Shopping online or on other sites this place has what they advertise and have a great variety to choose from for all budgets and conscious buyers great deals for sure I took the middle ground and am very happy they waited a few minutes right at closing for me to get there took my old washer and loaded up the new one and got home put it right to use with no problems super nice of Mark to help out the tech that is running things while one of other techs is out with covid couldnt of had a better buying experience thx again Ill tell anyone that is looking to try them first before wasting a lot of time or money ;€

I found Coastal Appliances on Facebook and the reviews were great so checked it out. I needed an affordable washer and dryer; brand new was out of my budget. Mike directed me to a whirlpool set that is still washing and drying reliably after 6 months. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. My next appliance need will probably be a fridge and I will stop at Coastal Appliances first

A friend of mine is in the process of moving and was in need of appliances. Other stores had been visited but no assistance was provided. Before leaving I Googled “appliances Savannah, GA” and Coastal Appliances came up. My friend and I figured visiting couldn’t hurt and we were right. Appliances were chosen, great customer service was provided, all answers that needed to be answered were answered and appliances will be delivered soon. This was a great find!!

From refrigerators to washer and dryers.I recently needed a tension pulley arm for my mother-in-laws dryer. I called an asked where the best place to get the part locally. The owner asked what make it was. He said he had one and if Id come by he would give it to me. Great customer service. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

This place is a joke. We purchased a washer dryer set from these jerks. Yes the machines are used but they dont function properly. The washer still had a good amount of water inside and would not fill and wash clothes as it is suppose to. The dryer had all kinds of lint, coins and other junk inside and smelled like it was going to catch fire. When i called to ask if they could come get the items and give me a refund i was told they would fix it or give us a store credit. And because we picked the items up we would have to bring them back. I only had possession of the items for 2 days. I dont want a store credit to buy more junk . I simply want a refund. Do not purchase from this place. The appliances they have are trash.

I really had high hopes for this place. It’s a small business in Savannah. My boyfriend and I went in and picked out our washer and dryer and payed 500 for our Maytags. We brought a trailer and they loaded them up for us. We took them home and set them up. Once we did the washer threw all types of error codes and wouldn’t work. I called the store and they charged me a pickup fee for them to pick up the broken washer. Which I understand, because they have to pay the guys who pick them up.My problem was with how long it took them to return a working washer and how long it took them to even pick up my broken one.It took over 2 weeks to pick up my not working washer. Then longer for them to try to fix it. They had my washer after picking it up over two weeks, almost 3.Then, once they brought the washer back.... it didn’t work AGAIN. So they had to take the washer back.Then once I called they said they would be bringing my washer back on a day and then said that the washer never was loaded on the truck.Honestly the best experience I had was with a man named Mr.David and his partner. They are the ones who would drop off and plug in my washer and dryer in. Really great guys. I told Mr.David that they didn’t have my washer on the truck. He personally called me and went back to Savannah to pickup the washer and dryer and bring it to my house. Him and his partner were honestly wonderful.It’s an overall good business, just a stressful experience but I did ultimately get a working washer and dryer and a good price.

I called, desperate for a washer and dryer. Moving to a new city, young kids, starting a new life. I could not make it in to the shop, so they sent me pics of the available sets. Took payment over the phone. Set up delivery for just 2 days later. Called when they were on their way. I was at work so the property manager gave them keys. They sent a pic after setup was complete. Called back just to let me know they took my packages in off my porch so theyd be safe. Excellent customer service all around, great prices, convenient, military discounts too! Thank you for making my transition smoother!!!

My wife purchased a washer and dryer set from this place and arranged for it to be delivered on our move in date at our new apartment. When the day came it was not delivered. She called that morning to verify and some guy told her it was on the truck and we were the third stop for them. The next day I called to see what the problem was and a worker there told me that it was scheduled for the next week and that the guy did the transaction with my wife is older and doesn’t know what is going on. Why would you have someone who is competent handling transactions and scheduling??? So after getting that information my wife canceled and requested a full refund and they told her all she could get was store credit. BS!!! She disputed the transaction with our bank and filed a complaint with the BBB. Now all of a sudden they are willing to give a refund. It’s funny how they changed up all of a sudden isn’t it?? Stay away from this business!!! Deal with a company that keeps their word and takes care of the customer.

This was my first time purchasing an appliance on my own, and with little funds the man that was working ( I cant remember his name sadly) worked with me and got me an affordable dryer in litteraly 15 mins from the time I walked in. Super friendly and very helpful! Definitely will be back if I need another appliance.

Update: The dryers fuse broke a few months after purchase. Scheduling someone to come out for repairs with Coastal was difficult but there are capable (but expensive) appliance repair businesses all around Savannah to go to!I found Coastal Appliances on Facebook Marketplace and the owner was consistently helpful and straightforward. I told him my budget walking in (including delivery), and we found a washer/dryer set that adequately fit my budget! I came in on a Sunday and delivery was planned for Tuesday. I was impressed since I was in desperate need for a washer/dryer ASAP. Then, they let me know they could deliver a day earlier which was great! I would have preferred the washer and dryer to be well-cleaned before delivery, but during these times I’m deep cleaning anything that’s been touched by lots of people anyway before I use them. Washing and drying a few loads has gone well. I hope nothing breaks once the 60 day warranty is up, but we shall see. I recommend this place to anyone who needs budget appliances.

