Always love going here. Great bargains and neat items can be found. Very friendly employees. If I wasnt so far away Id visit more often, but I enjoy spending time there and browsing. I believe it took me a couple hours to do the whole store and outter building. Worth going too!

Its a fun store, but be warned that its effectively a goodwill or thrift store that just has a better gimmick.The highlights werent the merchandise, but the displays of things found in luggage but not for sale. For example there was armor, a 15-ft surfboard, crazy instruments, a taxidermy goose, and a giant Tinkerbell.The funniest thing that was for sale was about a dozen wedding dresses.

A very neat experience. We found some pretty great finds. Its kinda of like a big secondhand store. They offered free lemonade at the front! Super cute! It also has a little coffe/drink/pastry shop inside. They have shows and play games up front that was fun to watch as well. Also have a cute little photo wall with props. You can have a lot of fun here.

It’s like a cleaner Goodwill that doesn’t have a musty smell. I had much higher hopes than what I saw. I traveled to Scottsboro not specifically for this store but it was one of the big highlights in coming here. I came, I saw and I left empty handed. To be honest a lot of the merchandise was overpriced. I did enjoy the free apple cider though.

My thoughts only so,,,the mens stuff should be in the main building. Now in other out building. Spread onto 2 floors. It is a long route from Mens to roll back to main building, go in side entrance, roll to far right side, roll up steep wheelchair incline to get to bathroom next to electronics. All else fine, handicapped parking, entrances, etc. Wife and I both found treasures we did not expect. Thanks Again

Average mix of items. Nothing in particular was a spectacular deal, but if you are in the area and like thrifting it is a cool place to stop. The interesting items on the wall were fun to look at.

Great experience with Mrs. Pat Gray in fine jewelry. She is a very kind employee and was extremely patient while while I was trying to select a new diamond band. Wish all retail experiences could be this easy and pleasant. Mrs. Gray is both genuine and courteous. She makes shopping the fine jewelry section at UBC a real pleasure. 😊

Awesome idea! Theyve been in business for 51 years and counting. I liked that they try to bring the excitement to their customers by having unzipping ceremonies throughout the day, where new suitcases and their contents were unveiled. Theres truly something for everyone - books, nooks, clothes, throws, jewels, and tools. The mens and womens sections house 2 different warehouses. Theres also a food court, several resting areas, restrooms, and a last chance room with extra exceptional deals! For example, I bought a$250 Vince Camuto bag for 10 bucks and moissanite diamond earrings for $3.59. These guys are definitely prepared. Theres even RV parking. My rating is about 4.5 stars, only because some items are actually wholesale that you could find at Ross or TJMaxx. Overall, a fun adventure!

Very nice parking area. Huge store, with 2 levels. Very nicely done and enjoyed the rocking chairs out front. They have anything you possibly could imagine. Jewelry, sunglasses, purses, clothing, home goods, backpacks, shoes, etc. Unique for sure. Prices vary depending upon your items value.

I used to visit when I was young and let me just say that they have really expanded! They even have CUPS espresso shop with really great coffee and even nicer employees. Anna G and her co-workers were all so kind. I also really appreciated all the help from the electronics staff. The guys over there are very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help with everything from questions to the trying of tablet cases to ensure a proper fit for my tablet. This is the ONLY place to go for electronics! The selection of clothes and shoes is also out of this world!

Save yourself a trip and go to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army Thrift Store. You will find a better selection and better prices elsewhere. Total tourist trap. For a place that claims to sell unclaimed baggage, it is strange that they only had 1 suitcase for sale in used condition at full retail price. Lots of used clothes.

Ive been here a few times. Its kind of like going on a treasure hunt. Sometimes you find it, sometimes you dont. Last time there I got lucky. It helps to have an idea what youre looking for and how much youre saving. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. Decent coffee shop too.

This rating is for the online store, as I have never visited the brick and mortar store. Great online selection. The online site is user friendly and very intuitive. Easy and efficient searching for sizes, brands, specific items. Just received my first order in a timely manner. Everything smelled fresh, was nicely packaged, and in as expected shape. I have already placed my second online order! I noticed that several of the in person reviews mentioned not bargain prices. I did look up prices for both orders, and only found 1 shirt cheaper on Amazon (only 1 left in stock in selected size), with several other online retailers selling it at a higher price. So, at least for the online store, pricing is very reasonable. Shipping is free on orders over $75. All in all, highly recommend!

