As usual, I had a positive experience with Meineke. I will continue to go there when I need services on my car. The owners are honest and have not tried to over sell to me like other car service stores that shall remain unnamed.
To be honest this was the worst experience I ever had with Meinke. And I have taken my vehicle to them many times. The problem was a faulty thermostat but they told me it was the radiator. So I spend over six hundred dollars for a radiator and pick up my car and drive home and find out that the problem still exist. So I bring it back and they charge me another hundred and sixty dollars for replacing the thermostat. Now here is the icing on the cake. When I come to pickup the vehicle someone left the door ajar and the battery is dead. So I have to buy a new battery which I was not reimbursed
My experience was GREAT! I went in for a AC check due to my car not getting cool at all. My car was taken back and diagnosed within 20 minutes of my being there. I was told the issue was pretty expensive. However after speaking to my warranty company I was advised it was covered. I didnt expect same day service and thats what I got. Alan was AWESOME!!!
This Meineke location caused major engine damage to my car by double gasketing my oil filter.They attempted to cover it up by replacing filter and adding more oil to my car once it was towed back to their shop. One of their employees had a good heart and notified me that they were covering it up.I am waiting for a return call from Corporate, The better Business Bureau, and the Attorney Generals Consumer advocate office. They need to be held accountable for their mistake dishonest cover up.
Took the car in twice for repairs within 2 weeks. Spent over $1000 and Allen the mechanic just ushered me out assuring everything works fine but I get home with my car sputtering and it WILL NOT START again!EDITAfter charging $700 for an alternator he realized that it was the problem. He now wants to replace the battery and charge me for that as well. No offer to refund for the Alternator that I DIDN’T NEED. No apology. Customer service has been very helpful but this owner has not.
Can’t express in words how great this place is. A true hidden gem. Same services that cost $600 plus was $379. My car was done on time as well. Don’t do dealership come here your wallet will thank you

Well I was happy to get ac! finally they got me in an out! But unfortunately 3days later no air🤨, should have check an made sure I had no leak before putting ac in smhhh🤦♀️
Unprofessional and unresponsive. Was told I can let my car be towed to the shop and they will take a look at it the next day. Not once did they call me for 2 weeks straight. I found out their shop was slammed full and they didn’t let people know. Every time I called they came up with silly excuses. I ended up bringing my car to a different mechanic that fixed it within a few days. They should have just let me know earlier or taken care of the towing cost, but they didn’t.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. My repairs were done in a timely manner. Definitely recommend.
I took my Truck on a 3 state road trip. When I was finished my brakes were vibrating badly. It took about two hours and now my Truck rides like new again...
Allen did a great job taking care of oil changes for our 2 cars. He appeared to be there all by himself and he was friendly, answered our questions, and services were rendered as expected.

