BUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I would trust buying a car off of Craigslist over this place. I bought my truck 6 months ago with low mileage, low and behold now all of a sudden the radiator cracks… they never offered me a warranty but claim they did. These guys are shady and won’t think twice about screwing you over! All I can say is look EVERYWHERE else before buying here and if you do decide to buy here take it to another dealership and get a warranty from them. Will never return to these guys no matter what!

This was my first time using this dealership. Micah treated me like an old friend from our first contact making the appointment on the phone. He did a great job keeping me up to date on the status as the work was done. Everyone I saw at the dealership was friendly and helpful. All work was done in a very reasonable time frame at a very reasonable price. Waiting area was clean and tidy. All in all a top notch dealership. Thank you Micah for the great experience. I will be back with my other 3 Dodge products as the needs arise.

Car buying experience was fine but service Dept at this dealership and Durant location is not good. Our windshield in our almost new Jeep Grand Cherokee was leaking water into the car. Made an appt with Durant Freedom, left the car all day and went back to get it and their windshield people didn’t show. Made 2 more appts with no shows again and no call from them. Got tired of that so took it to Sherman on 8-23. They ordered a windshield and said they would call when it arrived but never did. When I called today 9-22 (“yes it’s here”. I asked how long it had been there. He said “I didn’t ask that question”. Getting tired of people not doing their jobs. In the meantime my car is getting wet every time it rains!

Contacted the dealership on a vehicle o found posted online without pictures. After talking to a salesman I was told the vehicle is in service getting ready for sale. I told them I was interested and that I would pay a security deposit to hold. The salesperson agreed that would be good. I was waiting on pictures before placing the security deposit and they wouldn’t reply back to me. Then finally they replied back, that vehicle is sold. Horrible service to string people along. Do not recommend.

Had taken our vehicle to durant and worked on several times but still had issues .so we decided to try sherman and the staff was friendly and asked us many questions and they listened to what we said . They explained things that had to be done as well as needed to be done . We left all the maintenance and receipts with them and they told us what we needed to know . They fixed the issues and jeep is running fine . I believe they are a hard working honest group . I appreciate their honesty and getting our vehicle fixed . Bought a truck here in November 2020 which I was driving back to register in California. The dealer had to do several repairs including fixing a faulty break sensor which was reporting on the dash. I waited and they assured me everything was corrected. When I finally took possession everything appeared good to go with no check engine light. I then drove it to California without any problems. It took the dealership an entire month to send me the registration and title information despite my bank overnighting them a check as soon. As i took possession.. I then took it to my mechanic to smog. As soon as he plugged in his diagnostic tool to do the smog test, the check engine light came on and it failed the test. It reported a failure in the break module. Now I have get a temporary registration and drive this all the way back to Sherman TX and see if they can fix what they missed.

What a joke! I should have listened to all of my friends that said do not use them! They became upset when I did not want to pay for ALL of the other repairs they found wrong. I instructed them to just fix what I brought the car in for. I had to remind them again of why I took it to them. They did charge me 3 times the original quote! Sneaky, price gouging, thieves!

Typical sales tactics. Let me check with my manager to see what I can do.. One salesman actually argued with me while I was waiting.. He stated that no one asked for a price anymore, they expect to pay sticker. I said, well then they must not be smart.. He told me I was wrong... Wow... Good sales approach.. I did not buy. Was done at that point.. It is a nice location and I have bought work trucks from this location before they changed to Freedom.. I will not go back.

Had a deal made to buy a truck and have it delivered from these guys. My husband could hear the salesman fighting with another salesman over which one of them would get to sell the truck. One of them hid it from the other on the lot and there was apparently another interested party involved. We offered a deposit My husband was assured that we had dibs and we started the process to purchase and have the truck delivered the next day. He sent over his drivers license, and insurance info. 30 minutes later he got a call saying the truck had sold through the other salesman. No respect for each other or the customer. Purely unprofessional.

After receiving multiple emails from Kimberly Mahoney (internet sales rep) to come see a truck I had viewed on-line, I made an appointment, and drove to the dealership. I was greeted warmly, and introduced to a salesman who would show me the truck. Guess what...the truck wasnt there! They told me that it had been borrowed the night before by a client getting his car serviced. So, am I supposed to believe that of all the cars on the entire lot, they just happened to loan out the one I made an appointment to see? They were very willing to show me some much higher priced vehicles. I call it the old Bait and Switch. Additionally, is it fair to call a vehicle a one owner if it is being loaned out to any and everybody? Beware!

