I live in Arizona but ran out of my arthritis prescription while visiting southern California. Not having personal experience with any of the local pharmacies I had my doctor send my refill prescription to Walmart....I almost fell on the floor when I went to pick it up. $250.00!!! This identical prescription (30 count Generic Celebrex 200mg) cost $14.50 @ my pharmacy at home. I couldnt believe that the price in California could be THAT much higher so I walked away. I went online to wellrx.com and found 20 pharmacies within 10 miles where the price for my prescription was under $20!!!I ended up at a very friendly pharmacy just a mile or so away and filled my prescription for $17.50. Beware if you go to Walmart pharmacy without using insurance. I gave 2 stars because the Walmart pharmacist was a nice man...he doesnt make the prices.
