Ive taken my vehicles to Group2 for years. They are the best by far and I will continue to do so. You can trust this team with having an interest in your car which relates to having an interest in you. Its like... Sure, I can give you what you want, but Id rather give you what you need. I really think youll be happier with the results later.

Took my Aston Martin in for a clutch replacement, Group 2 did exceptional work and completed it very quickly. Friendly staff called me along the way with progress updates and now the car is better than new. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the folks at group 2, I found them through the Avants car club where they were highly recommended. I brought my M2 with a freshly installed set of Ohlins R&T coilovers in for an alignment and they were very courteous and kind throughout the experience. It was clear this was a group of enthusiasts looking to make my car what I wanted compared to just a service they sell. My alignment is exactly what I was looking for, for aggressive street driving but not track oriented (for now). Lots of great eye candy out front (get ready for some beautiful cars going down there..) and I had some fun european auto conversations to boot. It was nice everyone was masked, the front door was open to get good airflow, and the team was respectful. Ill certainly be back to visit the group 2 motorsports crew down here again, highly recommend.

Came to G2 Motorsports twice now and had an excellent experience both times. My first visit was a last minute, next day request to mount, balance, and align 4 snow tires for the season. Dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. My second visit was for a regular fluids change for oil, brakes, and coolant. During this service, they noticed that my car wasnt building boost as much as it should and reached out to me to have the car for an extra day to diagnose. They found a few leaks (charge pipe attachment was no longer connected and MAF sensor bolt was backing out). They fixed this and returned the car to me. Overall, a great shop and would recommend them!

I had Group2 do a once over and PPI for a vintage Porsche Cayman. I was quite happy w their service, knowledge and the speed at which the inspection was completed. Additionally they provided a detailed email/PDF readout w pictures of all the issues to address. Def would use them again for other work on my Porsche.

Group 2 Motorsports is an amazing place for car talk, buy, sell or repairs. John, Melissa and entire team are extremely knowledgeable, passionate and terrific people to get to know. Service of most foreign cars is their specialty. Often they host or organize events such as British Invasion where most of these images were taken.

Have had nothing but stellar service at Group 2. They are always so friendly, explain things well to someone who has no knowledge on cars. I have never felt jipped of my $$$ and have often been pleasantly surprised when i see the total bill.

As a believer in you get what you pay for that holds with Group 2. There are less expensive but these guys are on their game.

John, Matt, Sean, Jerry, and the G2 team have taken great care of my 1958 Fiat 1200 convertible. We are methodically working through a number of mechanical issues on my old Italian job and it runs better and sounds better each time we visit Group 2. I highly recommend them for anybody with a classic European car.

My 1993 Porsche 968 Turbo RS Tribute car is highly modified with racing parts. Group 2 Motorsport is a very competent repair and restoration shop with extensive racing and fabrication capabilities. I am impressed by their meticulous work. I like working with John, the owner; he is caring and happy to listen and assist in making any projects come to reality. Also thank you to Melissa and Sean.

Cant say enough good things about this shop. First off, they are consummate professionals, to the point where basic maintenance might seem like an insult, but theyre just as happy to do an oil change as they are to build a race car from the ground up.I recently took my car in for service and a week after I picked it up has some trouble in an area they had worked on. I took the car back and they found the problem, which had nothing to do with their work, but they understood that it would be hard to explain to me that what broke had nothing to do with their work. With zero promoting they did the major repair gratis and even apologized for the headache.This is the place you want to work with.

Fantastic shop, super communicative and respectful staff, and plenty of eye candy parked outside. They caught an out-of-round tire for me during a balancing service for new tires, and allowed me to ship the replacement to them directly. If you come here once youll probably just end up coming here for everything, its a great balance of pricing and quality.

Brought my new car to have winter tires put on. The quality was exactly what I was looking for. Wonderfully clean shop area they are happy to show you, unique vibe with all of the awesome European cars around, and a feel that job I was looking to get done would be taken care of with attention to detail. They delivered across the board. It can come off as a super high end European auto only shop, but it’s not! They have expertise there for sure, but will take care of almost any car for you. Whole crew was very pleasant and John & Melissa are fantastic. Very highly recommend.

I feared the timing chain tensioner was failing which would be ridiculously expensive to repair. Group 2 figured out that it was just a failing catalytic converter which sounded all too similar to a failing chain tensioner and saved me just in time for Christmas! John, the owner, was generous enough to let me use one of his cars while the car was being checked up on and could not have been more helpful throughout the entire process. Group 2 is the best in the business!

