This was the smoothest installation I have ever experienced from any company for any project I have had done. It was a delight and I felt so happy after they left that I told everyone I ran into what a great job they did. The countertop quartz looked even better than the sample i the store.

I was pleasantly surprised this company did everything they said they were going to do, and on time. The leathered marble I ordered is beautiful. The man who came to measure for my 2 counters was knowledgeable. He told me leathered marble does not work well with seams, I didnt have any so it was perfect. I ordered a beveled edge, he said I might not be happy with that edge cuz it doesnt work so well with the leathered marble, I took his advise and changed the edge, I couldnt be happier! Thank you! We had a water leak in the kitchen sink area so all the base cabinets and particle board countertops were trashed and replaced. Distinctive Surfaces provided us a fast and efficient replacement of countertops in the exact color ordered. We were contacted every step of the process by email or phone with explanations of what to expect. All 6 employees we came in contact with were courteous and knowledgeable with our contract. Selected material and purchased through Home Depot. Was put in contact with DS representatives and was a breeze from there. The measurement crew went over all the final details and double checks with me onsite. Install crew was proffesional and clean. They even worked out some tricky install details with my permission. Team avoided any awkward jamming or potential scratch points on the Cabinets sides. Final install looks great.

I hired this company to sand and polish my gloss finish corian kitchen counter tops. The first guy they sent left all swirls marks from sanding and the finish was matt/satin. I complained and he said thats the way its supposed to be and left. I disputed my credit card and told the company I wasnt satisfied. They sent out a different guy and he sanded 2 feet of my counter and said he needed more time because they booked him for 6 jobs that day and to reschedule. So I called company and the service manager was rude and said they would send him out again but that was the last time. The guy came today and said they werent going to pay him for last time or this time and didnt finish sanding the rest of my counter tops and just sprayed some cooking spray on them and buffed them and left after 10 minutes. Apparently they subcontract their jobs. I called the company and told them he didnt finish the job because he wasnt getting paid and that I wasnt paying them either. Very disappointed and upset and I worked for a granite company for 6 years so I know how my counters should look. I will never use this company or recommend them and they do all the work for Home Depot!!!

The staff is courteous and patient and I was not their easiest client to deal with. The salesman did a wonderful job of putting us in the correct product for our price point. The granite we chose fit our colorway perfectly and looks expensive even though it wasnt. The templater was both professional and knowledgeable and the installers were awesome. The install went without a hitch and they left the jobsite looking better than it was before they came. We are very happy with Distinctive Surfaces and will be using them in the future when we build our next home.

What a refreshing business to deal with. Im writing this review to commend this company for their highest level of customer service in response to a slight issue. At first, my install was slightly different that I expected. There was a communication issue, which was partially my fault. Rather than blame me, they immediately re-worked the problem at great expense to them, until I was 100% happy. The quality of the install on an extremely difficult job was incredible. The only component better than the install was the incredible communication. As soon as there was an issue, the GM, Brian, immediately contacted me and gave me his cell phone number saying were going to get it perfect. And thats what they did. If you want a guarantee that a business will stand behind their work, use Distinctive Surfaces.

We had quartz countertops installed by DSI of Florida on Tuesday 11/3 when they finished the house was a mess, we knew this would happen. We cleaned the house and by the time we finished it was to late to install our sinks. Wednesday morning 10:08am DSI called to see how the job went, we told them that the countertops looked great and that our installers were pleasant but messy.Them we started to install our sinks. The 2 bathroom sinks went in with no problems, but our kitchen sink, which is 6 months old is a mess. Mounting channels are all bent out of shape, cuts are on a slant or hacked. It has been a nightmare to get this sink in. We didnt have a chance to fully insured that the sinks would fit by the time DSI called.Make sure you can verify everything fits properly before you sign off on the job. We didnt, we saw the sinks in place and assumed that they would fit properly.

Distinctive Surfaces was the subcontractor of Home Depot that recently installed granite bathroom countertops as well as doing some other granite work in my home. The sink holes were incorrectly cut and we were without water in all three bathroom sinks for 5 days. The GM did a great job shortening the turnaround, but other issues related to this install and the other work I had done, lead me to only give them a 3 star rating.

I had a great experience with this company. I made most of the arrangements by phone and email, and everything turned out beautifully. The installers were very professional, efficient and friendly. The office contact dealt with was excellent as well. And of course the end product looks awesome! Its one of the best at-home service experience weve had in a long time.

Terrible company! Came in to polish countertops and made a disaster of our home! Dust everywhere and they could care less! Cleaned up nothing! I should have read the reviews before having them do the work. Never even called back when we said that the home was totally covered in dust! ZERO customer service. Probably why they have a 2 star rating.

Distinctive Surfaces recently installed the granite in my moms kitchen. They were so nice, extremely professional and my mom was so happy with the install and the attitude of the installers. Great experience from start to finish. Ordered granite from Home Depot. They told us that the installer will allow us to look at slabs and pick out which ones we want. Template maker was very courteous and personable. When I went to pick out slab, the distributor was very helpful and showed me several before I picked out the two I wanted. These two slabs had some spots that I was concerned about but DSI was happy to work with me and avoided them when cutting the stone. Installers were quick and courteous.