Not the biggest dealer, not the newest latest and greatest but they are pretty good. Dealership looks pretty tired. Service drive is tiny, service writers are good at what they do.Update:Service writer called and told me my car was ready but that a check engine light was on, and that it indicated a small vapor recovery system leak. There where no check engine lights on when I dropped it off. I told them if 50 dollars would find and fix it, do it. They did nothing. The previous day I had driven the car over 300 miles with no problems, my appointment with dealer was over a recall item. After getting my car back I looked it over and could find no problem, I stopped to fill it with fuel and surprise! The gas cap was missing, amazingly I am fastidious about how I handle my gas cap, it always goes to a certain place and is always returned to its proper place, I had bought fuel 2 days before the dealer got the car and drove 300 miles before taking it there, all that to say I think someone wanted to chase a problem of their own making. A vapor recovery problem is a difficult one at best and diagnosis can be very expensive especially if the dealer is involved. Be Aware that you could be next.

I had a 2005 dodge dakota driver seat with the recliner locked up in the forward position. They simply couldnt do anything for me and tried to sell me a new one for over $150...... They couldve at least tore it down to the frame and release the mechanism!! Perhaps theyre too over qualified for that type of work..... R&D Salvage saved the day!!

I’ve been so taken care of in my life. My wife and I own a Chrysler Pacifica we really love. We had some things not quite feeling the same for us. We took it in to get it taken care of and it came out better than we expected. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond the work we thought would be needed.The person I was impressed with the most, is Scott. Scott kept me in the loop of what was happening with my car and made my family and I feel as if we’re part of the Hoyte family. I have a 2018 Ram 3500, with 70,000 miles on it, that I bought in August 2020, at another dealership. It had been serviced before I bought it, but after I got it home, small things started showing up. The passenger window wouldn’t roll down from the driver side. Nothing showed up on the dash menu regarding tires or tire pressure. Then, the DEF system quit using DEF (The gauge showed full without the needle moving for two weeks). I took it to the Freedom Sherman service center location, and told them about the truck, and that I wanted it checked from bumper to bumper. I received a call the next day telling me that the DEF system had diesel in it and that had ruined the pump. It was suggested that I had mistakenly put diesel in the DEF tank, and I assured them that I had not. I was told $2200.00 and I asked about the tires and window not rolling down. I was told that they had a diesel mechanic working on the DEF system and it would go over to someone different to check out the electronics. Three days later, I get a call that the truck is ready. When I pick it up, the guy I had been dealing with was not there, and the new guy was clueless about what had been done. I was escorted to a cashier, and dumped off, while the guy from the service department disappeared. $2500.00 later I finally see what they had done in writing. They had replaced the DEF system. That was it. The window still didn’t roll down and I still don’t know why nothing about the tires shows up on the dash menu. The overall experience was: The employees there had an underlying attitude of “You need us, we don’t need you”. When calling or interacting with different individuals in the service center, they were flippant and dismissive. The young man (Alex) that I primarily dealt with was nice but seemed either clueless or trying to be slick when avoiding my questions. I do not recommend this place, or any other place in this chain.

Wouldnt even take my money to hold it even though I was the only person looking at it until my salesman started asking questions for me to the management. This was the easiest, most relaxed car buying experience Ive ever had. Jeremy Klas was our sales person and was really easy to work with. We asked many questions and if he didnt know the answer he told us he didnt know and would find out, instead of making up something like Ive had happen in the past. The negotiation process took less than 20 minutes and we got everything we wanted. We will definitely be purchasing from this dealership in the future.

I recently bought a newer model Range Rover from them and purchased a warranty that they set me up with. A few weeks later the engine went out and the Range Rover dealership in Dallas said that there’s no way anyone could have known that this problem could have happened. So the guys that had Ed Morse towed my truck up to their dealership and they replaced the entire engine with a new engine at no cost to me from Land Rover. They did an absolutely phenomenal job with customer service and they did business the right way. Clay took care of me in the service department and I would highly recommend anyone to get their car there just because of the way they handled the situation with me.

