Was hoping to experience a time warp, but this place is closed. Only 34 stores exist today in 2020, Savannah isnt one of them.

It is very unfortunate! I have lived and shopped at this KMART since 1971. The change is so drastic I wont even try to reference the old days.The only reason I go in there is if a Sears/Craftsman item is online. Frequently I see more police cars there (shop lifters), than shoppers vehicles. What little staff they have are lackadaisical about everything, its as if the shoppers are there for their convenience (just a paycheck). Customer Service is severely lacking as is common courtesy.I like the SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS program, but it very seldom really works. I have points showing, but come to find out there are so many restrictions I dont benefit from earning them.The store is hot in Summer and cold on Winter. The one redeeming factor is you never have to worry about avoiding crowds.....until you get in line to check-out in the one or two lanes they have open.I dont know how it stays in operation.

I usually try to do my best not not to leave negative reviews about places but as a frequent shopper of this place countless times I come in and all the cashiers are always rude they never greet properly nor have any concern for you or another cashier carry on conversations as if youre not standing at the register and then associates that work there you ask them questions or something maybe or any other department question and its almost like they dont know I came in to buy a rope and I asked somebody in the hardware department where was that any send me to the garden center where I walked around for 4 minutes walk past three associates and was never asked if I could be helped its like they go out of their way not to be helpful and I will strongly recommend that people go anywhere else to shop

I dont go to Kmart a lot; its not real close to my home. This weekend I just happened to get curious & went there. I found that the store is closing for good & everything is on sale. The place is a mad house & is in shambles. I bought a mattress, boxspring & vacuum sweeper there yesterday; it wasnt easy. I returned today to buy a recliner chair, area rug & other smaller items. I didnt. Both my visits were miserable; simple words explain---rude, unhelpful, seemingly lazy or unmotivated & countless more. The place is so busy! Is that a reason?!! I could not buy large items with no help!

I went to get a money order and the assistant manager was the one working at the counter. She was so rude. She acted like I was inconveniencing her to get a money order. Like, this is your job. On top of that, she didnt even know how to work the machine to do a money order. How does someone become an assistant manager and not know how to do their job? She had to call someone over the phone to walk her step by step. This was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced at a Kmart. The assistant manager needs to learn how to do her job and start being respectful to her customers.

If i could i would give them no stars because the have the worst employees in there and they have people walking around popping their gum like they are at home and when i was at the layaway center i had to wait almost 10 minutes before someone actually came and i dont see how these people even got a job there because it is 100% ghetto in there and Im surprised they havent closed down yet as i can see business is dead in there!

Was in there tonight with my husbands boss. I do understand that you are going out of business. She was going to buy a washer. Price on tag said one thing and rang up something much higher. It has had the same tag on it for three weeks now. How can it be the wrong tag. She spendt over $2700 tonight. I can definitely see why your going out of business. If I could give zero stars I would. I had to change the rating. Called the store today and explained to the manager what happened. He called me back to let me know that he checked on it. He lowered the price even more. Thank you so much Mr Willie.

Employees do their best to help at the reg. And now i have noticed they are very pleasant. Very much improving!! Still few set backs like bogo does not give it to u so now i have to go back and get it correct but i do see improvements also on the extra care card ask for phone number but then ask for pass code never had one and cant seem to find out did everything i was told so yes upset with that but very happy you have employees that are trying an are nice eas in there today around noon

This is the most unprofessional, ghetto Kmart. NO kind of customer service. When you call there, they answer the phone like they are at the house. They leave customers on hold for very, very long periods of time with out coming back to the line to assist the customer. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I have to agree with most of the negative reviews on here. When I go to this store God is with me. Like one person said, dont come here for furniture that you cant lift. Its like waiting at a docter office for hours before you are helped and sometimes even then no one will help you. Yesterday was a clear example of this it took 30 minutes of me asking employees for help and then I finally got one to got6 a lady to call someone to help me. Then she told me to go where the item was and wait for them there. I waited for about 40 min. Then I went back up front and told the lady to call again and she did. I waited for another 15 min. I just told her neither mind... yall are obviously to busy to help me and I left without the item I wanted.

Very nice store I am from Miami Florida just move to Hinesville Georgia and this store is amazing compared to the stores that are in Miami amazing customer service clean store you can actually find things

Store was very dirty and It was very hard to find things in the store. Really need to clean up the store. Also cashiers should be tested on their cash register knowledge. The cashier I had was not the best.

Cash Regristars always broken on the customers service desk.upgrade your Regristars,their Regristars are old an always calling a technition to fix it.employees are not helpful some are very rude.they need to just closed this kmart.

Not exactly sure why this place is still open. Toy section is a DISASTER zone. Products put on shelfs do not match the price tag on shelf. Employees are incredibly rude and disrespectful. I can deal with the disappointment of my items not being rang up for the price it had on the shelf, but when Im in the toy isle and hear an employee in the would be garden section say very loudly that she wont do a task the manager asked bc shes a c**t, I cant deal with that, I had almost the nerve to track her down and make her appologize to my 7 year old daughter for the language. While checking out the customer service line was wrapped around the building, they had two ladies working behind the desk, a man stood and talked to one of the cashiers for 15 minutes about his moms thanksgiving dinner and the other girl who was working was so deep in the weeds (i felt so bad for her, she was trying her hardest to get stuff done but her partner wouldnt shut up about Turkey and gravy) and a manager had been called for 6 times over a 15 minute period and had never come up to help. Needless to say I left my buggy full of stuff and walked out. I refuse to spend my time (in 2015) standing in line at a place whose systems are dated back to the 80s. It waste my time and everyone elses. Will not return unless its the last place open in the greater north American continent.

What happened to the Sofia Vergara clothing line? Disappointed to see you no longer sell it, good quality for a great price. Thats what brought me to the store.
