Now these are some fantastic donuts! I have no idea why people go to Dunkin Donuts when there is Donut Factory around. The variety of the donuts is incredible. The quality is amazing. They are fresh, and even good the next day. We visited this place after visiting the U of W campus. This would be a short walk for students if they want donuts. There is even a Subway sandwich shop next store, and a pot shop. I guess these restaurants do good business being next to their shop. The munchies… 🌱 😁

Donuts are soft, flavorful, and unique. Staff is nice. Prices are fair. Id recommend stopping in if youre in the area, but theres nothing crazy special here.

Great selection of donuts and we had them create lettered ones to help us welcome our friend’s new baby. Loved the lemon filled ones too. The only bummer was the the Jelly filling wasn’t added to the PB&J donuts.

The donuts are amazing and the selection is great. My only complaint is they have a combo deal that says two donuts and 12oz of drip. I personally don’t like coffee so one of the workers said I could have milk which is perfect with donuts. I came back the next day and asked for the same thing but was told they couldn’t do milk. I won’t be going back because of the customer service and confusion but I do recommend them if you can’t find another donut place nearby.

Ordered a custom box for a 7th birthday party. They did a great job. The donuts are as delicious as they were fun and festive. Made for a lovely memory.

The customer service here was excellent! Very attentive, accommodating, friendly, efficient, and extra nice. The donuts were superb too. Lots of unique flavors. I got a maple donut with Bavarian cream in it for $2.25 and it was delicious! Will be my new go-to donut spot in the city.

Such yummy soft and fun donuts! Staff was super nice and talkative. We got a 1/2 dozen and finished it in a 24 hour period. They have the trendy donuts with the cereal if that’s what you’re looking for. Everything tasted good the next day.

Updated: my primary complaint was going there and my perceived irregularity of their supply of vegan doughnuts. Ive since been informed that Friday is a day they have those. Idk if thats changed or they were always that way, if the later my apologies. But yeah, cool place anyone still reading five stars all day.

The coffee is tasty, and the ube doughnut lived up to my expectations. I was impressed by the variety and presentation. Their two doughnuts & a coffee special is a good deal — can’t wait to go back.

Just another over priced donut shop. The previous donut shop I believe was called Lys Donuts had the best doughnuts in town. My favorite where the apples fritters. I really miss those guys😢.

Good donuts; although one of the employees tells me tipping is automatic and the other gives me a choice every time. Kind of awkward to realize after coming here a few times, wondering how many times it happened.

At 10:00am got two cake donuts, Green Matcha and Blueberry. The counter person. Said the blueberry were still in back. The blueberry was everything I love in donuts: crunchy glazed outside, soft cake inside, great balance of blueberry and donut flavor.Green Match was good. Did not pick up the tea flavor until I took a small bite of just the frosted side but then was able to pick it up. Worth another sometime.

The variety here is incredible, and there are really unique options. It takes so long for me to choose when I go. Ive so far had the strawberry cream cheese raised, the ube raised, the biscoff raised bar, and the boston cream buttermilk bar. All have been incredible.

Order donuts while in town visiting family. Told the young lady behind the counter to just throw in her favorites and make it a dozen. While I have Celiac and was not able to partake my daughters LOVED these donuts. Light and airy, glazed the right amount. They said the variety the employee gave us were a little intimidating but so good. Donut Factory makes the best donuts in Seattle. They have a huge variety of types of donuts and every single one is good. The last time I was in Seattle I ended up going there three times in a week. Hands down my favorite donut place ever. If you have a Husky Card or an Orca Card you get discounts, and they have a donut happy hour where you can get donuts for less as well later on in the day. I really recommend the Nutella Bar and the Cinnamon Sugar Twist, its a must try if youre in the area and in the mood for something sweet!

Best donut place in Seattle. I often feel overwhelmed with the choices and I love that every time I go there theres always something new to try. Not to mention they have donut ice cream sandwiches, whatever came up with donut ice cream sandwiches gets my eternal life and respect.

IF youre in the area AND IF money is no object, then youre good. The donuts are overall good.The Bad:1) Its extremely expensive. Youre paying $3 or $4 for a donut that you could find anywhere else for 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4 the price.2) For the price, I expect something amazing. The only reason I came here was to try out the Ferrero Rocher donut. The normal Ferrero Rocher chocolate is amazing for two simple reasons, it contains Nutella and Hazelnut. I expected the donut to contain Nutella and Hazelnut. Instead, it was just not-so-great dark chocolate glazing with peanuts. Its a completely different taste, the Ferrero Rocher in the middle feels like an afterthought.3) I ordered a lemon filled donut... Except it had no filling at all. I could see the hole where theyre supposed to fill it but they had forgotten to fill it.4) I also got the glazed buttermilk bar, it was very dense and dry.5) Got the chocolate coconut cake and you couldnt taste the coconut while the cake was very dry.The good:1) the filled donuts (Bavarian cream, raspberry) are very good, plain donut as well.2) Bacon Maple Bar was absolutely delicious. Hats off on this one.In conclusion, they have good donuts but for the price you can go somewhere else and get something comparable or better at a substantial lower price.

