I love this store and the employees! And of course all the stuff they have. There’s always something new each time I go

Horrible! Firstly I done a trade in which took them several hours for one small box. They wanted to buy 7 items for 6$ gave me back over half of my things In the box. Didn’t specify they did or didn’t buy my bigger items I walked out of the store and no one said anything about taking the high chair. 4 hrs later they call me demanding I pick it up before they close?? I live an hour away..Also they didn’t really have much of a selection anyways maybe they should be taking more from people?

Great Kids store that has pretty much anything you could need

I was kinda nervous after reading the negative reviews. The young employees were very nice and personable. I browsed through the store and noticed the items being sold for decent prices, so I assumed I would get a decent amount back for the bin of items I brought. How much do you think you would get back for 47 items? Including a $30 bouncer, some toddler shoes (some new with tags), a lot of clothes (some with $10/20 tags). Well I got $53 dollars back for those 47 items. It was my first time trying to get money back for my baby items and I was disappointed. I would rather just donate it to someone in need from my local community groups etc. It was an interesting experience. Glad I didnt bring my $295 pack n play and $250 stroller/carseat, who knows how much I wouldve gotten back for that. Only giving 3 stars because the employees were nice and the store seemed neat. Ive found a few awesome deals here and sold a few items with them. Honestly I probably would have been better off selling my bigger items myself.

Super picky about what theyll take. They actually refused several never used items because of wavy zippers. These items had literally been bought new, washed one time, folded, picked up and forgotten about until my daughter was too big for them. Also, their big winter clearance sale was on non-gold ticketed items only. Every winter item I picked up was gold ticket.

Everyone who works here are nice & friendly. Clothes are pretty cheap & are always in good condition! The only I can recommend for people coming in to shop or give stuff is be polite & respectful!

Huge selection of baby items and clothes. Really good quality and very reasonable prices.

Found great deals for my daughter but hardly anything for my son. They need more boy clothes.

Took in a huge lot of brand name clothes,told me the bag was too big??!? And smelled a little like cigarette smoke.No one in our house smokes cigarettes.Found some cute stuff here but not worth it.Go to Target. I had just washed everything right before bringing in.

Brought in a big tote of clothes, potty chairs, shoes, boots, and toys..they would not take them because the tote was too big!! Wth?? Was keeping the tote anyway, she told us that it had to be a smaller tote even though they were going to put in their own totes?? Makes no sense!! Wont take anything there again or shop there!

Some nice clothes. A few toys. Shoes are a hit or miss. I never can find clothes for 8 year old there. My 2 year old I used to find clothes galore for him no problem. Now I think they changed employees recently one Lady didnt seem to want to stop talking to the other lady to check me out.

The staff was very rude and disrespectful. I greeted them when I came in and then just kept on talking and pretended like they hadn’t heard me. I was coming in to sell some of my daughters toys and clothes. They just skimmed over everything and wanted to give my 10 but I refused and took all the clothes back and left without saying anything. Horrible customer service. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Very disappointed in my experience.

Never will I bring anything to sell nor will I purchase anything from this place! I brought in a tote with fairly new items most of them still had tags on them, they only took 8 items and wanted to give me $6 I walked around the store and saw clothes with holes in them and old dirty shoes. I feel like they don’t look through your bins completely. The staff is lazy and very rude. They seem like they don’t like their job and would rather be somewhere else.

Very cute store and they have lots of clothes and shoes for great prices. We got a lot of Nike stuff for my son for very good prices! I will go there now before I go to Carters!

Very rude workers, for the most part. Unorganized, and over priced for used clothing and toys. Go to mandeville location it’s way better, and better service.

Tried to sell them a swing and was first time trying to sell and they pointed to a touch screen and then pretended like we didnt even exist. Eventually they said we had to wait for them to evaluate it. They called back a couple of days later saying we have to pick it up and thats all they kept saying on the phone. If you want good service and better inventory do yourself a favor and go to the one in metaire they actually care about customer service.

Brought in a bin of 100+ items and they only took 12. There were many items that I would consider new and barely used but apparently it did not meet their standards. Staff was not friendly and they do not carefully look over items, rather they just skim through them so they could get back to their high school gossip. Horrible experience, if I could give zero stars I would.

I will never bring another thing to sell to them again. A couple months back I brought a co sleeper bassinet and swing to them and they told me both were missing parts. Which was a lie.Today I go in with a pack an play, used at the most 5 times. Was folded up and not broken when I brought it to them. The girl says “we can’t buy this it’s broken”. I know for a FACT It was NOT broken when I brought it in. It won’t even fold up anymore. Highly disappointed.

I went to sell my used childrens clothes. There was no one in line in the queue. Since I was the only one waiting I opted to wait for my bins. I only had two. I waited for almost two hours. When they sent me my text message saying my stuff was ready I go to the door (I was waiting in my car) and the door was locked and they were just looking at me like I was stupid. When i told them I was here to get my stuff they said they were closed. Thanks to the cashier BRITTANY who sent me my text message after you were closed.

Found some school shorts on the cheap while everyone else is out. So thankful for them.

I brought 4 bins of girls clothes to sell & within an hour I received a call saying they were going to take a full pass on the clothes. When I questioned why none of the clothes would be purchased, I was told that there was wear & tear and they were wrinkled. I was appalled that none of my daughters clothes were acceptable for trade & I asked if all of the clothes had been gone through. The woman assured me that everything had been processed & was not acceptable.It only gets worse......I pick up the clothes and they were not touched. The clothing was still in the same exact positions as they were when I brought them in, nothing was unfolded or even moved.Pure laziness, is all I can figure.I then took the same clothes to the other 2 Once Upon a Child locations in the area, those locations bought over $30 each of these clothes that were unacceptable according to the Slidell location.I will never again do business with this store. Terrible customer service & it is poorly managed.

Dont sell anything to them ever if you ever need cash for any reason. You wont get anything back for the price of your like new items. Also too over priced for even used things. This place is just not worth a thing at all. Just go to Wal-Mart.

Not the greatest selection of clothes. We took 3 boxes of our daughters clothes some of which had not been worn and they only accepted half a box worth giving us a grand total of 50 bucks. I thought that was kind of ridiculous. It is also based on each sales rep opinion of the clothes. So I was dissapointed with their sorting process.

Gently used closed for a great price

They are not professional they Miss inform you with times it takes to go through your stuff and then say oh well we got backed up! Which in my scenario wasn’t possible because if he time I got there and the time they quoted it would be completed. After the hour passed that I was quote they hadn’t even started and didn’t plan to start for more than another 30 then I would have to wait again once for things to be entered!!! A waste of my day !

WOULD NOT suggest anybody coming here to sell their childrens clothes/toys. They only take items that were never used.Normal wear and tear doesnt sell very wellFor now on I will be selling my child items elsewhere.

Disorganized mess of over priced used childrens clothes. The only thing worse than the store its self, is the stay at home moms that seem to flock here during the day to complain about their husbands while they block the whole isle with their side by side strollers packed with screaming kids.

The customer service is horrible.. when we walked in the store we wasn’t greeted. Our cashier Brittany, was horrible she was whispering,gossiping and Laughing with another “worker”. Brittany wasn’t polite or friendly during the transaction! Disappointed.

Staff was horribly rude. Everything is overpriced and you dont get much for the stuff you bring in. It is a rip off
