered the information into the computer, tells me to send what I need to the email address on a business card she handed to me, and walks away. She never said bye, thank you, your order will be ready at such and such time, kiss my a** or anything. So I got done forwarding the email, looked up, and she was on the other side of the room again. I didnt yell, but had to speak loudly across the room so that she could hear me to find out if there was anything else I needed to do. I would assume (again, she was far away and it was kinda loud) that she said no, but I dont have a clue. It wouldve been nice to have a little more customer service, and a little more personality/friendliness. Ive worked in customer service for a LONG time, and Ill tell you (her) like I tell my own kids, if you dont like your job or working with the public and having to help people, go FIND ANOTHER JOB!!
Printing department was not helpful at all!
Nice place, clean and well organized... didnt take me long to find what I needed. The manager was short staffed, and he did an awesome job compensating. I wouldnt have known if he did tell me. Good job, friendly group of ppl
I completed the online review from my receipt, but just wanted to stress how awesome Jakob in the print center is. He went above and beyond in order to get my job printed. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The staff were friendly enough. I was able to find what I needed. Kind of pricey though
Came in to make copies of a presentation in color since the school I’m presenting at doesn’t have any computer in the room I’ll be presenting in. First, they can’t open my presentation. I guess Prezi is too new of an app to open on their computers even though it opens on my work computer with no license. All good. I brought a copy. Can we just make copies from my copy? Employee seemed unsure. But that’s what we ended up doing. Printer ran out of paper 3 times. Last time paper ran out at the counter so we wait for more paper to be brought from back. Then copier that printing from doesn’t staple- kinda ironic. But ok, do you have an industrial stapler? Nope. So we paperclip and I help since I am in a hurry and I’ve already been here about 45 minutes. Go to check out and the employee gets locked out of their solution system and no one can check me out. They say no one can create a ticket but her. So we wait another 15 minutes for someone to see if they can get into the computer. They’re unsure- supervisor won’t text employee back. Luckily, the manager tries and is able to get into the system. An hour to make 22 copies of a 20 min presentation at a professional copy business. If they had communicated it would take this long, totally understandable. I could have come back the next day. Giving two stars because manager and employee were nice and he tried to make it right by giving a small courtesy however that doesn’t replace my time.
The store was clean and organized. A sales representative was available and ready to offer assistance if needed.
Messed up on my book binding twice, took a week to get finished, told to come back twice with nothing accomplished, hung around in the store for a total of 4 hours, had to come behind the counter multiple times to reorganize the pages of my book (then was told they charge by the minute as I was doing the work lol), was never made a priority, told to wait as they took care of walk-ins, destroyed my personal property without compensation, wasted hours of my personal time reassembling the book they destroyed... just an overall outrageous and inexcusable experience. Make sure you have everything backed up first before coming in, because they need a couple tries (and several days) to get your order right... can’t seem to be done right the first time. Won’t ever be coming back.
Was working out of town when my laptop crashed. Had to have another. I found exactly what I needed at Staples and because of store policy they could not sell it to me!! They could not sell the display model even though they were out in the store, out online and out at every store from Smyrna to Atlanta!! I would have given them one star but the Assistant manager called every where trying to find one ... staples store policy will keep me from ever going back there.
I used the self serve copy machine. This was my first time using the machine. The instructions were easy to follow and I like being able to pay at the machine.
The reviews were so bad for this location I had to see it for myself. As others have said in their reviews, the store is quite disheveled and the floors in need of more than just a good vacuuming. The staff, while not enthusiastic, were at least able to give me the assistance I needed. I took off an extra star because an associate, Genay, kept talking to and distracting my cashier, Lexie (who was very polite) during checkout.
Small store that only has a mediocre inventory. Couldnt even buy a powered usb hub here without having to order it. I could get it quicker from Amazon. When I went to pick it up it took them 15 minutes to find it in the back .
Youre very helpful courteous and would go back whenever I need something else
The staff was helpful and went out of their way to help me with my purchase
If I could, I would give ZERO stars. Ordered something online- got to the store to pick it up, THEY LOST MY ORDER. After looking and wasting my time they call and have another shipment be delivered to my house.. got a call a few days later from the customer service lady- they had the INCORRECT address after providing the correct information to the man at the store. So on top of one inconvenience there ended up being two. Once I got my order one of the boxes with my product in it was completely torn. Looked like an animal chewed on it. I will never buy from Staples again.
The staff are very friendly and very informative.
I went to Staples this past Sunday for some school supplies. No one else was in line. I had everything in a recycled bag. I emptied them out to put on the counter. The cashier then asked if that was my bag (it clearly had another companys logo on it. She then of course proceeded to put everything in plastic bags. I reminded her that she has my bag to use. She said they wont all fit in the ball. I explained to her that they would (again, I had everything in the bag when I approached the counter). Nothing was put into my bag and after I signed for my purchase, she asked if I wanted to put everything in my bag myself!!! I could not believe it. I said, well I guess I have to. As I left, I turned around (again no one else was within earshot) and told her the next time a customer checks out with her, she should put their items in the bag for them. Im all for helping out if there are a lot of things but I bought two boxes of pens, pencils, 5 little packs of loose leaf paper and a ream of copy paper. I will not have her wait on me again.
