We went here this evening for the pumpkin beers but found the pilsners and ales to be a better bet. Most of all, there are a lot of choices. Never disappointing.
Great place to get a pint or flight. good selection of craft beer for carryout.
I love this place. The beer selection is second to none in the area with both difficult-to-find and New seasonal flavors. What more could you ask for!!
They have my favourite mead here.
This is one of the best beer bar/store I have been too. Their bar area is nice with over 30 taps to choose from. This is a good amount of seating and you can look out onto California Ave. In the back they have one of the best beer selections I have seen. You can get singles or in packs. If you enjoy beer you need to stop here. They even feature a different brewer most Thursdays. Staff is great too, very helpful and friendly.
Best beer selections and prices that Ive seen in Seattle. We stop here during the farmers market to have a place to sit and get a growler fill. Great way to spend an evening
They have an awesome selection of beer and the employees are always super helpful to find something new
Nice mix of bottle shop and pub. Personally a lot of enchanting bottles and cans for me. Vast tap lists makes me waver for aeons what to choose in the samplers too. Quite far from downtown area, but totally worth a visit. Crews are also very kind and helping. Free parking available just back of the venue.
Love the Beer Junction! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, especially Henry!
Beer in a friendly setting on a warm day. Didnt wait to order or to be seated. Walked right up, placed my order and sat outside. Within a minute I had a cold beer
Always worth stopping in to check out the selection of cans/bottles and see whats on tap. Knowledgeable staff helps you choose the best beer for the night.
Awesome selection! Friendly knowledgeable staff. Love the taproom.
Always with the freshest, bestest local cans and taps! Helpful, down-to-earth staff.
Great selection both on tap and to go.Little pricey, but generally friendly service.
Spring is definitely coming! A couple tables inside and outside, selection is awesome as always.
Always love going here! The beer suggestions are always spot on.
Went in to fill a couple of growlers. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Awesome selection on tap and bottled. They are taking social distancing seriously and limiting the number of people in the shop. Sanitizer at the entrance and everyone has masks on. Great job!!
Incredible selection of beer on tap and in their coolers. Employees are always super knowledgeable and friendly, especially the bald man. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is I wish there was more seating/seating with seat backs. Its hard for me to sit without seat backs and because I am frequently there right after work its nice to be able to sit after standing all day. My favorite beer house in Seattle so far.
Really great selection of drinks compared to other beer stores in the area. Not overfilled with nothing but IPAs. Lots of single beers of all kinds. Very good cider and sour selection. (Some of the best Ive ever seen). A well rounded selection. Beers on tap. Dont think you can drink in there because of covid but can get growlers filled. Had to wait in line for a bit but was worth it.
Amazing variety of beers, especially the local ones. Also with one the best hot sauces available! (Samfuego) fresh and local out of Kirkland! #supportsmallbusiness
Great Beer selection nice atmosphere, good vibe!!!!
Best Beer Selection in Seattle. You dont have to spend a ton to get great beers.Do your homework on sites like Beer Advocate and enjoy!
This place has gems galore, and a helpful, friendly staff. They always have something for me to explore, and carry a wide range of whatever Im looking for. I enjoy the atmosphere and browsing almost as much as I enjoy the whiskies I purchase there!
Great beer selection and very helpful staff.
So many beers from around the world in the fridge, an ever rotating tap of multiple beers/ciders to fill growlers and staff that want to help you find what you like (not push their preferences)
A corkage fee to sit and drink a can of beer? Yeah no
Great beer selection, both on tap and in the fridge (to go). Small seating are at the front, but long tables along the coolers to stand should it get that busy. Makes it easy to shop with a pint in your hand. Great spot, right on California in West Seattle. Definitely worth a stop.
Great selection of beer, friendly and helpful staff. Ive never been disappointed by their suggestions.
Great selection of beers on tap and friendly staff
They have such an enticing selection that I spend way too much money and then promptly get hammered each time I visit.
I love coming to this place. They always have a great variety of beer, and various brews. You can even grab something from the cooler and pay a bottle open fee. This can be a busy place on weekend evenings, so prepare for that! Theres one bathroom available for customers with a code. A Local neighborhood favorite!