Took the car in on a Monday morning. Was told it would take 3 hours that day and that I could either wait for it there or go home and come back later the same day. I said, “Can yall do it today and I just pick it up first thing in the morning?” Since I had work to get back to. They said definitely. So I gave them the whole day on Monday to do this, to which they even said it was no problem. I come first thing Tuesday, and not only are they 30 minutes late on opening (they supposedly open at 7:30am, but the mechanic came in at 8:00) but he said it wasn’t even done yet. Wasted another 15 minutes waiting and finally left at around 8:20am. I was late for work because of this. There was another woman waiting for her car around opening time too, but she had to leave since she couldn’t wait the 30 minutes for them to arrive late. Not coming here again.
Not the best experience. Had a cold air intake installed and also had an exhaust issue to be examined, but was unable to have the exhaust issue looked into, as there was only one service attendant on duty, presumably the owner. Had I known this ahead of time, I probably wouldnt have visited this location, as Meinekes usually inspect this for free.During service, the keys for other vehicles were left on the front counter for anyone walking in to take and no one behind the counter for about 30 minutes after attendant left the shop for some unknown reason and came back. Huge liability risk, while those vehicles are under their care, custody and control. Definitely wouldve been upset if I had left the shop and came back and found this or even worse, my vehicle was stolen by a walk-in or someone who was aware that this is their practice with keys.Somewhat of a headache against what was expected and discussed at the counter before service began. Probably would recommend another location if you have more than one thing to be addressed, as things stand right now with their staffing.
My car was at the shop for 9 days for a drained battery and alternator replacement. I paid for an original manufacturer part and they put in a remanufactured alternator. Luckily my friend, who knows much more about cars than I do, was handling the situation as I would have driven off not knowing any better. During that 9 day period he was back and forward to the shop just to see what they were doing because he knew it shouldn’t take as long as they were taking to fix it.So I get my car back and the radio is no longer coming on, the check engine light is on, as well as another warning light ....all of which was not a problem before my car came to this shop. So today, the day after I got it back I return to have him look at it. This guy has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. He tells me he can’t explain why the radio isn’t working but he’ll look at the check engine light and to make myself comfortable. I ask how long and he says about an hour before they can look at it. After having my car for 9 days for what should have been a one day job, you would think some sort of “let me look at this quickly since I completely #%^*ed this up” light would come on in his head. Nope. This guy doesn’t value his customers, will rip you off, has no sense of urgency and seemingly cares nothing about the work he does or his reputation.I took my key from him and will now have to go and pay someone to look at what he broke.
They lied told me it was 350 for just for my front break I brought my car in after they finished the work they then told me they where charging me 500 nothing extra they jus said that’s the price then they told me they would charge me 250 jus to take them off so I could go to another mieneke who said they’d charge me 350

Car knowledge is my weakness. I am always fearful of repair shops because I feel that they can tell when I walk through the door. I choose this Meinke because I recognized the brand name because it gives you somewhere to go if things go badly. Fortunately for me, the staff there was AMAZING! They were able to identify the issues quickly, kept in touch throughout the process, and had me back on the road asap. I will definitely use this store for future services. Thank You!
Took my car back in and they are making things right. I was frustrated having to deal with car issues still when waking up. I took the car back to them and problem was solved quickly. It seems more so the place I took my car to get alignment after I picked it up was just lazy and didn’t want to do the job that late. Please disregard my angry rant this morning. Still I know I overpaid for the part by more than double which is why I’m giving 2 stars. I know they got to Mark it up a bit but dang throwing on an extra $250 for a part that cost less than $200 seems excessive.

I recently received an oil change from Meineke on S Atlanta Road in Smyrna. I scheduled the appointment online (same day) and was in and out under 30 minutes. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. Great value and service.

I initially went in to check my brakes and it was wayyyyyyy too expensive even with the 50% discount. New rotor and brake pads on my 95 Honda Accord was $650. I did get an oil change which was very quickly done. Will be shopping around for cheaper place for my brakes tho.
I was traveling to and from Atlanta and noticed my mileage was way overdue for an oil change. I called ahead and even though they had other cars to service, they got me in and out within 30mins so I could get back on the road to travel home. Allen was a pleasure to talk with once I arrived!
I was very impressed with the customer service at the Meineke store in Smyrna. I went to get an oil change and two other services. I saved money because the customer service associate was honest! He did not try to get me to purchase more than I needed. I had an awful experience with that at a different car care shop. All in all, I will definitely return to Meineke for my car needs.

This has always been my go to place to get an oil change. The guy at the front desk has always treated me nice, until today. I made an appointment to get an oil change, and when I showed up he said “we aren’t taking anymore cars” and I proceeded to say that I had made an appointment though. He then replied “don’t know what to tell ya” and closed the door in my face. Won’t be going back.
Took my car for tire rod repair told me it would take 2 hours later they broken the tire rod completely and bought the wrong part.....the manager Alan was clueless and is the worst manager known to mankind....tried to push the blame every but on meinke.....I had to get a lawyer and take my van to another mechanic......please don’t take your car there for anything period

