Great, quick service. Staff is very knowledgeable which comes in handy when finding where to start when glancing at a long list of great beers. There is something here for all beer lovers!

Cool little bottle shop/pub. Beertender offered a couple different types of the hazy I ordered after I sat. Very cool. Clean, open, 40 ish+ taps!

Great bar, 48 well-chosen craft taps. They have a modern beer board that shows live keg status, so their website also reflects a live tap status. Pretty cool. Meanwhile, a nice kids area and a connected lil Woodys hamburgers and a pizza place. Tons of seating all around. Highly recommended.

Great big beer selection, and the kegs are nice and fresh. Good service too. Woodys burgers and BBQ next door make for great food options.

We love beer star! We moved to Burien summer of 2019 and sadly didn’t really find this place until a year later. We love all of there draft options and the fact that our dog Matilda can come inside too is great. Super friendly staff and always nice patrons makes this a superb spot to grab a beer (or a cider) and hang out. Oh and the owners are super friendly and we always appreciate their hospitality!

We had such a wonderful experience here last night. The staff were delightful, the beer selection great, and there was fantastic outdoor seating well spaced out. The whole experience felt very safe! And, the owner was incredibly gracious, checking in on us several times and expressing his gratitude for our patronage. At a time when we are all so isolated, it was really nice to feel a part of a community. Plus, the owner’s dog couldn’t be sweeter...an extra treat!! Can not recommend enough!!

Rad Beer Selection. Great service. You can bring in your own food. There is a family area and just an adult area. Cute little kids area for kids to play. There is a bar you can sit at or tables for adults where kids are not allowed. They have a small selection of food items you can purchase. 42 beers on tap. Have red and white wine for thoes that want wine. A huge selection of beer you can come in and purchase to take home. There are growlers to go. Great atmosphere to come and hang out. Hours of operation vary. They are open til 11pm Friday and Saturdays. M-thurs open til 9pm.

I stopped in to the new Lil Woodys, and surprise, surprise... It shares a space with a new joint called Beer Star.I browsed the cooler section while waiting on my burger, which is the rather obvious plan of their marketing strategy.Lots and lots of craft beers from all over, with smaller sections for wine, and fruit cider.The bar is long, and the place is brightly lit. The ambience is more like a large cafe than a bar.The bar tender was extra friendly, once he was done with his iPhone.I bought a couple bottles of something new to try with our burgers. My rating might change after I spend more time there.But the way, at 7pm on a Thursday, the place was mostly full. Not crowded, but a nice crowd.

If you’re a parent looking for a place you can come with your kids to grab a libation from an extensive selection, I couldn’t think of a better place for you.If you are NOT a parent, however, and are looking for a relaxing spot for a drink after work, this might not be your first choice.The selection in the fridges and on tap is good. A few other notes - this is a pet friendly spot that usually has a few dogs present at any given time. Parking is whatever you find on the street, usually a couple blocks away.Beer Star sells snacks (for both humans and dogs) but there are two food court style restaurants in the same open floor plan and you can take the food into Beer Star, which is where most of the seating is. Lil Woody’s burgers had been in there for a while and the other food stand is currently pizza.

This is one of our favorite local Hangouts. Beer selection is fine. Love being able to grab food from local restaurants and eat with entire family over some beers.

Each time Ive gone here Ive enjoyed myself. Sure, it has to do with being around friends, but this place is very casual, has a huge selection of beers, and is very open-spaced. Its a nice place to just chill or pick up a few bottles of something youve never tried. Will go again. Also, the staff is nice and will recommend different brews to try. Which I really appreciate.

This family Beer Hall was an ideal place for our dog birthday party! Coopers one year old party was a big hit with his fellow pugs, as well as all the other dogs in attendance. From pug to Great Dane every dog got its share of admiring children. The manager / owner? Went out of his way to help us put together enough tables. And this during probably the busiest time. Of the beer hall week.I had a very pleasant time sharing the afternoon with friends, dogs, our potluck and the 4-oz sampler tray of our hosts dozens of superb beers...

First time here and I was impressed. Lots of beer to select from on tap and even more in the cold case. Great seating with lots of TVs and its connected to a pizza place. They even have a little kids area for the little ones. I recommend and will definitely be back.

Met up with a buddy here for a quick drink. Amazing beer selection. It is connected to Lil Woodys next door for food.This place is very family friendly. I had my 3 month old daughter with me and there were at least 3 other groups of kids there on a Thursday evening. They have a small play area and a whole wall for the kids to draw on with chalk.I believe this stay at home dad has found his new favorite meet up spot.

New to the area and thought my boyfriend was bringing me to another bar to watch football. Turns out this place isn’t just another bar! The drink options are amazing & open vibe feels amazing. Would absolutely go here for another game and even just for fun.

Great local hangout. Family friendly, pet friendly, sports on the big screen, great vibes. I really like that there is no limitations on dining options, cause you can bring whatever you want. The staff are cool, and friendly. Its a place that attracts great people.

We love to stop in here to fill up our growler. Its great our pooch can tag along and is always welcomed by the owner with a dog treat. He might love this place more than we do. :)

First time here and loving the huge selection of items on tap. Turn around and theres even more selection in bottles and cans in their 10 or so built-in fridges. Friendly and helpful bartenders. Lots of indoor and some outdoor seating. Gets loud on Fridays, as it should I guess :)

Play area for young kids and many TVs typically set to sports. Lots of take home beer options, friendly staff, relaxed place. Great place to hang out, grab a drink and enjoy company.

I was really excited about this place. For one because I thought it was just like the Beer Junction in West Seattle, but the selection of beer to buy was small, the selection of beer to drink was huge though. It does have a lot of seating and from what I have been told you can order food from the surrounding restaurants and the restaurant will bring it to you. That is nice. Helps build the community.

During Covid they are putting a bottle of hand sanitizer at each table, seating people very far apart and doing a great job of distancing, wearing masks and keeping everything clean!

What keeps it from a five star rating? Too many kids running about like its Chucky cheese. I dont have kids and dont care for their howls. But the space is great with high vaulted timbers, a semi-industrial design, comfortable tables and friendly service. Two restaurants adjoin the space and offer burgers and a modern take on Chinese-American.

This place is great. Beer on one side, food on the other, plus you can bring in your own. Dogs and kids welcomed with an area for the over-21 crowd. Did I mention theres a Brio train set for the kids?

Prices can be better, but great selection. They keep the beer board organized so you know exactly what to choose from. They pro-rate the beer price so a bit different than other place where they just charge you for a flight.

Beer Star is beyond great. We live bringing our dog here. The beer selection is awesome. The small snack options a perfect and being so close to larger dining establishments is a big perk. The staff are amazing, if you run into the owner youll be pleasantly surprised to see him pouring pints, kissing babies and feeding treats to the puppers hanging out. I couldnt speak more highly of this place. Its a favorite in White Center and my wife and I always bring friends here.
