Well I guess the reviews were correct! This service shop is legit! Knowledgeable and actually listens to their customer. These gentlemen know how an auto service should be run! Just had my first service completed here and very impressed with the whole process! The auto health feature they have is excellent and leaves you fully understanding what is going on with your vehicle. I can tell the other place I was going to for almost 10 years was just a waste of my time and money. Wish I would have come here years ago. Well done Schaumburg AutoMedics! Really exceptional service sent photos and videos on what needed to be done very professional on what I should get done first. Very fast service dropped my car off in the morning and they were done by the end of the day. Been taking my cars here for years. There may be cheaper mechanics out there (there are certainly more expensive ones) but these guys are honest and get the job done right which is far more important. They can email or text you a link to a very thorough report of everything they inspected too. Its a nice value add that costs you no extra.

Theyve been servicing my cars for 27 years. They have never disappointed. Not only is their work excellent, they are highly ethical, knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. They dont recommend work that is not needed and, if you request unnecessary work, they will explain why the work Isnt needed. Then, of course, its your decision, but an informed one.

Smooth service appointment. Applied my Maxcare warranty with no issues. Estimate came in less when additional services were expected to be needed to complete the repair but in the end wasn’t. They could have overcharged me but stayed honest. Suggested additional services; I said “no not this time” and respected that and wasn’t pushy. Will definitely use Automedics for future repairs over the dealer.

Just moved back to town from AZ. I was recommended to this company. I also read the reviews. I chose to call them and get as good of estimates Incould without them really seeing the car. Mike explained all things in detail and his professionalism sold me. I took the car in. They were very thorough on the inspection. Also determined that a brake replacement that a dealership told me needed to be done ASAP was actually still 8 to 12 months out from needing the service. I appreciate the honesty. This is will be the spot I go to for services to my vehicle.

Asked for a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle. Their inspection was thorough. They found one cylinder was weaker than the rest, and double checked their work. So based on their results, I did not buy the vehicle and walked away glad I brought the vehicle here. Also the amount of inspection was less than anticipated. Throughout the process, Steve was patient with both me and the dealership.

I just brought my 2014 Honda CRZ hybrid to them about a noise that I thought may have something to do with my brakes. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. The could have easily taken advantage of me and said I needed all new brakes as I did not know what the noise was. But they didnt. They explained what the noise was. I was impressed by the extensive inspection report with photos. I feel they went above and beyond and I am happy I finally found an honest mechanic shop. Thanks Mike & John.

Brought my 2002 Bonneville here several times with problems. They were always upfront, honest, and very quick with repairs. Not to mention fair prices. My dad and a family friend had always done most of my car work before I moved to the suburbs and this place made me feel like I was still getting the same honest advice. I took my Rx-8 which had a issues with secondary injection pump and etc.The way Scott had worked in the car and explained me everything with regards to the issues. I was told this was a good place to take your car. I had the tow truck tow my wifes car to the shop. There was some dispute on who would pay for the repairs (that they were able to perform, as they told me they were limited and I needed to take it to the dealer) because the insurance company was still investigating. I told the shop I didnt want to wait any longer and that I would pay for the repairs, and deal with my insurance company on my own. When they identified I was an African-American male, they told me the would only accept CASH! I asked them if the insurance was going to pay, would they require cash, and they said no. Just from ME. THIS PLACE IS RACIST!!!!!!The owner is being less then truthful with his response. While I dont doubt that there are dishonest customers in the world, rarely do companies create policies based upon anomalies. In addition, if this was common practice, why isnt it included within their policy, or communicated to customers prior to services rendered? John Jobst, made a decision that he wanted CASH when he identified I was African-American. Also, the reason the policy is not in writing is because he chooses to enforce it based upon race. If it was in writing then he would have to inconvenience and insult whites as well. But due to this being an arbitrary policy he stays in a position in which he can exclusively target people of color.

