The folks at Discount Tire, Sherman, rose to (my) the occasion . . . I had a fast leak in a tire. And although the wait time was a bit long (lots of customers waiting), they removed a screw & a nail from the tire and effected a flawless repair. Had tires balanced on truck i just got, very professional and answered my questions and seemed helpful need it get on highway or road not in Denison or Sherman as they are Terrible roads streets and highways,supposedly in the name of progress

I always get a good price per tire. Never had an issue with service. The wait can take a while, but that is literally just because they get so much business. If you want to get served quickly either be first when they open or set up an appointment by app or online.

The front office was very pleasant and helpful to order a replacement tire and call me. However when I came in I had to ask to have it put on my car and then they just threw donut spare into the trunk without securing or replacing tools as it should have been.

After a number of embarrassing and costly mistakes (on the part of DT) made over a number of months throughout the summer and fall, the manager, Marshall, busted his rear to make everything right. I was prepared to take my business elsewhere, but I will stick with Marshall at DT. He was truly a stand up guy for me.

Great prices but they obviously dont know the meaning of an appointment. I set an appointment up for 230pm but was told since I arrived I wont be seen at that time. The app says to arrive early and this is the second time they couldnt keep an appointment for a simple tire rotation and balance. HEADS UP IF YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT PLAN TO BE THERE A WHILE BECAUSE THEY APPARENTLY CANT KEEP TO THEM. Fyi there was a manger standing next to me and he didnt care at all, looked like he was there to just collect a pay check. From now on Im going someplace else for tire service. Discount tire lost my respect after this.

Very dishonest people. Their customer service seems fine only because they are hiding their dishonest business practices. I came in from out of town (I live in San Antonio) to get a tire rotation for which they charged me, and they didn’t even do it. The Assistant Manager I spoke with (I believe his name was Josh) was highly disrespectful and had a terrible attitude. Do your job properly and your customers won’t complain.

Customer service wonderful 1st time here, got a tire rotation in and out 20 min. Drive a 2016 equinox drove off got to light pushed tired button they didnt even put air in the tires disappointment...

Price match, veterans discount, itemized bill showing all charges. Quick and to the point great experience. $40 a tire for mount balance and install is a bit steep, but it comes with rotations and balancing for the life of the tire, so its worth it. I started at the end of the day and they didnt have 4 in stock, but said I could show up anytime next business day and get them all installed. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for tires. Devin is a good dude.

Was straight with us on our needs and best of all did not push an upsell on us even though we were there for an (unknown to us at the time)Free Service! Yes, free. We did not have an appointment, but enjoyed a short walk and half a cup of coffee and we were good to go.

I called Discount Tire and spoke to them about some new tires and rims. They said come on in I was in 2 or 3 minutes Ive been at their location and I called around 3:35 p.m. Saturday the 20th 2021. But 5 p.m. I was out the door with new tires and rims all the way around my car. Devon was the one that I spoke with on the phone that helped facilitate this.If it wasnt for him I could havent gotten tires and rims as quick as I did that day. This is the place to go to if you need tires and rims.

I have used Discount Tire at three locations over the past couple of years. Pricing is very competitive, but service is outstanding. At each location, staff is helpful and professional. Appointment times have always been on time. Walk ups have been taken care of in a very reasonable timeframe. The consistency from one location to another speaks volumes to the organizational systems and training programs.

I stopped by to have the air in my tires checked Thursday evening. I was told that they did state inspections. It was too late to have it done so I arrived before they opened the next morning and had to wait about 20 minutes (lots of folks were there early). After waiting I was informed that they didnt provide that service. I originally searched on Google to find inspection locations.

About to replace motor mounts when they, at Discount Tires explained it was my tires wearing unevenly causing my car to shake. They saved me a bundle!!

Ill give the front of the house a 3 star. The guys up front are always helpful and courteous. The back of the house gets 1 star. I have sat here and watched 2 guys work on one truck for the last 2 hours and it all they had to do was swap wheels and tires. None of them use the lifts, they would rather drag around jacks. There is zero sense of urgency. They really need someone in the back pushing these guys to get the work out. Mount and balance on 4 tires shouldnt take more than an hour and thats on the slow side. Guys are just walking around aimlessly like they just got dumped. Put them all on flat rate pay and see which ones can make it, keep them and drop the rest.

