First Store I was a customer at that I had an aggressive cashier and the heavy set dark haired cashier became acutely aggressive with me because I handed her my 30.00 coupons before my employee discountYes Employee Discount! She came across the counter “ where do you even work” after five years as employee benefits user Ive never been scolded like that! I asked for the manager who dismissed my Concern of the aggressive cashier Sunday around noon. The soft spoken seemingly polite manager was just as rude but passive aggressively, refusing to acknowledge the very disturbing shopping experience I hadNo I wont shop there again

I can always find that unique gift, that one kitchen item, that name brand sheet set at a lower cost. Great staff, always helpful. My only complaint? The aisles arent wide enough!

Home goods is trash and will sell you defective items and refuse to let you return them. I bought two calphalon brand cookie sheets that said “dishwasher safe” on the packaging. I washed them one time and they oxidized so quickly that they ruined my new French press and two other stainless steel cooking sheets. I went to return them right away and the manager said they can’t take them back. What am I supposed to do? Wash it with the labels on it so they can resell the rusty cookie sheets? Wholly unacceptable. Buyer beware.

I have 3 Home Goods stores to choose from and the Sarasota store on Bee Ridge is the best. The people are awesome and very helpful. Lynn in particular.I have noticed lately however, the throw pillow selection seems to have way too many cheaper feeling pillows. The fill is hard and synthetic instead of down or feathers. Home Goods has always been my favorite place to by my decorative pillows but, I will not be buying any of the cheaply filled ones.

My favorite store along with TJ Maxx. Love treasure hunting here. They are always ready for the next season or holiday. Ive noticed they have increased their prices, some things are not a very good deal anymore. For instance furniture they sell here have defaluts, damaged, broken,limping and such and they are expensive. Like this ugly 2 seat couch for $2000 which is a joke, when we bought a gorgeous 6 seat sectional with ottoman for $1000 at Costco. This store used to be about quality brand and intenational products on a discounted price. The discount is less nowadays, could be becauae of Covid and transportation is more difficult. May 2021. Still love going here for a treasure hunt :)

This is my go to for looking for cool and uniques finds for my home. I typically always leave with something, its hard not to. They really have a great selection of items to choose from and from all different categories. I arable to find a lot of vases and bucket type items to use for my floral arrangements at a great price. Not to mention all the seasonal holidays stuff too which I definitely cant resist. The store is clean, the staff id friendly and the atmosphere is always fun.

Interesting shopping experience. The store is sort of a throwback, in that its not a huge space. Actually, it feels quite cramped, particularly if there are a lot shoppers shopping. The aisles are narrow as heck, so its hard to maneuver your cart around. My advice is park it someplace and bring your finds to the cart. There are bottlenecks down every aisle, it seems. The place is chock a block full of stuff. Makes the store seem like its bursting at the seams. Consequently, its not a very aesthetic Home Goods store. The displays are few and cramped. And once the customers start going through things, there are messes made. Having said that, the staff was lovely, helpful, and cheery. So its not a bad shopping experience once you know what to expect.

I get dragged into the store by my wife every week or so as she looks for random goodies for the house. It is always very well stocked and seems to have new stuff all the time. I actually enjoy seeing what’s new on the visits.

Home Goods has everything that you could imagine in your dream world of gifts. From delicious food delicacies from around the world to cute cups for your coffee or perfect frames for the artist in you. Stop by and I guarantee you will leave with many treasures that you really can’t live without.

Always love shopping here. But they still verbally require customers to wear masks. This is Florida, masks are not mandated. Until they change their company policy this will stay 3 star for me.

Friendly and helpful staff. We found a few nice pieces for the house and some nice wine glasses.

You guys really went above and beyond today. The manager and Alex (?) helped get the enormous piece a furniture I have been looking for at every Homegoods in the 2 hours vicinity. I know it was a huge pain, but thank you. I thought the store is layed out very well and organized.

Be sure you have enough time to browse. There are so many nice items & displays it’s difficult to choose.

