Mark and Jordan went out of their way to ensure my vehicle was fixed as soon as possible after discovering my radiator was leaking. I was traveling from out of town for a wedding and they did everything possible to get parts and get my Jeep repaired so I could get back home in a timely fashion. Jordan even worked through his lunch to make it happen. Would definitely recommend the service department!

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! I wish I had read these reviews before making the 1.5 hour drive down to this dealership. As many have mentioned this place is your typical shady dealership. I looked at a truck online and spoke with 2 different salesmen and once I arrived and actually sst down to talk numbers they raised the price almost 12,000 above the listed price online. The cherry on top is they had the audacity to email me a link for a survey and the link didnt work. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time.

The only reason to provide a 1 star review is due to the fact that there is not a 0 star review. Look online at their New inventory, but buyer beware that they will add a dealer markup of roughly 10% in my case anyways to the MSRP just to pocket more but yet still call it MSRP. Thats just for starters. Per their salesman, they are a Kelly Blue Book value dealer. Their online calculator valued my trade in Good Condition at $52,331, yet they wanted to only offer $43,000 which is less than in Poor condition. Needless to say the $15,000 swing in price when combing both above conditions was enough to walk away and go somewhere else as no other dealership works in that method. Find another place to spend your money since they only care about making all they can. *Note the pictures the payoff on trade was $20,000 making the equity $32,331.

Absolutely wildly inaccurate online pricing. After talking to a rep on the phone, another rep came on the phone and told me since we have a stock shortage the price is $51K. The online pricing showed 39K. A $12K difference. This is my only experience with them but based on that alone, I would not trust them.

I had went in to test drive a new truck. I got back to the dealership so they could drive mine for a possible trade. Before they got back from driving my truck I received an alert on my credit that a hard inquiry had been done at shelbyville chrysler. To my surprise I had not signed a credit application or even seen a deal on paper. The sales manager told me they pulled my credit from my old file from when I purchased my last truck. I was very upset to think fraud would be done so blatenly.I left went to Bob Allen Chrysler Ram bought a new truck and would never do business with Shelbyville Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM ever again. Also disputed there tactics.
Drove an hour to see a Jeep Renegade and no mention of a $3000 markup before driving out from Richmond. They are not willing to work unless we finance through them saying they are losing money without the markup. I will order from my local dealership that has no markup rather than purchasing from them.
Totally dishonest and unethical place. The worst dealership I’ve been to. I was ready to buy that day. The guy sent me a photo of what the price was and enticed me to drive 45 mins there. Then they said there was a $4,500 mark up once I got there. Do NOT do business here!
We showed up an hour before they closed, test drove a few cars we were interested in. We wasnt planning on buying that day but decided on a Jeep Renegade. They entire team stayed until until we finished all of required paperwork. They were extremely friendly. It was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. When we get there they send us down the street when we get there they said someone was looking at it. So we leave and they call us and told us to come back that the truck was still available We turn around just got them to call back 5 mins later to tell us it was sold. We will never do business there again!

Stopped in at 4:30 on a Friday to see if I could get a wheel balanced. I was driving through and figured they would be able to take care of it. Service guy told me they don’t have time while a bunch of dudes are standing around BS’ing. Told him I would just take it to a different shop and he couldn’t care less. Would have left my truck here and got a oil change, transmission fluid change, new plugs and new brake pads but they “didn’t have time” an hour and a half before they closed to balance a tire that would have taken 10 minutes. Absolute waste of my time.

Bought a certified preowned Jeep Patriot thinking Jeep and the dealership backed the certification and would fix anything were there any issues. Well there were issues, tons of issues. Jeep is absolutely useless stating the problems were pre existing and that I had to work with the dealership, even though it has the bumper to bumper warranty and power train warranty active. The dealership kept the vehicle for a week, saying they would amend the issues, when I got there over half the issues were still there. So I left it there another week with the service manager, Jerry, saying he would personally inspect the issues to make sure it was done right. This is 2 stars because our salesman Herb Webster was awesome! He and the rest of the team helped us find the truck we needed.Otherwise it would be 1 star. Pretty much the whole experience was pleasant until we had to sit down with the finance guy, Bobby Stevens to sign the loan documents. He was unpleasant and condescending. He went over the documents at light speed. My husband David Rodriguez politely explained that English is his second language and asked that he slow down a bit which it seemed like just bothered him even more. To top it off we received a letter from the bank and my husband called Mr. Stevens to help him understand. First he called me and was rude for no reason. When he spoke to my husband he condecendingly told him to call back when he had the letter in his hand and hung up. I work with the public as well. This attitude is not necessary or appropriate.

