Had them build all the cabinets and granite for my kitchen remodel about 5 years ago, amazing deal for highest quality, everything has held up perfectly and I am hard of stuff. I had the folks at home depot design and quote me for something similar but not as opulent or pretty, that quote was 6 thousand more than GS, and they did perfect job of installation for entire custom kitchen it came in around 12K, Im actually going back tomorrow to get the kitchen remodel in my rental started, I wouldnt use anyone else if possible. I bought two countertops from GS Building Supply. Both times they gave me a great price. The teams they sent out were excellent and did a great job on the install. I had an issue with some cabinets not being level. They came back out a second time to install and didnt charge me any extra. I would definitely recommend GS Building Supply. They treated me very well.

If your project is budget focused and speak Chinese, this might be the place. if you look for something for your forever home, stay away. If you dont speak Chinese, youll get frustrated.My developer refereed me to them for the new cabinets/counter top. They are good at maneuver your plan to follow their standard but not good at the other way around.Installers were worse. They achieved a new record of my worst constructor experience award. They dont have a notion of to respect someones property. They wont let you know a problem during the installation but make it up in a way that easy for them to go by without letting you know. They invade your home to do their work and mess around and leave. You will be left with their self satisfactory results sitting in a mess. Verbal communication wont solve your problem because they dont speak your language unless you speak Chinese. They arent worth the money. Go somewhere else with a bit bigger budget.

Dont go to this store. Because their sales Ben and his Boss Moon at the head desk trick the installation service fees., they have to itemize service list price but Ben refused to show us service of installation fees including slabs fees, cutting holes and plywood, and re-edge fees in detail itemized list. When we noticed after the job done he double charge the slab install fees, did not deducted an uninstalled slab fees and over charged re-edged fees 6 feet,(everyone please remember he charged 1feet re edged for $40 ) For the over charged almost $900 Ben said I deleted your email, dont want to see that ... he refused to respond my questions, even used his hands covered his ears Until we got confirmation from the workers and brought receipts to his office, his boss Moon at the front desk. His boss asked Ben to recalculate the itemized detail. He first pretended to call the workers then just asked our credit card to return the re-edge fees $240, we suggested that he could calculate the whole project and return the double charge he then showed us a super high installation service itemized charge. Surprised us is after he hinted to his boss and made several small talks and insisted recalculated and showed us A HIGHER ITEMIZED SERVICE FEE to cover his overcharged part. But finally it showed inconsistency. So she was very embarrassed to collect her itemized inconsistency draft sheets from both of them. Please refund the overcharged money

The place itself is nothing special, but I am quite happy with their products. We got kitchen / bathroom cabinets and countertops there 5 years ago, I was a bit skeptical of their quality at first, but everything is holding up great. The cabinets and countertops still look like new, we installed matching hardwood and get many compliments from guests.One thing that impressed me was their install crew. They worked until 11pm and installed everything in one day! Overall very happy with the value we got given the price we paid.Knocking one star off since their store could look better.

I do not recommend this place, especially do not work with customer representative Maro. My husband and I went in person to pick countertops for our kitchen and to have them installed together with plywood. We would have the old countertops removed and ready for them to install. Maro gave us a quote for it. Couple days later we called to schedule the installation, which was two weeks out. A day prior to installation Maro calls us to confirm that we are ready with PLYWOOD down. We specifically asked for plywood installation to be included in the quote. He says it will cost more to install the plywood now. We wouldnt have a problem paying if Maro would acknowledge that he messed up when he prepared the quote, but he kept insisting that it was not in the quote so it is not his fault. We specifically asked for it to be included in the quote in the first place. He did not apologize for the mistake, not once, and kept saying like it was our fault!There is a lot of other places around with better customer services and similar pricing. If you want to save yourself a headache do not shop at GS Building Supply!

Horrible experience with GS, from order to installation. Rude staff with little to no English language skills that makes communication very difficult. You need to be lucky to get your cabinets as ordered. The might provide a better service to a contractor who knows their language and theyve worked together for some time but not a good choice for a one off buyer. We did not find them professional and I do not recommend them at all.

We actually love our cabinets. We got a bid for custom cabinets that was $14,000 from Home Depot and we paid about $5500 from G&S. The quality has been fine (2 years later we havent had any issues). The kitchen looks high-end and the quality has stood the test of time so far. The finish on the cabinets is good. I feel like the other reviews here are expecting $14,000 cabinets for a $5500 price. The cabinets from G&S are constructed of solid wood (plywood) with solid faces for the Maple Shaker. We have referred friends here with similar experiences. As to customer service, we felt it was fine. Right to the point and got us what we needed. We did have to change out a cabinet due to an error with the size (15 vs. 18) and they quickly exchanged it for us with no hassle.