Got a great deal on a washer and dryer set. Delivered on time. Started having problems with the washer and called to get someone to look at it. Someone came out once to look at it and tightened a bolt and called it a day. Washer messed up again, tried to get someone else out to look at it and they said they’d just replace the washer fully. It’s been over a week and I still haven’t gotten a call or anything about receiving the new washer. Good people, bad business.

Very unreliable!!!! They don’t keep up their word. The guys were supposed to come in and check my washer, on the day of, never showed up. He put down for service at 3:00 pm, Didn’t show up, when called suggestion given is I bring the washer in for servicing. Not going in there. Rather buy a new one.

Brandon was our tech and came out to investigate our issue. Unfortunately it’s cheaper for us to replace our particular set than fix it with the issues it has, but he was very prompt and informative on exactly what parts are needed and even offered suggestions on where to call if we wanted to order the parts directly and fix it ourselves to save a little money. Costal also enforces COVID safety precautions to make sure everyone is safe and healthy when working and doing home visits, we really appreciate Brandon’s help and will definitely be using Costal again for any appliance repair needs.

I called and spoke to the owner before going to the store to purchase a dryer. I asked what the pricing was for the dryers and he stated they start at $165 and go up. We went to the shop the next day to look at dryers. Some of them had prices on them and some did not. We asked how much the dryers were and the man standing there said they start at $200. I told him I called the day before and was told a different price. He said there were a couple that he had that he would sell for $185. I found out later that this was the man I spoke to on the phone and he was the owner! We looked at several dryers and had to ask how much each one was. All of them were very dirty, and some were obviously damaged. I pointed out the damage on one that the insulation around the door was missing, and the owner said he would take $165 for that one. All golf the dryers we looked at had large amounts of lint in the lint trap, a few had cobwebs on the backs, and one had what appeared to be animal feces on the door. We needed a dryer so we chose one and by this time the owner had disappeared into the back room, leaving the salesman to take care of us. He seemed much nicer and answered our questions. I asked about the military discount, advertised on the building, as I am a veteran and he said it was only 5% off, and basically just took off the sales tax. The one we chose was $200, and the final price after tax was $205.He helped us load the dryer in the truck.When we got home, we spent an hour cleaning the dryer and then installed it. The timer doesn’t work on it, and the dryer stays hot after you open the door to remove your clothing. We will be returning the dryer today to see if they stand behind their warranty.

Very disgusting place. Went here and the appliances were dirty, they didn’t even have a matching set of washers and dryers. I understand that the appliances are used appliances but please clean up the dirty appliances and make them look presentable. Never again. You’re better off going to AARONS. Nobody messages you back or hardly pick up the phone. Save yourself the time. Came all the way from bluffton sc, never again.

Bad Business I brought a set of washer and dryer. Then I decided I want to purchase a newer set they had and just pay the difference since it was non refundable. The owner refuse to so now I’m thinking they sold me something that’s not going to work when I get home. Just buy from Facebook market or similar at least it will be cheaper.

Love the Fridge I purchased here, just still a little upset about the steps into my place that the delivery guys destroyed, without letting me know. Almost fell out of my place with my dog, because I wasnt aware they had broken them. Still makes me a little upset, every time I walk out or in. Not to mention that someone messaged me concerning this, but I couldnt respond at the time they had requested, due to my 3 month old Granddaughter being in town. From then on they only read my messages and ignore me. Never will I purchase another thing from this place and will make sure my friends and followers do not get their steps destroyed to their places as well!

I had a bar fridge for 3 years, and it was slowly dying. But when I saw these amazing and affordable deals on their Facebook marketplace spot. I took the chance! I purchased a pre-own Hotpoint fridge and paid delivery for $180. It was delivered the next day and they took the old fridge away at no cost. I highly recommend these guys!

As an inexperienced appliance purchaser, my desire was to purchase a slightly used washer from an honest and trustworthy dealer. Coastal Appliances more than met my expectations! Customer service from Mr. Bryson and his staff was outstanding. What a pleasure it is to enter an establishment and be greeted with a friendly smile from a person who will patiently answer all your questions with expertise. Although we were having a downpour outside, delivery service was right on schedule as planned. Perhaps the most important thing that will always keep Mr. Bryson’s Coastal Appliances at the top of my list, was the total amount I paid. You will not find a better price or better service.

I was looking for a slightly used stove, I went to another store who tried to charge me over $100 more for a stove that was rusted on the inside. I had found these guys on Facebook Market and decided to give them a try. Best decision ever. There was a little mixup with delivery but they quickly and courteously corrected that.