Amazing customer service! I cannot say enough good things about this dealer. Purchased vehicle in December of 2017, with additional warranty.Purchase included additional key fob and carpeted premium floor mats. This purchase was out of state as well, being we are from Cincinnati, Ohio.They mailed the key fob, but not the floor mats. It got swept under the rug, so to speak.Just had a problem with battery/alternator. Made the drive after setting the appointment, and had the issue repaired.After the repair, we had an opportunity to talk to Frank, the GM. By way of small talk, we discussed the original deal including the mats and fob. He actually credited us the cost of the mats!You dont get treated this good, just about anywhere.They did not really have to make good on that part of the deal, being so much time had elapsed since the original purchase.Real Deal salt of the earth people here.Again, I can not say enough good things about this dealer, especially in an age of people being shady and dishonest all over the map.Thank you Frank (General Manager), Jerry (service department), and the ENTIRE Shelbyville Chrysler Dodge Jeep family!If you are looking for a great deal on a new or certified used vehicle, it is worth the drive, even from another state.I wouldnt say it if I didnt believe it, and have the personal experience to back it up.10 stars.
I would not recommend this place! I was taken advantage of in the process of buying my car. I have a perfect credit score and was lied to in the process about the interest rate. Verbally they said they did not know but after having me sign a bunch of papers they slipped it in the contract. I received my final interest rate in the mail at 11.25%!!! Anywhere else, I would have gotten a rate below 3%. These guys are crooks! I should have went somewhere else for a car.
Latest Update, June 30, 2021.My Jeep Commander is finally repaired and the problems for which I presented it for repair in February appear to have been corrected.Im restoring the four star rating for this business immediately and wish to thank the people in the service and parts departments who got it done.Apparently, the delay was caused by three successive defective powertrain control modules (computer modules that control essential functions of the engine and transmission) obtained from Jeep, after which the part because completely unavailable until Jeep fixed the problem with the new parts, but only after a four month delay.If Jeep cant supply functional new parts to its dealers I may reconsider the purchase of another new Jeep vehicle.I may yet purchase a new Grand Wagoneer in the future, but not until the pandemic induced supply chain and manufacturing problems in the automobile industry are resolved.For now, Im happy to have my thirteen years old Commander back in service. It has served me well for more than 377,000 miles and theres no good reason to retire it yet.Previous Update, June 26, 2021.My Jeep commander has been in their shop almost six months now, and Im begging to loose confidence in this dealership.I will continue to update this review as appropriate.I purchased a new 2008 Jeep Commander here and was entirely satisfied with the transaction. It was the second new Jeep I purchased from this dealer.At the time of purchase I also purchased a Lifetime Warranty contract that provides coverage for a broad range of vehicle systems and includes a $100 copay for each covered repair visit, even when more than one covered repair is performed at that visit.My Jeep is now approaching 400,000 miles and its on their premises now. I presented it for repair of a leaking rear main bearing oil seal, a leaking intake manifold and a malfunctioning muti- displacement solenoid under the terms of the contract - for a cost of $100!A great deal, if they ever fix itSomeday I hope to buy another new Jeep, probably a Grand Wagoneer, when they become available.For now, Im still happy with my thirteen year old Commander. It has served me well and still looks good and performed well, but it developed an oil leak in early February, 2021.Its important to note that I have always had the Jeep serviced pursuant to the factory recommended service schedule at this dealership.As for the service department, I still give them four stars, based on years of satisfactory service.During the ongoing pandemic the shop appears somewhat understaffed, and recently I have experienced extraordinary delay obtaining needed repair. My Jeep has been in the service department almost six months for this recent work.Its important to understand that they needed authorization from Jeep for this service and it took two weeks to obtain that authorization. That part of the delay was beyond the control of this dealership.The authorization was granted and repairs attempted.I was notified that my Jeep was ready for me to pick up several months ago, but when I arrived to get it, it was still in the shop.It wouldnt start.It was running well when presented for repair of oil leaks, but following attempted repairs, became totally inoperable, reportedly due to an electrical fault unrelated to the service work for which it was presented.And now it remains in a rear storage lot still inoperable.If not for these delays, I would rate the service department five stars.And I emphasize that overall, I still remain a satisfied customer but my patience is running out.If you find these comments useful, please mark the thumbs up Icon.

Bought a used Cherokee from Mr. Michael Beckley a couple of months ago and had a great experience. So when my daughter needed a new (used) car I knew where I was going. We got there (we are about an hour away), test drove the car and ended up purchasing it. On the way home we started having issues. We got the car home and the next morning I called Mr. Geno Federico, their business Manager. He immediately made arrangements to have the car picked up and get it looked at. We returned to the dealership the next day and upon arrival Mr. Beckley presented me an offer that was beyond generous. My daughter loves her new (used) van . Now keep in mind this had been a cash sale and it was bought as is. Neither of these individuals had to do anything but both of them went above and beyond, especially Mr. Federico, to insure that my daughter had a safe vehicle to haul my grandbabies around in. I will be taking any and all of my business to these guys in the future and I recommend that you do the same. He was friendly God has the best deal he could even better he kept us up-to-date about the vehicle I was interested in, he even called us while we were driving up there to let us know that somebody else was test driving the vehicle we were headed there for. he stayed with us from the beginning to the very end of the process and was very very friendly and helpful in any way he could be about it me and Nate had a great experience and would love to deal with them again in the future. And so far so good on the vehicle also got a good vehicle for a good deal.

