Bought item online on 7/28/21. After receiving on 8/3/21 I didn’t like and took to Shawnee Mission location to return on 8/4/21. The woman on register couldn’t figure out how to do return. She eventually called manager to come up but seemed very hesitant to do so. Manager did come up and was able to take care of return. He was, however, one of the rudest people I ever had to deal with. Extremely rude to both his salesperson and me. I understood why she was hesitant to have him help. On top of that, they had sign up at entrance, MASK REQUIRED, but manager was NOT wearing one. I may have to find different location to shop at, haven’t decided. In past never had anyone who wasn’t very nice and helpful in store. I’m hoping for all salespeople as well as customers that this manager was just temporary.

This would have been a 2 star rating due to problems at checkout, but Shannon saved the day! We went in just to get some slim hangers, but ended up buying a set of pots and pans, 2 cooling mats for our dogs, and 3 extra packages of hangers due to the amazing sale price! The store had a power outage the night before our visit, and the registers were malfunctioning. After 10 minutes of frustration with being sent to different registers and watching people that had been behind us in line get checked out before us, Shannon came and saved the day with his excellent customer service skills 👏

There are so many places that no longer to in person registry. Darren from Bed Bath and Beyond is amazing! He patiently got us setup for the registry, and gave us some amazing tips to take full advantage of their program.

The cashier Jennifer sucked had to ask for a bag energy was low didnt care about me shopping there the two other younger girls that worked there had high energy and asked if I needed help multiple times. I will go back to see if I get the same experience or not

I think their prices are too high for what they sell. Its not really worth going here without a coupon AND if the price of that item matches other stores. That being said, theres usually a way to get a 20% off coupon before going.It is a clean store. Looks like they try and keep things tidy. Layout is a little weird, but not too cramped.I did get asked if I needed help finding anything, which was appreciated as Ive not been to one of their stores in... I cant remember how long. On the other hand, the cashier seemed a little rude (saw me standing there for minutes but didnt offer to check me out or explain I needed to move 5 feet to the other side of her station to do so), but maybe she was having a bad day.Id go back, but not without a coupon.Oh, and parking is plentiful. This is a pretty reasonable layout for this shopping center in general, so everyone isnt on top of each other trying to park and get in and out of the store.

The staff was able to help us find all the items we were looking for. They werent busy at all. Had lots of nice spring & summer items at very good prices.

The store has been picked over, and a majority of the products I wanted to see were gone. The online count, doesnt match up to in-store. If it says one or two online, then its most likely gone already.

Still a good place to shop with that store 20% one item discount...

The store is clean and organized. The staff is friendly. For instance, an employee gave me a $10 off coupon while I was browsing. Amazing sale prices as well!

We have looked for small bathroom storage units for the counter everywhere, with no luck. We found several to choose from here. Very clean and well organized store. Great experience today

I love Bed Bath and Beyond. We went to get curtains, but they hardly had any available to buy. They had sales, but not helpful when there arent any available to buy. We were told we could get them on line, but they are regular price. I am one of the rare people who hate shopping on line; i like to feel and see what i get. Things on line are never look like the picture. Oh well... i just hope they are not closing this store it will be very sad.

I love bb&b! They have gadgets and gizmos of every kind and a coupon for each one of them. Jennifer was exceptionally helpful today grabbing the last vacuum and holding it for me.

It was so easy to pick up at the store. No wait at all. Everyone was really nice and friendly.

The staffers at this store are absolutely the best. They know where all of the merchandise is, and you can ask them for anything, and they will take you right to it. And the prices are great.

Cashier did not know how to make change themself unless their cash register tells them exactly how much to give. A simple one or two minute transaction ended up taking 10 minutes because she had to call a manager over to help her make change.

Just had a wonderful customer service experience there. 3 staff members all provided outstanding service. Thank you!

I went to get a sauce pan and a small and a large frying pan, I picked 3 all three there, a bit pricey but I guess that you get what your paying for !!!! :)))) looks like all three are really great pans !!!!

I went in about a half hour before closing, knew exactly what I needed. Store was clean and very organized. When I got up to the checkout, there were 2 associates helping a couple at the service desk, which is fine, but it took them 15 minutes before they helped me checkout.

Easy to find what Im looking for!

