Updates:During the past 7 days, I have called Dennis at the number he provided, left voicemail message at his private voicemail, emailed him directly and asked Don who did the on-site estimate to forward an email to him... But I receive ZERO response from him. No one answers the phone. No one responds to my voicemails and emails.Original Post:Do Not Use This Company! They will ruin your stuff and show ZERO care. They will trap you... and once you find you have a problem that is caused by them, you will have no one to talk to in this company because they dont care.They lie to you when they come by to do the estimate and the load up. And then they take your money before your stuff arrives one week later. When your stuff does arrive, there are problems and your belongings will be damaged badly. When you want to talk to someone in this company, you can find no one to speak to, it’s like they never existed.

My suggestion before using this company is to drive by their warehouse unexpectedly at 553 Constitution Avenue, Camarillo, CA 93012. They constantly have their clients possessions strewn about the parking lot either in crates or loose. Theres no way that they could possibly be able to keep track of anyones belongings. Ive even seen the employees riding on mopeds around their building that had been dropped off for storage/moving. I heard that they had the contract for the local military base and I feel that it is a disservice to treat our service members this way and they should have options NOT to use this company for moving their homes. Its truly a shame how careless and unprofessional they are with other peoples belongings.

They did a good job on the previous move so used again. It was awful the second time around. They didn’t finish packing the first day per the order and the lead packer said he’d be there 8:30 am the next day to finish (when driver was arriving) but he never showed. Multiple phone calls revealed the agent we dealt with left the company and when we finally got ahold of the new rep it took multiple phone calls from us and the driver to get packers to show up to finish the unfinished job from the day before and they refused to authorize the driver and his crew to finish the packing job their own packers left unfinished. Two people arrived at 12:00pm and took an extended break just an hour and 20 minutes after arriving while the moving crew was working hard and then waiting for the slow packing crew to finish. I’ve done 15 professional moves in my life with full pack and unpack and this packing crew ranked not the worst but the second worst. Never would I use this company again. They packed a custom shoe rack in the walk in closet and broke the frame and were in denial at that fact. The driver, his crew and we were shocked at how slow and unprofessional Conejo Valley Moving’s packing crew was and how slow to respond their management was. Don’t use them! Pretty sad when the independent driver has to tell the packing person how to fill out her own paperwork.

Excellent in every aspect of move, from estimate to packing to pickup to final delivery on time! Our house was in the middle of recent fires and they showed compassion and care in staying in touch with us via cell phone calls or Tex messages, as we were out of the house for a week! Above all, their prices are very competitive. We would recommend them without hesitation, as they were recommended to us by a friend.

United movers came to my house, categorized everything, stayed in touch and showed up on time to pack our home. Spent 5 hours loading and were gone. We moved from southern California the north Carolina, it took them 4 days and on belonging arrived ahead of estimated time and under budget. We also shipped two vehicles and a Harley Davidson, all went well and they also arrived on time. Excluding our own packing which was long and time consuming, all aspects of our move through united was perfect, no surprises, on time and under budget, what more could you ask for.

While United Van Lines and Conejo did pick up some of my household goods in California and did move them to Texas, they failed to be able to move ALL of the scheduled items and then have refused to refund the full amount due because of their own failure and inability to fulfill the contract. They over-estimated the weight of the shipment that they charged basically $1.00 per pound and then when they could not perform to contract, they want to only refund $19.00 per hundred pounds ($.19 per pound). Beware of of their tactics to over-estimate then fail to be able to move everything on the estimate and then refuse to fully compensate. Forced to seek legal remedy because of their tactics. DO NOT USE United Van Lines or Conejo Valley Moving & Storage.

We had a very straight forward state to state moving experience with Rosario, her husband and her crew on both the loading and delivery stages. They were very professional, organized, and efficient. Our initial estimate took about 2 hrs, but came in very close to the final weight.

These men and women were great! On Time on budget and everything arrived safely as scheduled. I could not be more pleased.

Im with the military and they are the government contractors responsible for packing and shipping military belongings in port hueneme. Well the lost about half our or house. They are disorganized and unprofessional. There is no way you lose an entire crate of belongings to include a leather loveseat, queensize bed frame, a dresser full of clothes and A few family heirlooms, a washer, a recliner and other Miscellaneous items. If you are military and they show up at your door I advise you to refuse them access to your stuff. Absolutely, positively the worst movie g company I have even had the misfortune of having to deal with.

Worst moving experience ever! Do not use United Van Lines/Mayflower/Conejo Valley Movers especially if moving out of state. Signed contract well over two months in advance. Didn’t show up the day of the move, without a phone call or explanation. When I phoned them, they advised they did not have a truck for intra-state travel. Promised to show up next day. They finally arrived. They underestimated the load and placed some items in an overflow truck. Our entire household was placed in a trailer(s) that was never intended to leave California. It remained on trailer in their yard for 30+ days. Unloaded half the truck at their yard without our consent to work on trailer. Only when we we finally got an attorney, did our items show up within next three days (and overflow truck followed week after). Several pieces of expensive furniture damaged/broken and missing items as well. Even the movers on receiving end who unloaded were appalled!

Clean, nice and very careful packers. The delivery and set up was great! I will tell everyone who asks to hire Conejo Valley Moving & Storage. They are the best!

Conejo Valley Moving and Storage did a terrible job moving my family this summer, 2016. Items were damaged and they have not followed through with replacing the damaged items. 7 weeks after the move we are still trying to get a damaged television replaced. If I move again I will use a different company.
