Really great Walmart in Sarasota. The store is clean, well stocked and and the staff was very helpful 😊👍

Store is ok, staff do not mask, nor do any of the patrons. For its location, I expected it to be more upscale. Ill stick to the cattlemen location even though its out of my way.

Never had customer service this bad before. My sister and I went to print pictures for our parents anniversary and ordered the wrong size. Went to talk to the worker at the desk, and other guest kept coming up after to speak to him. I simply asked if he would cancel our order and he acknowledged us, completely ignored us, helped the other guests and walked away. I will not be returning to this location.

Just terrible.Shelves were empty.Choices were very limited.Produce was in bad shape.I know its Walmart, but wow. Just wow.Very disappointed.

The death of Retail is coming and its being driven by retail itself!!! Herding!! Us into the Self check out registers!!! By not opening enough (Human operated registers) registers theyre hoping youll get fed up enough with waiting on a cashier, thatll you will relent (give in)and use the self check-out registers. So, the more retail makes it less personable the more reason just to order the items On-Line!!!!

Normally I would post a positive comment. However, I noticed that the cashier was double scanning items which was resolved immediately with Customer Service. I buy the same 45 items every week so I realized that the total amount was way off. The average consumer probably wouldnt have noticed right away. Shopping on Sundays is not a recommended since most selves are empty and restocking occurs around 8 PM.

WATCH OUT BEFORE YOU BUY WATERMELONS ON SALE IN THIS WALMART!! I came in here no once, but TWICE to return a watermelon in bad condition (bad smell, tasting acidic, etc).I recommend the store manager to look deeper into this issue regarding the fruits department.I got my money refunded, but I was expecting some kind of compensation for this incident because MY TIME AND CAR GAS AINT FREE to come here 2 TIMES to return BAD WATERMELONS, so Im very dissapointed with the customer service team for not taking further action regarding my complaint.Note: If Walmarts Management if seeing this comment, I will update my review upon resolution.

I went for gallons of swimming pool chlorine, which has always been a good deal but they were out of it and have been for a month. Instead, I bought the more expensive Chlorox quarts. Makes me wonder if they have stopped carrying the inexpensive brand?

Its a Walmart so you cant expect too much, but its been getting worse and worse. Less selection and more out of stock items, plus aisles blocked with stuff nobodys putting away.

I have always loved shopping at Walmart. The only big issue I have is never enough cashiers and really long lines.

What a disaster walked around Electronics for 20 minutes trying to get service to buy a game. Two employees came to the counter so I went over and ask to get game. They told me they had checked out and would be back in 45 min. Found a manager only to be told there was nothing he couldnt do anything only those associates had keys. Unbelievable so we left and went to Target got immediate service and checked out.

This Walmart super center is great.they have a lot of products and the entrances are labeled for easy entry for right where you need to go to suit your needs. They offer curb side pick up on groceries by the Beer & Wine entrance. There is a pharmacy inside. There is at least 4 check out lanes open with cashiers and the self check out is open as well so less wait at this Walmart compared to others. They have cool drinks at check out if thirsty along with snacks. The photos od the store entrances Ive added are from left to right: Beer & Wine, Groceries & Pharmacy, and Home Living.

Poor products. Bought a rotten tomato and was overcharged. A product was voided twice and then added again twice. Have called corporate office regarding this matter. Have to return Hahr Daz French Vanilla ice Cream. It is so rotten it is horrific. Will not let me upload photo of rotten, molded ice cream

Pretty well stocked, I think that is horrible me of Walmarts major issues is not having what you want on the shelf. Also I have a disability and use the power chairs, I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes with no seats anywhere for my husband to hunt one down. There should be enough there to accommodate the guests.

Been to a couple Walmarts in town and this my favorite one. Always clean, restrooms included. Shelves are stocked. Fresh food, fun to shop there you dont get that irritated feeling....you know the one. Plus the rides out front WORK.

I used to enjoy shopping at Walmart, no longer. To shop here is an extremely aggravating experience. Walmart wants you to do all the work checking yourself out, wait on endless lines, questioned at the door after waiting on line for 20 minutes, wanna pay cash? Sorry the self check out doesnt take cash. No thanks.

Hate that self checkout will not take cash. Only 1 line open and people with a lot of items use it. So, If I have a couple of things I get to stand in a super long line. Not to mention, there was a girl working at the self checkout at the cattleman location that was super rude. Dont intend to go there again.

Always super crowded, barely enough room to maneuver in the produce, deli, & bakery. Ive seen no more than 3 open checkout lanes with a cashier. Self checkout lanes with conveyor belts are never open. The other self checkout lanes usually have several broken registers. The lines for self checkout are huge, especially during lunch hours & 5pm-ish. Also, they like to restock the shelves at the busiest times leaving barely enough room to get by them and the employees either huff and puff because youve said excuse or they pretend youre not there and continue to take up the whole aisle. Leaving pallets in aisles causing people to trip. They also like to use their self navigating floor cleaner with moldy, musty water.. the smell is horrible.