I heard quite a few good reviews about Schaumburg Automedics so I decided to take my car to them for inspection. It is a 2006 and so I was worried that there would be mega problems because when I drove it, it felt different than usual. As it turned out, they sent me pictures of the underneath of my car showing me all the rust and damage in the brake area. When I talked to them about what needed to be done, they were very patient with me (I know diddely about cars), and they made sure I was understanding it correctly. I was especially happy because they had given me an estimate of 1700.00 for complete new brake and fuel lines, but when I went to pick my car up, it cost 300.00 less. Honest? you bet they are. They also told me that if I bring my car to them for the oil changes, each time they will go over the car to make sure it is running properly. And that is what I need... someone to look out for me! Thank you Schaumburg Automedics! You have a customer for life.

Schaumburg Automedics is wonderful!! I know that they will fix what needs to be fixed on my car and they wont fix what doesnt need to be fixed . You can trust them to take care of your car and do the job right . All the staff is wonderful and they keep you updated on what is going on . It really helped to have a loaner car so that I was not without transportation, too. They are the only place for me !!

Great place to have your repairs done without any worries of being “over charged”. My 90 yr young mother lives nearby and her 15 yr old car developed a hole in the trans fluid pan (rusted thru). She has had bad luck picking repair places that don’t prey on the elderly, so I did some research & came up with Automedics. This was our 1st time there but now I’m confident her car will always be repaired here. Mike, Steve & JJ are easy to work with, great communicators and men of their word!

They know what they are doing, they are fast, and their pricing is more than fair. And in all the times Ive used them, never once has the final price been different from what I was quoted. Actually, there have been a few occasions when the final came in for less!I have recommended these people to everyone I know, and even if you arent located close to them, what youll get in return in terms of reliability will more than offset the distance.

I usually dont write reviews but their service and the TRUTH FULLNESS made me to write one. When ever I take my car for oil change or any filter changes I used to ask my old parts just to make sure they are not putting my old one back. I read lot of reviews that few auto shops does that. So i did the same and asked my old air filters back. He could have given that to me back but what he did is something very different. He politely walked me in to his workshop and showed me what are the old parts which are gonna replaced and where it gonna replace and why we need to replace - Yup all the questions. He packed the old filters in front me and gave it to me back. And the second thing he did is the new filter which is changed is not the exact match for my vehicle so he told he is getting one exact match. He Could have stopped by that, but he did validate the price of the new filter and and confirmed me it is A dollar fifty less. Why should he tell me that ? $1.50 might be small amount but $1.50 is a $1.50. He reduced that amount in my bill. I would have believed even if he said both filters are same price. That act deserves an applause. MANY WORK FOR MONEY AND ONLY FEW WORK FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND SCHAUMBURG AUTOMEDICS IS ONE AMONG THEM. Great Job!!

Finding a place like automedics was such a relief for us. We travel everywhere in our motorhome and use our tow car frequently. How refreshing to have someone’s full attention when speaking to them and they get what you say the first time.He asked that I get a list of the work already performed from the Nissan dealership. I did and emailed it to him. He texted the diagnosis to me. I called him and got an estimate that made sense.My car was ready in a couple of hours and the estimate was $50.00 less than expected.I highly recommend Schaumburg Automedics. 5+ stars!

My tie rod broke on my car as I was parking. I googled which shop had the best reviews around me since I was not anywhere near my usual mechanic. I found Schaumburg Automedics and called. Steve set up my tow with absolutely no work on my end -> The tow showed up and in no time my car was at the shop. A few hours after arriving I received a very detailed inspection list that even included pictures. With that were issues that needed to be addressed and some that you could wait. JJ called me and we talked over the job needing to be done - exhausting all options on priority. We agreed on all the work needing to get done -> he quoted me -> two days later my car was done. They were very patient with me when it came to picking up my car and they were the cleanest front office mechanic shop I’ve ever been in. I would highly recommend to anyone to give JJ and Steve and the entire crew a shot - you won’t be disappointed.Fast forward to 02/02/2021 - Steve is always awesome to work with! Got a fair estimate and they took the time to talk to me about my car and its problems and educate me about them, not just rush me out the door like some places would do. I took the car in this morning and got it back at 4, the same day!
