The quality of the bedroom suite is amazing. The salesman went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The purchase was quick and easy very efficient. They delivered my furniture within two days and it was a white glove delivery and set up. Please visit this store there are two locations and I had the pleasure of working with salesmen at both locations. Andrew is a super sweet and knowledgeable. I purchased an Ashley sectional from Duane for my parents. As expected, during these very unusual times, it took a little longer than normal to come in. But it was worth the wait for sure. Duane is the best sales person I’ve ever dealt with. Very friendly, professional and very helpful. Then, Tim the manager was so helpful every time I called for an update. The owner Eric even came out to greet me. Such a nice group of people to deal with.I can’t say enough nice things about the 2 delivery guys. They were excellent.Love this store!! After calling to see when my furniture would be delivered because no one called me the girl by the name of Porscha was very rude and unprofessional and hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back. So basically I paid cash for the furniture still don’t know when it will be delivered and they have horrible customer service.

We ordered a living room set and Mr. Duane was amazing. There was a delay but we knew that could happen during this pandemic. Once our set arrived we were contacted to set up a delivery. The delivery team arrived in the window of time given to me and were very friendly. We will be back!

We went in picked our furniture, everything went smooth. But, when we had a problem with our recliner. We were told there is nothing they can do about it. They said the manufacturer will not approve for them to come look at it. They are badging the decision on a picture I guess this is there policy for problems, but it is a very bad policy. They cant tell from a picture what is wrong. I will not be back.

Mr Duane, the salesperson at the time was extremely kind and helpful. He made it easy to shop. I appreciate salesmen that are polite and helpful and Mr Duane certainly was that! Also the delivery men that brought my sofa were polite and very good. Put sofa in its place for me. It is also ice to have polite delivery guys with nice personalities too. I have told friends of my nice experience. Will go there first when I need furniture for sure. Horrible customer service. I went in and ordered my furniture. Was told I’d get a call once order was put in and a date for expected delivery. That never came; so, I called them to get it. Never heard back again; so I called again on expected delivery date to find out the date changed. I asked if it was normal for them to not notify customers of changes and basically was told, no. Just seems like if people are coming in and spending money (usually a good bit of it) you’d want to keep them updated on order status’s. At minimum shoot an email.

My husband and I were mattress shopping- immediately Valicia said hello to us. Being a retail store manager, Valicia is top notch when it comes to customer service. She listened to what our needs were- showed us where we needed to look- also she was handling several customers at once.

We had a wonderful experience dealing with this store! We were able to purchase our sectional two months in advance and have it delivered on our move in date. Duane made sure the process was seamless! We got a confirmation text a few days before that our sectional would be delivered on the day we requested. The day of, the delivery driver called us an hour before, and had our new sectional put together and in place before 2pm! It was delivered with no issues or defects. I went to many brick & mortar stores to test recliners. Found the perfect one at the local Ashley furniture store over the Columbus day weekend. It was very expensive and they said it would take 8 weeks to arrive. I took the model number and searched the internet and found American Furniture of Slidell. They had the exact same chair but at half the price!!! I ordered two! They told me up front that there was a very long back order on furniture across the U.S. and that is true everywhere. My recliners arrived today and I couldnt be happier. It took 3 months, but it was worth the wait. Thanks to Tim and the crew for keeping me updated along the way. Bravo Zulu, guys! Please dont think there is a scam because your furniture takes a long time to be delivered. It is that way no matter where you shop, and it is NOT the stores fault. I will definitely be buying more from American Furniture and will tell all my friends and family. They even delivered the recliners to Mississippi from Louisiana!

After months of waiting for a sectional from another company I stopped in and found one I loved more!They had it deliver in two days!! The employees were very nice and professional and delivery was top notch and even assembled for us. I messed up on measurements and had to have a different piece ordered and it only took four weeks. We just had to have that one delivered and the other taken back. Very smooth transaction and I’m Very satisfied with our sectional and service that I was givenWill absolutely recommend thanks y’all

If I could rate this company with ZERO stars I would. My experience has been completely ridiculous. Our bed was ordered on March 6th and we were told it would be delivered sometime in April.I called April 15th and was told it would be delivered the week of May 3rd.I called on May 5th and was told it would be delivered the week of May 16th.I called May 17th and was told it would be delivered the week of May 24th.I called on Wednesday May 26th and was told the bed was in stock, on the truck and I would be receiving a call to schedule the delivery for that Saturday (May 29th)No one ever called me to let me know it in fact was not going to be delivered.So I called once again on May 31st and they said it was never on the truck and they didnt know when it would be delivered....?So I called again on Saturday June 12th and was told my call would be returned on Monday. Still no call till this day... its been 13 days....Also if you look at the series of events not ONCE has American Furniture of Slidell called me to update me on my order or to let me know the delivery date was pushed back for the 50th time. I honestly wish I had gone elsewhere to get my furniture, and surely will never be shopping here again.

