We came into Pigeon Forge a week ago Sunday night from Wisconsin my wife said my foot is wet, when we got to the hotel I pulled the floor mat aside to find coolant thick on the carpet. I ask the assume manager at the Ramsey Hotel for a recommendation he pointed me to them, John and his crew got the car in right away gave my wife and I ride back to the hotel we continued are day as if nothing happened, by 2:00 p.m. they had replacer the heater core checked the car over and was good to go. Not only did the find a heater core for 95 z28 they had it fixed very promptly, when I got he bill it was more than fair I could have more than that around my own area, thanks John and crew for a job well done!!!

My daughter had an alternator problem. Went there to get it fixed. They wouldnt give her the receipt from Auto Zone for the alternator. I called Auto Zone myself and the said that the part only cost around $214.00. They charged her $350.00 for the part and 80.00 installation. They took advantage of her because she was young and from out of town and alone. Karma always comes back around. GOD is watching!!

We were here on vacation from Connecticut and just before we were ready to go home on Friday noticed that the rear brakes were making noise and asked the front desk of the resort were staying in for reputable service place and they recommended allstar service. Guys did an excellent job on my old gmc square body truck considering how many things are wrong with it. Loved the communication along the way and they even showed me a few things that I wasn’t aware of. They got everything taken care of that I asked for and they even checked out my bad transmission and pointed me to someone they trusted could fix it. Definitely will be bringing my vehicles their way in the future.

Here on vacation and the air compressor went out only had one day to fix it they were on point and got it done and they didn’t even over charge us. The estimate was exactly what our mechanic at home said it should be. Can’t say enough good about this place. If I lived here they would definetly be my go too!

If you are on vacation and need car repair you need to come here. I had a new battery in my car and thought my alternator went out. They checked everything in a very timely manner and found out I had bought a bad battery. They were extremely reasonable, friendly, and professional. Thank you. Let me say from the previous person’s comments. I was no way paid by the company and I don’t know where they went, but it could not have been the Allstar Garage. They had several customers and was friendly to everyone. They even had cards on their counter from happy customers thanking them.

Needs a 10* review!! Amazing people! We are on vacation from Florida on vacation. Air went out in our Excursion. They offered to help us but was honest and said they dont always do alot of air. Replaced the pump but decided it was the vacuum lines. Removed pump. After having all day refused us to pay or even tip. You do not find honest people anymore. As someone just passing through (not from around here) I didnt know what to expect since Ive had a few not-so-great experiences under these circumstances. But the guys over there were great and friendly. They gave me honest quotes and didnt mind talking with me at all throughout the service. They even suggested places I could eat around the area! Shoutout to Ed for working on my vehicle and being great. Not once did I get the impression that I didnt matter or that I was an inconvenience. They were willing to work with me and gave me the choices regarding any work that was done. I really appreciate these guys for their integrity as anyone who has traveled and has had an unfortunate vehicle issue would know things can go very differently in these situations. Was on vacation in the area from Indiana and had a concerning noise coming from the front end of my vehicle. Got into town on a Friday night, so started looking for open shops on Saturday....went by 3 other places that I wouldnt even drive into by the looks of the places. My last stop was Allstar Muffler, which I did pull into because the place looked reputable and clean. The owner, John, greeted me and I explained the noise and when it happened, and he took my keys and had the mechanic take a drive to verify. Mechanic verified noise and put car on the lift to further investigate......had noise from front left wheel bearing. Also advised me that I could use front brakes(which I already knew). He gave me pricing on both, and the pricing was very reasonable for the work. Gave me options on the brand/price of wheel bearing as well.....didnt just stick me with the most expensive one he could get. I approved both repairs and asked when he could do it........he said immediately.........car was repaired in about 2 hours and I didnt lose an entire day of my families vacation with my car down. John is legit......Ive been in the automotive industry most of my adult life, and know.....this guy runs a good business. What a relief it was for me to be able to trust someone 600 miles from home, and to get it repaired to give me piece of mind driving my family around the area and then back home. John and Allstar saved my vacation. Highly recommended..........we enjoy the area very much and now I know where I can take my vehicle if I have issues while Im there. Im so glad that I passed up the other facilities.