This is the place to go for beer in Seattle. It can get crowded during popular times, but people are good about making space to let you browse the coolers.Employees arent overly friendly, but that is just fine with a Seattle Freeze devotee like me. After a busy weekend, employees are sometimes a bit salty. Id rather have that than a Midwestern exchange of life stories, though. Employees always ask if I need help finding anything, give recommendations, and keep the bar line moving nicely.Although hyped beers will move quickly, they always have something interesting in stock to buy.
The best place in town to buy beer. Fantastic for browsing. And a great place to grab a pint.
Like most Seattle baristas or bartenders, you feel like youre bothering THEM by bringing your money there. I was with a guest from Cali who liked to tour breweries, so to me the typical Seattle attitude didnt represent. A little friendliness isnt hard, especially when my friend was dropping money and a serious brewery enthusiast. Beer was good. Beer suggestion was good. Location was cool.
Amazing selection! The list makes for a good read and theyre always willing to offer a sample. They take their business seriously and it shows in the attention to every detail. Truly a West Seattle asset!
Great food. !!!
Five stars. Nuff said.
The biggest question is why youre not reading this review from inside The Beer Junction? Or, maybe you are! If so, congratulations! You are currently inside the best bottle shop in Seattle. Now, Seattle is the largest city in the region, and that region produces around 75% of the hops, fairly important to most popular beer styles, in the country. What does this all mean? It means youve freaking arrived! Congrats, again! Soak it in, champ! Well done! As I leave the West Coast, what Ill miss most is right where you might be standing. Again, congratulations for making it.
Probably one of the most diverse tap lists Ive seen in Seattle! Many beers from around Oregon that I dont often see here. Bartenders were all friendly, prices are reasonable, and the space is quite nice.Really the only negative is that there is only one bathroom! The line can get long quickly.
Crazy good selection of beers. I had a craft beer flight that was outstanding in its quality and variety. It will take a few trips to get through the menu!
Great selections, friendly and super knowledgeable staff. Matthew and Andrew are great at helping me pick out beers when I know what I want to taste but dont know which beer matches that. So good!
Clean simple great selection
Truly amazing draught and bottled beer selection. We were there for one of many extraordinary special events - a coffee beer festival. Great place, cool people, and many nearby restaurants from which you can bring food in.
Great spot promoting local and solid beers, and they have the selection to back it up. Doubles as a Beer mini-mart and bar, and is a great place to stop through to pick up some unique beer for home, fill your growlers, or just get a couple pours between buddies. Glad these guys are around, as there arent many spots like them. Great location on California as well.
This is the happiest place in West Seattle, and possibly the entire world. They have a great selection of beers and other concoctions (mead, anyone?). The Beer Junction is an excellent post-work stop, and they also have periodic special offerings. Its one of my favorite places to take visitors. In summary, The Beer Junction is further proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. 😁🍻
Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Great product displays. Phenomenal selection.
They have knowledgeable staff and every beer you can imagine. Just a great little spot to hangout and drink beer. No food but they let you bring in your own.
Fantastic selection of beers for take home or enjoying there. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me great recommendations every time I went. They also have kegs for purchase! One of the bartenders told me they have the largest selection of craft beer in Seattle and I think I believe him!
Was really enjoying Beer Junction becoming one of my staple destinations in West Seattle. Then as the weather warmed up and I began walking with my dog along California Ave., bouncing in and out of places, I was disappointed to find that Beer Junction does not allow dogs. Take note, Beer Junction: People in Seattle walk around with their dogs and drink beer. It’s what they do. I wouldn’t actually be as peeved as I am if the employee informing me of such rule hadn’t been so rude and attacking about it.
If youre looking for the next great craft brew, or something similar to the seasonal beer you love that just ran out, this is a great place to come. They have a great selection of beer, allow and encourage dogs, have lots of games to play, friendly/helpful staff, and some great events. Definitely a local hotspot that if youre in the area, and like a good brew, you should definitely come check out.
Huge selection and quick staff. I love coming here for the root beer. Root beer is my life blood!