Ordered an entire house of furniture and decor. Everyone was super helpful and friendly and service was excellent. Delivery and setup was extremely efficient and professional. I will always buy from these wonderful people.

I ordered a new table from AF of Slidell, back in June/July. It took months to get in, but I understood the timing delay due to covid. I received the table and chairs in September. Once I put it together, I noticed multiple imperfections on the top. I notified AF of Slidell, and they were very quick to help by ordering me a new top. Again, it took 3 months to get the new top in, but once it arrived, they delivered it, installed it and were very professional about it. I am happy with the new top and the service.

The worst service I have ever received in my life! I would rather order a bedroom set from McDonalds get the order wrong and have them fix it then to ever order from this place again! I placed an order for a bedroom set on March 6,2021 it is June 1,2021 and still nothing! It has been rescheduled 6 times! It was supposed to be delivered Saturday May 29,2021 and no one called and no one showed! They are a horrible place to do business with. Go to Rooms to Go. GO TO ASHLEY FURNITURE, GO ANY WHERE BUT HERE! They are not professional at all!

The 3 stars is for the very friendly customer service. I’m sure the furniture is nice, but I would only recommend purchasing from here if you don’t need your furniture by any particular date. We are moving into an apartment in January, so I ordered my bedroom set back in November in order to avoid dealing with delays. I was told in November that the set we selected would most definitely be in by January. Well, December rolls around and I am told that there is now a delay on the set I selected, so I was given the option to select a different set. I selected a different, slightly more expensive set and was told it would be in by the first week of January. Well, December was coming to a close so I wanted to follow-up and see if we could pick up the set and we were told that the set was now delayed until February. We ended up just asking for a refund and ordering from somewhere else. Again, the customer service was great in that they were very friendly and made the refund/exchange process fairly easy, but it was slightly disheartening to be promised a set by a certain time and then facing delay after delay. But if you are just looking to replace something you already own and aren’t in a huge hurry, then I would give them a shot.

I will NOT be purchasing anything from them again! I get a call August 29 from them letting me know that my furniture was in. However, not everything was there. They let me know they werent sure what happened to it. That it possibly wasnt put on the truck to them. She said theyd get it out to me as soon as possible. I told them it was fine. The same day they delivered my sons bed. Well, some of it. Here we are today and we still havent gotten all the furniture. My son has this huge box sitting in his room with some of his furniture. We are in November and Im paying on furniture that we cant use. Ive emailed my sales person multiple times and shes given me the same answer. That itll be in next week. This place is ridiculous!!!!!

Ordered my sectional on June 15th. Delivery has been pushed back 7 times. I am currently waiting for the delivery right now as I was told multiple times today it was being delivered. 8 pm and still waiting. Im disappointed in the lack of communication. The delivery process was never explained to me. They just said the driver will call 30 minutes before delivery. Very unprofessional.

I ordered my sectional in July. I just received it today. Now under NORMAL circumstances this would be totally unacceptable, but Im sure we can all agree that 2020 has been anything but normal. We all have had to exercise extreme patience with a lot of things during these difficult times. It is because of this I gave American Furniture of Slidell 5 stars. Because while I waited for my sectional ( Sometimes impatiently. Im only human!!!!) my sales rep, Tim called me and provided me with updates on my sectional. On numerous occasions he offered me a full refund because of the delay. Which he explained to me was due to the pandemic and the manufactures having issues with getting materials. All I can say about that being the truth is that I reached out to 5 different establishments about purchasing the exact same sectional and were told the same things Tim had told me and their prices were much higher, so I commend Tim and his team for being upfront and honest about the delay and informing me with the updates as they were given to him. Yes, it was a long wait, but in the end Im satisfied with the service I received. I can tell you this. Their service is 100% better than Ashley Furniture in Robert, LA. I had a similar experience with them waiting on furniture for 5 months that I never received. This was not during a pandemic and they did not offer me my money back until I had to demand it back and threaten to take legal action against them. So after experiencing that from a supposedly well established franchise like Ashley during normal times. I can certainly accept a delay from a friendly local establishment with better customer service and during a pandemic. Thank you AFOS. I will definitely do business with you in the future. Hopefully it will be during NORMAL times.

He was very professional, found the piece, and informed me there were more pieces that can still be bought with this discontinued set. They lie about when you will get your order. Go elsewhere, youll get it much sooner. We were told 4-6 weeks. Then we were told the end of September. Then were told the end of October and now end of November. Its now 13 weeks after we ordered our couch. 13 weeks after this place has lied to us over and over again. I feel stuck. Ive waited this long and now they are saying December 20. Im upset and I feel mistreated. How can you lie to your clients like this?! Looks like we wont even have our couch for Christmas. They also tried to give us half of someone elses couch who also canceled their order from this place. I guess they wanted us to drive two hours twice because they couldnt get this right and they didnt even offer delivery for us having to wait so long. How embarrassing. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AMERICAS FURNITURE OF SLIDELL!!! BUYER BEWARE!! They are selling you items they dont actually have!!