I had an oil change and tire rotation with no appointment and was out in less than an hour. I have had oil changes over the years at Bonham Chrysler and it takes a minimum of 4 hours and thats with an appointment. Freedom from now on. Ask for Scott in the service department very friendly and professional.

These guys worked so hard to get me into the truck I wanted and I couldnt be happier. They even ran me through an impromptu pizza buffet that they ordered for their employees that day. When trading out vehicles and moving my toolbox over, the salesman promptly grabbed more staff to help out. I went in just to browse and they gave me enough of a deal (or at least made me feel likeI was winning) that I left with a new truck. Their service department is outstanding and my first oil change was over in a fraction of the time I planned. From what Ive experienced, they seem to care about the people and process.

Called the service department to see about getting an oil change on my Jeep Grand Cherokee - spoke to Alex Lopez, he told me they were not too busy at the time, probably 30-45 minutes. Pulled in, Alex met us at the car, took the car right back. I walked inside the building for a moment to see if I could find a drink, came back outside and sat on the bench for few minutes, saw my car being pulled around - was completed in 20 minutes! Great service, great customer service provided by Alex!

While installing the add ons we purchased, they removed and LOST a cover in the back seat area by driver side door. They refuse to acknowledge or respond to make it right. If they won’t fix a small mistake they made, they aren’t going to fix a big issue.

He wasn’t willing to even try to make a deal with us just a very rude by have a good day. The director called us back and told us he wanted to earn our business, however it was one lie stacked on top of another. Be aware if you ever consider doing business with these individuals.

So my fiance and I recently purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey we did 0 down on a trade in not a bad deal however our first payment isnt even do yet and the touchscreen went out couldnt use the A/C and my called them to see about bringing it in to be looked at he was told that they wouldnt look at it because we had not purchased an extended warranty and that radios were expensive to fix we went to the dealership and was instructed to take it to the service dept the kid there told us it would $130.00 just to look at it!!!! he left a not so pleasant review online and within minutes our sales rep Jason Brown called telling him he should not have left the review and instead should talked to him well when we called guess who wasnt around also my fiance quoted the words of the service tech he then assured us if we brought the vehicle by then the service tech would look at it free of charge we did not return that day well on the way home the touchscreen started working again the following day we were taking our roomate to work and the back up cam stopped working again we took our car to the dealership yet again and our lovely sales rep was sitting outside my fiance told him about the back up cam not working again also we noticed that the front end needs aligned so while we were there we mentioned it he told us the issue was with the radio and the alignment and that we wouldnt be able to get the vehicle serviced on a Friday and that we would be better off taking it somewhere else someone should probably tell him that would void our warranty on our vehicle!!!!

I came to Hoyte for an oil change and tire rotation and got in right away. They also fixed a couple recalls on my jeep and fixed one other part that I had broken on it! Very strange thing when you see a car listed on their website and you call them in the morning at 9:15 AM to confirm the availability of the car since we were driving 85+ miles and you want to make sure you are going for something real and the salesman assures to you that the car is available and not only that, he even told me that he will go grab it and get it ready for me to test drive it.I got there around 11AM and it didn’t take MR Dean the salesman 2 minutes to figure out that this car were sold just half hour before we arrived!!Really? and how come you told me you’re going to grab it? I HIGHLY recommend salesman Max Mantooth here at Hoyte!! Im a 1099 worker with less than perfect credit. I went to 4 other dealerships because a salesperson said they could make a deal happen, then couldnt. So by the time I started talking to Max I was extremely hesitant about trying it again. Max made it happen!! And was given a very fair trade allowance on my older Ford Ranger. He went above and beyond to make this dealhappen. Very satisfied customer!! If he didnt know- he would get the answer and quickly get back to me. The whole process was smooth and he even had the truck delivered to my home with a full tank of diesel! Need a vehicle????? This was one of the best car buying experiences I have had. Kiki Robinson helped me remotely, then made the buying experience seem less. I had a rent car and she assisted me in logistics for the return - she set up drivers to deliver the vehicle. I don’t know how I could have improved the buying experience. The drivers who delivered the vehicle were great too.