Good place to get custom exhuast work done

I took my oldest daughters van to these guys and I knew it was something more than likely serious. It is a Honda Odyssey Van that she has absolutely ragged out. Well, they told me it would be $800.00 to do the work that needed to be done, and based on the work, I thought it wasnt too bad of a price. (I was a mechanic in the Army for many years, so I have some knowledge). Any way, then I get the dreaded call, We have more issues than previously thought, the timing belt needs replaced, it is snapped. The van has 168K miles on it, and it was going to be another $600.00 to fix it. I had not choice as my daughter and grandchildren need a vehicle. To make a long story shorter, he went down $200.00 on the price and I agreed to pay $1200.00 for the entire job. They called me a couple of days later, the timing belt didnt need replaced after all, and the price went down to $793.00. Folks, how many mechanic places would do this? There are some that would put it back together and say they replaced it and charge the full amount. I am very impressed and I will take all of my vehicles here from now on, and tell as many people as I can about these guys. They are honest and legit, its that simple. Jeff

I had a problem with my SUV while on vacation. I wasnt sure what the problem was and it was July 3rd and every place that might be able to help me was so busy that they couldnt even look at it. Everyone was at least nice, except for the service writer at the local Chevrolet dealer, and they would suggest someone else that might be able to help me. The fifth place we tried was All Star Muffler & Brake and they were wonderful. They were also very busy but they worked us in, determined that it was a front wheel bearing, and replaced it within about three hours total. They were super nice, very straight forward, and honest. Their price to fix it was reasonable, even though they knew they had me over a barrel. I cant thank them enough for their professionalism! I highly recommend them if you need anything while in the area.

Visiting from out of state with my family. Experienced car troubles. Took it in for evaluation. Not only were they prompt - the owner drove me back to my hotel and dropped me off! I was very impressed with the courtesy and kindness.The next day, they called and informed me everything was fine and it was just a loose cap. They did a brake inspection as well and told me all was good.They easily could have “taken advantage” of me as many shops would do to visitors. I greatly appreciate their honesty and integrity. I highly recommend this shop for your vehicle service needs.Thank you

Got into town at 315pm from Dayton Ohio. Brakes were grinding. Got to the shop at 340. Checked out my brakes and I needed two pads and a rotar. Had me fixed and out the shop by 445. Excellent shop. Very lucky to have found them on our weekend trip. Thank you.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to go their I called before hand and the gentleman was rude on the phone arrived at the shop put it on the lift a too cut a 3 foot section out and straight pipe it with a y and two 90s no tips he rudly told it was going to be 225 to 275 when I had literally just talked to the shop up the road and they gave me a Quote for a 100 I then asked the guy why so high he wouldnt tell me I said a few choice words to myself and he told me to get the hell out of his shop ill never return and I will turn every person away from this shop

In town for business and vacation time. These guys were thorough, methodical a d honest. Charged me ten bucks to road test, rack and diagnose a rear wheel bearing. I highly &recommend this shop for travelers.

Was very. Disappointed. When the gentleman at the counter. Told me to go from a dual exhaust. To a single exhaust would cost 1360. To replace from front to the back. I told him I would check around. I believe they have busted there head a few times. I took my car to kar kare in Knoxville and had the whole exhaust replaced. With dual exhaust. With a set of glass pack muffler for a total of 327 with taxes. Compared to what this gimmick of a shop was trying to charge . So if u need a whole new exhaust system take it to kar Kare In Knoxville off of broadway. U will be happy u did happy with the new muffler system on my mustang

Came by Saturday afternoon to ask about installing an exhaust tip on my 17 F150, not only was it only $20 to install (already had the Tip) but they literally pulled my truck right into the shop and welded it on. 10 minutes later I was on my way home. Excellent customer service. Thank you guys!

My husband just came back after having something small fixed before heading out of state back home. He said one man was repeatedly rude. When my husband tried to explain what or when the noise our vehicle was making, the man just ignored him and said, we got this, we got this. Then, my husband was trying to tell a guy thank you when the same man asked what he was doing. He said telling one of them thank you. The worker then said, he makes $20 an hour, thats thank you enough in a very rude manner. If you dont care for the public, then find another job! If you want rude service, then go here. If not, find another shop!!

We were visiting pigeon forge for a car show on a busy Saturday morning. Going through the mountains destroyed my brakes and we were riding on bare metal grinding. We were not going to make it home. Although Allstar Auto repair was busy, they helped us and got the trucks rotors and brake pads taken care of in 2 hours. They were so kind and helpful. Great caring customer service!

Had the serpentine belt come off my Ford Fusion. I called 3 different shops and All Star was the only one that could get us in. They were very friendly and nice to deal with.