Almost 3 weeks, and $800 later, they still have our vehicle and its still not done. To have to keep paying out of pocket for rental cars and Lyfts when weve given this place 3 weeks and close to $1,000 is more than a little infuriating.
A very UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!!I went to get an oil change for my truck and Allen the Mechanic NEVER CHANGED MY OIL FILTER!!!How do you perform an oil change and forget to change the filter???? 🤔A simple job might I add that take 2seconds. 🤦🏿♂️I wonder how many other ppl hes done this to.MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THAT MFer!!!!Oh, and the shop does not look like that in the photo. I took my vehicle up to meineke on 7-27-20 where the Mechanic Allen was the guy the greeting me at the front counter I asked him would he be able to exchange out my headlights and he told me yes although he was the only person working that day he got me in even let me see what he was doing to make sure his work and quality was good and he was professional about it I appreciate my experience thank you Allen

BMW i8 for brakes My braking has seemed to be not as tight and grabbing as well. So, thought I measured the pads properly just from a outside visual standpoint and thought that I had measured properly. I chose Meineke because of the others I have been to in the past. Nice, clean and professional. This place is run down, dirty, and I think had ONE technician working there.He took the car to the bay, came back in about 5 min, said we cant get brakes until after 11 am. And the cost is $401.00. There is a reason that I made an appointment at 8:30 am.So said no I cant wait that long today, I will come back next weekend. With all intentions of doing so. Took the car and as Im driving back to my home, I see Smyrna Tire Plus. And decided to stop there. A friend has been having his tires and brakes done there a few times and said they were fantastic.So stopped in. Told them I think I need brakes. They took the car to the bay, a professional gentleman came out and said, you do not need brakes. They are 7mm all around. And the BMW i8 has a sensor that will alert you on the dash. So you do not need brakes.So, the technician at Meineke NEVER inspected the brakes OR they were trying to rip me off.Here is a tip. If the shop looks like a third rate garage like this Meineke does. Its probably just as shady as your gut tells you.DO NOT RECOMMEND. No excuse would change my mind.

They completely overcharged me for a new battery for a Nissan
Unprofessional and slow. They said the car will be done with the oil change in 10 min. I waited 30-35 minutes and the waiting room smelled like cigarettes. They didn’t even reset the oil change timer on my car, and they didn’t put a sticker to let me know at what mileage I need to get my next oil change. Never coming back here again.
The guys in the shop did a great job fixing a bad exhaust install done by a different shop. They got it fixed quickly and it looks perfect now. I really appreciated their help in fixing it.
Picked up my Vehicle Yesterday 7/10/20 they had my car for 2 days Only 1 Mechanic and he laid Out On Friday, Worked On My Truck and it Took Almost a Whole Day Saturday.Finally Finished and Paid Allen, Over Paid With a $20 bill no kind of Customer Service because he Never said Mr.Stallings You Paid with To Much Money.Y’all Closed Down 14th and Northside Drive Should have left That Store Open.

I went in to have the lug nuts on my 04 Toyota Avalon torqued to their proper specifications. The service folks there were more than happy to oblige me and did so in a speedy manner and at a fair price. I will go back for other services when necessary.

Scheduled an appointment for 1:30 didn’t get serviced on time. Got a tune-up and an ac evac and recharge. After almost 4 hours I got my car back and was runnning fine. After 10-15 minutes of driving off the lot my car started to misfire and went into limp mode. I immediately called the shop and was told to turn around. I arrived at the shop and no-one appeared to be there or was not responding. After 30ish minutes of waiting and calling no-one respondes so I left to return the next day 6/27/2020 at 7:30.
If I could post this without stars I would cause they dont deserve it had me drive to there location at 3:15 with bad brakes just to have me sit out front until they closed at 4 talk about some dodo service
This place is always available for me. Allen is the MAN he always make sure that I am good before I leave. This location has been helpful and has great customer service. I would recommend easily.