I recently purchased a truck with Hoyte and David Harrison was the salesman that ended helping me. He is extremely knowledgeable with all of the vehicles they have, options of upgrades and simply making sure that you end up with a vehicle you want and arent pressed into buying. He was able to get my payment in my price range after restlessly doing whatever he could to get me there. All in all I highly recommend David Harrison, great person and salesman that wont push you into anything you dont desire.

Came into this location last Wednesday May 6th 2020 to get my battery replaced that was under warranty with the Dodge Hoyte in Plano and was given a corroded bad battery but was told that it was a new battery. The only reason I found out that it was bad was because my alternator had to be changed that same day and the mechanic saw that the battery had corrosion and rust on it. The battery was tested 4 times by 4 different people and when I brought it back I was told that the battery was just checked and it was good and that all the other readings were incorrect!!! I had to go back and forth with 2 people including the service manager just get the battery tested in front of me. The service manager insisted that my bad alternator caused the battery to go bad and corroded within the 4 minute drive from this location to across the street at Lowe’s where I met the mechanic, but when he finally tested the battery that he said they’d just tested and was a good battery, it came back bad!!!!!! I typically don’t do reviews but this experience was definitely eye opening. They are now supposedly giving me another battery, but after this experience I’m leaving straight from here and going to the Hoyte in Plano that I purchased both the car and battery at and have them double check because this is too much and truly disappointing.

So I was out of a car as mine had broken down, I needed something fast and only had $1000 to put down with everything going on in the world right now. So I see a nice Hyundai Veloster for sale, go right away take a look at it. They were nice and the dealership clean so I’m feeling comfortable purchasing a vehicle from them, we work things out and they get me going with what little money i had due to the covid-19 situation things finish and I’m off the lot. Have the cars tires looked at and there is a bubble in one tire and something coming out of another, they fix the bubble tire but service said they don’t see anything wrong with the other tire. I don’t know how, but whatever. I appreciate the free tire fix. I have owned the car 2 1/2 weeks. Yesterday it has to be taken to the shop, my check engine light comes on so I take it to the nearest shop as the car is not running great at this point the other shop looks at it and says the core ignition is bad causing a mid fire in cyl 1 and that the spark plugs have not been changed or maintenance very well, I get that it’s a used car but to not own the vehicle 3 weeks and it’s already in the shop and I’m out of pocket on more money that I don’t have right now, makes me scared to buy another car or recommend them to anyone.

I traded my cars - and when I signed up they saddled me with an 11% interests rate. 1 month later - we trade in my husbands truck - and now I have a 4% interests. They did not pull other credit bureaus to get me the best deal. So, not too happy with the service. If you mess with peoples money - they wont come back and do business with you. Just saying.

In and out .. efficient recall service. My only complaint may be based on coincidence. After a previous visit for an oil change and another recall I began recieving daily emails from Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealerships all over the country asking for reviews, following up on services done or asking to schedule work on cars I dont own and have never owned. I tried to reply that they had the wrong person to no avail, then I played along and posted scathing reviews of places I had never been, then I authorized services on vehicles I didnt own....now I just delete them, but seriously WTF?

Bought a 2007 jeep liberty bran new with 35 miles on it. Didnt have it a month and it had to go to the shop at this location. Didnt get it back for over two months. They made mistakes by ordering the wrong computer parts. Then put the old one back in when they had the new one. I wouldnt buy from any Dodge place if my life depended on it.

My mothers Dodge Dart had a recall. We called Hoyte a week in advance and made an appointment for 1:30 pm. They let us know it would only take 20 minutes to fix.We arrived at 1:15 pm. After waiting an hour and a half, we told the service employees we had to leave at 3 pm to pick my son up at school. Guess what, they had not even started. They simply brought the car out and said there was no way it would be done by 3 pm. They said they were very backed up. When I asked why they made an appointment and said only 20 minutes, he just said they were very backed up. No apology. The elderly gentlemen also waiting said they told him his vehicle would take 1 hour and he had been waiting 3.When we called to remedy the situation, thet said some guests with appointments were not even seen because they were so backed up like that helped. We now have to bring the car back Saturday at 8am, but if we are a minute late, they cannot guarantee the will get to our vehicle.Very terrible guest service. Drive north on 75 to Classic of Texoma. They have always treated us right and actually care about their customers.