I love this plade. It is open 24 hours and rarely closes (only on some holidays). You can find everything here... literally everything. Very organized and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I suggest you visit Walmart at Lockwood Ridge in Sarasota.

This store is very dirty, out if stock issues, never can find a manager, never enough registers open. If you can avoid this Walmart please do a so.

Pretty good experiences. One pickup took way too long and many times they claim something is out of stock, when in reality, they just didnt want to finish the order.

Optical center guys are awesome. Great deals on glasses and a very friendly staff!

I get my scripts here...great people in the pharmacy. Also got my vaccines.Food department is good too.

Did the curbside pick up again. It was timely, accurate, there was some substitutions.

The store is under stocked. My main Walmart has more products on their shelves. Very unorganized store, the only department that was neat was the baby and toddler section, the employee was busting her bum, to make it look very nice and inviting.

Purchased spoiled milk from here not once, but TWICE. It was so inconvenient bc it was for my toddler. Also, all of the products are always filthy w dirt & grime smeared all over it, especially the frozen & refrigerated foods which is gross. Idk what is up with that. Its nasty. Wish i lived closer to a different Walmart bc this one is just nasty.

I nearly always use the self-checkout. It is time that more of them were opened. Heaven knows if Walmart will ever need ALL of those closed checkouts again.

Its a walmart. We are all familiar with what you are getting. That said I gave 3 stars because there were a lot of empty shelves. We all know walmart only stocks deals they get so you may not be able to buy some brands but I was looking at a lot of empty spaces, which were things they normally have.

They are still inconsistent with Covid fluctuations locally but every retailer is here.This weekend is back to school and they didnt staff enough. They have 8 self-serve check-outs which helps.

Shelves empty, employees dont speak English or are completely useless. Management disrespecting employees in front of customers. No wonder there arent enough cashiers or stockers. Multi-million dollar company thats run like a lemonade stand. This store is a joke.

Bought an iPhone.No tech people show up to work to help me and I was told to take it T Mobile.I did only to be told it’s locked and only Walmart can unlock.Went back. No one can help.I have been calling for 2 days and no one answers 99.9 % of the time and then the one time someone did she didn’t know anything and getting in touch with the store manager is another story.I guess I’ll return it and buy directly from Apple which I should have done in the first place.This store’s customer service SUCKS!!

As a disabled Vet. My question to this particular Walmart is. Why so many reserve parking for pharmacy pick up? And so few spaces for Handicap parking. There are two Handicap parking that are at least 100meters from the building of the store.

I have surprisingly become a regular customer at this Walmart. It sits back in a shopping center near the intersection of University Parkway and Lockwood Ridge Road. That area includes a Walgreens, Subway, Petland, Crunch fitness, as well as McDonalds and Goodwill. Walmart is usually well stocked, especially if you shop early mornings. I have shopped both in store and online for pick up. You can also get a Walmart membership for free Grocery delivery. They also offer ready to eat foods by weight for chicken wings and tenders, plus sides like fries, etc.

Well stocked. Had everything on our list. Clean, brightly lit. Polite staff.

Shelves at this store arent stocked very well. This time they had $22 kcups where five-dollar hot cocoa packets were supposed to be. My consistently have problems buying normal items they carry because theyre continually out of stock. This doesnt seem to be an issue with other local Walmarts, but its been a problem at this location for a long time. I like to go up to the highway 70 store because theyre better at keeping their shelves stocked.

In and out real quick, found everything right away.

It was very busy due to storm coming in, but we were able to get in and out without any trouble.

I retired and moved to Sarasota. I did my research and knew African Americans make up 14% of Sarasota population but I didnt know Walmart employees were prejudice. Had been shopping there many years and never experienced this. So sad.

Not a lot of selection of some items, and no one available to ask. Greeter scrutinizeed everyones receipt upon leaving without even glancing at items in our cart. It didnt seem to be about security, because he didnt even glance at the number of items in the cart. Just nosey or maybe auditioning for a job at SAMS Club?

A store where you can get just about anything.A full grocery store, a pharmacy, clothing and household goods. They even have a fabric department.The store is clean and the staff is always helpful.

Saline WalMart is so much cleaner than the old WalMart on Ellsworth. But it seems like the inventory was low. Many shelves were empty. There was an associate to help out every time I was searching for something. Very friendly, and staffed for the time of day.

This location has come a lonnnng ways. It used to be so dirty and unorganized and a lot of rude/nasty staff. In thr last year it has become MUCH BETTER! Just want to give credit and recognition where its due.

Great place to shop ... good prices, usually a good selection. Go early!!!

Very clean. The cashiers are nice and they try to get the customers in and out.

What can you say about Walmart, for me its a good place to go for many things at a decent price.

Dont buy any meat or product from deli. there are cockroaches on the same table they slice, that they have refused to handle. They dont clean the slicers after cutting different types of meat and the workers don’t believe cross contamination is real. I took photos of the roaches.

