Employees not sure of product location could be a lot of new hires. Self check out line was approx 30 to 40 people before the registers but moved fast

They always have what I need & want. Its also a great pleasure to shop there because the lines are not long. Someone is always available to help u & its peaceful 😊☺😀🙂

I see LOTS of complaints about SELF CHECKOUT. Here is another one! Everything is now self checkout!!! What a bunch of GREEDY owners. They make TONS of money at these stores and they place ALL the grunt work on the customer!!!??? I have incurable painful stage 4 cancer metastasis in my spine. I have to pick out my groceries and place them in the basket, then take the groceries out to scan them, then bag them, then load them back in the cart, then unload them in my car. This is horrific and VERY, VERY disrespectful to the customer. I will shop elsewhere from now on!!!!!!!!

Dirty, never stocked, rude employees, no cashiers. I stopped going here after the checkout line always became ridiculous. Go next door to Winn-Dixie, you will leave happier.

Its typical of any Walmart Neighborhood Grocery store, but it gets 2 stars because of the self checkouts. I prefer cashiers that work and have paying jobs. There is no savings to the customers, only to the multi billion dollar corporation. Sad times indeed!

I wish I could give no stars. Since they changed all registers to self check out. If I can find a scooter, that actually works. The aisle are filled with pallets and employees with carts picking out products. It is also hard to do self check out in scooter.. It is difficult to do ththe self check out

Always have what I need, check out is much faster now that they changed the route, and their baskets are much better than super Walmart

The store is convenient, but Im saddened by the fact that there are no longer human cashiers. The store has gone to a complete self checkout model. I understand about maximizing profits, but eliminating jobs always upsets me.

They always have really fresh produce. Im always leaving with a smile happy to be bring home some good food! In there 20times a week bc i cant keep away. :D :D

They were out of two of my favorite items. Fresh everything french bread and bottle caps candy. Great fresh produce dept. Check out went surprisingly good and fast.

The workers here are nice. All the workers I came in contact with were very knowledgeable and kind people.

Design flaw. New registers make it very difficult to get to the handicap scooters. You have to walk all the way around the registers back to the exit to get to them. They should be by the IN door to be accessible.

I dont care for the new set up. Many employees do not wear their masks fully covering their mouth and nose some even used them as chin straps.

Waited for someone to open the liquor cabinet for 45 minutes. The first guy came at 20 minutes and didnt have the right key. Then 10 minutes later, nothing. Another customer who was also waiting, went to customer service and they told him there was no key. I went to customer service and the associate asked his manager if she had a key. Her response. Im on lunch. She gave him the key, then another manager told him he couldnt leave this spot because he had a customer. Really Im a customer, who has been waited for 45 minutes for service. She should have helped the customers waiting. All she said was they can wait. Unprofessional people running this store.

I like the new look but am sad to see no cashiers just self checkout. It stays pretty stocked so I am usually able to get what I need.

Just about everybody loves walmart they always have good quality merchandise lots of it and food prices on most things

I do not like the new way this store is now they only have self check out so the lines are super long bc you have to wait for everyone to do all there own checking out I will start shopping somewhere else from now on bc of this .I miss the old way it was with the cashiers they where nice and friendly and everything was quick and easy

The people in the pharmacy department at Wal-Mart on Ponchartrain Blvd are wonderful. They managed to reduce the cost by over 70% and explained the details and side effects of each medication in a way that was easy to understand.

Self Checkout Only Store!The self check only causes some to be a little longer checking out so the flow of checking out slows up at times....

The main thing that is strange here is that you have to wait for an associate to unlock the liquor cabinets. This store is in a very low crime area. With how many people drink in LA, they should just have an associate standing there full time. You cant even put the liquor in your cart, they walk it up to the front for you. It makes people feel like their criminals in a sense and causes further inconvenience when you have to track down the person that has your alcohol. So strange.