My fiance and I had a fun experience creating our wedding registry at this location. Laurel is who helped us get it all set up. She was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. It was nice being around an employee who seemed to enjoy her job. I was satisfied with the variety this location carries. Some items we scanned would not show on our registry, but that is not this stores fault. The incentive program is a proponent of having a registry here. You get 20% off everything on your registry that is not purchased as a gift for your wedding.

On line order ready for pickup. I think I read in the WSJ or NYT, that BB&B may cease business. Thats too bad, but times have changed. So be it.

Had my items to buy, stood in line, ONE, DID I SAY ONE cashier working and one return desk person. The person in front of me had a huge stack of coupons and her and cashier were going through them. Another cashier opened and took the next person in line.. Im still standing there holding all my items and Waiting. The return desk took a customer who just walked and Im still waiting... I thanked the return desk person for taking the next in line.. my cashier was still going through coupons... set my stuff down and walked out. Promptly took myself off the mailing list and email list.... best of luck. Too many other places to shop...

It seemed to be less cluttered and more organized today than in times past. They really have turned over a lot of the items and have good quality stuff on the shelves more so these days it seemed.

Jim was so helpful today. I am 35 weeks along and he seen that I had my 1 year old in my arms and offered to carry out my bags so that it wasn’t too heavy for me. Especially since I was having pains standing in line, so I’m very grateful! Thank you Jim!

I just had the worst experience at this Shawnee location. I spend a lot of money at Bed Bath and Beyond and to be treated the was I was treated I won’t be coming back! I was given a gift that stopped working, I tried to return it without the receipt and this women by the name of Karen said “You can’t do that I don’t have anything to ring this up with.” She was so incredibly rude to me!! A gentleman stepped in and said he would allow it this time. All I wanted to do was an exchange. Bed Bath and Beyond, you want to keep you customs coming back-start training your cashiers to be kinder and not so RUDE to customers!! I’m not coming back that for sure!!!!!

Very friendly staff, knowledge of items and their location in the store. The store was clean no items laying in the isles or looking out of order. Lots of choices to choose from on hand. Cashier very quick and efficient. It was a great choice to do my Christmas shopping because I got something for every person I was shopping for, young and old. It was the best shopping experience Ive had for years 😀. Id definitely recommend it to anyone still doing last minute shopping or shopping in general. I recommend it to my son who was still shopping and Im sure hell find what he needs and more.....enjoy the experience.

Everything is very expensive so you have to bring coupons. I wouldnt go there without a coupon. To their credit, they will accept old expired coupons. They have a great selection and many items of very high quality.

I feel like lately I have been dooped with terrible customer service, so I wanted to give a shout out to the employees at this particular Bed Bath and Beyond. I figured when I walked in with several returns from our wedding registry we would have eyes rolling and terrible customer service. I was prepared for an easy in and out, no expectations transaction and I was pleasantly surprised with the great customer service to make it an easy experience. Great store. Some items are a little pricey but you can find some great deals. There are some very unique items, which is a joy to find.

While returning an object and attempting to exchange it for another the staff went all out to find what I was looking for. I ended up having to go to another store where they held the item for me. Great staff All Around!

Today we had breakfast at Waffle House after that decided to go to Bed bath and beyond. It was nearby so we went there. We were looking for regular cosmetics items. So, we thought we missed the isle. Again, we started to look for the isle but I was so surprised that it’s so small and there is no isle for bathing or cosmetics. So, we had to came back. There are nearby other stores from where I usually shop. Carters, Kohls so if this store was big enough it could be my go to area.

Very helpful Manager. I have never been so happy with my shopping expeeience. I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything. As well as they could special order my Yankee chocolate candle if I wanted.

They have so much stuff. Its a nice store, just wish it was a little closer because I would love to go more.

They had a little power blip and their computers for the cash registers went down. Down for half an hour. They did not give any discounts to anyone. Why isnt the computers on a UPS system to guard against this?

Since it was the Holiday season when I visited, things werent as stocked as I had anticipated, but I understand! Their staff was really helpful and they have a seriously great selection of home items at a heap of different prices.

Good variety of somewhat higher priced items. Its rare that we ever buy anything here.

Some deals are great other things are just way too expensive. But the staff is very polite.

Our favorite store has had a reset. What was on one side of the store, is now on the other side. Its a good change just be ready for it!!