Donuts are meh, the glaze is pretty bland. The coffees basically brown water. I didnt try their ice cream sandwiches though! Overall pretty disappointed.

This is the perfect place for when you have a sweets craving! Donuts are delicious and the coffee is a great companion. Crobar (croissant donut) and crueller are a great treat. The location can seem a bit sketchy at times but usually safe. Free parking. Parking lot is small and limited.

Love-love -LOVE this place! My boyfriend and I are donut fanatics and are always trying to find the perfect 206 maple bar and thought wed found it in the Northern north end at a local bakery until we stopped here one morning on a whim, and oh, boy! We were ever glad we did because their maple bars (along with every other donut we tried, which has been a plethora of such over the past month or so because we regrettably live only blocks away from this place but maybe not so regrettably because I need the extra calories 😁) were so perfect! Just enough maple frosting, perfect length and the absolute most bestest moist-ness dough, and if maple bars arent your thing, no problemo because they have all sorts of other donuts! (A couple of my other favorites being the regular cake donut with white frosting and sprinkles and also the cinnamon roll) Anyway, if youre in the area, and in the mood for something sweet, stop by their quaint little shop and grab something to your liking, you wont be disappointed! (One little qualm might be that their location is a little awkward, as is their parking lot but I wont dock them any stars cause thats not essentially their fault, just be forewarned)

My favorite donut spot in Seattle. Try the Bavarian filled buttermilk bar. It’s so good. I also loved the blueberry fritter, go with the XL.

Some days are different than others. We occassionally stop by after doctor visits and have had really good flavored chocolate bars and other days theyre really flat/soggy and the chocolate runs off. Also when you pack them in a box, they shouldnt touch because all the frosting comes off 😞 thats what happened today.Overall I do like coming here for some of the fancy options, its fun for kids!

This aint your mom and pop donut shop!! Came a while back before the renovation and donuts were great quality but very traditional...not this time. They had a maple bacon bar! Last time I had one was in another state south of us! Will be back!

There are strawberry crullers listed on their menu, and the previous owner always had them. Well, Donut Factory still has them listed as a regular menu item, but they no longer make them. I asked about getting them removed off the menu online and in the shop and was just given a shrug. I guess you dont really have to put any effort in when its all just students.

Disappointed. Have been here a few times and have had some good donuts. But today, a Saturday morning, the crullers werent fresh, the cronut actually tasted rancid (old oil?) The maple bar was under done, still doughy. Only the plain cake was good.

The donut place that was here before was abysmal. THIS place is FANTASTIC.They have dozens of different donut types, including vegan options and unique flavors (matcha, anyone?). Donuts are fresh, atmosphere is fun, line is usually long but fast-moving.

Their donuts are NOT quality at all, kinda expensive for the poor quality, and I dont know why some others give it a good review. Might only appeal to people who like to eat straight sugar. Apple fritter had no apple or flavor and the blueberry (pellet) cake donut was soggy (no crispy outside). Top Pot is much better and cost much less! Ly Donuts (the former owner of the shop) were much, much better.

I have been there twice, first time donuts were fine but very expensive. Second time donuts were inedible. Old and dry. They are selling day(s) old donuts as fresh. Old dude who ran the place before would never have done that, too bad he is not still the owner.

The place has terrible parking, I waited almost 10 minutes just to park. I should have left and and shopped at Safeway. The wait was not worth it. They do have a variety of donuts, but, I have bought better tasting donuts at Safeway, and QFC ! For half the price. I will definitely never spend my money in your establishment.

I stopped in excited about the grand opening in the U Dist today around noon today kJuly 5).Order a half dozen of cake donuts and buttermilk bars for $11. Which is a $1 savings. Yep $2 per donut.I was a little disappointed by the limited selection of the fancy donuts. The fancy donuts are not part of the half dozen $11, as these are more than $2 each!My biggest disappointment is that out only 1 out of 6 seemed fresh. A cinnamon one. I pinched a taste of each flavor. All were dry and very heavy! The powder sugar ones I dont try as visually they looked old.1st and last visit to The Donut Factory. You shouldnt sell your customers 1 or 2 day old donuts decietfully as baked fresh on any day!Many donut lovers know the difference!

Buttermilk raspberry donut was excellent. Service was friendly, did not order a drink, but the combos were very reasonably priced. Discounts were available for UW students and even if you have an ORCA card.