One of the best beer stores in Seattle. There’s a complete lack of atmosphere, it’s basically a big room of refrigerators that also has taps and some tables, but the beer selection is so great you can’t not stay for a beer. It’s a small space with limited seating though so it gets pretty packed in there.
Awesome bottle selection. Very good tap selection. Cozy space, but well worth a stop.
Fabulous choice of great beers to go, and dozens of beers to try on draft. Great atmosphere, byo food. A West Seattle favorite.
Love the Beer Junction! It has come a long way since its original location. A bottle shop & tap room with a great & diverse beer selection. Drinking bottles on site that were purchase on site does have a corkage fee though. Still a great place!
This is an absolute must-visit for any specialty beer lover. Not just the best in the city, but one of the best in the country. Beer & beer travel is my life and these guys do it better than almost anyone anywhere. Super knowledgeable staff but theyre also very helpful, not in your face about it. Go & nerd out over a pint or 2.
My buddy lives close by so we stopped in to check it out. Cool cozy atmosphere with sit down bar where you can stop by for a beer or test a flight. In the back they have a section of coolers all labeled by style with a big selection of each variety including the more niche brews. Most were individually priced so you can mix and match. Wouldve given 5 stars but I didnt sit down at the bar to try what they had on tap. Overall, cool place that is definitely worth the visit if youre in the area.
The Beer Junction is the best place in town for craft beer. Dozens of taps, hundreds or thousands of cans and bottles from all over the world. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Its a great place to go with friends or meet new ones.
Wife and I tried to get some beer. I guess the guys here are too busy bragging about the new brewery t hey are opening and how cool they are.Other friends tried to ask about beers and the bartender was more interested in some girl. Avoid Beer Star is better.
Awesome place to stop for beer! They carry over 1500+ beers from all over the country, categorized by flavor, type, and style. The tap beers average around $6-7 when individual bottles and cans are cheaper, depending. If youre looking to explore your beer palate, The Beer Junction comes highly recommended!
If you want the best craft beer at the Junction then go to the Beer Junction! No joke, best selection. Snag a pint of unique draft and bring some bottles home from the extensive bottle cooler. This might actually be the best curated bottle selection in Seattle, dont tell the rest of Seattle.
Does it get any better than the Beer Junction?! Awesome selection of a wide variety of IPAs and everything else, oodles of places to sit and a zillion bottles and cans (clap your hands!) to pick from. Love it!
The people who work here are rude and smug beer lords. They know more about beer than you currently know. They know five times more than you will someday end up knowing about beer, and when you order a pint they will fill your glass with their judgement and superiority. Your beer will be tainted with their disapproval. If you go off tap, and buy a cheaper beer from the cooler and decide to drink it with your friends, they will not tell you that you will be charged extra for opening that beer. Id say you got a 10% chance of talking to somebody nice, and a 60% change of paying too much for whatever you are drinking. In addition to this I find the hours are inconvenient and catered to a very specific crowd. Not my crowd. Also, the lighting is way too bright, youll feel like you are drinking in a grocery store. Also its loud, and with a lot of TVs, you are not meant to speak to anybody in this bar. I wish this place was bought by Chuck’s, they have this formula figured out much better and they do it with a neighborly smile. If you are still reading, keep in mind that I still go here twice a week because its the best in West Seattle.
To be honest. I dont even think this place deserves a level of 1 star as it was the worst service I have ever experienced. The way they made me feel was extremely shaming. For example, when I ordered my drink I apologized for trying two different types of beers as I know as a server, the level of annoyance is high. However he rolled his eyes and made me feel invalidated and expressed his feelings of feeling of being annoyed. Following this event, there was an expo dry erase marker seating at my table near the window. I took it upon myself to write an encouraging message on the window and he quickly ran up to me and laughed at my encouraging message and asked me to never write on his window. He shook his head in one of the most condescending manners Ive ever felt. The level of shame and embarrassment I felt is a way Ive never felt before. The consistency of this negative attitude was relevant among all staff. Please do not support this establishment as they do not provide an environment that is encouraging to all walks of life.