Great service, great prices. Had an exhaust issue and was told by several other places it would cost $400.00 plus to repair. Went to Allstar to explore pricing and left with a smile on my face and a fixed car. Was given a diagnosis, parts, welding job, labor and great overall experience for $150.00. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Customer service is to the point and not sugar coated just the way I like it.

John suggested using a Flowmaster Series 50 for my 2018 Ram with the Hemi engine. He was right on point, the sound is perfect without any cabin noise, just a nice rumble our the back. I would definitely recommend this shop. Thanks again John.

My catalytic converter and spark plugs both stopped working while I was on a road trip through Tennessee and Allstar Muffler fixed my car first thing in the morning the next day! They were very helpful and quick, and charged me a very fair price! The price I was charged was even less than what I found online! Rude as soon as you walk in and talks down to you like you don’t know anything! I promise I would never send anyone to this place. When youre on vacation and something goes wrong with your vehicle, youre at the mercy of others. Our trucks brakes were metal to metal as we got into town and we knew we couldnt enjoy our trip until they were fixed. We call Allstar and I was told to bring it on in.. We walked in and were greeted by the friendliest man, willing to help us, no matter what we needed. He told us were to go grab something to eat or drink and he would get us an estimate and take it from there. Not only was he under his estimate, they finished in less time that was quoted. Very efficient, friendly and just a job well done. Id refer anyone that runs into trouble with their vehicle to this business. I also watched this business owner help everyone that walked in, never told anyone he couldnt get to them today, as we were told by 2 other places. Great man, great place.

Great service and very honest! My brakes and rotor were bad and I only had a day to get it fixed. I took it here on a Saturday at 830am because were were heading back home the next day. It was only going to take him an hour to fix but then he found the my caliber was broken. He found the peice at a local Auto Zone and made sure that he was able to get it fixed as soon as he could. Reasonable prices. I was very happy with the service they did.

While on vacation, my sons 2004 Honda Accord started leaking coolant. We were referred to Allstar, and so glad we were! Allstar had a full garage but the Service Manager (John) squeezed us in for a diagnosis, and ended up fixing our problem on the spot. A couple of radiator port caps had cracked and were leaking. Allstar removed the dry-rotted port caps and attached a piece of radiator hose to the two ports creating a by-pass. My home-town mechanic said that was a really good solution design! In and out in about 30 minutes. $50 parts & labor including coolant. Excellent service - Fair price. Highly recommended. Thanks for taking good care of my boy!

This is a good shop and honest. They could have sold have sold me new pads as I was out of town and they were making noise, but it turned out to be a stuck caliper pin. I would definitely go back if I lived here!

Were in pigeon forge on vacation for the weekend. Started having problems with power steering and found this shop open. Last minute they said they would take a look at it. When they pulled it out I had a customer tell me hes the best and most honest shop around. Bad news is out power steering pump is going out. Good news is we can still get home with it going bad. Were grateful they took the time to check it out and help us out.

On vacation when my brakes started grinding.. Allstar diagnosed the problem promptly and fixed the brake pads and rotor within 2 hours, doing an excellent job at a reasonable rate.. and not ripping off the out of towner! I live locally and have always done business in Knoxville. I was tired of driving so far and decided to give this place a chance. I am very happy with their work, he was straight up and fair, also, the work was done within an hour so we were very happy. It is also convenient to places to eat and Wal Mart is just across the street.

My Chrysler Crossfire had a mini glass pack from a previous owner and was waaaay to loud. They fit a turbo muffler and now its perfect. Sounds great! The price was reasonable, excellent workmanship. A+++

On a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge we experienced the iconic metallic brake squeels coming into town. Not wanting to chance the drive back we called AllStar Muffler on Saturday morning and they were more than hospitable to look at the problem and fix it if needed. They fill up quick and are first come, first served, but we dropped it off and received a call back in 2-3 hours stating the brakes were fine and we could pick up our van. Couldnt be more pleased at the service and expertise of this repair station. Highly recommended if you find yourself in a similar predicament.