This company has customer service and skilled contracted employees that is in the old school category. Superb is another word I would use. I love the transistion of my kitchen, enjoying it everyday now that I am retired. I am recommending Distinctive Surfaces to everyone reading these reviews. You will be another satisfied customer. Purchased granite top through Home Depot. Distinctive Services was the fabricator that Home Depot uses. Scheduling for the template was scheduled within a few days. Happened right on schedule. Granite was fabricated and ready for installation in less than two weeks. Scheduling was very flexible to meet our schedule. Installation happened right on time - granite slab was perfect. Could not improve on the overall process - excellent service. Five stars.

We were sent to this company through Home Depot and our experience was perfect. We were putting a piece of granite on our outdoor bar. They called within a few days of purchase, came out and measured, then just a week later came out and installed. Much quicker than they estimated. Installers were great also and the granite we picked were very happy with. Would definitely use this company again.

I absolutely loved Distinctive Surfaces! The gentleman who came out to measure was so professional and precise. I had extremely large and heavy quartz/recycled glass counter tops. The two installers were on time, took their time cutting and installing, helped me level my stove and completely cleaned up. I had no problems and would recommend this company anytime! My counter tops are so beachy - with little pieces of shells along with the glass. LOVE THEM!!!

We are very pleased with the quartz installation that was done by DSI. The installers were very polite and efficient. The countertops look perfect. Although they could not guarantee our large mirror would be able to stay in place, they were successful in doing so, with the quartz backsplash neatly fitting up to it. Another company had quoted us a hefty price to remove the mirror and put it back up. Plumber Ben came the following day to install the faucets that we purchased from Lowes. Unfortunately, the faucets had missing parts, and Ben was great about coming back later in the day so we could run out to exchange them. Highly recommend.

My experience was entirely different than most of these posts. I was a customer of Home Depot who sub-contracted to DSF & the service level was awful! I wont go into the horrible details but it goes without saying that had I contracted them direct, theyd be getting sued for the damages they left behind in their wake!While they did replace the unit measured incorrectly, the service reps damaged my newly renovated kitchen area being careless. I am not satisfied with their service nor has anyone reached out to me regarding the damages they caused. Obviously their below reply is standard as it is NOT reflective of my experience.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional. 2 shady workers came to my house and my daughter was scared to answer the door till my nanny arrived. While they were waiting they decided to play basketball in my driveway. They installed the granite in my outdoor kitchen about 7 feet of granite. They had cut the granite into 4 pieces and left three seams very unattractive! Talk to the owner of the store regarding replacing the granite without seams. Discussed about playing basketball in my driveway. Told him how unprofession his workers are and hung up on me! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use these people. WORST experience in my 47 year existence on this earth.

Staff called ahead and arrived on schedule. Installation went well and very quickly. That is an indication of how accurate the counter top was measured and fabricated.

My installer Angel G called about 1.5 hours before he & the crew arrived, which gave me plenty of time to secure my pets and make my home as convenient as possible for them. They were able to come earlier than my installation time window, which worked even better with my schedule. Angel & his crew were careful, polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Angel had the Lein Release and Job Completion forms signed & ready for my review & signature. He explained the proper care of my new granite; the more info the better!Amazingly, there was no damage to the cabinetry, or walls. Very Nice!I am looking forward to the next phase of our project.Thank you, job well done!My only suggestion for DSF would be that the crews be sent to job sites with black caulk for black granite. For me it isnt an issue because I am adding a thin pencil moulding to the edges and the white will not be seen; for some who have completely square walls and want a clean look it might be a problem.

Purchased through Home Depot, the Hi-Max countertops were delivered within the time specified (two weeks). During those two weeks, their customer service desk kept me informed of status when I called. As is with most vendors, I was given a 4-hour time window the date of installation. The install team called me when they were 20 minutes out, arrived as scheduled, got to work immediately, they were focused and professional throughout. They took the time to work through some drywall issues and finished the task, cleaned after themselves, leaving me a beautiful countertop am pleased to show off. Love it.

Communication is almost non-existent. Had a problem scheduling, of course they said they would call me - never happened. Four calls later and three transfers from this manager to that manager, total smoke and mirrors. So many negative reviews, makes you wonder huh? We found many other installers willing to call back and responds, respectfully - you should too!

I was told the service man would arrive between 2 to 6. He called early and he arrived at my Home before he was schedules,. He introduced himself as Angle..He was very neat, courtesy. clean and spoke clearly.. Told me what he would do and asked me what I wanted..Bothe Angel and his helper were very knowledgeable of their job. They were efficient with their use of tools..He informed what to do to make my vanity top last. From the laser measuring of my counter space through the installation, I found Distinctive Services of Florida providing outstanding service. My walls and counter area werent exactly right angles, but thanks to the laser measuring of every corner, the subtle bad angles of my walls were corrected. I had my doubts, but when the very friendly installers placed the countertops down, they were an amazing fit -- like a glove! The installers also made sure everything was finished completely, from caulking, to installing my new sink to the counter, to shining the counters as they finished their cleanup. The installers also explained verbally some important ways to care for the countertops, which was greatly appreciated. The customer service, mostly via email, also was outstanding, keeping me informed of the process, date of delivery, and follow up. Great job!

Home Depot has remnant program for counter tops. The cost is very reasonable. We picked out our stiles tone today and are waiting for a install date. I will follow up with an update when the job is compleat. Now that the job is compleat I changed the rating to a five. Distinctive surfaces made the installation a pleasure.