My brother, sister and I stopped by on our family road trip. The store is very neat, lots of great bargains but the best part are the the staff. EVERYONE was amazingly professional and friendly, especially Pat! Keep up the good work. We live in Colorado, but we’ve already decided when we come back to Alabama we will stop by.

Don’t bother unless you’re prepared to pay actual retail price. They had a designer sweater dress priced at $800. No bargains here when they can just look up the actual costs and use that. It used to be a great place for amazing reasonably priced items until Oprah ruined it with all the free press. After her show brought national attention they drastically upped their prices.

Unclaimed Baggage is a must-stop when youre in the area. Inventory constantly changes so you never know what you will find.I go primarily for cameras and electronics. Always good prices.

Unclaimed baggage is an interesting store to say the least. It’s always a pleasant surprise to find a good deal on something you wanted wether it’s sunglasses or shoes. I wouldn’t recommend buying some of their items based on prices not being much lower than what they are new but if you go in with the right expectations you can have a good time shopping here.

My advice is simple: something catch your eye? Buy it on sight; it wont be there when you come back. This business buys lost luggage by the truck-load and sells it retail. There is no fixed inventory which means every visit is to a new store. It also explains my shopping rule earlier.SWMBO understands this rule quite well. Apparently she is passing that lore on to the Urchin most earnestly. Help, Im outnumbered.

The idea is cool but I think there are more than unclaimed luggage and stuff in the store. When you see 3 or 4 items same brand and same color it is nightly unlikely this was from lost luggage. We drove 27 miles and pretty much waste of time

What a unique experience. If you like used things and digging through other peoples clothes, this is heaven. There is an odd absence of actual baggage, like they toss the luggage and sell the stuff. My only complaint was the jewelry. Obviously it used to belong to someone and has been worn, but a lot of it was dirty/tarnished. With all the people working there and the money 🤑 they are clearly making, an ultrasonic cleaner and a toothbrush would go a long way to sell more jewelry.

We spent maybe a hour and a half here. I wasn’t that impressed by the prices of things. It’s a cool concept though. All this stuff that went unclaimed. It’s almost hard to believe. They do their research and price items accordingly. You can save some money on high end products and brands. But my wife and I aren’t huge spenders for things. We love thrifting but this definitely isn’t a thrift store experience. If you’re into high end fashion, electronics, and jewelry then this is a great place. My wife and I each got a pair of beats by Dre studio 3’s for $99 each. Trying to find them used you’ll pay around $120-$220. So we were happy with that because we’ve been wanting a pair of over the ear beats for years now just never wanted to spend $300 on a pair. You can also find some good deals on shoes that are in great condition. Unfortunately their size 12 selection was very small so I didn’t find anything I wanted. We actually checked out the electronics and jewelry last. Up until then we weren’t really impressed. The jewelry you can get some great deals on expensive pieces and same for electronics. Overall I’m glad we went but it’s definitely not a place I’ll be looking to go to again anytime soon. Fun concept and still is crazy to believe so many people don’t claim their bags knowing what they had to lose.

I am very, very impressed with this place. There is something for everyone! I found so many good shirts, dresses, pants and shoes, as well as a ring and a necklace for less than I would have paid anywhere else. Im so glad Unclaimed Baggage is helping people in need. As someone who has traveled a lot, I am very happy that the lost luggage gets brought here and given to other people for them to love! Two store attendants, Carol who ran the front desk and Haylea who helped in the dressing room were a big help. They were so kind to me and asked me how they could help whenever they saw me! I would highly recommend visiting this store. :)

I mean, we all like to look through peoples things. It just felt like a cool scavenger hunt through the store. I had no idea what I was going to buy, and came in with no expectations. I had a fun experience looking through the huge assortment of things, and discovered that the store was never ending. The place is huge. I think it was worth visiting at least once.

Lots of stuff, fairly organized (though some of the kids clothes seemed a bit more willy nilly when it came to sizes), pretty good prices. All sorts of clothes and shoes and laptops and earphones and cases and even some video game systems. Its amazing what people leave at the airport.Theres also a little cafe in the building.

The 0nline store is unbelievable, with prices so low for new items with tags, you cant quit shopping. We will soon be forced to built new closets to hold all the bargains. You have to look often to catch the best deals, what fun.

Got some fantastic deals on luxury items. Pat in the jewelry department was so helpful. Even gave us directions out of town (came to Scottsboro from Houston strictly for the store.)A lot items online aren’t available in person so if you see something you like, just buy it and get it shipped.Watched a couple in front of me vacuum up 30 watches. Retail is really fun even if you just watch it from afar.