First this place is full auto service and as honest as the day is long. Took my 2007 Lexus RX350 here on a Saturday morning while on vacation. Shake and wobble in the front end. Went to a tire guy up the block and had it checked. Was told by them to take it here. They were busy but managed to look at the car, after a short wait. After a test drive I was told I had a bad CV joint in the drive train. Asked if I could drive safely in the condition it was in. He said it would vibrate but he felt it would not leave me stranded on the 700 mile trip back home. Now think about this. He just gave me an honest assessment of my Lexus and let me go on my way, no charge. Had he just said: You should not drive that car, he could have charged anything. He had me over a barrel. Im driving an expensive car, 700 miles from home, on a Saturday, on vacation. And I did make it home. This place is honest, to people who they dont need to be honest with. Thats something of great value which is so hard to find in this world today. These are men of honor. You can go elsewhere at your own peril.

I was completely over-charged $100 for the part that was repaired when I actually did some research of my own on the exact brand and type All Star Auto told me they used . Also, did not fully fix the actual problem and did the minimum to get as much money as they could without looking at what the root of my starting problem would be. I received inaccurate and false information when I voiced concerns of my car not being fully repaired. I have called to ask questions about the service and to tell All Star that my vehicle is still not running correctly and was met with rude customer service who made me feel like a complete inconvenience.

My son had to take his truck due to he stripped the oil pan plug. These people did it and did not charge a arm and leg. They even went a head and changed his oil for him with out a extra charge on labor. We had the oil. Did not look for anything else that was wrong and try to get more out of you. Great service. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We are not from Sevierville and had the alternator go out on our vehicle. They had is back on the road in less than 30 minutes. I couldnt ask for better service or nicer people.

We were in Pigeon Forge on vacation, we developed brake problems. It was 12:45 on a Saturday afternoon, this was the first place we stumbled upon. They close at 1:00 on Saturday, they welcomed us into the warm office, showed us the problem, quoted us a very reasonable price, had us repaired and in the road by 1:30. All with friendly conversation and a smile. What more could we ask for? We will return here if the need should arise in the future. Thanks John and crew!

My breaks were smoking coming down one of the mountains in the park. I probably road them to hard. So, I took it to Allstar Muffler. They looked at it quickly and found there was no problem and charged me a very reasonable charge to look at the brakes.

We were here on a camping trip and family reunion and my AC went out it was 95 degrees and I had to tow my travel trailer back home the next day and with me was a little dog and my wife. I stopped in to see if they could help me they were super busy but after talking to the owner and explaining to him that I thought the belt had broken because it happened to me last year and I had the compressor replaced at the same time the only problem I had had was a squealing sound after everything was fixed. He went ti take a look at the vehicle five minutes later he came back and told me I needed a new Belt Tensioner. He said they should have changed it when the other place did the other AC repair. Thirty minutes later I was out the door and back to my family reunion.I was a bit surprised at how fast and how nice these people were because when it comes to repair shops you just pray that you picked an honest place. He could have taken me for a couple thousand dollars as I was desperate to get the AC fixed so I could get back home and so I could enjoy the time I had left with my family. If your needing work done to your vehicle I dont think you can go wrong with this business. And the pricing is great.

Due to check engine light coming on I went to local AutoZone for engine code reading and was advised by sales associate to try AllStar. Called AllStar the next morning and took vehicle to have repaired. Was diagnosed and received call by noon that vehicle fixed and could pick up. When speaking with AllStar after being diagnosed, John indicated all he would advise was to replace a bad O2 sensor. Went in with anticipation of needing catalytic converter replaced. We were visiting from Ohio and greatly appreciated the quick turnaround. So far no issues with check engine light reappearing.

Completely disappointed walked in and i was not greated at all. I came there because I read some reviews and thought I would give them my business. the people are rude their uneducated and unethical and immoral. It smelled of alcohol do not take your business there these people are horrible and disrespectful. Im a Christian business owner and I know how to treat a coustmer. So Im fair warning all who wonders in looking for fair treatment this place is not the place.

I woke up early Sat. am and dropped into their shop -found out it was first come, first serve. The mechanic looked at my front disc brakes and said, These are fine! Are you sure theres a problem? I loved the honesty! He proceeded to check my back disc brakes -and they we not good at all. They repaired them as economically as possible - selling me braces for the caliper instead of the entire caliper as my slides for the brakes were frozen, but the caliper was fine. I drove away very happy and still am. I, too, wish this shop was in my hometown!

Had nowhere else to go, and expected to have a crap experience. Guy was rude, treated me/most other customers he interacted with like mouth breathing idiots, welding job wasnt that great as he didnt even weld a flange on properly - it was crooked. Had an exhaust set up that accommodated it so lucky for me, but maybe not for the next guy.Cant recommend, unless youre like me and totally out of options otherwise.