Great place for lovers of craft beer. Been going there for years
Despite the fierce competition here in West Seattle, the Beer Junction stands out as our favorite. At any given time there are 16-20 unique beers on tap - the stuff you wont usually find anywhere else. If youre looking for something unique in a beer, Morgans advice (and that of the other staff members) have never failed me.The ambiance is not like that of a typical bar, and I like it. You can hear music, but its not so loud that it drowns out conversation. It feels cleaner, brighter, and more fun than your traditional dimly-lit hookup joint. The staff is the best. We were new in town about a year ago, and they became some of our first friends here.If you like beer, theres no reason not to come here - regularly.
Grab a pint and shop for beer! Coolers are stocked by style and constantly updated. The tap list has several of every possible style. This place is world class awesome. If you do not find a beer you like then you probably dont like beer.
This place RULES! Amazing sampling of PNW beer. 5 fridges of IPAs last time I checked. Space to grab something on tap and sit down as well. If you’re a beer drinker in town this is an absolute must. Head over, mix and match as many beers as you want and have an excellent night! The prices on the craft brew cans and bottles are ridiculously fair too.Just go
Great beer selection on both tap and on coolers to take home. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They host a lot of great beer events.
This store has a great selection of ciders and beer-GF and regular. It is always nice to come in and grab a few bottles to take home, but you can also have them open a bottle or pour you something on tap and drink on store if you would like to mingle. It is close to many great restaurants and we have been known to stop in after a meal out, Sunday market, or even get off the bus to pop in for a quick grab before heading home.
The selection changes often enough that you cant have a regular here. Great organization, plenty of choices, and reasonable prices. Definitely worth multiple visits. The beer cooler adds another reason to stop and buy some to go.
I really enjoy the beer junction, they have a friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, minimal number of TV screens, and a great bottle selection. However, over the last half dozen visits I have barely been able to get a non hazy IPA (personal preference) and it seems like most pints are $6.50+tax and tip. At that price point one is looking at around $8 a pint. As such, I will be taking a break and hopefully, coming back in the future.
The beer junction is the first bottle shop I have ever been to. Great selection and awesome tap list. If you find yourself in Seattle and dont visit, you missed the best part. Beer geek heaven.
Best selection of beer Ive maybe ever seen in one place. You can find almost anything here it seems. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Want beer? This is the place! We were having our grand opening for our new community and needed beer in a hurry. We have three kegerators each with a double tap. (Yes, pretty sweet set up!) We went to Beer Junction and they crushed it! Tons of selection, took no time at all and we got great beer for our grand opening. They rocked it!
Like everyone else has said, great beer selection, tap and bottle. Knowledgeable staff. Get local food delivered while you work on that tasting tray. Sometimes hard to find a seat, but worth a visit.
Fantastic selection of beers, ciders, meads, you name it. Knowledgeable staff, too!
Massive selection both on tap and bottles/cans. Helpful and friendly beertenders. Love grabbing some food down the street or having it delivered and kicking back with some friends to try a bunch of new and creative beers.
The lighting is odd for a place to sit and enjoy beer... and gives you a strange grocery store feeling. However the ginger beers I had were delicious
Phenomenal selection of all types of beers, including my favorite, Belgian and German wheat beers.
West Seattles own little bottle shop isnt so little! Packed with great labels, names and diverse selection. You can grab and go, or sit at the bar and slow sip a brew!
Easily one of the best beer stores in Seattle. Especially a gem for West Seattle peeps. I would visit this place a lot more if I lived closer.
This is THE place to get beer! Vast selection, very friendly & knowledgeable staff, plus over 30 beers on tap every day. The bar area is typically found with several people engaged in quality conversation.
Great bottle/can beer selection to take home, wide selection of taps including ciders and wine from all over the world (but mostly NW). Just a few tables and seats at the bar, with sports on some large screen TVs. Take out food available from several local restaurants.
Staffing and service was super awesome as was the amount of beer that they have here.
I live nearby. Great place. Great people, knowledgeable beer tenders and staff, large number of taps and good, always changing mix of new and favorites. Love that they keep improving - the latest: even more seating and new electronic tap lists.
