Excellent Costco! I really hope it stays no matter what happens to the mall. Ample parking, plenty of carts and easy out. Busy but never too long of a wait! Check out staff was very pleasant and friendly on my visit.

Costco attached to a dying mall. The employees here are always helpful and friendly. Its the normal Costco experience, pretty easy to navigate if you know what you want. $1.50 hot dog and soda, you literally cant find that deal anywhere in 2021, I have to get it every time Im there just because it exists. Would recommend coming here.

One of the best whole prime ribs Ive ever made. Still had ribeyes I cut prior to cooking saved for another grill night. Season fat side up; salt, pepper, garlic powder, season salt whatever else. Put over 500 degrees....cook elevated so juice drops below not saturating meat. Cook 6 mins per pound(7 pounds for 42 mins) Turn off oven and never open the door. Leave in over 4 hours. Last hour turn over on 170 for 30 mins then cut off to finish the 4 hrs. Best ever.

Clean store, helpful employees. Costco stores are pretty much the same wherever you go as far as setup and items offered and this is no exception. Good prices and fully stocked.

Great large store with a good selection. Somewhat of a choppy layout in comparison to some of the other stores making getting around with a large cart challenging on a busy day. Overall nice staff but could do a better job of directing “traffic” around the checkout area.

You cant beat the cost savings and service. Gas is also available at a good price.

They have such a great selection of various items... this trip ended in couches, tacos, meat sticks, and Keri noodles... such a strange assortment but everything is great and well priced.

Very nice establishment I must say the pharmacy department are full of love compassionate and they always there to give you any positive information that you need concerning your meds, health, and prescriptions. I love all the pharmacist thats on duty there nice.

Just signed up for Costco, and we havent had a problem. The problem is that they have so much, and the prices are better than you find anywhere else. You find yourself buying a $100 blender that you dont need, but if you do need it its still a good price compared to other brick-and-mortar stores. Prices are comparable to Amazon.

I no longer have a membership because Costco is so far away, but still like to go once in a while. My brother gave me a gift card for that. The staff is a little rude if you only have the gift card and not a membership. In two different stores. Made me not want to get another membership if they build one closer. They were a little hateful. Sarasota and Fort Myers.

Its Costco! Stock up on necessities and shop for stuff you may or may not need. Fast efficient checkout where one can grab a hotdog on the way out.

Fantastic selection of EVERYTHING ! Amazing prices, helpful and courteous staff. Well organized sales merchandise, great hot dogs and beverages on site. Excellent mobile phone center with several offers from many carriers.

I do not like this idea of yearly fee to pay only for the privilege of shopping there. If you come as a guest of someone you are expected to pay cash! Be prepared! For some items prices are lower than elsewhere but for many they are ar least comparable. Many perishable food items like cheeses are packed in large portions, much too large for two. In general, you need to buy items packed in large quantities. Fresh fruits like melons were still not ripe. And this really annoying checking of your shopping cart after you have paid for your items at the cashiers. Really annoying and insulting.

I love this store, its clean, organized and has a great layout. The staff are really nice and helpful. Kudos to you.

Got to sit down and have a Costco hot dog and coke combo and a slice of pizza for the first time in over a year thanks to Covid. I was so excited to get back to normal.I was a little disappointed though. No sauerkraut, no chopped onions and only cheese or pepperoni pizza and no combo cuts.I know they just recently reopened the sitting area to eat in. I am hoping the missing and changed items is only temporary and things go back to the way they were.

COSTCO is keeping the good business in these difficult COVID-19 times. The company stocks the essentials but in its mind are also the products of pleasure. I found in COSTCO one of the best cheese selections. Of course this products like many others are with very convenient prices. But good cheese requires good wines. COSTCO offers very good selection from California, State of Washington and of course France, Spain etc. countries from the wine belt of the world.

I really, truly love Costco. This is as good as any, which is excellent. Its my spiritual home! Its really hard to get out of here without buying anything. Theres always such a wonderful selection of so many things. Their own brand, Kirkland, is brilliant. Today I saw they are offering an acai bowl in the food area, yum! The most expensive thing on the menu. It looks amazing, cant wait to try.

Customer service is very poor at this location. Not sure why. But multiple times when the need for customer service is needed, shockingly, Ive encountered very rude employees. Not all, There are many outstanding loyal employees .I love shopping at Costco and have shopped there nationwide, this is truly the exception to my experiences .

Always a place to find great deals on quality products,especially the organic offerings, and the produce is always fresh and a good deal. I mostly appreciate that during these odd times they are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of their customers and their staff, A+ for that..The staff is helpful and friendly and the store is well laid out (till they randomly move everything around haha, but I know thats just how grocery works )I visit about ever 1 to 2 months and almost always leave with more than I planned on getting. And I Obviously cannot leave without a rotisserie chicken and/or occasionally a stop at their value driven food court.