I brought my 1978 Monte Carlo here. The owner told me they mostly work on European cars but I asked him if he knew a better shop for American classic cars and he said no we can take it. I had them work on my steering column it was loose they did tighten because it was apparently assembled wrong by previous owner. When I got my car back a week and a half later the power steering didn’t work so It was extremely hard to turn the wheel. I told them and the mechanic looked at it and told me some info to try and fix it. They wouldn’t fix anything else because they said they were booked but why would they take my car in the first place if they could only fix one issue( which ended up worse then when I dropped it off) I just think it was horrible service to give me my car back without the power steering working them say we’re booked. I ended up bringing it to pepboys on Elliot and they figured out the issue and did a much better job.

Ive had these guys work on my E60 M5 quite a few times, and every time I experienced world-class service befitting a world-class shop. The techs know what they are doing, and the quality of work is top notch. Ive had my car in for a variety of things from simple work like doing lowering springs to major maintenance such as rod bearings, and left impressed every time. I cant recommend these guys enough, 10/10.

Charged me over $300 for a vehicle inspection, and did not do a satisfactory job. Would not recommend due to its inflated prices.

The best machanics around

I took my Range Rover in to have snow tires put on for winter. I also asked them to chase down an oil and coolant leak. They solved both problems and although the job was more involved than expected at first, Ian kept me updated well along the way and they seemed conscientious and knowledgeable. I typically do all my own work on my vehicles and Im pretty picky about who touches them, but I felt like I was in great hands here and I have a couple of friends who swear by them as well. Very satisfied!

Brought my Audi Q5 here to see if they could fix a tire that was pretty much unfixable. G2 Motorsports said they would give it a shot, where no one else would even try. But alas, the tire was still not fixable. I was going on a trip within four days, so I purchased some new all-season tires from Tire Rack and had them delivered to G2. G2 put them on the day after they got delivered, in time for me to go on my trip. My impression of G2 Motorsports is that they are very professional, very courteous and also important to me is that they have great communication. They were very accommodating on such short notice to get those tires on before my trip, and the price for installation was very reasonable. I only met Ian, but many thanks to Ian for his positive attitude and to the rest of the G2 gang for getting the car taken care of so quickly.

Great shop with super knowledgable techs and tons of experience with rare European cars. They do high end work at reasonable prices. Also, its fun to hang around Group 2. They do shows, car culture events, and more.

Came here for 2nd year service on my 718 Cayman. They did a great job and didnt rush and took their time which I appreciate. And they charged less than half what Porsche Bellevue quoted for the same service.

I realized my review was lacking any real information so I have edited it to go into a bit more detail. I live in Vancouver Canada and found the best price for Michelin Pilot Super Sports at Tire Rack. The recommended installer in Vancouver was not a place I wanted to take my car.There weremany shops around Seattle but most were the Goodyear or other regular tire shops. I drive a mint 2002 BMW M3 and extremely picky on where I take it for any type of service. When I saw the G2M website I knew I would be happy with the install. I ordered tires from tire rack and had them delivered to Group 2. Set up an appointment to have them installed. Was out in about an hour. The entire process could not be easier. Great guys, clean shop. Highly recommend this business.

Track-tested repair!Excellent service from the very first call with Matt to inquire about a tricky repair that failed at other shops. My E36 M3 track car had a small leak under the tstat cover due to etching around the head mating surface. Matt took me through a repair strategy that they were confident would work, and it did! The previous repairs from two other shops only held for a day in moderate weather. The repair from G2 is still good after two full, hard-running days in sunny, hot weather. Appreciate the follow-up from John on my overall experience.

Group 2 worked on my 2015 M4. The owner, front desk, and mechanic were passionate, communicative, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Simply put, an engaging and enjoyable experience. I recommend Group 2 for the general or specialized repair and service of your vehicle.

Large bays, super clean, high-end tools, and a ton of a really unique/awesome cars here.I took my 335i here and they did some PM work. Ill admit, I was probably an annoying customer with all my questions, but Matt was a really cool guy and everyone here is very knowledgeable.The owner, John, goes WAY out of his way for his customers. Corrected an alignment that Point S auto just couldnt resolve after they themselves messed up.Very honest in their billing, even at the end when I was more than OK with the price, they noticed they overcharged by accident and corrected it.Good place.

Group 2 was recommended to me after I had a horrible experience with another Seattle mechanic. They have been wonderful and given my vintage BMW the love and attention it needed. I have had a manual transmission swap and all my regular maintenance performed by the shop and I highly recommend them.

Always a please dealing with John and the team at Group2. Had the master cylinder go out on my 73 Alfa Spider, they were totally booked two weeks out, but managed to squeeze me in and get everything working perfectly a day later. Thanks guys!

