I agree with Juju 100%. That dude was always mean to me. I switched to UPS on SMP & Pflumm and have had a much more pleasant experience.
The bearded manager needs to learn what customer service means. It is not telling a customer no to everything you ask every time you come in. No you cant print from their computer...so why is it setting out in the stores customer area? No you cant return Amazon packages out of the box despite that Amazon says you dont need to box the items. He has the worst attitude and should not be in direct contact with customers! What a horrible, disrespectful, combative manager! Ive used UPS around the country, a lot, and have never been treated to rudely!
I wanted to ship out an item to be held at the last UPS location it travels through so it doesnt have to stay on a hot truck ( the customer picks it up since its a live plant) . The employee stated that thats not an option and it needs to be addressed to a store or hub and it may get put on a truck anywayI explained that Ive shipped and received dozens of packages this way and I know its an option. The store was crowded and after waiting in line, she told me to go look up that store it needed to go to. I asked her if she would be willing to just have it shipped to the closest hub or store near the address Im sending it to.She condescendly told me that she would do that and proceeded to explain why I needed to already know this in front of a store full of customers. When I asked for just a touch of customer service she explained that thats just not the way these things work. Isnt that the nature of this business? To help people get their things from one place to another. It seemed like asking any more that just giving her my money and package was an inconvenience.If we arent willing to take just a second to help people without showing them how put off we are, then there is no reason why these kind of jobs couldnt get replaced by an automated kiosk. I wont be returning to this location
Tried calling several times to see if they did large format scanning was put on hold each time and then hung up on each time.
You don’t matter. After waiting in line for 20 min and after 3 individuals completed their desired purchases and tasks, I was told that they would NOT help me with my single page printout until after the line of 7 individuals behind me were taken care of. Thus I would have to wait a minimum of 35 to 40 min before they took 2 minutes to printout my single page.Very poor service
Today I went to purchase a box to mail a gift, the lady asked for a size, and told her a small one and showed her with my hands. She then was ready to charge for a 18” box. Politely, I told her that was kind of a visual person and needed to see the box. Of course it was too big, and asked to bring smaller ones. She answered sarcastically if I needed her to bring all boxes she had. She seemed highly bothered rather than pleased to help.Me: A customer with 6 boxes ready to ship; 1 last present missing a small box and hoping to ship them all. Indeed, purchased the box and left. FedEx received me with open arms. This is how you lose business.
The Western Shawnee UPS Store is great! Ive had a business mailbox there for the past 15+ years and have never had an issue with receiving mail or packages safely and securely. I have also used their printing, packaging and mailing services and have always been satisfied. Pam and her staff are friendly and I never have to wait for help. Highly recommend!

A gentleman named Riley tried to escalate a situation because I had the nerve to question him rather than take his word for it. Once he confirmed that he was sure of what he was telling me I quickly and politely conceded. He then said he was thinking about refusing me service because I argued with him. I took my business elsewhere with less sensitive people.
As a professional graphic artist I provide my clients with the highest level of professional printing (magazine quality). When clients miss the deadline for my printer, I can always count on Monticello UPS to complete the work on short notice, full color, double sided, sometimes glossy, with a nice cut down service. Ive never had to request work be reprinted. Its always as promised at a very reasonable price. Our church also uses Monticello UPS for last minute props for their plays and often the Sunday service programs, mounted posters, large scale banners, etc. I normally do not give reviews because I too am a vendor, but I cannot miss the opportunity to praise Monticello UPS and the owner, Pam Cooper. She and her employees are their to help, not sell. Which is really a nice change from name brand printers. If I miss measured the layout for a quick turnaround piece they will let me know and give me the choice to stop production and I rework the design or continue on. It is that kind of customer service that I too like to provide. The first time I worked with Pam on a job was a very sensitive piece. It was a funeral program for infant twins. She was caring and respectful and printed the programs for free. I know the family really appreciated it. As did I. Weve been working together ever since. Its obvious to me that Pam loves to provide exceptional service. Perhaps thats why she has more than three stores. Thank you Pam for making my work shine!
Arrived to the store 5 minutes before closing time to drop of a small package for shipment. The front door was already locked but I could see two employees joking with each other inside. I knocked and one of them made eye contact with me at the front door and walked away. Finally I knocked again and the other came to the door, stepped outside, and said (very rudely) that since it will probably take more than 5 min to process is, we will be closed before it is finished processing and we arent staying past closing time to process itI happily took my package to a FedEx nearby with much better customer service.
Great store, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. The manager Riley is great. I love being able to send items I need printed to the stores email address, really simple and convenient (good price too).
Ive gotta say the MEN over here at UPS are fantastic and always deliver great products with all of our orders we give them. They are always professional and incredibly friendly, its nice to have developed a great business relationship with these guys! Any issues, Riley the manager has your back!
The staff at this location is always friendly and efficient, but they helped me so much when I had a problem with my document. Their extra efforts were such a great surprise when I picked up completed work, and not the cut and paste project I planned for. The color and quality is always vibrant and much better than my printer - even when it is full of new ink. The posters at this location are always fantastic and inexpensive, too.

The staff is very friendly and supportive all the time. They have good advice and more services than I thought for a small business like mine. Not just the technology for the immediate needs like signs/copies, but real business services. They also run specials which really help.
I visit this store weekly for printing, shipping or faxing. They are always extremely helpful and have really reasonably prices. I love having them so close to my house! Ive never left there dissatisfied in anyway.

I have worked with the Shawnee UPS Store since it opened. The staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and courteous. They offer a variety of services which cater to small business as well as the local shipper using UPS. I know quite a few people who work with this particular location and have always offered positive feedback. Glad we have a great local business supporting our Western Shawnee Community.

I would have given 4 stars to this store before today. After today, Id give 0 stars if that was an option. My interaction with a female manager at the store today (12/2/16 @ ~10 AM) was terrible. I was attempting to ship a small container (a small decorative box about the size of a shoe box filled with baby clothes as gift to a fried). I asked for UPS to package and ship it for me (to Cincinnati). The cost of just the shipping (not including the packaging) was $18. I was shocked, and I made a comment about the price being extremely high for the size of my shipment. I wasnt rude or upset; I was just surprised. The female manager left another customer to come over to me and, frankly, demean me. She said- that is not the size of shoe box and if you can go find another box then it will ship for less...on and on. All the while raising her voice and talking very slowly to me like I am stupid and couldnt follow her infallible logic (I didnt realize that she was an expert on shoe box sizes). Anyway, I asked her to please stop speaking to me that way and to return to her customer, because I did not ask for her help. I simply commented on the price (like anyone would). She then gave me a very condescending Im so sorry...Im the manager of this store and I thought you need help. It was a terrible experience, and it really upset me. I took my shipment and left without a word, because I didnt want to make a scene and have anymore conflict with the manager. As a customer, I am allowed to be surprised by the price of something. I dont need to be demeaned as a result. It was a disgusting display of purported superiority that simply should not occur. I wont be back. Ill go to FedEx from now on.
I use this UPS Store location for all my work printing. They are very helpful and speedy with every print job I have. I also love that they offer suggestions of other ways to print the job to reduce the costs. Everyone in this office is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this UPS store for all your printing.
Very poor customer service, very high price to ship a fairly small item. This is one of the reasons I never use UPS for anything.

Everyone could learn a couple of things from this UPS location...outstanding customer service that is rare to find. Dean went out of his way to take care of a package that was supposed to go across the street to the post office. When we walk in we are received with friendly smiles and a staff that goes above and beyond. Thank you for all that you do!