Worth a stop if youre in the area. Neither my friend or I found anything to buy but it was a cool place to walk around in. We did get a snack and coffee in the Cafe area and that was really good!! The employee working that day was very sweet and polite!

I purchased a pair of Bose NC 700 headphones, silver color, in July 2021. They came in the original case with accessories, and look brand new. So far, they are functioning like new. Im glad I jumped on them (purchased) when I did.

Definitely worth visiting here as not all items in store are listed on their website. Not everything here will have a good price for everyone, but there is such a large quantity of things that youre bound to find something at a price youll agree with.

Found some really good deals such as leather jacket for $36.00, brand new 6 qt InstaPot for $35.00 (Amazon $90.00). Best experience was in the Jewelry Dept. with Pat Gray! She was knowledgeable, patient, fun and provided incredible customer service! As others have noted, not everything is a great deal but you can find some if you look.

My husband and I were visiting the area for work, and since he was last here (roughly 5 years ago), the only thing that has really changed is the prices on the clothes from the sound of it. He would brag about $1 tees. But we went in briefly yesterday and I didnt see that, but $8 tees. But the stores were clean & organized. I will probably go really check it out today, as the last trip was rushed. I did see quite a few items with the tags on, though.

Great service from Caden J. We just wish he would have suggested that we try out the headphones before purchasing them. We forgot to do that in our excitement of finding such a great deal. Got home to NC and found out that they did not work. Bummer. However, we called and Kristen helped us and told us to mail them back within the 14 day period and they would give us a refund. Was really intrigued by the concept, but after looking at their online prices it is clear they are not reducing the price enough for items they are getting donated to them. Disappointing. My wife and I were planning on stopping by the store on our next trip, but will not be wasting our time now.

I have bought many items from this company. Mostly clothes that were new.And been completely happy every time.It is easy for me as I have a relative who lives in the area and I stop every time I visit.With that all said, I recently bought an MacBook Pro from them along with another piece of electronics totaling well over a grand.Though the computer works great, no one there knows how to change the ownership of the machine and it says it still belongs to UBC with the serial number.This MacBook is still covered by Apple warranty but it would not be recognized as MY Macbook as the serial number still is showing UBC as the owner and no one at Unclaimed knows how to change that.So. in closing, I will continue to shop for small items and such which they excel at but will never make a large purchase in electronics there again.Beware if you are looking at or have bought a computer from them as it is still theirs in the MacBook serial number.Now I have to either sell this one or try and deal with Apple on it but as you may know, if it isnt registered to you Apple will not help.It will take UBC to make this change.Good luck.

Very organized, There was a lot of merchandise and I scored a great deal on a backpack for traveling.

Kinda a tourist trap to be honest. I had a coworker who used to live in this town and told me all about it and their great prices and such and encouraged me to go, but that was 10 years ago. When I went a lot of things were selling for near full retail and occasionally even over (They had a last gen Xbox One S selling for 100% retail of the new Xbox Series S). You might get lucky and find something of value cheap, but only if you happen to know exactly what you are looking at and how much it normally costs. I got a switch pro controller for 65% off but that is about the only good deal I could remotely find. Overall The prices werent that great. I had a much better time and got better deals at the Goodwill down the street.

Would love if the items were actually offered at the discounts your site claims but out of 5 I was thinking of only 2 were actually lower than the normal price, 2 were claimed to be discounted but actually no where near your claimed value and one of the dresses was actually cheaper brand new somewhere else. Take your time, look it up before buying the great deal

Unfortunately, did not live up to the hype. No deals to be found in used electronics. However, great selection on mens designer coats. Found a gently used $300 Hugo Boss overcoat for $75.

Found some good deals, just have to pay attention to the item and price.

We visited Unclaimed Baggage Center today and not only did we find some great clothes and even a piece for our GoPro, but the service from the employees was incredible. Mary S. at the jewelry counter took time to chat with us about the store’s history and process and showed us some incredible pieces in the jewelry cabinet. Visited spring 2021This place is worth visiting once if youre in the area. It may seem like a destination that you can plan a day trip around, but its really just a huge pawn shop. They have have TONS of clothing, mostly things you dont want. Theres likely deals to be had if youre willing to spend the time looking for it.They also have lots of electronics, sporting goods, and other pawn shop type items that may be good deal. Would probably not go again.

The place mainly sells clothes, everything else is limited and I found the prices pretty high for for what is essentially a thrift shop. I was hoping to find more stuff at a place where all the airlines dump their unclaimed luggage.