Nine years ago my son and I brought in 1989 BMW 325I, top-end engine rebuild, radiator, all new brakes, quality work that lasts (we still have the car and drive it regularly). Three years ago I brought in a new project, 1988 M3 with an unknown maintenance history. John and the team at Group 2 put the M3 into excellent running condition, and I enjoy the M3 weekly. Quality work, great people, and a commitment to excellence.

First time customer. Quality from first phone contact through post work follow through. They treat each customer as a client of long standing. Each task is explained, time frame and cost. I was there to have a set of winter tires put on a s3. Not only did they do the work, but noted a pothole ding in one of the rims, allowed a video, noted where it was mounted (explained consequences) and noted where summer tires were mounted so they could be properly remounted come spring. All for less than any other tire rack installer in my area. If you drive a performance vehicle and are looking for exceptional mechanics, you owe yourself the time to check Group 2 Motorsports out.

I’ve had my 2017 VW Golf R engine oil & filter, winter/summer tire swap done here 3-4x and have been very happy with their work. It can be tricky balancing wheels properly, and they have done it right every time. I also toured their workshop. As a professional career mechanic myself it looks good to me.

Met the owner John at a lapping day at Pacific Raceway last summer. I had gotten a flat tire on the track and didnt have a spare that day.Johns crew was kind enough to help me remove the tire, throw my tire into one of their cars, and Johns girlfriend drove me and my tire to a tire shop a few miles away. Waited for about an hour with me while the tire shop repaired my flat, and then brought me back to the track!!!Although my day was done by that time, i was able to make my way home without any issues. I am so thankful for how truly amazing these folks at Group2 are.Over the last year, Ive chatted with John about cars and projects and he is always very helpful, providing his feedback/insight on things I was looking to do. Although I havent actually been a customer of them yet (I live north of the border so its not too realistic), if I ever have anything that needs work while in the states, there is no question that Ill be giving John a call.When looking for a shop to work on our cars, we all want a shop we can trust. And with genuinely great people like John at G2, there is no question they are trustworthy.

My Alfa Romeo 164S had a difficult to diagnose issue because none of the symptoms were showing up after I had towed it to the shop after it wouldnt start. Group 2 was able to find the failing fuel pressure regulator and now my car runs better than ever!

I really wanted to love Group 2, but unfortunately I found myself being yelled at over the phone by the owner because I complained about the final bill being more than 2x the original estimate. He told me to come get my car on a Friday evening half-way through a repair. He also told me I am no longer welcome at his shop because he has a six-month wait and he doesnt need nickel-and-dimers like me. For the record, I paid $1,750 for a radiator repair against a not-to-exceed $1,000 estimate. This a discount from $2,100 they originally billed me, which is twice the original estimate. A phone call to ask for authorization ahead of time vs. yelling at customer after-the-fact would have been nice. This was for a Ferrari 456. Group 2s bill rate is $145 + tax + mandatory shop supplies.Update on 17-Oct-2017Adding pictures showing leaking radiator only two weeks after the repair. $1,750 down the drain + offensive comments by the owner. I wonder how Group 2 can stay in business with this attitude.

I’ve been working with Group 2 on a variety of project cars and daily drivers for over 10 years. They’ve always treated me fairly, and recently undertook a full axle replacement on my Ford Raptor which required sourcing a hard-to-find used housing. Highly recommend them for anything from tire mounting and balancing to complex projects, track cars, you name it.

These guys have taken care of my🇺🇸 97 Dodge Viper 🐍 GTS 🇺🇸for the last couple years. Wouldnt trust anyone else with it. They do routine maintenance, like spark plug/fluid changes and wheel alignment, and more complicated jobs like taking engines apart to replace gaskets. And fun stuff too like installing suspension upgrades. All of which they did to the 🐍 The typical car youll see there is of the European variety, but they work on everything AFAIK. Super nice people, very responsive, and a great location. They have a nice, big, flat parking lot, so its convenient if you have a really low car or have to get it towed in. Thanks again guys and the 🐍 is ready for summer!! Woohoo

I found Group 2 looking for someone to work on my Grantourismo. I recently purchased the car and the OEM brakes had an awful “squeal” when driving around town. The team at Group 2 replaced the pads with ECB red pads and new slotted rotors. I couldn’t be happier! The car now is SILENT when braking. Sam, Ben and Danny did a great job diagnosing and fixing My Manual Brake conversion on a GEN 3 1986 Firebird. They swapped out my Welwood Master Cylindar for the correct size, Bleed the system, got the parking brake working, and now the brakes are good as new. A 100 percent improvement by working with what they had already and not requiring me to buy a whole new brake system. Amazing what real mechanics can do, thanks for the help Group 2.