Always love HomeGoods, but have noticed many items ie.. lamps shades are scratched, crooked. So many items look used. Perhaps due to items being detailed because of the pandemic.2 HG stores were quit sparse in inventory and the stores were in a disarray.

Home Goods is okay...never seem to walk away with any bargains...

Very messy store, packed with items, but felt disorganized and unattractive cramped isles. I will avoid this location in future, even though I am a devoted shopper of the Marshalls/ TJ Maxx stores.

Had a great experience at this home goods! Soo much to choose from ! Was soo pleased with all the things I got for $1,000. Then when I got to the register with a new girl kaylin, she asked me if I would like to save 10% by opening a credit card and of coarse I said sure. Then another employee Barb came and assisted the new girl And was outstanding in her customer service with me and her fellow worker. Thanks Barb! I highly recommend this store

BEWARE HOME GOODS IN SARASOTA, FL, AND LG APPLIANCES -Sad tale of a defective LG oven purchase from Home Goods in Sarasota, FL.August, 2020, we took delivery of an LG oven purchased from the Home Goods store on Cattleman in Sarasota, FL. Sadly, the oven would not heat past 170 degrees F., it is clearly defectiveLG sent out a repair person, who was unable to fix it. Then another, and finally, a third today, also unable to repair it. We were told that a repair person has to inform LG engineering before anything more can be done. It is possible that the most recent repair person might do that.We went to the Home Goods store today, where it was purchased, and met with Jason, a manager in the appliance department. We had the jarring experience of being told very gruffly by Jason that “Home Goods has nothing to do with the warrantee”. He rudely brushed off our inquiring about the possibility of a replacement.We are very disappointed and disillusioned with our experience with both LG and Home Goods.

I am just leaving this store and I will never come back. It was my first and last visit. Apparently I did not go thru the right entrance door. It’s not marked well! I was then scolded by an employee. I apologized several times and she continued in her loud voice. As I was leaving she started in on me again and proceeded to tell me to shop somewhere else! What a great idea! I will be doing just that! She should not be working at any retail business.

I bit into a bowl of fruit that APPEARED very fresh and to my dismay the fruit was totally STYROFOAM!The makeup of the fruit was not what I expected but I did still enjoy the taste, so I will be returning to this establishment.

Great deals on almost everything you will need for the home. Linens, cookware, furniture, artwork, and so much more. Browse thru the aisles and you will likely find that accent piece for the mantle or a new side table for your family room. It changes regularly, so stop by again to see whats new

Great selection and good prices! I always find my favorite brand of candle here en masse. If youre a candle fan like myself, check for DW Home brand. The label is pretty distinctive, and the scents are always very strong. I also find a wonderful selection of kitchen goods here.

Homegoods. The store you go in and cant get out of. It is infuriating that they dont put more cashiers on. Left my cart and items behind and now home shopping online.

I went specifically for candles and theyre selection seemed a little poor. And a couple candles I picked up were badly damaged (the candle part, not the jar). Its still an amazing store...one of my favorites!

Nice selection in about anything for the home. Great prices. I did not give it 5 stars only because the isles are super tight and gets aggravating trying to maneuver with a cart.

The manager Thomas is the best of any Home Goods we have ever been too. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming here. So many items to choose from and always the help you need to shop!

Love the merchandise but a large group of us stood in line longer than it took me to shop. Only 1 check out open.

If youre decorating your new place and are not in a rush, TJMaxx is the place. There are few of them around Sarasota, all very busy with merch. moving quickly. So if you spot something you like, grab it, you can always return it. If youve never been there, they have furniture, rugs, pots, plates, drapes, sheets, towels, they have everything.

Home Goods at UTC is one of my fav stores! I go there at least once a week. They have the best prices and an incredible selection of merchandise from all over the world at unbeatable prices! They close at 9:30 pm and have the nicest personnell. You feel like its Christmas all year long its always busy! The thing is nothing stays on their shelves too long!