I have consistently received a high level of service at this location. I appreciate speed of service, ability to make appointments and the service teams ability to deliver on time.

Frendly and knowledgeable and every low prices but the wait is way beyond reasonable. Ive been here over 2 hours and they havent even pulled my truck in yet. The shop staff is moving around so slow they look like sleeping zombies. I dont recommend this store if you can avoid it.

I wanted to give this store wonderful reviews. I pulled over into their parking lot, during an extremely busy time, totally freaking out. There was a kitten stuck in my engine and I had no idea what to do. Immediately two gentlemen that worked there (unfortunately I didn’t catch their names) stopped what they were doing and worked together to get this kitten out of my car. good people work here!

Do not use this store!They are understaffed (confirmed by an employee) and make the customers wait longer due to it. Also they take cars out of order from the time they are dropped off! (Personal experience!) In my eyes that is questionable business practices!!I dropped my car off at 12:13 pm today, for a wheel balancing and checking the tires. I even paid for the services in advance. I was told it should be ready in 1 hour to an hour 20 minutes. No problem. I was also told there were 6 cars in front of mine.I come back at 1:25 pm and my car has not moved. I am told that they got 6 cars out. That it would another 90 minutes before could do my car and that 6 more cars are before me!!In short that they have taken 12 cars (the first 6 and the 6 new ones) to be worked on before they would get to my car!!!!! And remember, they were paid IN CASH, IN ADVANCE for the work to be done!I was a return customer, I found Discount Tire in the 90s when I lived in California. They were my first choice to work on my new car. I am a disabled Veteran and A Senior Citizen to boot!And they treat me this way???Now for the icing on the cake.I called to get the district mangers number. I am given to the store manager instead. He tries to get me to come back, to get the work free. But I would have to drive 70 miles round trip for it. I was in the Sherman area today, that is why I stopped at that store.I refuse and want the name and number of the district mangers. He refuses it, but says he will give the regional office number. I call it and the store is closed til further notice!! He gave me a bogus number on purpose, thinking he would get in trouble. WRONG!!!!I called the 800 customer service number and I am waiting to hear from the local Vice President of the area on this issue!Boycott the Sherman Discount Tire and shut this store down for good!

Wow. Without a doubt the most amazing process I’ve ever seen. Been getting tires for over 40 years. Never seen a system so well executed. Had called and ordered the tires over the phone then set an appointment. When I arrived an employee outside asked me my name and appointment time. I then literally pulled right up to the bay within 5 min. of arriving. 20 min later I was leaving after having had 2 ties installed. Good job to all the employees and especially the management that dreamed up and implemented the process. Genius. All that being said my appt was during the week at 2:30. So the in and out speed may vary on a weekend.

Discount Tire in Sherman is full of friendly, knowledgeable staff. Its the first place and only place we go to, when we need a tire for our truck or SUV. Their service is amazing, and so is the insurance service they provide on tire replacement. Its nice to get that old school service every single time, and we appreciate your staff. They are great people.

Casey really helped me out this morning and got me in and out of here. He was polite, helpful, and all around great choice for being upfront and representing this company. Discount tire might not be the cheapest out of everyone but between the experiences I have had here and the location in McKinney off 380 & 75 I will always choose discount tire over any prices or deals other tire places may have! Customer service is everything! And you guys sure treat your customers right!

This place is phenomenal. Great facility ran by a bunch of great guys. In and out in a timely manner and the manager Marshall runs a very nice operation and tight ship. Would highly reccomend and will return!

They met me outside and held door open for me and my Walker. They were really swamped. Promised completion time for 1215 pm and they were promptly on time. Very Peaceful and friendly atmosphere, as well as store and restrooms were clean. Will definitely use their services again.

The managers and staff at the Sherman location are great. Very helpful, attentive, prompt and service focused. I had an appointment but decided to come in earlier to see if I could be worked in and they helped me immediately. I explained to them what was going on with my tire, and they decided to look at all four tires and just make sure everything was fine. They found the problem and gave me a solution, and they didn’t try to recommend or sell me anything that was unnecessary. We have four vehicles that have tires from Discount, and I highly recommend them.