Went for an oil change for a 2019 Honda. Price is higher here (even with a coupon) than at the dealership. Even worse, I made an appointment for 8:30 and when I arrived at 8:25 was told it would be an hour before they could start on my car. I was told everyone else also had an appointment---so why didnt they adjust their staffing??! Well, no matter, I drove to the dealership 15 minutes away, paid less, and was back home before Meineke would have even started the oil change.(I gave three stars because I previously had an oil change here for a 2009 car that went smoothly. It is now apparent that experience was luck of the draw.)
In general, Meineke is always our go-to for car repairs. Their prices are competitive, there are usually good coupons you can find, and they have a generous rewards program.This location is definitely up to the standards weve come to expect from a Meineke shop. The guys there are great, and have treated us well the times weve had to go there. I definitely recommend it, and have sent a few people there to get their repairs.

I have been to this place twice and will never go back. I went a few months back for a power steering fluid leak. It took 4 trips and 2 rentals before they could even attempt to get it right. Even after all that, it still leaks.I went in for a simple brake pad replacement. Was charged almost $400 as they quoted me to replace my rotors without informing me. I had my car serviced a month ago at the dealers and they checked my rotors then and said I wouldn’t need more for quite some time. My local Toyota dealer charges half that price for the same parts and labor. I called back to the shop to ask the brand of rotors placed on my car as I couldn’t find one remotely close to the $100 a rotor price they charged me. They were unable to tell me the name of the brand.I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I’LL DRIVE THE EXTRA 10 MINS TO THE DEALER.

I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got to the shop 10 min before they opened so I could make sure I’d be first. They opened up 20 minutes late. The second time was it for me and I will never be back. I got to the shop at 7:30, the man told me I would be second in line for an oil change and would be done by 8:30AM. 8:20AM rolls around and my car was still in the spot I parked it in so I asked for my keys and he told me the guy who does the oil changes had just got there and it would only be another 30 min. Why is the concept of opening and starting on time a problem for this location? I get to the shop at 7:30 for a reason, I don’t and won’t wait all day. I will find another place who values their customers time.
Hi, so I called Saturday around 1 to see if I could get an oil change they said they couldn’t do it that day but they could do it on Monday. Today 11/12. I told them I would come in around 8am This is a 45 min drive for me and I drove all the way here and no one is even here. I’m aware that this is a holiday for some however I was told to come in on Monday. Really unhappy at the fact that I took this commute and I can’t even leave a voicemail because the answering service is off.

