The sales person, Michael, is friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us great detail about the differences in the different types of equipment and also gave us plenty of space to make our own decisions. I especially appreciate that he did not try to push us into buying anything that doesnt suit our need. I noticed that some reviewers had issue about the delivery speed. Because I ordered something that they had in store, the delivery was really fast. I got a call the next day (which was a Friday) and then on the following Monday the equipment was delivered. This might not be the case if the equipment wasnt in store, but I wouldnt be able to know. The delivery personnel were also friendly and professional (I think they are with Life Fitness the manufacturer). The helped set up everything and demonstrated the basic use of the equipment. Ive had the elliptical for a week now and have nothing to complain. Overall, I thought the current rating is somewhat low so Id just put in my two cents here.

I am 62 years old. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and then diagnosed with MS 40 years ago. My answer to life was to exercise. As I have aged, my form of exercise is changing. I left the Neuro-rehab MD in Seattle last month and chose to walk to Fitness Outlet in downtown Seattle. My mission was to purchase a rowing machine. This is where I met Brooke. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. My rowing machine was shipped to our home and arrived right on time. My husband was able to assemble and I now have my new, latest form of exercise! Brooke has sent me several you-tube videos to help me learn how to row correctly. I truly enjoy this new “toy” and cannot thank Brooke and Fitness Outlet enough. I can continue to live my life to the fullest and enjoy my addiction to exercise! Lori Jacobs

I was just doing preliminary research on treadmills and other equipment which I want to someday acquire and Brooke was there to answer every question I had and point out some very interesting facts about each machine/piece of equipment which I hadnt thought of. She was very knowledgeable and thoroughly addressed all of my questions. Thanks!

We were very impressed with the selection of treadmills and ellipticals they had here. We had done some research and came prepared to shop for a treadmill for my wife and an elliptical for me (have knee issues) and although I am no expert on either pieces of equipment I felt I had enough knowledge to ask the right questions. Michael was the salesperson that helped us and I was extremely knowledgeable about the equipment and showed us the right pieces of equipment for our needs and not the most expensive. We are very happy with the equipment and plan to use it a lot. One thing to note is that the selection on their website is much larger than what they have in the store.

Service was personal, but not pushy, Brooke was most knowledgeable and very, very helpful. Equipment is very well engineered and well worth the price. If and when I have need of other equipment, Brooke and the Fitness Outlet will be the first that I will go to.

When you order something online through The Fitness Outlet they charge your card a lot of money only to say they are out of stock for 2 weeks. Their answer.... oh the website isnt updated- you can get a refund and get your money back in 1 week or just wait 2+ weeks for your product. Too bad there isnt an option to rate - awful customer service! They could care less of my frustration obviously since they already have my money! I do not recommend them, IF you do buy anything make sure to call and confirm before purchasing.

I bought a power rack and a Keiser MC3 indoor bike. I also paid for the power rack to be assemble and delivered. They told me it was going to take two weeks to be delivered... Its been almost a month now since the purchase. Last week they told me the power rack was back-ordered 1 year so they sold offered me another one that they had in the Seattle warehouse. I had to pick it up myself and they never assembled it (I did get refunded for the assembly). My suggestion if you want to buy something from them: Only buy what they have available in the store... And also Michael (the sales person) needs to improve his customer service skills. They have good prices and quality equipment.

More like -5Stay away from doing business with David Hopkins. Hell misinform you and lie just to get that sale.Such a bad experience with these folks. So unprofessional and lack of ownership. What should have been a 7-10 day delivery of items ordered, turn out to be 5 weeks. After repeated calls and emails and no concrete honest answers. Just step aside and let others who really love their work, take over.

I went in on Sunday looking for something similar to the Bowflex M5. The sales associate, Michael, explained the promise of the bowflex and why I could get the same results on my own stationary bike! He was very knowledgeable and worked with me to identify what equipment and training would work best for me. I left with all the information on a LifeFitness HX Rower!