DONT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.The store itself is very clean and well laid out. I actually intended to purchase items here along with the service, but the service was so poor Ill be getting those items at a competitor.I brought 8 pieces of hand drawn original artwork by myself for clients (value $320) for 10mil lamination as my personal laminator only goes to 5mil. A grey shirt (manager?), I believe Billy? began laminating my work for me, I couldnt see what was going on because the laminator is on the opposite end from where the customer stands. He gets called elsewhere, and Devin steps in to finish the job. After a few minutes I hear Devin curse, so I look up and he is trying to pull the lamination apart on one of the pieces (which, from experience, ruins the artwork). I speak up and ask him whats up, since I see that theres an issue and did NOT want my original work ruined. He shows me, and the artwork was not center in the lamination sheet, so it also did not seal correctly. There was no way to fix it without me taking scissors to my work and cutting off a piece of it to make it fit on the sheet.Besides that one, the rest came back either foggy or with massive bubbles. Completely unacceptable for my clients! I contacted the manager from a different location (Emily in Murfreesboro) for some tips since she laminates artwork often. After TWO HOURS, with only her help/suggestions, and with altering my original artwork with scissors, I finally got something semi-passable. However there has still clearly been mishap and some pieces remained foggy due to improper laminator use. My clients are expecting these pieces next week, and as its original handmade artwork, I am unable to make them new pieces in time. The improper laminator use includes, but is not limited to, not centering the pieces (so parts were hanging out of the lamination, making it susceptible to moisture damage), not waiting until the laminator was up to temp (causing fogginess), and not cleaning the area (at least two pieces have fuzz laminated inside, something I am personally very careful about). The general negligence, especially to original artwork that cannot be reproduced, is offensive to say the least.I was still not only charged full price by Devin, but also charged for express fees despite my waiting over two hours while they ruined $320 worth of my original work for clients. He was nervously complimenting my artwork while explaining that he had to charge the express fee. When I got home, I realized they forgot to return one piece to me, so I drove back right before close (this client is picking his up tomorrow) to get it back, and I find Devin fanangaling with the laminator again. He spots me and hands me the piece which is also not perfectly laminated... But it was better. His idea of making it right was to not charge me for that single piece. I looked around for a manager but they werent around as it was close to closing time (not that this was their fault anyway).I paid $22 to have $320 of original artwork ruined here. I will no longer be using their services and will instead look to another company who treats my artwork better. I also have reach over 6 large nationwide companies that use Staples, so since they are hitting me in my wallet, I will hot them in theirs and ensure these companies take their business elsewhere.I have the number for the presidents office for Staples and will be placing a call tomorrow and detailing the situation, with names, to them. I have also been talking with Staples social media team. Hopefully theyll make it right since the staff at the store didnt deem it necessary to take care of their customer.
Back to school time...needed one somewhat expensive and important item that they showed they had online. I drove from another town and walked up very close to closing and they have an employee guarding the door to keep customers from coming in. I asked him about the item and his manager turned me away when they still had customers inside checking out and shopping. Thats just bad business and customer service at a store this size. With me having four children thats just one step closer to me (and Im sure others like me) having to plan to purchase things that only staples offers in store, online instead.
Not sure why all the negative reviews. Weve done a ton of business with them...always friendly and had great service.
They are expensive, but I found exactly what I was looking for. Quick, easy, awesome
Hmmm - lined up to ask a question about where a product was located as the customer service desk had a sign saying help could be had at the register. Listened to obsequious clerk train a newbie. Cringed as said clerk tried upselling a customer extended coverage on a low, low priced electronic item after the customer said no thank you to the initial question about purchasing said extended coverage. When it was my turn training clerk asked newbie if he wanted to try the next one (me). He looked like I was going to eat him. I asked my question about where product was located and was directed to an erroneous location. After hunting aimlessly in the store on my own (which if I wanted to I wouldnt have wasted my time lining up to ask for directions) finally stumbled up what I was looking for. Lined up again to pay, and when I told the clerk taking my money the other clerk was misinformed about item location in store, thinking to help another customer not waste time looking in tbe wrong location, was ignored. When I said its ok if you ignore me I got a smile and and an ok.I wont be back. Id rather drive to Franklin or Brentwood.
Tried to buy a new office chair. They wont even cover it for a year. I must buy extended warranty. Wont be buying here.....
No one around to helo answer questions and find things. Shelves were empty in the area I was.
Unfriendly staff. Slow and disorganized. People were unapologetic. Blamed corporate for the stores problems. Told the lady in front of us, I just work here. Ill go elsewhere next time.
Ok, location for office supplies. But if you are looking for anything specific. Check online to see if they have it at the location your going to. Even if it is as small as a computer mouse or extra.
Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Went in to get a name tag made for my new job (my employer sent me there and said all of the info for what I needed was already in the system). Walked up to the printing counter and made eye contact and smiled at the employee working and she looked at me and then looked down and kept doing what she was doing. After standing there for another minute, she looked up and in the quietest voice she possibly could make, said what I think was how can I help you? I couldnt hear a word she said, so turned my ear towards here and made a face like I didnt understand, she again, in the same voice, asked how she could help me. I explained what I needed. She looked up the information and then told me I would need to order it online and acted as if I were ignorant for not already knowing this information. She was very rude and acted like I was such an inconveince. The store was also very dirty with trash all over the floor.
It was fast there, the printing was excellent
Excellent customer service.
Employees are helpful. The store is always a mess. Disorganized and trash all over the carpet. I have posted photos above.
Horrible customers services. You charge arm and leg for products probably talk bad to your employees and we as the customer gets the bad 👎 👎 👎 deal at the end of it

Got what I needed each time I went.
Associate, help me find the toner, even though he had two printers in his hands.