I only gave 1 star because there was no option for 0 stars. I purchased my bedroom set in June and still have not received it. I was told that my bedroom set would be delivered in late July. It is now November and I still dont have my bedroom set that I paid for in full. Every time I call Im told it was push back and that they have no controll over it. Its been since freaking June. Im going to report this company to the media and the Better Busin weess Bureau.

Visited the store to view the items and it was dusty and kind of disorganized but it didn’t bother me as I’ve heard great things about the quality of the products. I wish I hadn’t ordered the salesmen lie about shipment dates and what they have in stock then they give you the run around and try to blame you. Waited a month for my order to them be told I would have to wait another month. I ended up requesting a refund. Customer service is TERRIBLE! I wish I listened to everyone who told me before

Updating my review. We ordered a couch in the beginning of May and was supposed to get it in 2 weeks. Kept getting pushed back and we finally got it August 2nd. They said it wasnt their fault it was the manufacturer and they did offer us a refund. I was extremely annoyed with how long it took, and wish they would let people know before buying during these times that it may take a while. However I am updating my review because I know theyre crucial to a business. The prices are awesome, and we love our couch. Hopefully its only like this because of the virus, I know many companies probably got things pushed back etc due to this. So that was the only problem on our end, so I would just suggest before buying to know that it may take a while to get right now.

Run as fast as you can. Anything that is order from these folks wont come in. They will offer you the floor model furniture or 1% discount on anything in the store. Its disgusting for a business to take your money knowing that wont ever order whats expected. Not to be trusted. Point blank, period.😠

Horrible experience with this store I made a purchase of almost 7000 dollars when I arrived the employees did not care that I was looking to pay them the almost 3000 dollars that the transaction could not be finalized for things from the bank, they told me that the bed was broken I called many times I was never contacted by the seller, no one could help me, I would never buy a piece of furniture in this store, this is done with a person who has the money in hand, I do not want to imagine someone looking to finance something, bad service!!

I will NEVER get any furniture from them again. I have ordered/paid in full 6 rooms of furniture in April and my shipment has been in pieces. I’m currently waiting on a item that was supposed to be delivered to me on Saturday June 20 and I did not receive. It’s Monday and I had to contact the store 3 times to find out my item was sold and it was in the store for about 2 weeks and no one communicated that with me to have it delivered. They tell you them will have some one call you back and they never do. They tell you they sent a text message when they haven’t. I would not even rate them a one

Horrible experience!!! I having been asking to speak to the owner but the delivery manager told me that I was not allowed to speak to him. I was told that she was the highest I could go. They have told me that they would call me back on several occasions about my furniture. I have been waiting for weeks to hear something but all I recieved is no response. The employees I have dealt with were extremely rude and unhelpful. If I would have know that this was the type of business I was going to have to deal with I would have never given them my business. They have just fed me lies the whole time.

Duane was courteous, not pushy, and very polite. He helped us find what we wanted and then assisted in setting up delivery. We will definitely be back when we decide to redo the living room.

I purchased a bed and dresser from American Furniture of Slidell. Duane was my salesperson and I am very grateful for all the help he gave me in deciding on my furniture. The furniture was delivered on the date specified. I was quite impressed with the delivery of the furniture. It was extremely well packaged to protect the finishes. The two young men that delivered and set-up the furniture were absolutely wonderful. They bought in each piece being careful not to bump walls or damage the furniture itself. They were friendly, courteous, efficient, and professional. I would not hesitate to purchase from American Furniture of Slidell again.

I went in on Tuesday and picked out our furniture. The salesman, Tim, called and got it ordered for us and on a truck before we even left the store. It was delivered to us and assembled Thursday. These guys are awesome, hands down the best furniture store in Slidell. They care about there customers and have an excellent support staff. They shipped my stuff on time and in good condition. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. The only criticism I have would be the awkward placement of the furniture and the front look of the store.