Horrible costumer service. I arrived at 9:50 am and online says the store is open. When I went to walk in the lady told me I cant get in because its only for seniors. Im 8m pregnant but I wasnt allowed in even wearing a mask and none of the seniors were wearing them.They check your cart like youre trying to steal something from them. We also used their tire services and we had to wait for 2 weeks for our tires to arrive because they did a mistake and we didnt get any kind of discount from them. Really bad overall.

I came for some large totes that Ibought before and loved but theyre all out but I did get a great deal on 2 outside pillows for less than $5 for both... had some yummy samples then as I was leaving I bought a footlong & drink for 1.50

Costco has pretty much anything you would need at reasonable prices. It is very clean and the staff is courteous and helpful.

We are very impressed by the customer service in this store.Marcy in the hearing section offered my husband a wide fabric elastic band with buttons so he can wear the mask with the ear loops below the ears instead of over the ears, thus reducing the risk of losing the hearing aids while wearing the mask. What a great idea and workable solution!Mark in the optical section fixed and cleaned my prescription glasses and sunglasses : all the time he was cheerful and professional while workingA team of efficient staff is a great asset to Costco!

Costco is always a great store to shop sometimes are better than others to be honest, but that’s not Costco’s fault due to the amount of business they have at that time, also I was in retail for many years and you can’t help when people call out you do your best to replace them but it’s very difficult especially in a pandemic. I have to say thank you to each and everyone of them because in this pandemic they have not let us down. Overall the associates that work there are very helpful, friendly and the checkout wait time usually is pretty fast. Especially if you compare it to the wait time in Staten Island Costco but I’m not saying nothing bad about that store either they just happen to be extremely busy with every register going. They also have very good associates so whoever set the standard for hiring, does a great job! It also helps that Costco pays a fair working wage.

I wish they offered a store map to find items. Very few workers on floor to help. But selection is fantastic. Just too long to find items!

If you love this country and want to have a functioning society for your grand children to live in then I recommend reconsidering doing business with Costco. Costco is aligning with the cancel culture mob and using their corporate power to discontinue products owned or created by people who have publicly expressed their conservative values. That is and has always been our right as Americans. Now the cancel culture mob thinks that they have found a loophole to destroy our freedom of speech by pressuring weak companies to discriminate against us. I will never support a company that gives in to a mob that wants to cancel you and cancel America and neither should you.

NEGATIVE ZERO STAR. I wish there was a negative Star Review, because this is what Costco deserves. I have been a member for over 10 years and these last couple of times shopping at the Sarasota Costco have been ridiculous. They treat everyone like a child, no respect for those who pay to be a member, (remember that a MEMEBER), they offer a self checkout lane but that is far from a self checkout. Oh and dont get me started on the Masks. Watch the news Costco masks are not needed. I really thought Costco was a great and friendly place, not anymore. Oh and lets not forget their overpriced membership. Trust me this we be my last time shopping at any Costco and I would bet Im not the only one.

I have never been to a Costco where the staff is so attentive and nice. The check out was smooth and fast. the cashier and the person helping were polite and friendly.

I shop at AZ ones often and the staff there is always respectful and nice. This Costco which is in FL where mask mandates are no longer required was the worst mask experience I have seen. It wasn’t even to me. It was to a gentleman and his wife, who’s mask fell below her nose. The two had enough of the harassment and started to leave the the employee very rudely shouted “have fun at Walmart”. I cannot believe that is how the employees treat people at this store. Needless to say, it’s not worth my time or money to go back to this place after seeing how they treat other PAYING to be in the store customers. This mask stuff is understandable but the harassment those two received was absolutely not!

I love shopping here. Everyone is always very helpful and the selection is awesome.

Be careful with the Costco autoprogram!. It is confusing. Dealerships just used them for ads. Costco gave me the Invoice price $24,169 based on the MSRP price $25,350 but Honda Wilde Sarasota starts to calculate from the ``Retail Price of $27,415. It is $3,000 more for the base price. Both examples are for the same basic models. Then they calculate taxes and fees additional.

Arrived at Costco today 9:30 am and was told I was not admitted until 10am because of senior hours! I looked up the opening time on the website and Google and see NOTHING about this time. I’m forced to wait a half an hour when there are literally 20 people (including staff) in Costco right now. This is ridiculous. Most all seniors around here have been vaccinated. It is mid May 2021!! Frustrating waste of my time!!

Steaks are fantastic! Liquor store has amazing prices... Great product at great prices. Employees like working there. Costco is well-known for paying its employees high wages. As illogical as it sounds, Costco’s high employee wages are part of its cost-savings plan. With employees earning a decent wage, they are more productive and less likely to quit. Take a look at the year on each employees badge. It is not out of the norm to see workers that have worked there since the 90s. Costcos model is to have 50% full time employees and the other half is part time. Part time employees get full medical that is mostly paid for by Costco. People will work there part time for this benefit alone. This is a great company... probably the best run company in the world.