Wow this place has great customer service. I got tires there a few times many years ago but have not bought tires there lately due to unforeseen circumstances. Twice since I have taken both of our vehicles with nails in the tires and they fixed it for free and I didnt buy our current tires there. I will definitely be buying tires there the next chance I get. Customer for life!

Good prices, but they are really busy so be prepared to wait for a bit. I ended up shopping and eating lunch and by the time I got back my car was finished.

Waited from 3 1/2 hours to get two tires on my truck. Then going down the highway I felt my whole back end of my truck shaking. I thought i was fixing to loose a tire. Went to the Discount in Mckinney and they told me the tires were not put on my truck correctly . Had to wait another 45 min for them to do it right. Thank fully when I left there it was all ok.

Usually I try to not leave bad reviews because I believe everyone has off days and sometimes things just happen. However, my (pregnant) wife and her mother ran over something and needed to get what should have been a simple patch. They went over to only be told they couldnt patch it because of the position. I understand that they make money off of tires and I completely understand them wanting to up-sell a tire to these two stranded women. However, we declined and asked if they could just put on the spare we had to get them on the road (because I knew it could probably be patched and Ive still got some time on the tires before I buy a new set) and how much that would be. The guy said it would be free, but they would then have to wait 3 hours before they could get to it. Now, Im in sales myself (trailers and tires) and I understand wanting to sell something as thats how I make my money, but I could NEVER pull something like that just because Im upset they didnt buy what I was selling. Fast forward... my sweet mother-in-law proceeded to change the tire by herself (again, my wife is pregnant) with a 4 way I keep in there for emergencies in 90 something degree weather right in front of all of the bays. Thankfully, someone from the bays saw what was happening and had the decency to lend a hand. They couldnt remember his name 100%, but believe it was Josh. Hopefully he gets to see this because hes the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.Got the tire patched for $10. Gave the guy a $20 bill and said have a nice day. Money was not the issue; I knew Id be replacing the set in the near-ish future, but I will certainly not be buying any tires from them in the future... unless Josh is running the place.

They took almost two hours to do a job that they told us would be an hour. So frustrating! They need to stick to their word. And not take people’s cars before ours if we were here first. Especially since the job we needed was so easy and would take 5 minutes to do.

I have been a discount tire customer for 5 vehicles... but this location now charges a deposit for ordering tires... they never have in stock my tire size normally so I have to order. I call to order tires and make an appointment and was asked for a deposit but would not accept the discount tire card!!! I was told this is a regional managers “new” rule. I ordered my tires from the Cross Roads location no problem no deposit. I won’t go back to Sherman except for free rotations!!

I took mom to discount tire in Sherman town center last week to get 2 tires for front of her car. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me. 5 reps ignored us. My mom is handicap. Told us to have a seat some would be with us in a few minutes. We sat there 30 minutes. Finally I told mom we’re leaving going somewhere else. As we’re leaving someone hollers I’m about to see about you. No thanks. We went to discount tire and wheel on texoma parkway. Man spoke to us as soon as we entered. Tires were on the car and we were gone in less than 25 minutes. I’ll never go to discount tire in Sherman again

Guys work hard. Tires are a good price. Free rotations and flat repairs. My family’s been going to discounts all over the U.s since they been around and we more times then not get great service.

We always get tires from discount. They always have great customer service. After some tire issues on a busy Thursday morning, I called ahead to get an appointment. They weren’t busy so they said come on in. 15 minutes later I arrive and they are swamped and I had to be in class in about an hour. Turns out they already had me on the list to get in. I got two new tires and my other tires inspected in 30 minutes and was able to make it to class on time.

Brought my SUV in due to steering wheel shake at 60mph. Discount performed a roadforce balance and it completely fixed the issue. Drives like a new car.Made an appointment and was on here for 45 minutes total. Couldn’t be happier.Thanks again.

I have 5 different vehicles and a couple trailer I put tires on,so I do a fair amount of business with Discount tire. The cross threaded a wheel stud on my vehicle,that doesnt really bother me. Whats really annoying is that they give a votcher to go somewhere else to have it fixed witch waste at least have a day.my time is very precocious to me and the least they could do is offer me a discount coupon for my next visit.