Because all of their product is produced and shipped from China, tariffs and Covid-19 have created a shortage in many of the products they usually have in stock. This makes it difficult to get a full kitchen package, if some pieces simply are unavailable.

If price is most important to you, this is the place to go. If you want quality, stay away. The polish on the quartz is very poor. Samples in the showroom looked good, final product installed has almost no shine to it. The seams in the installation are not smooth and the pieces adjacent to each other were poorly matched. The hole they cut for the sink was too big to the point that you could see through into the cupboard below. This was fixed by using too much caulk. “Bin” The person we worked with said it was completely normal and there was nothing that they could do about it. he said it would be a 1 day installation that became 3 days to complete. He made several assurances that never happened. After the installation was completed they left without caulking the backsplash to the wall. After complaining, this was completed for us but we were told it was not standard. There are other places you can go for only 10 to 20% more money Which will give you a much higher polished piece of material which will look much nicer. I’ve included pictures of the seams for you to see how poorly this looks and how poorly it was matched. If you do decide to do business with them, write down every single promise they make and have them sign it and make it part of the contract. If they won’t do that-walk away.

Pros - affordable, cheaper than Lowes/Home Depot. Kelvin was very good as a mediator between myself and the contractor. The quartz counter top installation was quick, less than 2 hours between the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. All the work was professionally installed. On time.Cons - Contractors has limited English, so talking to them about the project was not effective. Limited on counter tops selection/choice. They left the work place not very clean.Lead time can be long, several weeks, make sure you are flexible with your time during installation day or installation week as the schedule will change.You will need to come in on the morning of the installation around 9am to pick out your slabs, and make sure its the right color and texture that you want. Make sure when you get the quote, give them your drawings, and ask about everything, dont assume they will know.You do get what you pay for but it depends on what is really more important to you.

We drove from Tacoma to come here looking for a bathroom vanity and found some styles we liked, but we had questions and wanted to order one in the right color. The man at the desk was not helpful, rushed us, and gave us a random quote without explanation of which cabinet he was trying to sell us. We were hopeful we would be able to find a new vanity, but the service was terrible l. We will be shopping elsewhere

GS is hit or miss. They have a large volume of orders and cannot consistently provide products or installation. They neither want nor need your business so customer service is a zero. The prices are affordable but not worth the headache. We used them for a kitchen pantry and it went smoothly. We tried using them for a bathroom vanity and cabinetry, epic fail. It took 99 days from the purchase date to get a scheduled installation. Then 36 days after the promised installation, the products finally arrived to their store. (I had to drive to GS because they werent answering their phones.) I finally cancelled the order and got a refund because they still wouldnt fit me on their installation schedule. I thought theyd apologize or try to make things right. But like I said, they dont need business.

We are very happy with the cabinets we bought from GS Cabinets a year ago. Mia created a great kitchen design and Im so happy with how everything is laid out. They delivered all the cabinets on time & in perfect condition, and did a fantastic job installing the countertops. I am so thankful for everyone at GS!!!

Worst sales staff ever, not trained at all. I asked a few questions and all I got is “l don’t know” or “you have to figure it out yourself”. I can imagine how their customer service will be if there is anything wrong after buying their product. I don’t care their price, Just won’t buy things here.

We bought an old house and completely gutted it for remodel. GS did the granite counters and cabinets for our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a home bar. The only thing I can complain about is that their selection of BEAUTIFUL granite and quartz made it really hard to choose the ones I liked best. The craftsmanship of the kitchen cabinets is outstanding. Over a year of family use, and it looks and works like new. The absolute beauty and quality of the granite is also outstanding. The installers were very fast and remarkably precise. Jenny was extremely helpful with designing the kitchen layout, and was also a gifted professional, having to work with our less than stellar contractor. Thank you GS for making my home spectacularly beautiful (for much less than anyone would guess)!

Our counter top installation looks amazing. The seams by Cong disappeared and the tops are flawless. His crew installed our custom kitchen and three bathrooms in one day! We highly recommend counter tops by GS Building Supply.

Our contractors had made the recommendation for this company. We picked out a dark grey. GS Building Supply came out and installed two different shades of the same countertop (the kitchen sink section not shown is also the light version). When we pointed out the difference, their response was - sorry, that is how the slabs were sent to us. We asked them to fix it OR give us 30% back on the payment. They offered us 10% instead or to come and rip everything out and give us back our money. Never took responsibility for their mistake and blames it on their supplier!

Bin He took care of our order for a custom quartz bar top. It was an offset rectangle and it is perfect. We bought cabinets and tops last year and we’re really pleased with the looks and durability. Nice to have a dependable company with excellent staff!