Im tired of Walmart employees not wearing masks correctly- nose exposed, pulling mask down to talk, taking mask off outside. If Walmart expects customers to wear masks (as they should), then Walmart employee and management should set an example.

Im not a big fan of Walmart in general, but I find myself here often because the store is much smaller than the super Walmart and the staff is friendly. There are quite a few self checkout registers and I feel like I can get in and out quickly - especially if I am only there for a couple of items.

Walmart are taking out all the registers. Now its all self check-out.

It is a good grocery store. Easy to find what I need. Really great for quick trips. Sometimes it gets busy but if you can navigate self check out then you can zip in and out quickly. But you cant buy alcohol in self check out. Have to through regular check out or service desk to do that. Good selection ofproduce and meats. There is a large selection for over the counter meds.

Great fresh produce and a few items like paper towels and cleaning supplies, a small pharmacy section where you can pick up a prescription, buy some Boost or Ensure, or grab some vitamins or pain relievers.Self check lines make waiting as fast as scanning your own items, bagging, paying and out the door a breeze.

I love this Walmart. I literally live one mile away from a bigger Walmart, but drive 15 minutes out of my way to come to this store. Everything about this store is 100% better than the other one: the shopping carts are always in good shape and available, everything they carry is always in stock (never an empty spot on the shelves), the checkout wait is almost non-existent, and the employees are friendly. Even though there are only 1-3 cashiers at any given time, I never wait more than a minute in line it seems. I have even been instructed to go to the self checkout with an alcohol purchase for faster service. I feel that the employees go above and beyond to make sure everyone’s experience here is great and that they really care about how valuable your time can be. I highly recommend this particular Walmart store and will continue to go out of my way to come here. To show you how wonderful and quick this store is, I can drive 15 minutes here and back and do my grocery shopping in less time that it takes me to do the same at the Walmart 3 minutes from my house.

Store is very nice, clean, and well stocked. Most notable though is the staff. All are respectful, helpful, and very knowledgeable of their assigned areas. I am handicapped and it would be nice to have a few more handicapped carts. I frequently have to wait for one, only to find the battery dead.

Its by my house. Never have to wait to check out due to self check outs. Love them!

Checkout was fast, easily accessible

NOT 24 hours like most and it used to be. Walmart is the LARGEST retailer in the world. There is no reason to close these stores and not be 24 hours. It makes grocery much more convenient than coming after work when EVERYONE does. Not pleased Walmart.

Employees are friendly and do their job well.

The staff is friendly & I like the selection for the most part but other chain stores sometimes will have better quality. However, the new change with savings catcher only accepting Walmart Pay receipts lessens my reason to keep going unfortunately. Previously if I needed something not carried here I would go out of my way to be sure the bulk of my shopping was done at Walmart, but I am unable to utilize Walmart Pay every time I shop. I have no reason to not do my shopping at whatever store is most convenient now. Im very disappointed.

This Neighborhood Market was very clean and efficient. There were barely any customers there, which was honestly pretty great. It made my shopping trip quiet and easy. The associates were nice and helpful.

This is my local Neighborhood Market on Pontchatrain. Usually has everything I need in stock. Store is clean and employees are nice. Check out can sometimes be lenghty depending on number of registers open or bad timing of check out, but thats almost everywhere u go these days. Over all I give them 5 stars because I havent has a bad experience there.

Great WalMart Pickup Team!

Definitely beats going to a super walmart unless if you actually have to go there, almost always empty before 4 pm, after that, its a mess!.

This was actually a good place to go shopping, especially early in the morning.Clean store selling groceries only. Had a better selection of items than the regular stores.Has a bakery and limited deli, but no hot food section.

Horrible. This store has three self checkout registers and two registers with cashiers. This is not enough to accommodate the stores flow of people. I spent ten minutes shopping and forty five minutes waiting to checkout. I will not go back.

What I truly love is the prices and the self check out. I know what I need right where I need out the door....usually.When I went at a different time Wal-Mart didnt have enough cash registers open.