They lied over the phone when I called for a brake change estimate. Wasted my time going there. They try to lure you in so they can guilt you into staying and charge what they want.
My son took his 2015 Kia Optima there to have an oil leak repaired. He was told it would take 3 hours so he left the car for the repair. After 3 hours he was told they didnt have the part. The next day after repairing the leak he was told his car would not start. He was told by the mechanic that he didnt know what was wrong and he couldnt fix the problem. A problem which did not exist until it was in their possession. My son was desperate and overpaid for his $400 oil leak and towed his car to the dealership. Still awaiting the cause and the cost which Meineke created.
First, Id like to think that a shop in Vinings wouldnt be so horrible! I work in this area and took my car here to get a catalytic converter not once but twice within a 1.5 year period! These things should last 100k miles but little did I know that they lied to me about what that had done! I have proof.. What happened to the Meineke Guarantee? Its horrible how they treat women and lie to us only wanting to get money. I went up there to get a receipt from the previous service that I had paid them for and Allen was so nasty and didnt want to give me a copy, asking what do I need it for? He knew that he had screwed me over and that I plan to take action asap. Save yourself the drama and go somewhere else! This place needs to close down for good!
Poorly run shop. Set an appointment at 9:30 am, owner didn’t open till 10 am. Told me Has 1 employee running the shop and couldn’t get me in till 11. I gave them time, showed up at 12:30 pm. I asked for a courtesy credit since I had an appointment and all the inconveniences to get my car in, Owner Started badgering me and told me he wasn’t going to service my car and to find a different place.If you want to have a morning missed of work turn into a day missed of work and deal with rude owner, go here. But if you want courteous staff and timely work done, I suggest anywhere but here.
Ive been going here for about a year because they honor a coupon that I regularly buy for oil changes. Ive never had a bad experience and today was especially great. I believe they have gone under new management since my last oil change a couple months ago, and it shows. My oil change was done in less than 20 minutes, and they put in my new headlights for free (I brought the bulbs in myself). I dealt with 3 different employees who were all very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend going here for at least an oil change. I am not sure about any sort of repairs or other maintenance, but for an oil change, they are great!
Went in to fix the swirling/hissing sound coming from the tire area on my 2012 Nissan Altima...first thought was I need some breaks (Im not an expert) explained to the guy I didnt know exactly what it was. Alan went straight for the back breaks & rotors, after charging me nearly $350 for the service...soon as I get home I hear the EXACT sound coming from the same area!!!! 😠😠😠I take my car back, left it there the following day, still the same problem. AFTER a 3RD attempt I had to literally drive the mechanic myself to point out the obvious sound (I didnt even leave out of the parking lot). He immediately heard the noise all of a sudden and fixed the issue in less than 15 minutes! 🗣🗣🗣So at this point Im livid! I ask the guy for a refund and he tells me, well the good thing is we fixed the issue for free and you dont have to worry about brakes for a long time I precede to explain I paid for a service I didnt ask for and possibly didnt need right away. I want at least 1/2 my money back. They declined!I will NEVER step foot in this place again, never refer a single soul to this place. Customer service is what keep customers idiots! The number of times I had to come and actually wait was enough to give me 1/2 my money back in addition to not fixing the correct issue from the start. I was an actual customer, not a random stop. NEVER AGAIN! Take heed to the warnings before going to this place! Do NOT go here!
I always have a good experience here. Tony the owner and Allen are very thorough. They are pretty knowledgeable as is their mechanics n technicians. I just was not sure if the last visit gave me a full read of all that was wrong. I went elsewhere to get a few more opinions and discovered there was far more wrong (unfortunately) with my car. I wld have much rather spent the lower price tag they told me abt to fix my car but it seemed more was wrong. There are a few more items that have not been rectified that I thought were rectified with the last two visits but again I think the scope of my issues are greater than I first thought. I will still patronize this location for my oil chgs.
They addressed the concerns I brought my car in for and also identified the cause of another noise I’d been hearing with my car. The middle rating is only because I’m not 100% certain about the cost of the repairs as it relates to discounts I’d specifically seen on the website and had sent to my phone prior to my visit. The receipt also didn’t clarify this, and the associate who assisted me wasn’t very forthcoming with information about how the price was arrived at other than to say discounts had been applied.

Awful place. They dont know what they are doing. I brought my car for an oil leak, and after 4 returns in 6 weeks, one of which was for 12 days, it was still leaking. I paid $2700 and even after the 4th time, they assured me that it was oil in the frame and it will go away with time. 2 weeks later, the oil leak is worse. They are asking to bring it back for a 5th time to take yet another look. How can I trust such a place? They are slow and I cant see how Meineke accepts this shop to be under their name. I asked for a refund so I can take it to the dealer and they wouldnt even accept that. Very bad service. The worst experience in 20 years of driving.
Dont go to this service center (Atlanta Road Smyrna) ever, I had very bad experience with them recently. I given my car for AC repair on June 20th to find root cause, they found few issues and asked me to pay 200$ and I asked twice this is the issue or any other issues noticed they said this is the issue, it worked a week and AC not functioning, I went to the service asked to verify the issue, now this time they come up with big list and asking me to pay 1000$ again then I asked them you guys repaired AC three weeks back and again now your asking 1000$ you could have mention the issues earlier it self, they responded back very bad manner, I got shocked by seeing their behavior, they dont know any thing what to repair what not, my Car AC is functioning better before fixing the issue, please careful these kind of service centers

On Nov. 11th, 2016, I went to this location at 7:00 am to take advantage of the Free oil change for Veterans. The shop advertise that they open at 7:30 am. 7:30 came and no one was there to open the shop. By 8;30 am, no one was there and there was at least 10 cars waiting, a few left. I left at 8:35 and went to Precision tune and Paid for my oil change. If this shop treats Vets like this, I would hate to see how they treat others! This was a slap in the face to us. Dont advertise something and then fail to deliver. Poor treatment for those who serviced. I will let EVERY Veteran organization know about this as well as the local Chamber of Commence.