Dont ever go there, I had the worst experience in my life .I went there to get a new kitchen, i met with the sales rep who give a very hard time, i had to call them so many times to fix their mistakes, first they sent the wrong cabinets after I paid for the installer, he had to come again to do the cabinets and it took me hours to solve the problems, and then when they came to install the granite, after I paid theall the cost of the material, they sell it to another customer, so I had to go there to pick a different one.They are so rode and never be in your side, so I dont recommend them to anyone.

Four contractors said it would cost me $50k to renovate my kitchen using low end finishes. It cost me about $7000 for pre-assembled cabinets and 3 x (3 x 8) MARBLE slabs. I had enough slab left to redo my bathroom counter too! Sure, You gotta stay on top of your own order details, but for the money youll save, its well worth it!

At this point 1 star is too much for the service or better yet, lack of service I received today. The items I was going to pick up were actually supposed to be ready yesterday but yet they were still not put together and its clear there wasnt even a effort to try. Absolutely by far the WORST, DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL company Ive ever done business with. AND FOR A SMALL PRICE OF 7K YOU TOO CAN EXPERIENCE THE SAME!!!I emailed them my design ( pictures, layout, list of everything I wanted from RTA) and asked for a bid. Jenny got back to me with $7k quote, It was $1500 more than my original bid, but the upside is that they will assemble the cabinets, so I agreed. We went ( 200 miles each way) and picked up the cabinets and thats when nightmare has started. Half of the cabinets dont match the design I gave them. After several attempts and being put on hold for 10 min at a time, I got a hold of Jenny ( they assign a person and thats who you can only talk to ). Before I can even figure out where the discrepancies are, (Jenny is almost impossible to understand), I get yelled at by Jenny and get hung up on. I am looking at my design, trying to have these cabinets installed and nothing makes sense. After being yelled at some more and hung up on few more times and not getting anywhere, I Finally got her to send me a design of what she sold me. Well, heres a surprise. She completely rearranged my kitchen. Took out all the cabinets with drawers and replaced them all with simple base double door cabinets, and moved my appliances around.And not in a single conversation prior to me paying, mentioned that this quote is for a cheap version of my kitchen and nothing like a design I gave her. Long story short, if you want authentic Chinese customer service experience, by all means...but know, youve been warned.

We went in to look for a 48 bathroom vanity. We inquired about placing an order with one of the sales reps. He was very rude and would not answer any of our questions. He just pointed to a kitchen display and said that is stock and that is what you will get. He printed out a quote and refused to answer anymore questions. We walked around and looked at some of their pre-made vanities that already have sinks and countertops installed. The craftsmanship was very poor. On some of the ones I looked at the upper drawers wouldnt open because the countertop interfered with them. Steer clear of this place.

People stay away from this place its a mess and not safe looks like they dont know meaning of being organized.. selling a damaged materials and when I told them its bad I dont want that piece they get offensive... really?? their prices for a contractors is extremely high and their customer relationship does not exist in their world. I mean this is the worst place to do any business at all. If u want better quality and better customer relationship go to grand jk I Kent this is better place to go to even though they also have their days.

Jerry Li helped us design our entire kitchen, start to finish, with new cabinets and countertops, and the end product looks terrific. The pricing was the best I could find. Jerry was very responsive every step of the process. The quality of the Walnut cabinets is very high, and the installer was a perfectionist and did excellent work. When there was an issue with the sink I ordered, they put in lots of extra time custom designing a cabinet to make it work. And when one of the countertops didnt fit quite right, they came back at my request to swap it out and make it right.

Couldnt he happier with GS, I was recommended by a friend to use them because he was very happy with the quality of his cabinets and quartz 2 years after install. After doing research and reading reviews I was apprehensive and quite frankly nervous because of the mix bag of reviews. After the completion of my project Im extremely happy I went with them, the week of my project I had a death in the family and another family member had a massive stroke and was in acoma they were able to move my installation and work around my last minute schedule changes, the lady I worked with Moon was so nice and helpful it was amazing. When it came to the cabinet installation the guy was so good at communicating what needed to be adjusted or changed during install. The following day my counter tops were being installed and that team as well was very good about asking what i wanted and they even had to create a template for my sink as I didnt receive a template from the company I purchased my sink thru. Just from reading the reviews and seeing issues other customers ran into I believe the disconnect might be in the expectations. GS is not going to be a contractor type experience, theyre not going to hold your hand throughout the process like a contractor would, but this is reflected in there prices. If you know what you want and are able to manage the process on your own you cant beat the pricing of GS, I shopped around all over the place, yes many places I walked into I would be greeted by an employee and they would walk me thru all the different products and hold my hand thru the mock up of my bid, but I was usually the only customer at these stores when I would visit. Walking into GS on the other hand you will have to approach an employee to get some help yes, but everytime I have visited the store its been packed! Thats a big reason I decided to take a chance and go with GS, I couldnt imagine the store always being so busy if customers werent satisfied with the product. So in my opinion if youre confident in your own plan and you know what youre looking for and can communicate it clearly and specifically youre going to get what you are expecting. If you are not confident in what you want done then youre probably better off hiring a contractor but expect to pay double. Hope this helps someone that might be on the fence based on reading reviews.

