We went in for a funnel cake. It was taken out of refrigeration and microwaved. It looked good, but it was tough and awful 😖

To be completely honest, when I walked into this shop it was a little scary.. lol the place is not top notch and I almost didnt stay. We ordered ice cream and corn in a cup, and they were quite good! But only good, not great. this place could tidy up a bit inside.

We were eating at Pho Good next door. We have always talked about trying this place out, but never did. Tonight we decided to. We are really glad we did. They serve fresh homemade ice cream and other Hispanic favorites and items I cant wait to try next time we come. Give it a try.

We ordered 3 mangonadas.And they made it super salty that we couldnt eat. We came in to ask if they could do smt to make it less salty and they didnt want to fix it, they just said it was the way it was as if we never ate this before. They put too much of the red sauce in it that make it salty. I threw the whole cup away.

This location is not that good. I asked for one cup of pistachio and lemon ice cream. I got one pistachio and another kind I ask of lemon they said no. Then they scooped it out and put it back in the ice cream. We went through this process three times before I gave up. Just got the lime ice cream. Then 15 minutes they turned up there music a lot. Like they don’t care about there customers. The main problem was not understanding English and the cross contamination. I’m not allergy to anything luckily but I know people who are. That with this disregard probably couldn’t eat here.

Well we went before 9:00pm closing time and the lady was upset stated they closed at 8:30pm. We had to leave she was rude didnt really want to help us.

Very underwhelming. First time my wife and I tried to go was 7:45 pm last Saturday night and the owners were rapidly shouting at each other to lock up and not serve us (in Spanish, assuming I wasn’t fluent because of my appearance). When I said according to google they close at 10pm, they said that due to COVID they close at 8:30 pm (it was only 7:45 pm). They also weren’t wearing any masks, so it’s awfully convenient to blame COVID when you obviously don’t care enough to wear a mask. We decided to give it a second chance a few days later (this past Monday) and we went around 6 pm to accommodate them, and they served others and then disappeared in the back and never served us. Ultimately we were so underwhelmed by the way we were treated, and the selection (next to nothing, go to the other peletería tropicana locations), that we left without purchasing anything.

Good place to get mexican icecream for the family. We always come here because its close to the house and the girls love it every time. Will deffinatelly come back.

Do not recommend at all, they expect us to wear masks & be clean while one of the workers did not wash her hands nor wore gloves and was mopping the floor and she was going to serve me and my family like that.

I rate this place 5 stars because they are really nice and the churros are super good! The smoothies and ice cream and everything else there seems pretty yummy. I like going here

Horrible. The two ladies were terrible at their job. They gave me chocolate with nuts & all I asked for was chocolate ice cream. While I was looking for a flavor the girl was getting irritated. The place looks nasty & I never got my money back.

The worst location to go to but love the other locations

I usually never leave reviews, but thought it was important enough to let others know how filthy it was inside. Just walking in, I was kicking around trash and dirt on the floor. Tables were not wiped, grime on the containers...it was just gross. Good smoothie though.

Checked this place out for the first time. The people were friendly and made a great recommendation. Will definitely go back!

More than just ice cream. The tamales or some if the best and made fresh daily, just like the ice cream.

If you want great ice cream and good food you really need to come here Hidden away in a Walmart shopping center is it diamond Staff is excellent and again the food and ice cream are great homemade from scratch

Great place for ice cream and other treats!

We were not waited on in the order that we arrived. The 2 ladies working did not know the menu nor did they know even a little bit of english. Luckily the lady behind us knew english and was able to help us. One of the ladies wanted to be helpful and was doing the best she could, but the other one was too busy being on her phone and talking/flirting.

The food was plain. Other Tropicanas in the area serve much better quality of Mexican treats. Small portions for high prices. The tortas were burnt and the esquites were so disgusting. This one is definitely not worthy of visiting. The lady serving us was watching a show on her phone as she took our order. She seemed in such a hurry to get rid of us. It was a horrible experience we had there. I wont be taking my family there ever again.

I love the ice cream they have here. It is always great tasting and of high quality. They have a large variety of desserts, as well as food, and the price is fair for their items.

It’s been at least minimum 5 times. That the night guy closes very early. It says 10:00pm clearly on google. Not to mention he flipped me off and laughed at me once. He’s an older guy and I’m sure he’s the closer.

The Ice cream and the tortas was good but the two ladies infront gave me a bad service. One of them was so rude while the another one was just looking at me. This is no the first time I come but this time costumer service was just horrible. You guys needs more improvement!!!!!

I love their homemade mango ice cream its delicious they add chili powder and chamoy they call it Mangoniadaoh my who knew that it would be such a good combination sweet and sour all in one! I am in love!

This location needs improvement! I ordered churros and they were not cooked all the way . I asked for another order the lady just threw the churros back into the fryer, instead of giving new churros, obviously it didnt taste good also ordered corn in a cup it was so salty .The staff was in the back playing around. My mom ordered vanilla ice cream they said they were out .but then a man brought out some more, so they did have vanilla all along they just didnt want to go get it.I definitely wont come back to this location. Ill stick to the location on 18th street Id rather wait in a long line than get bad service. I hope its not the same owner you can tell theres a big difference between locations.

Went in today to buy 2 chilindrinas to go ! Got home and I tasted the Cueritos and where “Bad” (Hechados a perder ) they had this nasty taste ! I threw everything away and then God I had the ingredients at home and just added them To the Tostada !! Nasty place 🤢 Please check ur ingredients before selling them ! literally I only went to throw my money away in here !! Couldn’t recommend nobody this place ! Bought a corn on the cob elotes as well as a small cup of elotes and they skimped on the mayonnaise and gave me a racist vibe in there because Im Native American and dont speak Spanish although I look like I should. I called them to re make it and it still tasted terrible

My visit was errenda, order a potato and shameless sic told me that they were cast from yesterday and they were hard, the churros that ordered knew old. The orange water did not taste like orange. The roof was liquidating, and it stunk.