Drove 30 minutes to look at their 1500 inventory. Parked my car close to the sales office and walked around the lot for 15 minutes. No one bothered to assist. I now know why they have plenty of 1500s.
Have to say not very pleased with they way they show the pricing. Easy looking at a jeep renegade. Price online showed 15484. Thats onle if you qualify for every single discount, trade in a car and have less than a 650 credit score. Show this price to me is false advertising. The price was actually around 21000 something. Crazy how having an excellent credit score you get screwed. Either way the 0% at 72 months or all the discounts and finance charges, they will get the same amount of money out of you.

We didnt go to buy a car. We needed a owners manual for our car. They went out of their way to try to find one. They didnt have it, but could order it. I just didnt want to pay the cost. They were very nice. One of the service men even told my husband how to reset something on my daughters car.

Service is excellent. I have an old Chrysler vehicle that these folks take good care of. They treat me fairly and do not try to sell me things I dont need. I have had a major issue with my vehicle this year and it took them a week to find out what was wrong and repair it. They accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem and now, I can operate my vehicle with confidence again.

They will rip you off in every way possible from the kind of car they get you to buy to the interest rate to the kind of things that are supposed to be covered by the warranty. They will never call you back, you have to call them to get any kind of update on your car and at the end of the day they will charge you $125 to tell you that something is definitely wrong with your car.

Everyone I dealt with was straightforward and honest and there were no high pressure sales tactics.Josh and Haskell did an excellent job on the sales side and Geno was very easy to deal with in the financial office.I highly recommend this dealership.
Went to Shelbyville for a test drive on a few trucks and was helped quickly and no pressure from the staff.Called up about a week later on pricing for ordering a truck. Took an entire day to get a half answer. Followed up with another quick question and was never answered.Was hoping to continue working with this dealership even though its further away than the other two but not the customer support Im looking for with future use.
On 5AUG2020, I called about a 2006 Lexus LS430 that they had listed for $14,396, but with their savings it would be $10,995. The actual value of the car, as of this writing, is $9,650. They are asking $5,286 more than what its worth. I called to inquire because I am ready to buy, with excellent credit (over 750). I was also researching a newer truck as well (they were not aware of this). The salesman went on about how its worth more because its really clean and nice. I told him that excellent condition was already accounted for (that was what the clean retail value IS), and unless theres some $4,000 rims on the car (there wasnt), the value of the car just isnt there. I then had the manager call me back on 7AUG2020 to tell me that this is what they go for at auction. To which I replied Well, this isnt at auction. He then told me that the best he could do is $13K something, and in a condescending tone, said have a nice day.I thought this was odd, since the salesman told me he could get the price down to about $10K, and not to worry about a few hundred dollars (I wouldnt be that upset to pay a small amount over the value).Well, because Im not in a hurry to buy a car, and I find it not only inappropriate but offensive to take advantage of customers (as though I was stupid and didnt know the value of the car), I decided to write a review on here. I am considering sending letters out to every resident in a 25 mile radius of their location (its called every door direct mail, and its cheap to do) indicating the same details to let them know that they will likely be taken advantage of, and not to bother going there.As a retired US Army Service Member, I feel that Shelbyville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is not a business that I can trust. Who knows how many people they have taken advantage of, simply because they wanted to raise the price (over the actual value) by thousands of dollars.Will you be a victim?Update: (11AUG2020)I had a phone call on Saturday 8AUG2020 with another manager (GM?). His main concern seemed to be with the one star review, versus the manager that had a condescending tone towards me on the phone or the overpricing of the vehicle. His response on here (Google) attempted to make it sound like I was an unreasonable customer that wanted a car to be sold below actual value. I understand that dealers will get customers like that. I simply want others to understand that the NADA value is what they will get when a car is totaled after a collision; when a dealer asks for MORE than that value, there should be a reasonable explanation (not thats what they sell for at auction).Trying to jack the price up by THOUSANDS of dollars above actual value and then blaming the increased cost on auction value or covid or whatever else they can think up, is unacceptable.No thanks, Ill buy cars at what theyre worth, not thousands of dollars above it. Stop trying to scam customers into buying something ABOVE the actual value, and start treating them with respect.***Second Update after their reply***While I originally said They are asking $5,286 more than what its worth., Id like to clarify, that the worth in this instance is the NADA calculated value (what the insurance company will pay if its totalled).Their response saying that I wanted to discount a car to what a customer would like to pay is inaccurate. Its not what I wanted to pay, its whats ethically right to do. I didnt want to pay less money just to save money; I simply wanted to pay the ACTUAL value (NADA/insurance value), not some inflated hype because its super clean.They even said There are various ways to value a vehicle.. Sure, I can just say its worth less, and theres no more merit than if you say its worth more. See how that works?
Terrible place to buy a vehicle or have it serviced.I gave them a second chance and was treated worse than the first go around. They will blatantly lie to you.