Zero customer service. I have had numerous issues with this company so far, here they are-1. I was working with one of their salesmen on putting my estimate together and called to place the final order. They would not let me place an order with anyone but the salesmen I was working with. When I called, I was transferred to him and put on hold for over 5 minutes, so I hung up. This happened 5 times, the final time I had to ask that they not put me on hold so that I could place my order. Once they finally listened to how many times I had been transferred and just placed on hold, they took my order.2. I was told I could pick up my cabinets on a specific date. I called to see if they were ready on this date, and the exact same situation stated above happened-I called 3 times and each time was put on hold. One of the times someone answered from their cell phone (to the main line) and said she was not at the store so she could not tell me if my cabinets were ready. My contractor ended up driving down there himself and waited an hour until the order was finalized and picked them up for me. No communication between the company and I-only between my contractor and GS.-Note: They did not even confirm who my contractor was, they just gave him my cabinets.3. Now is the real annoyance. I also ordered counter tops from GS and planned on having them install these counters. I called to schedule the installation date and they told me they would come at 4pm Saturday. I called back a few minutes later just to ask if they call on their way, which they dont, and then told me they would be there at 12pm instead.--Saturday rolls around and at 3pm I called to confirm whether the actual time they were coming was 12pm (which had since passed) or 4pm. At this time, they tell me they are not in fact coming at all, and will be there Monday at 11am instead. I had to call to figure this out, they did not inform me otherwise beforehand.---Today is Monday. When the contractors were not here by 11:30am, I called GS to see where they were. At this time, I was told they would be here at 3pm. At this point, I told them it was unexceptable and they needed to get here earlier. Fast forward an hour, 12:30pm the contractors show up. They took measurements, but then told me they had another job they needed to get to so would be back at 6pm.--The contractors came back around 7pm and finished up everything within the hour.4. GS did not give me the hardware to install the shelving in my cabinets. I called and asked them to give the hardware to the guys that were coming to install the counters, which they did not. So now, I have to drive back to GS, which is an hour from my home, to go pick up the parts I already paid for which I shoud have been given in the first place.I would like to note one thing here-GS sub contracts to those that are installing your counters and cabinets. Jerry, who was my salesmen in this case, tells you what you want to hear rather than the trust. The installers and GS are NOT the same company. Jerry/GS tells you they were be there at xxx time because they want you to be happy and think you are getting quick service. The sub contractors do NOT have a say in what GS tells people. The sub contractors that installed my counter top were actually very nice, and it is too bad I could not communicate directly with them in the first place. It would have been nice for them to tell me from the get go that they could not come till Monday evening.Do not order from this company unless you are fine with zero customer service and waiting for weeks or even months to get your finished product.

The cabinet displays had quality hardware, but the box details on the doors and drawers had manufacturing flaws. The front detail on the granite counters had clearly visable seams from 8 feet away. The prices were fantastic!

They only put in tap screws to support a 30 inch cabinet then told me the contractor was supposed to add more if needed. If needed, if I had put my pltes in the cupboard the whole cabinet would had a. Ome down. They cut the hole for the sink to big. Now my sink wont fit. They are not quailty and do sloppy work. My granite was not supported behind where the sink should be. There crown molding was cut in the center of the longest piece of trim and not well.

Came by my apartment building (Parkside apartments) in Redmond last Thursday, and were cutting stone countertops out in the parking lot, and shooting dirt and dust all over everybodys cars, including my brand new one. Couldnt take the time to put up some tarps or plastic to prevent this, so pretty unprofessional.

Worst customer service ever. Did not go around and help customers even when we asked for it. They just know how to sit, and point there fingers to showed us the materials.

If there would be - 5 stars, I would give them that score . Most pathetic company you can deal with. They measure 3 times the vanity tops and cut them 4 times wrong. I have never been out of that place in less then 1 hr when they promised the product to be ready for pickup. If you have to go in the back to get your stuff you need fishing boots so you dont get your shoes soaking wet and muddy.Their system is a mess, the fabrication is awful quality.