I ordered a table and chairs. Was told it would only take 2 wks. After several calls (because they dont answer phones) and 6 wks later it finally came in. They thought they were doing me a favor by giving free delivery which was no favor. They first sent a text saying it would be delivered on a Saturday which I could not do because I wasnt going to be in town. Then they said they would deliver on that Monday. When I called at 3:00 Monday they said it was on the delivery truck and would be here that day. So at 5:00 I get a text to reschedule delivery. Come to find out my chairs had not come in yet. So I lost a whole day of work (without pay) waiting for a delivery of product that wasnt even in yet. I would have to wait until Wednesday to have it delivered. So I was told I would be the first delivery on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and from 10:00-2:00 I tried to call the store over 15 times and nobody answered the phone. Finally get to talk to somebody and was told they would be there shortly. I asked what happened to being the first stop and you could hear a pin drop. Then they show up and they have the wrong base to the table. At this point I did not accept delivery of anything. The drivers had to go back to the store to pickup the right base. Finally got the table from hell delivered. I am still waiting to see if I will get compensated for 2 days of lost work. Which could have been avoided if they had told the truth to begin with. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone and would have been better ordering it directly from Ashley Furniture myself.

Tim was absolutely wonderful from the minute we walked in. The entire process was very smooth and we are very satisfied with our furniture. When everything was delivered, the loveseat seemed to have a little bit of an angle to it. When Tim called the next day to follow up on the delivery, he immediately offered to have it switched out even though it was barely noticeable. Outstanding customer service. The most horrific experience of my life. My sectional was ordered Apr 13 with delivery scheduled for 28th. It was pushed back to May 5th then to May 29th. We purchased a leather sectional and when it was delivered we noticed 3 pcs that were damaged and needed to be replaced. We immediately contacted the salesman (Dwayne) to inform him. If I’m not mistaken he’s the store manager as well. One recliner has a broken piece of wood that makes it look like the back of the recliner is collapsing, the console has a broken board at the bottom near the back and does not have the electrical plug. The other recliner is missing the bracket that connects this piece to the other pieces of the sectional. I called several times to get these pieces replaced and all I get is excuses. It’s now a month later and still no replacement pieces. If I don’t call concerning the pieces they would just walk away with my money because they sure won’t call you with a update. Although they finally replaced the console, neither of the recliners have been replaced. It’s now a month later and they have not replaced the recliners. I would not recommend this store to anyone as I feel this company has stolen over $2000 of my hard earned money. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

My experience was amazing, I actually ordered offline the guy was very helpful, and the set was delivered in less then 1 week. The color is brighter online then what it is in person, but I absolutely love it. Will shop here again.

Great and friendly service. I got the perfect living room set for the look I was wanting to achieve. They have a pretty good selection in the store but they also have online catalogs onsite too in case nothing on the floor jumps out at you. Tim was really helpful and the delivery guys did a great job as well.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were picking up a couple of recliners and a matching loveseat in a rented trailer. The loading guys were so helpful in making sure everything was loaded well and quickly. We were in and out in just a few minutes, and it was an exceptionally pleasant experience. Well be buying here again.

Tim was a great salesmen and got us exactly what we needed, wanted, and at a killer price! However, after coming back to pick up our purchases we had to wait over 35+ mintues (we were told the furniture would be ready for us to pick up immediately from the store front the day we came back to get it) for the warehouse to bring our furniture over. The other salesmen seemed to not care what-so- ever about our wait, played around on his phone, smoked a cigarette and lounged on the furniture. Would definitely only come back when Tim was the salesmen working the floor.

Great deals and quality customer service! Two people helped us and although I cant remember the womans name, she was wonderful! Tim is the other associate who helped us. He was wonderful as well and took his time and answered all of our questions. We didnt feel rushed to make a decision and we ended up with a great set for our sons room. Customer service is often lacking in many businesses but this is not one of them. We will return!

Duane was a great and helpful salesman. He keep the whole process smooth and professional. And the delivery and assembly process went just as good, they position the furinture to the postion of my wifes liking and check over all of it before signing the delivery papers. Will use Duane again for furniture, nicest salsman i came across by far that day.

I wouldnt rate these ppl at a one star. I bought a leather couch from them made by Ashley. Went to the store with one of the cushions and the salesman Duane didnt even want to see it. Will not buy anything from there again 1200.00 wastedVery dissatisfied would not recommend buying from there. Once they get your money they could care less.

We came into your store yesterday, we were looking to buy a new couch and matress,we walked through the whole store not one employee came up to us, looked up at us,asked if we need any help not even a hello.we left the store. We will be going elsewhere......

I bought my love seat just one week ago (Dec 12, 2015)and it is already breaking down on the back cushion. It looks as if there isnt enough stuffing in it. I love the style but I am calling today to see if they will come and fix it or replace it. If not they will not get another good review from me.It is Feb 9, 2016 and they still have not come to fix this loveseat. I will never ever do business with this company again! They said they ordered more stuffing and when it came to the house I was to call them and they would come and put it in. But when I called a couple of weeks ago they still didnt know when I would be receiving it. I am so dissatified with their services. I would not recommend anyone buying from them! I will be calling them tomorrow again to see what excuse they have this time. Im ready to send it back for a refund!!!!!