It never fails. It seems that everytime I visit the store theres never anyone replenishing the shelves with needed merchandise. As frustrating as it may be, I keep coming back with hopes of a change....total lack of concern for customer care and satisfaction.

Customer service is Rude! Went to purchase a Gopro, so was looking at either the 7 or 8. While I was comparing the 2, the service man said he couldnt stand around while I did this, I said yeah, I can see your swamped and you have a line of customers (I was the only one back in electronics at 8am) he said, well I have someone in TVs waiting for my assistance, I replied I can wait, Ill even walk with you. He got hateful, so I did too and didnt purchase their product. While there, I went ahead and purchased stuff for the apt. We were renting out and there was only 1 line open versus Do it yourself. So I went to the do it yourself, where their customer service - informed me that I needed to go thru the other line to check out - I said Im not doing that and theres no sign on my limit to scan- he said well you have alot. I said not really it just looks that way and picked a spot and did my thing. What the help is wrong with people??

Worst experience ever ! If I could give 0 starts I would ! I placed an order online for a couch it came incomplete and super dirty, went to get a refund and apparently they can’t take it back I have to contact the vendor. This is super inconvenient and time consuming for no reason when it was literally placed in their website, they should be able to issue the refund. Never buy anything online with them ! Don’t waste your time

Went into electronics for a wall mount for a 32 inch tv. It was $31, including tax here, and it was $99, plus tax at the big box appliance store.Love to save money!

It took about twenty minutes to get someone to sporting goods. The person made sure to tell me they left their break to come. I did thank the person and was nice about it considering I saw the person a couple times before they went on break. Perhaps they should have helped me and the other three people then.

Went on the Sunday Night at 7 of Memorial Day weekend. They had two registers open and one Bank of self check out. The lines went into the isles in the store. It was absolutely ridiculous! I saw that and left my cart full of items. WalMart doesnt want to pay a decent wage. So noone will work there. More people have to leave their full carts and walk out. That way they will know they are losing business and raise their employees wages. Im no longer shopping at Walmart!

The grocery and pharmacy areas were in good shape, the womens clothing, accessories and undergarments areas were a disorganized mess. As well, Walmart doesnt seem to be carrying the inventory they used to. They had a very limited selection of sports bras, and nothing at all in the sizes I was looking for. Ditto ladies handbags, looking for a Burch cat bag shown online,, but found nothing fun or for spring. Looked like they had the ugly leftovers from last year. Very disappointing.

The store is now open until 11:00 pm but there is no where or signs stating that the electronics department is closed around 7:00pm and nobody else in store can help you at all if you need anything from this specific department shame on Walmart shame on the corporate will be putting a complain with the DBPR for not even having a sign saying that this department is closedAlso the customer service area should be open until 8:00 pm or around this is a lie sometimes you need to perform anything here and the lights are off around 6:00 pm and no one available to helpin conclusion they should start closing Walmart at 5:00 pm because no one is available to help after this timeIs very frustrating as a recurrent Walmart customer to not be able to get anything on the store or proper help

Walmart has the best price for my Continental tires. They were not in stock so had to wait a few days but made an appointment online. Smooth process. At the store they were very friendly and helpful and installation cost including balancing etc is only $ 15 per tire!!I saw that oil changes, fuel system cleaning and other services are at equal low rates. Not going to dealers anymore, tired of being charged too much ! Next time Walmart again

Poor customer service. I ordered groceries on the Walmart pickup app and my order seemed to have been lost in the mix. No big deal.. I call in and wait over 20 mins, no one picks up. I call back and try to explain my situation to the woman who is on the general line customer service. She gets an attitude and tells me there is nothing she can do and hangs up the phone. I call back and still get a lot of pushback from her as she will not help direct me towards a solution. She then huffed and puffed and gave me a phone number to call which was out of service.. Can I just have my groceries please?

This WalMart has the worse customer service and rude self entitled employees Ive ever seen. I dont believe they know the actual meaning of customer service. Today I actually asked for help from two different employees multiple times and they purposely walked right by me as if I did not exists while standing five feet away from them. I wonder if the Walmart corporation thinks this is acceptable behavior from their employees.This is nothing new here. Most of the departments have minimal personnel stocking and doing their actual jobs, so much stock and options are scarce. On stocking days the evening crew leaves pallets of merchandise in the middle of isles and if you try to go get an item from there, they tell you that you cant until it goes up on the shelf by the overnight crew. Outrageous!Its obvious these employees are not being held accountable by their respective managers and management; therefore they have lost a repeat customer who usually spends a good amount there. Id rather drive extra miles and time to shop at other clean respectable WalMart locations . If I could give zero stars I would. However, I must give at least one in order to post this review.

Walmarts always amazing to go to only thing I do not like anymore is they close at 11:00 p.m. it used to be 24 hours store I enjoy going later at night. I mainly go there for the hunting and fishing and camping section but I do go there for all of my needs pretty much love Walmart. 🤘🏼