We purchased a brand new suitcase and a beautiful ruby and diamond ring in a white 14k gold setting. The ring is stunning, and Mary S., our salesperson, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. What a fun visit!

I bought a pair of Bose headphones online for $70.00 the thing retail for $300.00. The description of the headphones said they showed sign of wear and with the heavy discount I was not sure how bad they would be because the pictures made it a little hard to tell. However I can say that I since received them and they basically look brand new they even came with what appears to be the original case. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Kinda over priced on A lot of items especially electronics jewelry. A stainless steel ring with a big fake piece of purple glass $50.00 bucks Amazon $18.00. But I suggest people to there research new prices before they spend.

Nice day trip. I would be disappointed if I had to drive more than 3 hours.Hit and miss deals. Some things are waaaaay overpriced to be used merchandise. Nice little eatery inside. Not for a full meal but to hold you over until mealtime. Very clean and overall friendly staff.

This is a must- see, must-do stop if you are in the Fort Payne/Scottsboro, Alabama area! After arriving, I met Ms. Jean who has been with the company over 28 years, and told me all about UBC. I enjoyed hearing all about this. Ms. Jean you are a sweetheart! I was overwhelmed with all the merchandise they have to offer and planning on a second trip again.

Def fun, but most of the small items are prices as if they are new. Still fun, but keep expectations low.

I hate to say it but I had such high hopes for this place! Nothing like it was advertised. Wasted my Memorial Day driving there from Georgia! My husband bought a pair of headphones... sunglasses were ok but priced higher than they should have been. Searched this place for 3.5 hrs trying to find something worth buying... and I usually have zero problems with that task. I bought a few baby shirts for my great niece... that was it! My advice... don’t go just look online and if they have something you ant buy it but don’t waste your time going to this place!

This place used to be amazing. Could explore for hours and still never get tired of all the oddities. They used to sell their goods at super low bulk prices but now they match them with retail prices. They lost their selves and fell into corporate ideologies.

This place was okay. Didnt live up to the hype. I am an avid thrifter, so comparing to thrift stores it is very overpriced for most clothing items and shoes. The best deals will be on electronics. One pair of Beats Studio3 is $350 and we got 2 pair for $99 each. They have a main building that has womens clothes, baby clothes, shoes, electronics, then the mens is in a separate building in the parking lot. They have a last chance section that you can dig through things and it was pretty dirty and things just thrown everywhere. Now I will say that staff that we did speak with were very kind. I probably wouldnt go back, but not bad to check out if youre in the area.

This was so disappointing!!! Its more like a resale shop. Way over priced items. Worse than retail. There were several areas marked unclaimed cargo which was code for lots of the same stuff at retail price. The store was packed full of dummies packing their carts with over priced USED clothing. Clearly not experienced shoppers. The handbags, the shoes, the clothing all over priced. The untested iPods and music players with no cords was a real deal...NOT! I scoured the entire store not a deal to be found. If people would stop loading up their carts with these non deals then maybe they would go down and have reasonable prices for the used items they purchased in bulk. I am not penny-pincher either. What I am is a smart shopper and I do my homework before making an impulse buy.

Some days are very busy (weekends), some are quiet. Generally friendly sales help, but theyre not experts in everything. Expect hit-or-miss content, and it varies week to week. There are some excellent deals on odd items, and some good clothing deals on surplus items (unused/unworn); just do not expect everything to be to your liking or discerning specification, because its essentially random.

You never know what you will find here, especially with 7000 new items but out daily. There is a large jewelry counter, sunglasses, a nice selection of books and electronics. There is a much larger selection of women’s clothes than men’s. You have to be patient to sort through the racks but admittedly each area is well organized and separated by category and size.

Proceed with extreme caution! DO NOT BUY Mystery Bags. These are not items from Unclaimed Baggage. They are selling cheap fast fashion items from China. Not even worth $10. Go to the Dollar Store and spend $10 and you will get more from your money. Please be careful. Claimed a item was New with tags but wasn’t, instead it was sent with a thrift store tag. Scam.

If you are looking for used underwear, this is the place for you. Like a big yard sale. Lots of used clothes and lots of junk that should be at the landfill.

Man! I was SUPER excited to visit this place after hearing about through a YouTube video! It was okay. But honestly, it seemed more like a flea market. Some items were priced extremely high for the usage of the item. Example, a pair of Jimmy Choos were priced $170, but the bottom of them had DEFINITELY seen their fair share of usage.