This repair shop is the perfect picture of those horrible stories you hear about when it comes to auto repair. They lie, they over charge, they dont stand by their work, nor do they make right on their mistakes. If you try to contact Meineke corporate to resolve any issues it is an absolute waste of time!! Run! There are plenty of other reputable and truly trustworthy repair shops nearby, no need to go to a location that will leave your car worse than when it came in. Come in for an oil change and youll be lucky if you can still drive your car when you pick it up. DONT DO IT! Go Somewhere Else!

Typical auto shop rip off. Tried to convince me I needed an A/C Compressor kit for $900 when I brought my car in complaining of it blowing warm air. Turns out all I needed was refrigerant, which costs me less than $50 at advance auto parts. I will never, ever go to this place again. Beware!

I took my car to this place as my car had broken down. Owner never checked the car he thought based on my description it was the radiator and charged me $580 for it. They promised to fix within 2 hours.3 hours later nothing done. I asked for my car keys so I could leave Tony lied that they already started work and quickly drove car into workshop and refused to give me back my keys even though the parts they ordered had not arrived5 hours later he drove car from back and said everything was fine and i paid him $580 for it. once i got in to drive the car would not start. He tried to start it and then claimed i needed to buy something else for $200??? The car you just drove from back claiming it was ok???Needed the car so asked for new part to be bought but then called a friend who has a car shop he said they were wrong and told Tony/Allen they should have carried out a diagnostic test and he thought it was the gasket head not the new part they wanted me to buy they insisted they were right. reluctantly they did the test, it was the gasket head!!They had just replaced the radiator without checking the engine for damage which is standard practice to do once a car comes to a car shop with over heating.Since the vehicle could not move they advised i packed the car there and they drove it to the back while i took uber home.A few days later on the 18th i decided to gift the vehicle to Kars 4 Kids. I called meineke and spoke with the owner that i had gifted the vehicle and someone would come pick it he said ok. I traveled out just got back in country to a voicemail from Kars4kids stating that they were not allowed to pick up vehicle because they were told there were storage fees. we NEVER once discussed any storage fee, not even when i called them to let them know Kars for Kids will pick up vehicle. the only reason the vehicle was sitting in their lot for 2 weeks was as a result of their mistake. To deny children who would have gained from this vehicle because of their mistake and greed is unpardonable!These guys have no clue what they are doing!!! They were very rude and unprofessional with me. They are liars and thieves. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT GO THIS LOCATION!!! Read all other reviews and save yourself the drama not to mention save your vehicle from these car thieves. Meineke needs to close this location!.
Exceptional place to have your car serviced.
Extremely overpriced. I can get an exhaust work done for $100 at rainbow muffler i just needed to buy a tip for the mufflers. being charged for $325 is really high
I had 930 appointment the guy at the front desk didn’t show up until 11am and after diagnostics I was told I only needed a full tune up and oil change I guess he started around 4pm with that process he then calls me and says he did the tune up and oil change but my engine is about to fail very soon😩😩😩
I have used this Mseineke Center several times now. The staff are very friendly and call if any problems arise during work being done.All work completed when promised, I will continue going there with all my cars
The manager was very polite and courteous to me. He even gave me a ride home while my car was being serviced. Ladies receive a discount on oil changes on Wednesdays.
Dont go here, perfect example of auto shop rip off. Paid for a simple oil change and tire rotation. They didnt rotate the tires. Took the car for test drive after an oil change? Why? Who knows. Came back and told me I needed new struts, they were replaced less than a year prior. No way they needed them again. They said they heard a weird noise under the car. I left and then had a noise under the car which wasnt there before. I looked underneath and found a piece of metal hooked onto the spring.