I got a costco hot dog here for $1.50 and a smoothie. Both were delicious. I then went to get a rack of lamb and my sister got sunscreen. Its costco. Its beautiful. Its great.

I love Costco quality and selection of food BUT their customer service and check out procedure leaves ALOT to be desired. I only shop monthly and spend hundreds of dollars, and every time I go they have new confusing way to check out. 2 months ago I was berated for waiting in the self checkout lane, which was where everyone waited last time I was there then directed to the right lanes. The self checkout had cashiers, which were waiting for me as the female employee kept me tied up telling me i had too many items (about 15) and next time to go to other lanes.This past time I had 30 large items, so went to regular lane, had all bar codes facing cashier easily scannable like last time when cashier thanked me. This guy, Ben told me I had to put all small items up, so I did. Rest was cartons etc. He wasnt happy with that, had to touch and pick up every single item and throw them down the belt! Then at door the guy asks if i found everything, I had not so replied I missed 3 items. Instead of offering to get them, his reply was Oh 3 things out of 8000? Thats not bad! And he never even counted my items, just quickly glanced at them. Over $400 and treated this way? NOT acceptable!!!

Strange location connected to the practically abandoned mall. Did not have some items they stated were supposed to be in store. Annoying check out process. Just meh.

Costco is always a great place to shop and this one is large and easy to navigate. Great and varied wine selection. I would have given it 5 stars but it is a little bit out of the way and we needed Google to help us get there and back.

Costco always has excellent value for its members. It got an OLED TV 55 inches for $1455, including the extended warranty. I highly recommend Costco for a slice of pizza to a brand new TV. I love the management and leadership of this business. It’s incredible

Shortly after moving to Sarasota, I joined Costco, it took a while to get used to their buying as I was a daily or bi daily buyer. Things were great, I used Costco, saving money on food, clothing, & gasoline, until I stopped in to purchase a console, there was no furniture, I asked an associate, he directed me to the end aisle, stating whatever we have is there, if its not, you have to buy online I did just that, the only additional charge was sales tax. It arrived 12/23 just before Christmas, costing $599 + tax. My next trip to Costco was !12/26, as I walked in the entrance, all I could see was furniture, the console was there priced at $499. $100 less, I went to the customer service desk, the girl gave me the phone # of Costco, they stated they have to arrange for a pickup. I stated why cant you simply do a price adjustment like everyone else? She explained were a separate company, thats the only way we can do it. They picked up the console on 1/2/21 waiting for a refund to show on my credit card, when no refund showed by 1/9/21 I called again, the girl kept asking me to speak up, while her child screamed & whined in the background. She stated she would list the credit, it will go on my card as soon as its returned to the manufacturer. Here I am on 1/16/21, still no refund, I call again speaking to Quincy, she asks if I know who picked it up, I stated give me the name & Ill remember it. She named one company, I knew it wasnt correct, I remembered it starting with INN, she gave the name, I verified it. She asked me to hold while she called the company, I waited several minutes, she asked me to wait a few more minutes. She responded, I started your credit, they have to verify it when its received by the manufacturer. I reminded her its been 2 weeks, I want my money, wheres the manufacturer China? She responded probably. Before I receive the refund the console has to make its way across the USA, then be put aboard a ship to China. ABSOLUTE INSANITY!!! When & where the HELL is this ever acceptable? If there is any way to remove the 1 star I gave & still leave a review, I would. DO NOT EVER BUY COSTCO ONLINE !!!

Even under trying circumstances the staff at this store remained efficient, courteous and friendly. We as consumers should really step back and appreciate what a difficult job the staff and management had when the mobs descended on the store. This goes for all of the retail establishments.During the early part of the pandemic they handled the onrush amazingly. Stock levels appear to have returned to normal.

Surprise, it wasnt too crowded today? A great place to buy your everyday items. Great prices if you can handle the size of some item pack. The perfect place to buy things like bottled water, paper iyems, cereals, and so on. The employees are always very helpful and extremely courteous.

Love the store the people are great make sure that the managers tell the employees how good of a job they are doing coming directly from the customers that in its self will give the employees a good feeling about themselves thatll make them better employees a simple thank you youre doing a great job I know I own three business a day doesnt go by that I dont tell my employees how good of a Publix job they are doing and its not just coming from me its coming from the people that you are waiting on the customer has to feel appreciated and so does the employee dont forget

Why is nothing posted over the top of the aisles what is in that aisle instead of just a number for an aisle that is not helpful and when you get to the checkout instead of having a handheld scanner you have to try and scan it across the Flat surface and when you have large items its not convenient

It’s Costco- of course the products are amazing, but an employee pulled me over and said my mask had to be all the way up. I was literally drinking water. FYI, all big corporations will require you here to wear a mask- such as Nordstrom, Trader Joe’s and Costco. Local businesses will not require you to wear one. This is a nice way to tell if a company is a corporation.
